How to unlock Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Scorestreaks in BO6

To unlock the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Scorestreaks, you must play TMNT Moshpit. These power-ups only work on this specific mode, as they will not appear in standard games like Free-for-All and Kill Confirmed. You can still participate in other modes in the moshpit, including a unique take on Domination, Hardpoint, and Team Deathmatch. Each player can unlock a randomized TMNT Scorestreak from one of the ?Ninja Turtles or Splinter.

On the other hand, if you have a Turtle Operator equipped, you will acquire the Scoresteak for this particular ch??aracter. That means the perk will no longer be randomized and will correspond to your equipped Operator.

A different set of Turtle Powers is also available for Black Ops 6 Zombies mode. Although they aren't Scorestreaks, they'll give you buffs like health bonuses and Pack-a-Punch 3 Legendary Weapons. It'll help you get familiar with this intense mode just in time for The Tomb Directed Mode.

You can get TMNT Operator skins through the BO6 Event Pass or Store Bundles, which are all available now with the Season 2 Relo?aded launch. Bundles will include characters ??like Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael Tracer Packs.

Each TMNT pack costs 2,400 CP each, translating to $17.99. However, there's an exciting opportunity to snag some skins for free through the Call of Duty x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration event, kicking off on Feb. 27. The Free Track offers two ninja foot clans, among other TMNT-inspired rewards. Upon reaching the end of the Tomb's Main Quest, you'll go toe to toe with the final boss, known as the "Sentinel Artifact." We'll show you how to defeat this enemy in BO6 Zombies, including how to start it and what preparations you need t??o make.

How to start the final boss fight in BO6 The Tomb

To unlock the final boss fight in BO6 Zombies The Tomb, you must acquire and upgrade the Ice Staff. Then, you'll need to use this Elemental Staff to complete four trials with the Amalgam, Parasite, Doppelghast, and Vermin statues. If you need help with these objectives, check out our complete guide on the Tomb Main Quest. Once you've obtained the Ice Staff and completed the statue challenges, head to the broken bridge at Dark Aether Nexus to start the final boss fight.

Interact with the pedestal there, which will fix the bridge. Cross it, and you'll notice a mirror-like object in the center. You'll see an?? option to 'Start the Final Encounter.' But, before you begin this venture, it's crucial to make som??e preparations first.

Best weapons and abilities to use for Tomb boss

You can use a few weapons in the Sentinel Artifact fight, including the GPMG-7 LMG or ASG-89 Shotgun. It's also a good idea to use the Ice Staff, which you should already have from the previous Main ??Quest objectives.

Now that I've spent some time in this showdown, I believe it's best not to bring in the Mustang and Sally build. As much as I love this dual weapon, I learned it does not damage the Sentinel Artifact. It can only be damaged with bullet-based weapons, so an?ything with explosives won't do you good here.

As for ot??her preparati??ons, here's a few things you need to have:

• Weapons at Pack a Punch Level 3 and Legendary rarity (mandatory)
• All Perk Colas (mandatory)
• 3 Plated Armor (mandatory)
• Aether Shroud (mandatory)
• Mutant Injection
• Free Fire GobbleGum
• Perkaholic GobbleGum
• Decoy Grenades

Without the mandatory upgrades or items, the fight will be brutal, and you may go down in no time. The other upgrades, like GobbleGums?? and Mutant Injection, aren't all that necessary, but they are nice to have. For example, you can use Perkaholic to reclaim your perks after a revive or use Free Fire when shooting at the boss. You can still get by without them, so don't stress if you don't have these gums.

How to defeat the final boss in BO6 The Tomb

For a quick overview of what to expect during this final showdown?, here's a breakdown of each phase:

• Phase 1: Sentinel Artifact will be immune in its red/orange state. Wait until its blue or purple to attack it.
• Phase 2: Boss will split into multiple pieces and unleash wide-ranged attacks.
• Phase 3: A Sentinel Artifact piece will latch onto a glowing red zombie. Eliminate this foe quickly, forcing the Sentinel Artifact to come out of it. Shoot at this artifact (avoid the others).
• Phase 4: Boss will now latch onto Elite Zombies like Doppelghasts and Shock Mimics. Bring them down to get the Sentinel Artifact out.
• Phase 5: Hordes of Elite Zombies will appear, including another one that will be glowing red.
• Phase 6: All artifacts will line up and direct light beams on a wall. Focus your attention on the wall and shoot at the Sentinel Artifact there.

Once you've begun the battle, the Sentinel Artifact will be immune to your attacks while in an orange/red-colored state. Don't waste yo?ur time shoo??ting at it; focus more on the zombies for now.

Avoid the boss' beam attack as it circles around the battlefield. Take cover near the pillars on the ground, where the boss won't be able to hit you.?? Use the Elemental Staff's Ice Storm to eliminate hordes of zombies instantly.

Wait until the Sentinel Artifact glows purple/blue to deal damage to it. You won't have much time here, and you must unleash as many bullets as you can to get its health bar down. This is where Aeth?er Shroud comes into play, hiding you from zombies temporarily. You can also use the Free Fire GobbleGum for maximum ammo.

The Sentinel Artifact will go back and forth with its immune and vulnerable forms throughout the match. The enemy will also split into multiple parts, unleashin?g more beam attacks. Repeat the process of taking cover at the pillars and striking the artifact when it's in its purple/blue state.

By the mid-point, you'll have to eliminate glowing red zombies. The Sentinel Artifact will be hiding inside them, so you must try to get it out. Once you do, spray a ton of bullets onto it. You'll need to repeat this step a few more times, as the boss will continue to latch itself onto a spec?ific zombie or an Elite Zombie.

Keep your distance from the glowing red zombies, as they can bring you down. You'll have to eliminate them quickly, or the zombies will respawn. Eventually, the Sentinel Artifacts will shoot multiple beams of light against the wall.

Shoot the artifact on the wall to conclude the Tomb's final boss battle in BO6 Zombies. Now, you ??can finally take a breather and watch the exclusive cutscene. Ensure to claim your mission rewards, including the X91 Ice-Pike Weapon, 5,000 XP, and Tomb Cal??ling Card.

The BO6 'different version' error appears whenever you're trying to join a party. Standard fixes like restarting your game?? or installing a new?? patch don't seem to address it, but fortunately, players have discovered a few workarounds with these methods:

• Join a 'Recent Players' lobby and connect with your friend from the other player's lobby
• Clear 'Reserved Space' data (Xbox users)
• Join a random party, exit out of it, and then join your friend's party
• All parties must restart their game

Reddit user notoxicity discovered a fix that requires you to join a recent player's lobby. You can find the 'Recent Players' hub in the Social tab and choose anyone active. Then, join your friend in this lobby to bypass the Black Ops 6 'different version' error. You can also join a rando?m person's ??lobby and exit out of it immediately after if the first route doesn't work.

Season 2 brought in another classic AR with the arrival of the Cypher 091.? However, its base version isn't anything to write home abo??ut, especially with its recoil control.

What is the best build for the Cypher 091 in BO6?

You can unlock the Cypher 091 through the Black Ops 6 Season 2 Battle Pass, specifically on Page 8. Equip the following ?attachments to establish a much more suitable build:

• Muzzle: Compensator
• Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
• Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
• Magazine: Extended Mag I/Extended Mag 2
• Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
• With Gunfighter Wildcard equipped:

  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
  • Optic: Merlin Mini

Since the Cypher 091's recoil control is a bit wonky, you can attach th??e Vertical Foregrip and Compensator to compensate for that. The next thing you want to do is give it more firepower using the Reinforced Barrel. You'll gain better damage range and bullet velocity, which helps with this assault rifle's slow fire rate.

You can then enhance the Cypher 091's speed with the Ergonomic Grip, making it feel like an SMG. Placing more ammunition on this build is also essential, as the standard version only includes a 30-mag size. It's up to you on which one you prefer, depending on how many rounds you want in battle.? The Extended Mag I bumps it up to a 45-mag size, while the second tier gives you 60 at the cost of mobility. There's not necessarily a wrong choice here, but each has advantages and disadvantages.

Black Ops 6 Season 2 introduces a new Main Quest for Zombies mode with the deadly Tomb map. Compared to the other maps, it's not as time-con??suming, but it does involve a few intense challeng?es.

To help you with this feat, here's a walkthrough of the BO6 Zombies The Tomb Main Quest.

How to complete The Tomb Main Quest in Black Ops 6 Zombies

To complete the Tomb Main Quest, you must conquer the following objectives in this ??order:

1. Obtain the Ice Staff
2. Upgrade the Ice Staff
3. Complete the Vermin, Parasite, Doppelghast, and Amalgam statue challenges
4. Defeat the Sentinel Artifact boss

Each task brings its own sets of challenges, where you must come prepared with Pack a Punch, high rarity weapons, and Perk Colas. The Tomb map also demands a ton of Essence, so use any GobbleGums to save some money. With the proper preparations, it's time to tackle these steps in BO6 Zombies.

How to unlock Ice Staff in BO6 Zombies

Unlike Zombies Origins, you won't have to look for staff pieces inside dirt piles. This time, you'll obtain them by defeating the Shock Mimic at Round 8 and completing the bull and hunter mural puzzles. You??'ll unlock these items for the Ice Staff build:

• Monocle
• Head Piece
• Staff

While the Monocle is easy to acquire, the Head Piece and Staff present the more challenging objective. You'll find these paintings near the Deadshot Daquiri and Death Perception machines. The goal here is to face the purple lanterns toward the bull and hunter puzzles to produce glowing Roman numerals. Sometimes, the lanterns won't be in the right place, but you can shoot them and wait a minute or two to get them closer to the painting (continue to shoot ??them if it doesn't happen the first time).

Shoot the Roman numerals in order to begin an enclosed zombie battle. The showdown includes standard undead enemies and Special Zombies, where it'll be crucial to use weapons like the Mustang and Sally. You can also follow the orb to see where the next batch of foes will spawn next. Make sure not to step out of the purple circle, too, just in case it stops your progress. Then, once it flashes white, you can pi?ck up the Head Piece or Staff?? for the Ice Staff.

Repeat the process to claim the last piece for the Ice Staff. Now, go to the Dark Aether Nexus (the Crazy Place) to place all staff pieces inside the stone structure at the center.

You must defend the Ice Staff for a few minutes until it's finally time to grab it. It'll be quite difficult to survive here due?? to the tremendous amount of undead hordes. I like using the Idle Eye??s GobbleGum here whenever things get too tough. In return, you can acquire the Ice Staff to freeze zombies for quicker eliminations.

How to upgrade Ice Staff in BO6 Zombies

To upgrade the Ice Staff in Black Ops 6 Zombies, you must freeze three purple lanterns in 10 seconds and complete the soul-farming challenge. I'll provide a quick overview of what must be done here, but if you want something more in-depth, check our Ice Staff upgrade guide.

