The release date for the Switch port of SteamWorld Dig 2 was already known, but developer Image & Form was unsure about the PC and PS4/Vita versions. We were given a slightly vague “few days later,” but now the date is out. You can nab the prequel/sequel on PC starting September 22 for $19.99/€19.99/£14.99.
If you’re a Sony fan, then this is a good day for you, too! The latest entry in the SteamWorld series will be hitting PS4 and PS Vita on September 26. I suppose its nearly a week after the Switch port, but at least it is still coming within a decent time frame. It will also be the same price, though I’m unsure if it supports cross-buy. Either way, it won’t be long before we’re digging again.