First, you must set yourself up with the purple lanterns by getting the Stamin-Up perk. You only have 10 seconds to shoot the three lights (there's a lot on this map), so you want to establish a nice and easy route. I find it best to use the route starting from D4 to F4 coordinates. The lights on this path seem to be the closest together, which works perfectly fo??r the 10-second requiremen??t.

If a light is too far away, shoot it to move it to?? a more noticeable area. I suggest practicing a test run first to plan it out better. When you're ready, hit the three lanterns with the Ice Staff, and the NPC Archibald will commend you ?on your success.

Travel to the Dark Aether Nexus and hit rocks with symbols on them using the Ice Staff. The Ice Staff lowers the rock to make the symbols easier to see. However, be warned: the shape of the icons is a bit hard to see. So, if you aren't sure what to make of them, take a picture or write down the symbols to help you out later on.

Return to the Dig Site and shoot these symbols on one of the doors. Go through the now-opened portal and interact wi?th the orb directly in front of you. Now, you can begin the soul-farming challenge by killing zombies and following the orb. By the end of it, you can claim the Ice Staff upgrade.

All Vermin, Parasite, Amalgam, and Doppelghast statue Tomb locations

The Ice Staff upgrade provides a Healing Orb, which you can trigger with this weapon's Sekhmet's Vigor. Press the left-directional button to change the Ice Staff to Sekhmet's Vigor. You must use it to heal energy on Vermin, Parasite, Doppelghast, and Amalgam statues. Each location features similar challeng??es to one another, where you must complete the following steps (Doppelghast and Parasite will have a unique challenge, which I'll go further into):

1. Use the Healing Orb on the Vermin, Parasite, Doppelghast, or Amalgam statue
2. Pick up the glowing energy from the statue
3. Go to an identical statue in another area
4. Place the energy in the corresponding statue
5. Begin a one-minute-long lockdown challenge by defeating zombies with the illuminated circle
6. Grab the energy from the statue after completing the challenge
7. Return to the original statue and place the energy down

Every time you begin the lockdown, you will encounter enemies based on the statue you interacted with. So, if you used the Vermin one, you'd end up fighting hordes of Vermin. For the Doppelghast, you must kill a single HVT zombie. It'll sometimes transform into an immune state, connecting to another zombie.?? Get rid of this zombie to wear off the HVT's protection.

The Parasite statue mandates you to eliminate enemies of the same name, dropping purple orbs. Pick up the orbs and take them to the statue. Keep passing on the orbs until a white light flashes. From my experience, you cannot use the Mustang and Sally build. I discovered that this weapon's explosions will make the orbs disa??ppear, resulting in a loss for this challenge (you can do it again if this? happens). Instead, I like to use the Ice Staff's Ice Storm to take out a whole bunch of them.

The exact location for the statues is scattered around the Tomb, so I'll divide them to give you a better?? pic??ture.

Achieving the four lockdown challenges will give you access to the Sentinel Artifact boss fight. Like Citadelle des Morts, this enemy will be difficult to deal with, just as you would expect in the final stage of a Zombies Main Quest.

Once you place the last energy down on the statue, the broken bridge to the Sentinel Artifact will now be fixed. You may have encountered this area earlier, where Archibald talks about the ancient artifact. Enter the new destination and interact with the Sentinel Artifact to start The Tomb Final Encounter.

The final boss fight for the Tomb is considered to be the most difficult yet. Therefore, you must deck yourself out with anything you can. This includes Pack a Punch Level 3, Legendary rarity, and most Perk Colas. For better defense, upgrade your armor to three plates. If you're feeling adventurous, get the Golden Armor Plates for even more protection.

Weapons like the GPMG-7 LMG  or ASG-89 Shotgun work well with the final boss fight. However, you can go in with something else if it suits your playstyle more. I also suggest having anything that gets the zombies' attentio?n away from you, such as Aether Shroud?, Idle Eyes, and Decoy Grenades. You may want to bring the Free Fire and Perkaholic GobbleGums, too, for a more accessible experience. The Perkaholic, in particular, will help you if you're downed during the fight, giving you back your perks with a revive.

Once ready, jump in?to the battle, where you'll experience the following phases:

• Phase 1: The Sentinel Artifact will go above you while hordes of zombies spawn, unleashing a spinning attack. Wait until it appears blue/purple to inflict damage on it.
• Phase 2: Artifact splits apart and deals considerable damage with more circulating attacks.
• Phase 3: Artifact will now attach itself to a glowing orange/red zombie. Defeat them to get the artifact out of it. Then, start shooting it again once it's out.
• Phase 4: Eliminate a group of Elite Zombies and target the glowing red zombie.
• Phase 5: The boss will go inside the wall, but it should be easy enough to hit.

Survive through these phases to trigger the exclusive BO6 Zombies The Tomb cutscene. You'll receive the X91 Ice-Pike Weapon, 5,000 XP, and a unique ??Calling Card.

If you played Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, you'll likely remember the elite Golden Armor Plates. It's the one thing that allows you to regenerate your armor, giving you more protection. Now, it's back again with BO6 Zombies' The ?Tomb, and we're here to show you how to ?get it.

How to get Golden Armor Plates in Black Ops 6 Zombies

You can unlock the Golden Armor Plates by locating two head statues and completing the Blood Sacrifice challenges. Conquering a feat such as this will be extremely challenging, so preparing yourself with Pack a Punch, high-rarity weapons, and Perk Colas is crucial.

Follow the Main Quest objectives and unlock the doors to the Dark Aether Nexus. The first head statue will be inside a crate near Juggernog (G4 coordinates). Punch the crate and press 'Interact' to grab the first piece.

Go to the other side to find a crate to the left of the green doorway (D5 coordinates).

Punch the crate once more to uncover yet another head statue?? for the Golden Armor Pl?ates.

Use the blue doorway to return to the Dig Site. Here, you'll see two headless statues, which you can interact with to place the items you found earlier. If you a?pproach the statues, you'll see an option to 'Start Blood Sacrifice.' But before you press start, it's essential to know what to expect in this fight.

How to complete Blood Sacrifice challenges in BO6 Zombies

You can prepare for the BO6 Zombies' Blood Sacrifice challenge by using Pack a Punch Level 3 and Legendary Rarity weapons. Although you can get by with lower-quality guns, it'll prove much more difficult if you don't have them at this rank. You can also use the Ice Staff upgrade or a specific scorestreak to help you more? with this challenge. However, it can be tricky to choose a scorestreak, as several players (including myself) have learned that it doesn't help with damage. The Sentry Gun may be the most beneficial, but you can see what works best for you.

Those who are downed during the Blood Sacrifice will i??mmediat??ely lose the challenge. Fortunately, you can do it again in the next round if you're feeling lucky.

Where to find Golden Armor Plates in BO6 Zombies

Complete the two Blood Sacrifices to unlock the Golden Armor Plates Wall Buy. It'll be on the right side of the bull statue at the Dig Site??. It shouldn't cost you a thing, so there is no need t?o exchange any Essence.

Now that you've unlocked BO6 Zombies' Golden Armor Plates Easter Egg, your armor will regenerate automatically. It'll come in handy in the later rounds, which can be even more challenging when you dig deeper inside the Tomb.

The mighty Ice Staff has returned in Black Ops 6 Zombies, allowing you to wield its wondrous icey powers. Similar to Liberty Falls and Terminus, the quest to get it requires you to discover various pieces inside The Tomb. Find out how to get the Ice Staff in BO6 Zombies.

How to unlock Ice Staff in BO6 Zombies

To get the Staff of Ice in Black Ops 6 Zombies' The Tomb, you can craft it with the three quest items or obtain it from the Mystery Box. The l??atter option is entirely up to chance due to the randomness of the box, but yo??u may be lucky enough to get it with a few tries. I somehow got it on my first attempt, so it's not entirely impossible. But, if this option takes too long, you can get the following items to craft the Ice Staff:

• Monocle
• Head Piece
• Staff

Finding each item requires the completion of a specific objective, and I'll break down each of them to h??elp you through this quest.

How to get Monocle in BO6 Zombies The Tomb

The Monocle is the most straightforward piece to acquire for the Ice Staff since it appears pretty early in the match. Wait until Round 8 to trigger a battle with a Shock Mimic. Target the glowing spot on i??ts head to eliminate it quickly, and the Monocle will drop from its body.

How to get Head Piece and Staff in BO6 Zombies The Tomb

You can get the Head Piece and Staff by completing the bull and hunter painting puzzle. Go to the coordinates D5 and D3 to find them, and wait for a purple light to appear next to the murals. If the light is not near the mural,?? I recommend shooting it to get it closer to the painting. Wait for a few seconds/minutes until the light reappears, and repeat this step if it's not in the right place. Once it's next to the painting, Roman numerals will appear inside it, indicating that the puzzle i??s ready.

Shoot the Roman numerals in order until it forms a constellation. A flash of light will appear, forcing you to battle with the undead and Elite Zombies. Do your best to survive this showdown with the Mustang and Sally build (or any preferred weapon) and Perk Colas. After you've defeated e??nough zombies, the white light will reappear, and you can pick up ei??ther the Head Piece or Staff near the painting.

Repeat this process of shooting the Roman numerals and defeating the undead again to claim both pieces for the BO6 Zombies Ice Staff. If you still need help with this step, check out our painting puzzle solutions guide.

How to craft Ice Staff in BO6 Zombies

First, enter the Dark Aether Nexus, aka the Crazy Place 2.0 (the same place as the Pack a Punch machine). Go to the center and interact with the structure there to place down the three pieces.

Once again, it'll result in yet another intense battle, where you must defend the Ice Staff for a few minutes. It's a brutal fight, but I found using the Idle Eyes GobbleGum extremely helpful. This ability temporarily allows you to be invisible to zombies, which at least gets them off your back. But, if you don't have this GobbleGum, make sure to have a Pack a Punch weapon. JuggerNog and Quick Reviv??e Perk Colas are good, too, as they will benefit your health.

After successfully protecting the staff for a few minutes, you can finally claim the Ice Staff for the BO6 Zombies Main Quest. I'll have to see what events will transpire from it and update this guide when I get m??ore information. Or, you can see how long you last with the Staff of Ice, freezing zombies for more XP.

How to upgrade Ice Staff in BO6 Zombies

You can upgrade the Ice Staff to Ull's Arrow, which has a much better damage rate than its base version. It'll function similarly to Zombies' Origins, creating blizzards to eliminate t?he undead. Here's a brief overview of the steps you need to take:

1. Hit three purple lanterns in 10 seconds (I will show you the best order to do this step)
2. Go to the Dark Aether Nexus
3. Shoot three rocks with a purple glow and note down their symbols
4. Exit out of the Dark Aether Nexus and locate the door with the same symbols
5. Shoot the three symbols in any order on the door
6. Enter the portal
7. Interact with the orb
8. Start the zombie soul farming challenge
9. Follow the orb and eliminate zombies to farm enough souls
10. Wait until the orb circles around to the stone structure where you first picked up the Ice Staff
11. Obtain Ull's Arrow

Knocking out the steps above is easier said than done. I'll go into detail on each one to get closer to the BO6 Zombies Ice Staff upgrade.

Best lantern order for Ice Staff

The Tomb map holds many lanterns that you can hit for fiery kills. You'll have plenty of them for the Ice Staff upgrade, but I recommend hitting them in a particular order for the 10-second requirement. I also suggest getting the Stamin-Up perk to quicken your movement. Reddit user VillixEdits discovered the ??best lantern order usin??g this route:

1. Lantern at D4 coordinates in the same room as Deadshot Daquiri (above the doorway)
2. Lantern at E4 coordinates in the same room as Stamin-Up
3. Lantern at F4 coordinates, across from Quick Revive

Here's the exact route you should follow:

This route is the quickest one, based on my own experience, but you'll need to set yourself up first. Similar to what you've done for the murals, you must?? shoot the lanterns until they are in a more accessible area. Let's break them down to show you what to look for:

D4 coordinates Lantern (First)

E4 coordinates Lantern (Second)

F4 coordinates Lantern (Third)

You can try this process again if you go over the 10-second mark. To restart it, you can save and quit to return to the match again. Saving and quitting seems to be the only way to reignite the flames after you've hit it with the Ice Staff. You may also need to trigger the next round if you fail to do so again (I had to do this several times). Those who successfully hit the three lanterns on time will produce a dialogue with Archibald.

Ice Staff rock symbol combination

After you've spoken to Archibald, he'll tell you to go to the Dark Aether Nexus. Go inside and look for three glowing rocks above. They're pretty hard to spot, but you can use your Ice Staff to lower them and reveal a randomized symbol. There isn't an exact location for their rocks, as it'll be different for each match. The best thing you can do is hit rocks with your Ice Staff a few times to see if any move? down.

Note down the symbols by taking a screenshot or drawing them yourself. When you've hit all three rocks, Archibald wil?l speak to you again, and one of the doorways will now be locked. Exit the Dark Aether Nexus and go to the opposite side of this door in the Dig Site area. You should find a d??oor with symbols on the other side.

Shoot the same three symbols you noted down with your Ice Staff. Then,?? enter thr?ough this same doorway to begin the final Staff of Ice upgrade step.

How to unlock Ull's Arrow in BO6 Zombies

When stepping through the portal, you'll transport yourself onto a rock. Interact with the orb and follow it to farm zombie kills. You must be a??s close to the orb as possible. I noticed the challenge can fail when you aren't near it, restartin??g the quest.

If you fail the zombie farming challenge, go outside the Dig Site and shoot the same three symbols again. The door may be different, so just circle around the Dig Site to find another one with symbols on it. Repeat the same process of farming those kills again, and it should lead you to the stone structure where you obtained the Ice Staff. Now, you can finally reap the rewards of Ull's Arrow and use it to clear out the BO6 Zombies Main Quest.

How to get and use Monocle in BO6 Zombies The Tomb

You can find the Monocle after you've unlocked the Dark Aether Nexus, a place that will be marked in the Main Quest guide for Pack a Punch. It'll require a significant amount of Essence, so try to rack in as much cash as possible. By Round 8, you must defeat a Shock Mimic to claim the Monocle for the Ice Staff Easter Egg. Ensure to target the glowing spot on its head for a quic?k take?down.

The Monocle is one of three pieces for the Elemental Staff of Ice, which has the power to freeze and kill zombies. Locate the Head Piece and Staff to complete the build with the Monocle. You must find the bull and hunter murals at the D5 and D3 coordinates for this.

Roman numerals will appear on it when a purple light is near the murals. If you don't see this, you'll likely need to shoot the light to get its location closer to the painting. Then, shoot the Roman numerals to trigger a zombie-fighting challenge. Survive this brutal round long enough to unlock the Head Piece or Staff. Remember, this step must be done twice with the bull and hunter murals, all?owing you to get all items for the Ice Staff.

Lastly, return to the Dark Aether Nexus and place the Ice Staff Monocle, Head Piece, and Staff in the stone structure at its center. Guard it for a few minutes to acquire the Elemental Staff. The Staff of Ice will undoubtedly be helpful for BO6 Zombies' Main Quest and later rounds. However, you should be careful in the Tomb's enclosed space si?nce you can trap yourself. Frozen zombies from the Ice Staff can also cause more trouble, as they can block your way sometimes. When in doubt, use the open area of the Dig Site to reduce the risk of being trapped or downed.

When digging deeper into the Tomb in Black Ops 6, you'll discover a set of paintings marked with illuminated symbols. It's all in part with Call of Duty Zombies classic Easter Eggs, getting you further in the Main Quest. Here's how to solve the painting puzzle in BO6 Zombies.

BO6 Zombies Bull and Hunter mural puzzle solutions for Ice Staff

You'll come across two paintings in Season 2's The Tomb: a bull and a hunter (I will go further into where you can find them below). You must wait until a purple light appears near one, triggering glowing Roman numerals within its artwork. If the light isn't close enough to the painting, shoot it to change its location. It takes about a few seconds/minutes to ??reappear in another area. You may need to do this a few times until the light eventually gets clo??ser to the mural.

Like the Citadelle des Morts book puzzle, you must shoot the Roman numerals in order. I've compare??d my playthrough with?? others, and the placement of numbers always seems to change. So, if you aren't too familiar with Roman numerals, here's a brief overview of the order:

• I: 1
• II: 2
• III: 3
• IV: 4
• V: 5
• VI: 6
• VII: 7
• VIII: 8
• IX: 9
• X: 10

If you hit them in the correct order, the numbers will glow green and connect using a blue line. It'll then trigger a battle against hordes of zombies. Be warned; this is an extremely intense battle riddled with Special Zombies. Even as an avid Zombies player, this part proved to be a bit stressful, and I'll admit I was screaming the entire time out of sheer fear. It's mainly because Shock Mimics and Amalgams will appear all at once, which will be quite difficult to go against without the right gear. Using the Mustang and Sally build (with Pack a Punch) is probably the best approach, as it can el??iminate them with a few hits.

You must complete this entire process with the bull and hunter paintings to obtain the parts of the BO6 Zombies' Ice Staff. The pieces will appear after you've survived the painting's zombie challen??ge, where a flash of light will trigger. Look near the artwork to pick up the piece, and repeat this procedure with the next challenge if you haven't already done so. I'm still looking into how to get the Ice Staff, and I'll update this guide once I discover more information.

Regarding Call of Duty, it's easy to argue that Black Ops is perhaps the most beloved and popular series in the franchise's history. Now that Black Ops 6 has been released, I've looked through the last 17 years to rank ?every? Treyarch-developed game from worst to best.

It's a testament to the quality of the Black Ops series that Treyarch is widely viewed as the best Call of Duty developer, which made ranking the seven mainline entries difficult. A dev team rarely has no absolute stinkers in their library, but Treyarch has never made a bad CoD game, at least in my opinion.

However, this is an article to rank them all, so I couldn't sit on the fence and say that they're all great, which is why we're ranking all Black Ops games in order. For this list, we've included Call of Duty: World at War, as it is viewed as the beginning of the Black Ops series due to characters from it appearing in 2010's Black Ops.

7. Black Ops 4

• Release year: 2018
• Platforms: PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4
• Modes: Multiplayer, Zombies, Blackout

Picking the worst Black Ops game is like going to a donut shop and picking the least tasty one: They're all pretty good. There had to be a loser, though, and for me, Black Ops 4 is probably the least memorable title in the series, and I always felt like I wasn't sure what kind of Call of Duty game it was.

The return to "boots on the ground" CoD was certainly welcome, but bringing Specialist abilities back meant that BO4 felt like an odd mix of classic and futuristic Call of Duty that never quite worked for me. The decision not to release with a campaign also damaged this title, and the public reception to it meant Black Ops 4 was on the b?ack foot before it was even rel?eased.

Treyarch does deserve credit for the game, though; for the most part, the multiplayer was fun, and Blackout was a great introduction to Battle Royale in CoD, laying the groundwork for the ultra-successful Warzone. While Blackout was a little clunky and wasn't updated very often, it was still an enjoyable experience that shaped the Call of Duty we play today.

6. World at War

• Release year: 2008
• Platforms: PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii
• Modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies

World at War is viewed as the starting part of the Black Ops franchise, even though it doesn't feature the series' iconic title. Set during World War II, it was a stark change from the previous year's game, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

As it's the oldest CoD game on this list, it's easy to write it off, but to do so would be a mistake. The campaign is one of my personal favorites—It's dark and gritty, and?? switching between the Americans and the Soviets really gives you a feelin?g that you're not in control of what's happening and the true intensity of war.

Of course, you can't talk about WAW without gushing about Zombies, the starting point of the legendary mode, and some of my favorite memories in Call of Duty. I can still pic??ture myself sitting in my old bedroom playing Nacht der Untoten with my buddies, even though I was terrible at it.

Unfortunately, Multiplayer is where I feel like World at War slips down this list, as I didn't enjoy many of the maps, the PPSh-41 (which has recently returned for Black Ops 6) dominated the weapon meta, and the inclusion of tanks didn't feel like Call of Duty multiplayer to me. In truth, I ended up returning to CoD4 before the year ended, and I never looked back.

5. Black Ops 3

• Release year: 2015
• Platforms: PC, macOS, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3
• Modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies, Bonus (Dead Ops Arcade, Nightmares, Freerun)

Look, before I get into Black Ops 3, I have to be honest. Advanced Warfare is, in my opinion, the best jetpack Call of Duty game by a mile, and I don't care what anyone says. So, with that in mind, there was simply no way I could rank it any higher than this, even though I know BO3 has its loyalists who think it's the best CoD ever.

Black Ops 3 multiplayer is fun, but I think the jetpacks are almost too powerful. Being able to wall-run and dash to the sides made it play too quickly for my liking, and at times, it felt like you were playing Halo rather than CoD. It does have some really good maps like? Strongho??ld or Evac, but it's also got some stinkers like Exodus and Havoc which were just not enjoyable to play.

For me, BO3 also has the weakest campaign in the series and ended up being a confusing experience that didn't really explain why you were doing anything. The campaign gameplay is fun and does have some good moments, but it's not enough to make up for the flawed story. On the other hand, the BO3 Zombies Chronicles edition was one of the real stars of the show, remastering some of the most iconic maps in the series, like Or?igins and Moon.

4. Black Ops 6

• Release year: 2024
• Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC
• Modes: Campaign, Zombies, Multiplayer

Black Ops 6 has the makings of being one of the best BO titles, but it still needs a little more work for it to be at the top of the list. Since it's in its early stages, it's hard to judge the game entirely while things are set in motion, whether with new upcoming maps or modes. However, even though it's still the beginning, the Black Ops 6 multiplayer experience is probably the most ?fun I've had in a while.

The fluid Omnimovement is my favorite thing in the world, making an Operator's movement much more accessible than other versions. Plus, the speed of the character makes me feel like I'm the DC Hero, the Flash, and now I can't seem to play any other CoD entry just because the movements are too slow. The only thing I wish multiplayer would expand upon is the maps. Most of them are riddled with spawn traps or are downright c??onfusing with their layouts. But, like I said before, maybe it could turn around with the new maps of the season.

When it comes to the campaign, it's a bit of a mixed bag. While some moments are incredibly cinematic, others fall short and don't quite deliver. Yet, the Zombies storyline is a different story. It's engaging and delves into t??he lore of fan favorites like Edward Richtofen and Sama?ntha Maxis, creating a more compelling aspect of the game. 

The Zombies mode is the main reason why Black Ops 6 is so good. The Easter Egg hunt and versatile Wonder Weapon collection brings me back to the old Zombies, where everyone worked together to uncover its secrets. Sure, sometimes it feels like a wild goose chase, but when you finally discover its hidden ?gems, it feels all the more worth it.

3. Black Ops Cold War

• Platforms: PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4
• Modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies

Black Ops Cold War is my favorite of the "modern" Call of Duty titles and was lightyears better than 2019's Modern Warfare reboot. There's a lot to like about BOCW, with a solid campaign that's bolstered by the fact that decisions you make during the story can change the ending you see. I ended up completing it a couple of times to see what happened, which is something I rarely do with CoD campaigns.

The Zombies Dark Aether storyline was also really strong, and the gameplay was, in my opinion, the best since Black Ops 2. The maps were good, the gameplay didn't get too convoluted, and it was generally an enjoyable experience. Multiplayer on this game was also great, with gunplay feeling much more rewarding than MW and classic maps returning to the game. I spent hours playing BOCW's ?Ranked Mode, and if it was still live, I'd be tempted to? go back.

My only real gripe with Black Ops Cold War is how strong the skill-based matchmaking felt in multiplayer, which made playing matches feel more like work than fun at times. Still, I have fond me?mories of this game, and it almost feels harsh to ra?nk it third.

2. Black Ops

The first CoD game to boast the Black Ops title, Treyarch's 2010 is an almost flawless Call of Duty game. The campai??gn was the best in the entire franchise, with an ending (which we won't spoil in case you haven't played it) that?? will blow your mind.

Multiplayer gameplay was also excellent, with weapons that were enjoyable and rewarding to use, while the maps were also widely excellent. Black Ops is the game that introduced Nuketown, one of CoD's most iconic maps that is recreated to this day, showing how influential this game really was. Even Black Ops 6 brought Nuketown ?back, in light of how much the community enjoys playing it.

No surprise, but Black Ops' Zombies mode is also brilliant, with unique maps that each posed different challenges, a solid storyline that weaved through every map, and great gameplay that added new guns like ?the Thunder and Wave Guns.

1. Black Ops 2

• Modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is the pinnacle of the franchise. It's not just the best Black Ops game, it's the best Call of Duty, period.

BO2 was the first campaign in the series to ??use branching storylines, with decisions you make affecting the ending you get. Better than that, ??????????????????????????the choices have real stakes and really invest you in the story. Treyarch went above and beyond in this campaign and hasn't been able to match it since.

Zombies in Black Ops 2 is good, not great, but still a really fun experience that is boosted by its incredible gunplay and all-around gameplay. Nevertheless, if I were to judge the BO2 Zombies' experience on the map Origins alone, it would be a 10 out of 10, no questions asked. Every time Call of Duty comes up in conversation, I'm always quick to ask if they've played Origins just to get the chance to talk about it. It's the best Zombies map, with its all-powerful Elemental Staffs, a lively cast of characters, and numerous Easter Eggs. Origins is unlike anything I've played in Zombies before and continues to be my favorite aspect in the entire CoD universe.

Then, there's Black Ops 2's multiplayer, where this game blows everything else out of the water. This title has arguably the best maps in the franchise, with remakes still popping up in CoD games to this day. On top of that, the guns feel so rewarding to use, the Pick 10 class system is still yearned for by players, and League Play is the standard to which all CoD Ranked Play modes are st?ill held, and none have managed to better it yet.

A truly perfect Call of Duty game, ??and one that has yet to be matched in the 12 years since its release.

The iconic PPSh-41 has? been a powerhouse in?? multiple Call of Duty entries, all spanning from the game's WWII era. Now, it'll make a new name for? itsel?f in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2, expanding the ever-so-mobile SMG class. Here's how to u??nlock it.

How do you unlock the PPSh-41 in BO6 and Warzone Season 2?

You can unlock the PPSh-41 in the Season 2 Battle Pass on Page 6 as an HVT Tier Reward or from a Blueprint on Page 14. The new season arrives on Jan. 28, 2025, so you must wait until then. Once it drops, you'll likely have the ch??oice of getting it for free with enough XP or through a premium purchase for those who want to get it instantly.

To get the ?PPSh-41 for free, you can start farming for XP by simply play?ing the game. Using tokens is always a good way to go, and there may be another Double XP Weekend event that could help you out even more. Plus, you can rely on Daily Challenges to get around 2,500 to 5,000 XP.

Like many SMGs, PPSh-41 thrives in close-range combat, excelling in rapid-fire and damage rates. However, you may want to tweak its build to improve recoil control and handling. SMGs ??are known to have issues?? with these two stats, but thankfully, a quick change to attachments can be highly beneficial.

Equip any muzzle to the PPSh-41 to help with recoil control, and attach a stock to get a better grip on handling. You can also equip an extended magazine to compensate for t?his SMG's relatively low 32-mag size. The rest of the build depends on your preference, whether with optics or barrels to increase damage.

The more you play around with the PPSh-41, the more likely you'll earn unique camos for this build. Use the new Challenge Tracking system to keep track of your progress, earning you designs for BO6 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. The spine-chilling events of Citadelle des Morts have led the new Zombies crew into the foredoomed Tomb? map. With it, you'll experience a brand-new Main Quest filled with Easter Eggs galore, unlocking hidden treasure for those who complete it early.

Here's when to expect The Tomb Main Quest to drop in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

The Tomb's Main Quest will be released on Jan. 28 at 9 a.m. PT/11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET, the same time as the Season 2 launch. Although most mission details remain redacted, we did receive some hints from the Citadelle des Morts Main Quest. According to Professor Krafft, you'll participate in a mission to acquire a Sentinel Artifact, which could finally release Samantha Ma?xis from her Dar?k Aether prison.

Like Citadelle des Morts, The Tomb shows plenty of tight-closed spaces, whether deep in the catacombs or temple. It'll be crucial to use the upcoming Death Perception ability, a returning Perk Cola that makes it easier to detect enemies. But, if things become too chaotic, you can always head out to the Dig Site for some fresh air. One point of interest I'm particularly curious about is the Dark Aether Nexus. It reminds me a bit of The Crazy Place from the Origins map with more space-like features.

Speaking of Origins, the Ice Staff will be returning for Black Ops 6, and it'll likely be included in the Main Quest, just like Liberty Fall's Jet Gun and Terminus' Beamsmasher. You'll also see the comeback of the Mimic, now known as the 'Shock Mimic,' who will initiate the same deadly grab with a shocking twist. This undead enemy has been in many Call of Duty iterations, including its latest appearance in Modern Warfare 3.

To help you out in the fight, you can consume three ?new GobbleGums: Dead Drop, Modified Chaos, and Quacknarok. Dead Drop proves helpful for boosting Salvage and Equipment drop rates temporarily, while Modified Chaos reduces Ammo Mod cooldowns. The Quacknarok is more for fun, making zombi??es run around with rubber ducky inner tubes.

All The Tomb Main Quest rewards in BO6 Zombies

If you want to earn exclusive rewards from The Tomb's Main Quest, you must complete it before Directed Mode comes out. Directed Mode typically arrives around the Mid-Season point unless there's an extension (like what was done for Citadelle des Morts). Those who conquer The Tomb's Main Quest before BO6 Zombies' ??guided ??mode drops will earn the following rewards:

According to the Call of Duty Blog, Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 starts on Jan. 28 at 9 a.m. PT/11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET. As always, clearing out some storage room beforehand is essential for th?e new season's?? preloads.

While waiting for Season 2's release, you can hop on to Black Ops 6 now to claim rewards from the new Squid Game event. Check out the latest event pass to get Operators inspired by the hit show, including a classic Squid Game player suit a?nd the notorious Front Man. They'll only be available until Jan. 24 once the event concludes.

BO6 and Warzone Season 2 features, explained

The Call of Duty Blog's Season 2 Overview goes over several new exciting features for Black Ops 6, Zombies, and Warzone. You may have already noticed some updates for the Richochet Anti-Cheat system, addressing the cheating issues with Ranked Play, Multiplayer, and Warzone. These updates are gradually rolling out, including a new and improved detection server for Season 2.

By Season 3, we'll see a completely revamped Richochet Anti-Cheat system that'll hopefully get the cheating under control. Besides the system update, all modes will receive four new weapons and attachments (every item will be available upon launch?? except for the Mid-Season Belt-Fed):

You can acquire most of the weapons through the standard Battle Pass method, but a few items will require the completion of an event. Three events have already been confirmed, including The Terminator, Shadow Hunt, and St. Patrick's Day. The Terminator will kick things off in early February, then the season will likely conclude by March with St. Patrick's Day?.

As you may have already guessed, The Terminator event correlates to a new Operator skin inspired by the beloved film series. Take on different forms with the Tracer Pack: The Terminator, where you have the choice to be a cyborg or humanlike figure. A few other bundles will be included soon, and the LA Fire Relief Ultra Skin will continue to be available?? for Season 1 and 2.

Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Season 2 content

BO6 Multiplayer features five new maps and fo??ur modes for Season 2:

Anticipate a new Zombies music Easter Egg featuring the rock and roll work of Kevin Sherwood. If you're a longtime fan of the series, you've probably jammed it out to his many Call of Duty soundtracks, from World at War to Black Ops Cold War. Musical Easter Eggs have become a tradition in Zombies, especially in Black Ops 6. It's already been included in Liberty Falls, Terminus, and Citadelle des Morts, allowing you to listen to a unique soundtra??ck du??ring playthroughs. With The Tomb, you can uncover another melodic secret by locating the hidden headphones around the map.

While you're out collecting those headphones, you can eliminate zombies with the return of the classic SMG, the PPSh-41. Warzone Season 2 content

Unfortunately, Warzone Season 2 content has been pushed back while Treyarch works out the kinks of Battle Royale and BR Ranked. The only events on the horizon are The Terminator and Shadow Hunt, featured in early February. There's still a few new perks to try with Reactive Armor and Low Profile. Upon launch, you can up your defensive strategy with the Reactive Armor, regenarating up ??to 50 percent of your armor. Then, by the Mid-Season, the Low Profile Perk will be available, quickening your speed when crouching, proning, or do?wned.

We may see more features for Warzone Season 2, specifically during the Reloaded Mid-Season patch. ??But, if not, new content may not arrive until Season 3.

Rumors about the Origins' Ice Staff started floating around ever since Treyarch teased its wintery return on the 115 Day celebration. Turns out they were true with the latest Season 2 reveal, showing the cold bru?tality of its icy blizzard in Black Ops 6.

You'll see the Ice Staff at work towards the end of the trailer, presumably functioning the same way it always has from Origins as it freezes zombies into place. I remember the days of picking up the Ice Staff pieces in those snowy dirt piles, bringing back fond (and not-so-fond) memories of the Crazy Place. I'd be curious to know if BO6 Zombies' take on it would use a similar crafting route, but it may seem unlikely to have snow piles in the desert-like Tomb map.

Now, the big question on every Zombies fan's mind is: Where are the other Wonder Weapon Elemental Staffs? Ice is great and all, yet we're still missing Fire, Lightning, and Wind. Although they were absent from the trailer, their return seems highly likely, given that their other counterpart has entered the picture. However, there may be a slight chance of the Ice Staff being the only Elemental Staff on board. Let's just hope that doesn't c??ome to fruitio??n since it would be pretty nice to see the whole staff gang get back together.

In addition to the Ice Staff reveal, the Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 trailer introduced a new line-up of several much-needed maps. First, there's the map, Dealership, which seemingly looks like what you would think: a car dealership. Lifeline is another location on its way, with some fans deeming it another variant of the beloved Hijacked boat map. The last map, Bounty, doesn't have much content?? to go on, but it does take place somewhere in a house.

The mid-season promises two other maps, Bullet and Grind, which didn't get an exclusive look during the trailer. Grind may sound familiar for Black Ops 2 and 4 fans, featuring the beloved action-packed skate park. We'll still have to see it in action to confirm that it's the same Grind we know and love for Black Ops 6. Whatever the case may be, I'm so happy to witness the return of classic Black Ops features, experiencing the nostalgia of my yout?h in a much more modernized video game world.

The Maelstrom Shotgun was first introduced in the Merry Mayhem event, providing it to you free with enough XP. Although this event has come and gone, there's still a way to claim it. So, let's dig into how to get the Maelstrom in Black Ops 6 without the Merry Mayhem event.

How to get Maelstrom in BO6

To get the Maelstrom in BO6??, y?ou must earn 250,000 XP through the Armory Challenges. Follow these steps to locate this feature:

1. Select Black Ops 6 in the CoD hub
2. Enter Multiplayer
3. Go to Barracks
4. Select Challenges
5. Go to Armory
6. Add the Maelstrom to your Armory Challenges

The Armory Challenges allow you to unlock missed gear and weapons, like the Maelstrom, from events. You may remember the Armory from Modern Warfare 3, which utilizes a similar system. However, compared to MW3, Black Ops 6's Armory is pretty hidden in the CoD hub. I didn't even know it?? was available until ?much later, especially since the game doesn't notify you about its existence.

Once you uncover the Armory, you can select the Maelstrom and earn 250,000 XP to unlock it. Modes such as Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint can help you gain a lot of points, making the process go by quicker. You can also use XP Tokens or Double XP events for extra bonuses. Plus, if you've got enough XP for the ??Maelstrom, you can earn more for other ??potential event equipment you missed before.

Best Maelstrom build in BO6

You can equip the following attachments to get the best Maelstrom build in Black Ops 6:

• Muzzle: Full Choke
• Magazine: Extended Mag I
• Barrel: Long Barrel
• Rear Grip: Commando Grip
• Laser: Tactical Laser
• With Gunfighter Wildcard equipped:

  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip

Treyarch has been good to Zombie fans with the massive overhauling of Black Ops 6 maps and quality-of-life updates. Season 2 aims to bring even more to the table, introducing The Tomb, an ancient burial si?te overrun by hordes of zombies.

As a catacombs-based location, The Tomb reminds me of the good old days with Black Ops 2's Zombies Buried map. However, this area seems a bit more open, as you have the free range to go deep in the catacombs or outside an excavation site. According to the Call of Duty Blog, Th??e Tomb feels a little like Liberty Falls, as it features a similar tight space layout that'll make exploring all the more challenging.

You'll once again take on the roles of Black Ops 6's Zombies crew, such as Carver, Weaver, Grey, and Maya. Due to the chaotic events at Citadelle des Morts, they're on the hunt for the Sentinel Artifact, a mysterious item that may prove dangerous. With all the mystical elements BO6 has been rolling out lately, including the elemental swords and tellings of ancient artifacts, it's making me incredibly reminiscent of Zombies Origins. The map did take place in an excavation and dig site, after all, which could mean that Black Ops 6 may get us back to this fan-favorite location.

The CoD Blog also states that The Tomb promises the return of "one of the most iconic SMGs in Zombies history." I think it will be the classic MP-40 from Origins, but it could turn out t?o be another gem in the collection.

In addition to the new BO6 Zombies map and mysterious SMG return, the mode will get some much-needed updates that players have been waiting for. The Challenge Tracker, in particular, is on its way, allowing you to track up to 10 Calling Card Challenges. This also includes the separate HUDs for Zombies and Multiplayer, which wa??s previously hinte??d at in a roadmap.

I'm looking forward to two new features: the Co-Op Pause and AFK kick loadout recovery. The Co-Op Pause lets the party leader pause the game for everyone, unlike the previous version that kept the game active for the rest of the players. As for the AFK content, loadouts will save even if you're kicked for inactivity. I've lost my content from this a few times before, but thankf??ully, things are looking up for Season 2.

If you want to get ready for the new Zombies map and quality-of-life-updates, tune in for Black Ops 6 Season 2's launch on Jan. 28. You can also jump into the mode now for 115 Day, a long-running celebration for Zombies fans. Claim rewards, like double GobbleGum earn rates, Player XP, Weapon XP, and Battle Pass XP. Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded introduced four new elemental swords for Zombies. Each tool harnesses a unique power to get you through the Citadelle Des Morts Main Quest. Here's how to unlock all elemental swords in BO6 Zombies, including Raven, Lion, Dragon (Fire), and Stag.

How to unlock Wonder Weapon swords in BO6 Zombies

To locate the elemental swords in Black Ops 6 Zombies, you must acquire a Stamp first for its base version (Bastard Sword). They can be picked up from zombies with buckets/helmets on their heads, spawning after Round 10. Use the Stamps on Knight statues near the Vulture Aid Perk area (F1 coordinates). The Knights feature different symbols that correlate to what elemental you are unlocking. Here's a lo?ok into what each statue provides:

Before you go any further, I recommend completing the quest for the Pack-a-Punch and speaking with Krafft first. If you don't follow these steps, you may be locked out o??f other missions later. The Pack-a-Punch quest is pretty straightforward, as you can follow the orange-colored tasks on the screen's left side. Then, speak to Krafft behind the Quick Revive mac??hine. Interact with the brown door to find him.

After completing these tasks, it's time ?to decide which sword you want to get and pick it up. Approach any Knight and press the Interact button (same as reload). You'll receive the base version, the Bastard Sword, labeled with your corresponding element. So, if you pick up the one with the raven, it'll be mar?ked as the "Raven Bastard Sword."

Unfortunately, the Bastard Sword isn't the most suitable weapon, and you'll need to upgrade it to uncover its elemental power. Considering that there are four swords, you can do this in four different ways. So, let's break th??em al??l down.

How to get Dragon Sword in BO6 Zombies

Once you've acquired the sword from the Dragon Knight, interact with the Dragon statue in the Jugger-Nog room (E2 coordinates).

Place your sword into the slot, starting a mini Easter Egg quest. You must pick up fire from three braziers around the map to unloc??k the weapon's fiery powers. Go to? these three spots:

• Brazier Location 1: To the left of the cannon (F4 coordinates)
• Brazier Location 2: To the left of spawn, across from Dead Shot Daquiri Perk (E7 coordinates)
• Brazier Location 3: To the right of the spawn (F7 coordinates)

Here's where each brazier ?is spec??ifically on the map:

They'll be pretty easy to spot with their fiery glow. Interact with it, and you'll immediately catch on fire (losing health gradually) and gain a speed boost. To avoid dying, melee zombies while running to replenish health. Return to the Dragon Sword as soon as possible and place the fire down. Use Stim Shots if your health is r?unning low.   

Repeat this process two more times to acquire the Dragon Sword upgrade in BO6 Zombies.

How to get Raven Sword in BO6 Zombies

Interact with the Raven Knight to claim its distinct Bastard Sword. To upgrade ??it, you must perform the following steps:

1. Get the Antiquity from the Alchemical Lab: Go to the room to the left of the Knights area. Locate the Antiquity, which can take on the form of a rock with fish, rock with scorpion, horn, jaw, or two raven skulls. Keep in mind that the item and its exact location randomize each playthrough (it will appear anywhere in the Alchemical Lab).
2. Use the Antiquity on the circular structure (on the wall) at the Tavern basement: Go to spawn to find the Tavern. Place the item on the structure to place the Raven Bastard Sword.
3. Turn the dial of the structure to enter the correct symbols for your Antiquity: Each Antiquity correlates to a zodiac sign and element. Change the dial to match it to your specific item (I will dive into this more below).
4. Wait for the orbs to spawn out: If you enter the correct combination, orbs will spawn out to trigger the next phase.
5. Lure orbs to a portal on the ground: Orbs will continuously spawn out, and you'll need to guide them over to the portal so it sucks it up.
6. Repeat the fifth step two more times: Once the portal disappears, follow the orb upstairs to repeat the process again. It'll stay within the Tavern's radius, so don't go too far from this area.
7. Interact with the circular structure to claim the Raven Sword: F?ill up the three portals, and the Balmung, aka the Raven/Void Sword, will spawn.

The first step randomizes for every playthrough, so not everyone will have the same items. Additionally, only one Antiquity will spawn each map. Here's a breakdown of all the possible Antiquities you can find, including details on locations and Raven Sword combinations (shout out to Reddit user ImEasterEgg for the information):

I have done multiple playthroughs, and the items ?above seem to be the only ones available. You can determine their symbols by looking at your current type. For example, getting the two raven skulls will correlate to the twins of the Gemini symbol, which falls under the Air category.

If you're ready to enter the combi??nation, turn the dial until the two symb??ols are at the bottom, where the pointer is.

Orbs will spawn out of it, and you'll need to lure three of them to a portal. Repeat this two more times around the Tavern, then return to the circular structure when the portals disappear. How to get Stag Sword in BO6 Zombies

Grab the Stag Bastard Sword from the corresponding Knight statue. Next, obtain three Lightning Rods from the following locations:

• Lightning Rod 1: To the left of the Dead Shot Daquiri Perk machine (D6 coordinates).
• Lightning Rod 2: Attach the Dead Wire Ammo Mod to your weapon and shoot the electrical box at G5 coordinates (near Speed Cola).
• Lightning Rod 3: Defeat an Armored Zombie to drop the rod. This enemy will likely spawn at the Pack-a-Punch area, E2 coordinates.

Lightning rods will have some spikes on them to help y??ou notice them more:

The only location that won't outright show them is the electrical box task, wh?ich you can find near some stairs by Speed Cola.

Once you've acquired all three Lightning Rods, head over to the pathway toward the cannon at ?D4 coordinates. Interact with a mechanism there to place the rods down.

Equip the Stag Bastard Sword while near the mechanism and wait until it lights up with electricity. Hit the mechanism immediately after. Perform this three times, in total, to unlock the next step?.

Place your weapon in the mechanism to earn the Lightning Sword, unlocking its electricity powers.

How to get Lion Sword in BO6 Zombies

Compared to the Raven Sword, the Lion Sword is easier to obtain. Pick up its Bastard version from the Knight statue. Then, lure the four glowing yellow Parasites (bugs) to the G5 coor??dinates. Make sure not to kill them initially, as th??ey are needed later on.

You'll find the Lion Door next to the same place as the Lightning Sword's electrical box. Hit one of the bugs with your sword to make the weapon glow. Then, hit the Lion Door with your glowing sword. A symbol appears, and you'l?l need to activate three mo??re by slicing up the bugs individually. Do not attack them all that once since you must do it one by one.

Open the door by pressing the Interact button and place your Lion Bastard Sword on the pedestal. Check for a symbol on the pedestal and shoot the same icon floating to the walls. Repeat this step three more times until yo?u've acquired all four symbols. Be aware that there is a one-minute timer.

Don't worry if you fail the trial, as you can try again in the next round. Once you've completed the task, pick up the Lion Sword to start wreaking havoc. Those still needing help with this quest can check our Lion Sword guide.

How to upgrade elemental swords in BO6 Zombies

After you've turned your sword into a Wonder Weapon, it's time to take it to the next level with Ritual Items. You may have already noticed a section for these objects via the Tac-Map section, which acts as an inventory slot for Main Quest items. Each elemental sword links to a specific Ritual Item, providing a unique Tactical device after completing a series of steps. Here's what you need to d??o to find all Ritual Items:

Place each Ritual Item in specific places on the map, where you'll need to farm some zombie kills to charge up the upgrade. It works like the Point of Power Traps eliminations from the Page Fragment puzzles, collecting und??ead souls for energy. Ensure to grab the proper sword from the Knight statues and then go over to?? the following locations to obtain the distinct Incantations for it:

• Pegasus' Horseshoe (Stag Sword Electric Incantation): Barn near Deadshot Daquiri at E7 coordinates
• Ra's Ankh (Fire Sword Dragon Incantation): Front of the castle at F4 coordinates
• Raven's Talon (Raven Sword Dark Incantation): Undercroft at the lower level's D2 coordinates
• Paladin's Brooch (Lion Sword Light Incantation): Knights Room at F1 coordinates

You'll find a golden circle near these locations where you can place your Ritual Item. Stick near it and farm those kills until a chest appears with the Incantation. Once you've picked up the Incantation, it will always be available in the Knights room or other areas, even if you switch it out for a new one. This feature comes in handy later when using ?the Incantation in a specific order for the Citadelle des Morts Main Quest.

The Incantations take over your Tactical equipment, inflicting elemental damage like the Ammo Mods. The Incantations also change up your melee attacks, where you'll hold the power of the elements in the palm of your hands. You must utilize this interaction when you're on the pathway to uncover the Mystic Orb, showing off the elemental swords in front of the Knights statues. I've been on the grind for BO6's camo collection for quite a while, and the one thing I wish I had was MW3's Tracked Challenges feature. Going back and forth to check on my progress has sure been frustrating, but things are starting to look up with Treya??rch's latest reveal.

With the announcement of the Black Ops 6 Jan. 9, 2025 patch notes, Treyarch has confirmed that track challenges are 'currently in the works!' This news has not only brought a sigh of relief to me but also sparked a wave of excitement among CoD fans, who are eagerly expressing their ant?icipation in the comments. No longer do we have to be in the dark with our camo challenges during a match, nor do we have to go through the struggles of checking it every single time.

If Black Ops 6's Tracked Challenges feature works the same as Modern Warfare 3, it'll allow you to keep track of three challenges of your choice. They've primarily been used for the fan-favorite camo system, spanning the Military, Unique, and Mastery camo c?ollections.

Dealing with the more advanced camos, like Mastery, has been a real challenge. Personally, I've found it particularly difficult to manage the Diamond designs, which require unlocking Gold camos for most of the class. Keeping track of them all has become quite tedious. However, with the promise of the new BO6 ?camo tracker, these struggles will soon be a thing of the past.

Besides the tracker, Treyarch has confirmed another feature in the works: separate HUD settings for BO6 Multiplayer and Zombies. This will help those who play both modes, as you won't have to keep changing your set?tings each time.

Although we'll still need to wait for these two mechanics to arrive in a future update, a few new features have been added from the Jan. 9th patch. Changes previously put in place for Zombies' Directed Mode have now been reverted due to negative feedback from the CoD community. That means the extended time and zombie spawn delays from the Jan. 3rd update ?have be??en removed for a much more entertaining experience. The Shadow Rift Ammo Mod has also received a few buffs, including decreasing its cooldown and increasing its activation rates.

In the following weeks, updates to Zombies Dead Light, Green Light will be included, as Treyarch increases the challenge with its round cap limit. There will likely be more improvements across the board with Warzone and BO6 Multiplayer, but it may not arrive until Season 2's release. I'm hoping that the camo tracker makes the cut for the next seaso??n, which will arrive by the end of ??January.

How do you get the Young Hee Operator Skin in BO6?

You can get the Young-hee Operator skin by purchasing the Squid Game 2: Young-hee Tracer Pack. Unfortunately, this bundle is not in the shop at the time of writing, even though the skin shows up on the Operator page. I've tried to see what happens when you select the character, and it only states: "Unlocked by purchasing a bundle" and nothing else. It's a bit confusing, especially since the Young-hee skin was presumably supposed to launch with the BO6 and Squid Game event release.

It appears that the Squid Game bundles will be released gradually throughout the event. The Pink Guards Tracer Pack, the first of these bundles, debuted two days after the Squid Game event. The VIPs pack also recently debuted on Jan. 8, giving access to the show's notorious villains. If this pattern continues, we can expect the BO6 Young-hee bundle to arrive around Jan. 10. While w??e d??on't have an exact launch date, we do have a good idea of what content will be included in Young-hee's Tracer Pack. Here's what you can expect:

How to complete all Zombies Dark Ops challenges in BO6

Black Ops 6's Dark Ops challenges continue to expand with every new major update. Some objectives are tied explicitly to maps like Liberty Falls and Terminus. Then, there are the general ones that cover all locations. If you're a newcomer, the Zombies Dark Ops collection isn't for the faint of heart; these tasks come with the most strenuous quests more suited for veteran players. At the time of writing, the following Dark Ops challenges are available in BO6 Zombies:

The Perkaholic GobbleGum will help you tremendously with various objectives. If you're lucky, you'll get it for free by simply playing Zombies, as well as purchasing it from the store. The Calling Card, Well That Was a ??Waste, will come at a cost with this GobbleGum, as you must be downed immediately after consuming it. It's a double-edged sword since you'll lose out on some perks, but at least it'll give you the Dark Ops reward.

In addition to GobbleGums, you must pick up Scorestreaks to?? earn certain Calling Cards. The Harbinger of Doom, in particular, can be unlocked with Mutant Injection or Sentry Turrets Scorestreaks. You'll also need a variety of Ammo Mods, both from the Arsenal and the Augment??s. Ensure to equip your Augments before battling, especially with the Light 'Em Up's Big Game requirement.

Be prepared to invest a significant amount of time into the Zombies Dark Ops challenges. Even with the best preparations, t??hese tasks ?will demand your full attention. The key is to work on multiple challenges simultaneously to maximize your efforts. For instance, aiming for Round 100 may provide you with enough eliminations for the monumental Reaper of the Undead.

Getting to Round 100 may be one of the most difficult ones out there, but there are a few ways to make it easier. I suggest using Liberty Falls for a task such as this, as the map is smaller than Terminus, and it restricts your moveme??nt less than Citadelle des Morts. Plus, you can attempt to tackle the Main Quest for even more Dark Ops challenges.

Equipping the classic Mustang and Sally build is my go-to, eliminating a bunch of zombies in a few seconds. For Liberty Falls, ensure you get the Jet Gun Wonder Weapon later on to help you more with crowd control. But if you want to try this out in Terminus for the Terminal Dark Ops challenge, you can opt for the Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon instead.

Citadelle des Morts seems to be the only map that doesn't come with a distinct BO6 Zombies Dark Ops objective. There may b?e one cleverly hidden in there, so I'll be sure to update this guide if there are more secret finds.

When the Elemental Swords arrived in BO6 Zombies, it was a letdown in terms of power. Its damage ra??tes were nothing to write home about, and its charge time took a tad too long. Fortunately, CoD's first-ev???er 2025 update is here to finally give a good name to these swords.

One of the first significant changes is the sword's ability to now hit two enemies per swing, including additional strikes to any other zombies close by. Hit damage rates have also been raised to 100 percent at close-to-medium distances, making undead takedowns easier than ever. The Elemental Swords feel a lot ?more like classic Wonder Weapons, which have always been the most powerful in the weapon collection.

The update adds another handy feature, allowing the player to counter the Amalgram's deadly grasp by swinging the sword. It would've m?ade sense to have this feature to begin with, but I guess it's better late than never.

Each Elemental Sword received buffs all around, from the Balmung to Durandel. Notably, the Balmung, also known as the "Raven Sword," charge kill requirement has been reduced from 40 to 25. I'm more than happy to se??e this change, as it did feel a bit too overwhelming to garner that many eliminations for the ultimate attack.

The latest improvements will certainly help you tackle the Citadelle des Morts Main Quest if you haven't already. The Main Qu?est itself has also gotten a refresher with the New Year's update, fixing bugs that come up frequently for Zombies p?layers. This includes saving progress issues when picking up the Mystic Orb?? and a respawn of the Lightning Rod zombie in the Dungeon.

Due to the initial problems with the Citadelle des Morts Main Quest, Treyarch has confirmed an extension to earn exclusive rewards for this map. Typically, these gifts are no longer available when the location's Directed Mode (Zombies guided experience) releases. However, the rewards will now remain available until Season 2 starts to compensate?? for the map's previous troubles.

Many more enhancements are featured in BO6 and Warzone's first major update of 2025, such as the thrilling Squid Game crossover and Prop Hunt fixes. There are still a few more updates the community is waiting on, especially the issue with the anti-cheats. Aside from this, things are off to an excellent start for Black Ops 6 and Warzone, and hopefully, Zombies mode will contin???ue to improve along with it.

Squid Game has taken over various modes in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. Here are the five modes you can look forward ?to:

The Red Light, Green Light limited-time mode truly makes you feel like you're a part of the Squid Game. However, since it is a Call of Duty take on it, there's a twist. By Rounds 2 and 3, you can equi??p weapons, use melee attacks, and initiate Finishing Moves. So, even if you stay still, you must watch out for the other player's attacks to avoid Young-hee's deadly gaze.

As for Pentathlon, you'll get the chance to venture into two new mode variants with Piggy Bank TDM and Roulette. Eliminations in ??the latest TDM increase your score with the Mega Piggy Bank, gi??ving your team a major payout. Roulette works similarly, but you must get one-shot kills with the Roulette Handgun to double your points. This gun comes at a cost, though, as it can blow up depending on your luck.

There's also a general Squid Game playli??st through the limited-time ??moshpit. Earn the following buffs in this mode:

• Roulette Handgun: Like the Pentathlon, you can earn a handgun capable of one-shot kills. While wielding it, it'll activate a permanent UAV effect to scope out the competition around you. The only problem is that your location will be shown to everyone. Oh, and you may or may not blow up when holding it in your hands.
• Piggy Bank: Piggy Bank rewards may drop from downed Operators. Collect enough points for the Mega Piggy Bank for more gifts.
• Red Light, Green Light Scorestreaks: All enemy Operators stop moving temporarily.

The Red Light, Green Light Scorestreak is an exceptional asset to your arsenal, given that it is one of the first buffs that stops enemies in their tracks. On the other hand, it may only be available during the Squid Game event, so the scorestreak will likely be removed afterward. Remember that the content here is accessible for a limited time, including the SG features for Warzone and Black Ops 6 Zombies.

If you ever wanted to feel like royalty in BO6 Zombies, the Rat King Easter Egg is where it's at. You'll earn a crown to show everyone who's boss and collect rewards to solidify your ??high status.

Here's how to unlock the Rat King Easter Egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies, including all rat locations.

Where to find all rats and cheese wheel for BO6 Zombies Rat King Easter Egg

To unlock the Rat King Easter Egg in BO6 Zombies, locate ten rats in Citadelle Des Morts. When you approach these rats, it'll scare them off to the Pack-a-Punch room, where you can place a cheese wheel. The creature will feed off the cheese wheel, thus providing you with gifts. I highly recommend finding all ten rats first and then placing down the cheese wheel for all the rewards. I noticed that putting the cheese down with only a few rats seems to make the other ones disappear, c?ausing you to miss out on their gifts.

Each rat contains its own valuables, including Ammo Mods, Essence, and weapons of high rarity. Locate them in any order you want and collect all 10 to bestow a crown on your head for the remainder of the match. We'll break down each rat's location in BO6 Zombies, including the cheese wheel at the end.

Spawn rat location

At spawn, go to the left si?de of the Tavern at ??E7 coordinates. Look for a garden bed just before the entryway. Crouch down to scare away the rat, which will be right underneath the garden bed.

Right Side of Spawn rat location

Head to the right of spawn towards the flaming car at G7 coordi?nates. Cr??ouch down near the traffic barrier to locate the rat under the vehicle.

Deadshot Daquiri rat location

You'll discover a hole in the ground to the left of Deadshot Daquiri at D5 coordi??nates. Look closely to find one of the rats scurrying around.

Cannon rat location

Go to the left of the giant ca??nnon and approa?ch the broken part of the wood stairs at F4 coordinates.

Entrance Hall rat location

Make your way to the Knights room with the elemental swords. Travel to the right when inside the Entrance Hall. Crouch down to spot a??nother rat underneath a chair?? at F2 coordinates.

Dining Hall rat location

Walk to the bottom-left ?corner near some crates in the Knights/Dining Hall room. A rat will be underneath the pallet there at F1 coordinates.

Alchemical Lab rat location

At the Alchemical Lab (E1 coordinates), go below the table with t?he colorful stone ?tablet to uncover the next rat.

Sitting Room rat location

Travel to the Sitting Room at D2 coordinates (the same place where you may have found the Page Fragments). A rat is below a small table.

Head to the Quick Revive Perk machine at G1 coordinates (lower leve??l). To the right of the machine, you'll find a rat inside one of?? the cells.

Undercroft rat location

Inside the Undercroft, you'll find one of the last Rat King locations near an opening in? the wall. It'll be right next to a Mister Peeks Mystery Box are?a at D2 coordinates (lower level).

Rat King Cheese Wheel location

At spawn, you can find the chees??e wheel inside a window display at F6 coordinates. Shoot the glass panel and approach it to pick up t??he item.

Now, you can place it in the Pack-??a-Punch room on a plate in?? the bottom-right corner.

The rats will already be gathered there if you've found them all. Then, they'll start eating the cheese to spawn the high-valued rewards. You can also pick up the crown from the plate and place it on your head. Although the crown doesn't give you any buffs, you can still dub yourself the Rat King of Black Ops 6 Zombies.

BO6 and Warzone Archie's Festival Frenzy event guide

You can start collecting Jolly Archies in BO6 or Warzone to get rewards for Archie's Festival Frenzy. Earn this festive currency by getting eliminations in BO6 Multiplayer or Zombies, as well as opening up supply caches in Warzone. Then, exchange a certain amount of Jolly Archi??es to unwrap presents on the Event page.

Although the gifts are shrouded in mystery, some players have already gotten a sneak peek into what's inside. Here's what you can expect for rewards in the BO6 and Warzone Archie's Festival Frenzy:

You'll see the Jolly Archies figurine floating nearby when you get kills in BO6 or open supply caches in Warzone. Based on my experience, it doesn't seem to drop every single time, so it'll probably take ?a while to accumulate enough of them for the presents.

You can unlock each present in any order you want as long as you have enough Jolly Archies to open them. However, if you want to gain the Mastery reward, you must first unwrap every gift in Archie's Festive Frenzy collection. This reward presents the new weapon, the AMR Mod 4. There aren't too many sniper rifles to utilize in Black Ops 6, so unlocking this bad boy should definitely ??be at the top of ?your list.

If you're a Blackcell user, you can get your ha?nds on the latest Nazir Operator Skin. It'll come ??with an orange-based outfit and some cool-looking shades. Even those who aren't Blackcell members can still earn other free rewards, especially with the Reflexes Perk and Major Gift Weapon. While the Major Gift offers a stunning gold look for a pistol, the Reflexes ability allows you to delay triggered explosives when running away.

You'll have some time to collect each reward the more you play Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The Archie's Festival Frenzy event will conclude by Jan. 3, 2025, so ensure you complete those objectives before CODMAS 2024 ends.

CODMAS always brings out Call of Duty's more festive side, instilling a wintery change to classic maps and games. For Black Ops 6, we have the limited-time mode, Jingle Hells. We're here to explain what this mode is and how it affects Zombies.

What is Jingle Hells mode in BO6 Zombies?

The Jingle Hells limited mode transforms Zombies' Liberty Falls into a winter wonderland. Despite the undead still roaming the map, the festive ambiance with its adorned Christmas trees, snow, and zombie costumes will surely get you in the holiday mood. However, this also presents some challenges, as the Mystery Box, Crafting Table, and Arsenal Machines are inaccessible due to the winter storm, adding an extra layer of difficulty to the Main Quest.

Although thing??s like the Mystery Box are inaccessible, you can look forward to the following new co?ntent:

• GobbleGum gifts: Earn the Holiday Cheer GobbleGum.
• Naughty or Nice Power-Up: Locate floating stockings and earn presents, or battle it out with Vermin enemies.
• Snowball Piles: Liberty Falls now spawns snow piles with up to five snowballs for you to grab. Throw them to deal damage to the zombies.
• Snowmen: Like the Naughty or Nice Power-Up, Snowmen can either offer presents or an enemy to tackle.
• Present Boxes: Some downed zombies will provide presents upon elimination.
• S.A.M.T.A. Trials: Similar to the S.A.M. Trial challenges, but with a festive take.
• Frozen Rounds: Your movement will be much slower during specific rounds, almost freezing you in time.

The many gifts that Jingle Hells promises will make Liberty Falls much easier to handle. Though, it does come at a ?price, as you can sometimes trigger a zombie showdown if you're on the naughty list. Keep an eye out for the Snowmen around the map, which will be marked with a red marker. While they may seem harmless, it's best to always be prepared for a fight in case things take a turn.

Those new to Zombies sho??uld know ?about the mode's S.A.M. Trials. This trial allows you to participate in a limited-time challenge, including landing a certain amount of punches with Melee Macchiato or initiating enough dolphin dives using PhD Flopper. You'll then be rewarded with high-valued items, going up in rarity the more kills you get.

With Jingle Hells, S.A.M??. will now be known as "S.A.M.T.A. Trials." The challenges will more or less remain the same but with a holiday twist. You can also unwrap some ?presents scattered around the trial machine, so be sure to check it out each time it spawns.

Get ready for this mode on Dec. 17, going along with the rest of the CODMAS 2024 events. It isn't quite clear when this limited-time mode concludes. However, given that the last celebration ends around ?Jan. 3, it could close up during that time.

Compared to Liberty F?alls and Terminus, Citadelle des Morts may seem daunting at first, with its multitude of objects to collect. But fear not; with the right guidance, this challenging venture can become a manageable task.

If you're ready to conquer the Citadelle des Morts Main Quest Easter Egg, here's your roadmap to victory in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

How to complete Citadelle des Morts Main Quest in BO6 Zombies

The first phase of the Citadelle des Morts Main Quest should be easy, as the game provides you with a guided mission. However, it doesn't tell you that you must speak to Krafft, who will be in the ro??om behind the Quick Revive machine.

It's cru??cial to do this step and unlock the Pack-a-Punch machine since they're prerequisites for the later tasks. To knock out the prerequisite quests, here's wha??t you need to do:

1. Open the gates to the castle
2. Use the cannon to open the castle door
3. Defeat the Doppelghast and pick up the crystal from its corpse
4. Use the crystal to activate the Pack-a-Punch machine
5. Speak to Krafft in the Quick Revive room

As long as you follow the star waypoints, you should achieve the initial phase within the first six rounds (less if you're lucky). Then, you'll move on to the most essential part of the quest: obtain all mission items and the elemental swords to trigger the boss fight. Unlike the first phase, most objects can be picked up in any order. You can even grab multiple items in a single round if you leave a few zombies alive. On the other hand, the Mystic Orb and Guardian Key will need to be saved for last. You can start on the Page Fragments task after speaking to Krafft. They'll appear in the Sitting Room (the same place as St??amin-Up). There are 12 potential spots you can search for in this room:

• Bunk bed
• On top of desk
• On top of crates
• On the ground near the same crates
• The wall with the rope
• On top of two TVs
• On top of the singular TV
• In the corner near the wall opening to Alchemical Lab
• The wall near the doorway to the Undercroft
• On a couch
• On a small table
• Wall with a vase

Look around for the pages, which will be marked with a red s?ymbol. These symbols correlate to a puzzle deep in the Undercroft.

Once you've obtained four Page Fragments, head to the Undercroft (lower level with Pack-a-Punch and Quick Revive). Punch the wall that has a blue light shining from it, using the Melee Macchiato Perk.

You'll see various symbols that must be shot in a specific order. To find out the right combination, go to the Tavern near spawn, and look for Potion Vials in these locations:

• Vial I (1): Bar counter
• Vial II (2): Table near Arsenal machine
• Vial III (3): Top-right corner of the room, on top of a table
• Vial IV (4): Shelf near pool table (second floor)
• Vial V (5): Table across fom Vial II
• Vial VI (6): Table near the doorway on the left side

In??teract with each Potion Vial to produce a unique symbol on the bottle. It'll be different each playthrough, so try to mark ?it down in the correct order.

Return to the Undercroft and shoot the same symbols with the right combination. Keep in mind that the blocks will shift around every time you shoot one. It'll make things more challenging, so you may want to use Aether Shroud or the Idle Eyes GobbleGum to make yo??urself invisible to zom??bies temporarily.

If you've completed the puzzle successfully, a hidden part of the wall will appear. Place down the Page Fragments in the book. You'll see a symbol with one eye, one eye with eyelashes, eye with eight spikes?? (looks like a sun), and an eye with four spikes. The symbols will mix and match ever?y playthrough, but the page order will remain the same. Here's what order you can note down:

1. Symbol on the top-left corner of the book
2. Symbol on the bottom-left corner of the book
3. Symbol on the top-right corner of the book
4. Symbol on the bottom-right corner of the book

You can also use this image as a guide (my symbols will probably be different from ???yours):

Find these symbols on Point of Power Traps and activate them in order. They'll have an outline of each Page Fragment symbol on them, indicating that they can be used for the book puzzle. You can ignore the ones that hav??e a circular outline arou?nd the trap, as they will not be tied to the puzzle.

Activate the trap and stick around its radius until you farm enough zombie kills (usually goes up to 1,600 points). Since the traps require money, I like using this time to collect the elem?ental swords and Ritual items to get more cash. Complete all four traps and Krafft will notify you when you've done things correctly.

How to unlock all elemental swords in BO6 Zombies

You can start crafting the elemental swords by Round 10, where you can pick up a Stamp from a zombie with bu??cket/knights helmet. Use the Stamp and approach one of the knight statues in the same room as the Vulture Aid Perk (F1 coordinates).

You'll recieve the base version, also known as "Bastard," for the elemental sword first. To upgrade each sword in BO6 Zombies, complete these steps:

The Raven Sword is a bit more complicate??d than t??he others, so here's what you can expect for each Antiquity:

After you've?? collected eac?h sword, you can attach Incantation buffs to them using the Ritual items.

All Ritual Item locations in BO6 Zombies

You can get all the Ritual Items fairly quickly if you've unlocked most of the main doorways on the map. However, be warned that quitting and saving can cause it to disappear. Theref??ore, you may want to do this step in one go.

The Ritual Items can be used to make Incantations for the swords. Search for? yellow circles around the map to place them down, and upgrade it by eliminating a certain amount of zombies near it.

When you farm enough?? zombies, a chest will appear. Equip the corresponding sword and melee the box to pick up the Incantation inside. Here's where you can find them:

• Dark Incantation (Raven Sword): The Undercroft
• Light Incantation (Lion Sword): Knights room
• Electric Incantation (Stag Sword): Spawn area
• Dragon Incantation (Dragon Sword): In front of the castle to the right

Every time you pick up the Incantation, a new chest can be found in the Knights room. That way, you don't have to travel so far to claim them again. It'll also come in handy for the Mystic Orb task, one of the last steps of BO6 Zombies' Citadelle des Morts Main Quest.

How to unlock Mystic Orb in BO6 Zombies

To unlock the Mystic Orb in BO6 Zombies, you need to complete the previous steps involving the Page Fragments, elemental swords, Ritual Items, and Incantations. After completing these objectives, you'll find a new piece of artwork displaying the sword icons in the hallway to the Undercroft. It'll be near the Sitt?ing Room with Stamin-Up. Keep in mind that the order changes every playthrough, so mine will look different from yours:

Note down the order you have and go to the Knights room. Perform the following steps:

1. Approach the correct statue in your distinct order
2. Use the Incantation (Tactical interaction)
3. Perform a Weapon Inspect once it glows (Emote interaction)
4. Wait for the Knight to produce a yellow glowing light
5. Switch out your sword and Incantation for the next one
6. Repeat the steps above three more times with the other statues

Remember to use the ?Incantation boxes in the Knights room to reduce the need for travel. It'll appear there after you've sliced the chest from the Ritual Item circles.

You'll know when you've ?d??one things correctly when the statue produces a yellow glow.

Continue to do this ste??p until all four statues illuminate. In return, the Mystic Orb will spawn at the center.

How to get Guardian Key in BO6 Zombies

You must use the Mystic Orb and participate in four sword trials to get the Guardian Key. To start the trials, you must pla?ce the orbs around the same area as the Ritual Item upgrades. Go to these places (do this in any order):

• Dragon Sword challenge: In front of the castle on the left side
• Lion Sword challenge: Across from Vulture Aid Perk machine
• Raven Sword challenge: Undercroft
• Stag Sword challenge: Spawn

Once you've placed the Mystic Orb, you must use the corresponding element during the challenge. So, if you are participating in the Dragon Sword challenge, you'll need to get fire kills using the designated sword, the Incantation, or any other explosive devices. It works the same as the Ri??tual Item Incantation step, farming souls from zombie kills.

The Lion Sword challenge is the only exception, as this one doesn't require you to use its distinct element. Instead, you'll need to stand in the spawned green orbs and wait until a smaller orb spouts out of it. Fill up the? Mystic Orb with these orbs (souls) and p?ick it up once it's ready.

Ensure to fill up the Mystic Orb four times and return to the area with the sword order artwork at D1 coordinates. Interact with the wall to place the Mystic Orb, thus providing you with the Guardian Key. If you're still having ?trouble finding any of the orb locations, I'll show you where to place ea?ch of them:

How to defeat Citadelle des Morts final boss in BO6 Zombies

Before you start the Final Encounter, it's crucial to make some preparations. Acquire as many useful Perk Colas as you can, including Jugger-Nog, Quick Revive, Speed Cola, Deadshot Daquiri, and Stamin-Up. It's also an excellent idea to Pack-a-Punch your weapon to Level 3 and get it to Legendary rarity with the Arsenal machine.

Weapons, like the Ray Gun and Mustang and Sally build, are pretty good picks for the upcoming fight. I also suggest bringing along anything that makes you invisible to zombies temporarily. This includes the Idle Eyes GobbleGum and the Aether Shroud. It'll help you get the zombies off your back, so you can focus on the enemy ahead. Additionally, Mutant Injection can be a game-changer for the boss' last stage.

When you're ready to begin the boss fight, go to the statue at spawn and approach it to place the Guardian key.

??The Citadelle des Morts boss fight features three phases:

Defeating the Guardian boss in BO6 Zombies grants you 5,000 XP, the Jackknife Operator Skin, and Calling Card. It'll also give you an exclusive cutscene, similar to Maya's secret storyline with the Morse code puzzle.

Black Ops 6's Emergence takes a page from the Zombies book as you battle against und?ead-like enemies. Not only will you go toe-to-toe with numerous foes, but you'll also need to find the Joint Projects Director Keycard amongst all this madness. Here's where to find and acquire this crucial item.

How to get Joint Projects Director Keycard in BO6 Emergence

When you begin the Emergence mission, you'll receive a map with an East and West Wing. The East Wing with the Joint Projects and Cognitive Research buildings will be locked at first. To open the East Wing and get the Joint Projects Director Keycard in BO6, follow these steps:

1. Enter the West Wing first
2. Use the computer and enter 'Access' and then 'Lift'
3. Acquire the Grappling Hook and defeat the Abomination mini-boss
4. Place the Advanced Combat Research card in the central hub
5. Enter the East Wing and approach the Joint Projects entrance
6. Look up and use your Grappling Hook above the entrance
7. Continue straight forward and enter the room ahead
8. Try to grab the Joint Projects Director Keycard on the camera (be prepared for an enemy jumpscare)
9. Face off against the Mimic mini-boss to get the Joint Projects Keycard (I know it can be a struggle to locate this enemy, so I'll dive more into this below)

The first few steps will be pretty straightforward, especially if you're an avid Zombies player. Defeat all the undead, and you'll get the yellow keycard to unlock the ?East Wing entrance. Use the Grappling Hook above the Joint Projec??ts entrance to go inside.

The Joint Projects Director Keycard will be dead ahead, but unfortunately, it won't be that easy ??to grab. Like the previous card, a zombified foe will spawn out to cause some trouble. However, this time, the enemy will hide itself from you.

How to find the Joint Projects Director boss in BO6 Emergence

The Joint Director boss disguises itself as objects around the room, almost like Prop Hunt. Look for any items that are shaking in place, which is a clear sign that it's the Mimic. You may also be able to hear some rattling noises nearby. T??he chairs near the entrance, next to the 'N13' pole, seem to be a common spot.

There are many more potential prop disguises, such as ??a trash can, trolly, and a first aid kit. So, watch out for any abnormal objects and shoot them immediately after. Deal enough damage to eliminate the Mimic, and the Join?t Directors Keycard will now be yours for the taking.

How to fix the Joint Projects Director Keycard bug in Black Ops 6

Some players have encountered issues with the Mimic not spawning within Joint Projects. If this happens to you, you can load up your last checkpoint to hopefully refre?sh the mission. It's not the ideal fix, especially if it has been a while since your last checkpoint. However, it may be the only way to address the potential bug.

Since the room is relatively dark and filled with many objects, it's possible to miss the Mimic's location (??I did this more than enough times). Just keep a sharp eye on those shaking objects or reload the checkpoint to get a refresher.

Where to find Administration and Cognitive Research Keycards in BO6 Emergence

You must locate the other two Director Keycards to complete the rest of the Emergence mission in BO6. They can be found in the East and West Wings in the red and green ??buildings.

Cognitive Research Director Keycard location

Enter the Cognitive Research ?building and drain the Cognitive Research Pool. Use you?r Grappling Hook on the upper floor to reach the pool.

Jump inside the pool and swim toward the Mangler to locate a tube. Swim inside it to find the Drainage area. Before interacting with the computer, open the nearby door with the keypad. Use your blacklight to figure out the passcode. Now, go to the computer to begin ??the override process and pull the three switches. One will be right behind you, while the other is inside the room you just unlocked. The last switch will be on the left side, where you must use your Grapple Hook to reach it.

Return to the Mangler and defeat it to claim the Cogniti??ve Research Director Keycard.

Administration Director Keycard location

Travel to the? Administration building and co??llect four reports for the Director. You'll find them in these spots:

• Meeting room
• Break room
• Desk in the top-left corner
• Table in the center of the room
