Look, I'm a simple dude. I just want fun and cool stuff. And it looks like Overwatch 2 is getting just that with a Cowboy Bebop collaboration event. The event starts March 12 and features skins, emotes, and more from the space bounty hunter anime. Music from the series will be featured in-game as well. The below trailer is all it took for me to click the Install button for Overwatch 2 on my Battle.ne?t launcher for the ??first time in over a year.

I'll admit, I didn't see this coming. But I'm oh so glad it is. Cowboy Bebop is one of my favorite animes ever. Well, the original, of course, not the live-action Netflix thing. And while I never really considered an Overwatch collab with the series, it's act??ually...quite?? perfect.

Here are all the confirmed Cowboy Bebop Legendary Skins coming to Overwatch 2 in the collab:

After Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty received Lies of P-themed DLC back in September, now the puppet souls-like will reciprocate. Neowiz revealed today that a new free Wo Long-themed DLC pack will hit the game next week on February 13. Here ??is the pack in action which includes wea??pon and armor costume cosmetics.

The two Souls-like action RPG's are going to collide once more as Lies of P fans will get acc?ess to several pieces of cosmetic DLC as part of the free pack inclu?ding:

• Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive weapon
• Armor of the Honorable and Bandana of the Honorable costume

Also launching today is the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition which includes all the released Wo Long DLC including the Lies of P weapons that were released in September.

?It's always great to see two great games come together for a fun collab. It's a bit basic with it just being a single weapon cosmetic and an armor costume, but for free DLC I'll take what I can get these days.

Activision and the Call of Duty team dropped a sneak peek of an upcoming collaboration for COD:MW3 and Warzone Season 2. In a recreation of the signature The Walking Dead opening title scene, the teaser shows scenes from around COD's Verdansk map while playing The Walking Dead theme music. The collab will drop alongside Season 2 on February 7 and feature Rick and Michonne, a?ssumingly as new Operators.

Quite the lineup

The Call of Duty Operator lineup is getting pretty insane, right? Rick and Michonne are joining the ranks of Homelander, Kevin Durant, TimTheTatman, S?noop Dogg, Lara Croft, Spawn, 21 Savage, Skeletor, and even Lilith from Diablo 4. Oh, there's more, that just seemed like some of the crazier ones. When I first heard about these additions I thought it was insane. I mean let's be real it's still weird getting teamkilled by Nicki Minaj and then watching ?her go on to shoot pink tracer rounds on Terminal.

However, Rick and Michonne will probably fit in a bit more, at least in Call of Duty: MW3's new Warzone-li?ke Zombie mode. Rick better have a "CAAAAAAR?RRLLLL!" voice line or I am going to be disappointed.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone both enter Season 2 on February 7 ?on all? platforms.

After being revealed at the Las Vegas Final Fantasy Fest in July, and then detailed at the London Fan Fest in October, the Final Fantasy XVI crossover event is scheduled to hit the popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV in Early April. We've known the event was in the works for a while now, but this is the first time we're seeing an actual release timeframe. The event will launch with the current expansion, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, ahead of the release of the new one Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail.

Players will team up with Final Fantasy XVI protagonist Clive Rosfield in an exclusive event called The Path Infernal. The questline will task players to enlist the help of Clive to take on various Eikons from FF16. For doing so, players can receive unique rewards including Clive gl?amours and even a Torgal moun??t.

It's important to note that producer Naoki Yoshida made it clear that Early April is the current?? planned release for the collaboration event, and that it may change as things get a little closer.

The first three seasons will include Street Fighter 6 and Monster Hunter crossover collaborations

Capcom hosted a showcase all about their highly anticipated upcoming sci-fi team-based shooter. During the event, Capcom revealed its roadmap for the first three seasons of Exoprimal that includes upcoming content over the next few months. Perhaps the most exciting reveal is two separate crossover events with popular Capcom titles: Street Fighter 6 and Monster Hunter.

Months of content is already in the pipeline for Exoprimal

Season 1 will kick off two weeks after release, and Exoprimal will receive its first update with an all new PvE mode: Savage Gauntlet. This mode will r??otate tough weekly missions giving players a chance to test out their best loadouts in end-game missions. Rounding out Season 1 is ten new Alpha variant exosuits wielding unique weapons. This update will release on August 16.

In mid-October, Season 2 will add new missions, the Ocean Platform map, and even more exosuits. Street Fighter fans should look forward to Season 2 as it will feature a SF6 crossover collaboration. As part of the c??rossover, we will get new exosuits base?d on Ryu and Guile.

Finally, Season 3 will drop early next year featuring even more exosuits, a new Neo Triceratops boss fight, and a Monster Hunter crossover event.  No precise details were provided for this crossover, but we can assume there will be some new giant monsters from the Monster Hunter universe for us to beat up on.

Those looking to save the world from dinosaurs can do so soon. Exoprimal releases on July 14 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. PC and Xbox players can check out the game for free as part of Xbox Game Pass. The dinosaur-t??hemed game?? will launch with cross-platform functionality.

Collaboration coming in September

Publisher NEOWIZ has announced that it is collaborating with Koei Tecmo in a partnership that will see the former's incoming adventure Lies of P cross swords with the latter's semi-recent release Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The two Souls?like ti??tles will crossover in curious fashion this September.

Outside of noting the collaboration, neither publisher offered any information whatsoever as to what?? the hook-up will entail, with details expected at a later date. While both games feature challenging action-RPG combat, they could perhaps not be more diametrically opposed in regards to characters, settings, and style �Though both games host a typically heavy and somewhat downbeat mood.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, which launched in March of this year, sees a lone protagonist battle a bevy of demons and monsters from ancient Chinese folklore, set against the background of the Han Dynasty. Developed by Team Ninja, the adventure received critical praise across the board, earning a mighty 9/10 score from our own Chris Carter and selling over a mil??lion copies in its launch month.

Lies of P, a retelling of the Pinocchio fable, is currently turning heads thanks to a demo released on PC and console platforms last week. Developed by Round8 Studios, this Gothic tale has players guide young android, P, through a dismal, Belle-Epoque city, in search of answers to their own existence and on the run from a battalion of mechanized enemies. While feedback at this early stage has been a little divisive, Lies of P has great promise, and could prove t??o be one of the year's sleeper hits.

Lies of P launches this September on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a??vailable now on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms.

2K? Games, in association with The LEGO Company, released a? teaser trailer for its first game in its new collaboration partnership �The arcade racer based upon the timeless toy will receive its official reveal this Thursday, March 23.

The fun teaser for the teaser, which you can check out below, introduces us to Awesome News Network reporter Vikki Wheeler, who puts the brakes on the announcement trailer, telling viewers that they'll have to tune in on Thursday for the full reveal. Interestingly, there's a really obvious cut right before she says the name of the game, clearly a last-minute decision not to reveal the title just yet �though multiple rumors from a variety of sources suggest that the game may be named "LEGO 2K Drive".

Worryingly, I think I fancy Vikki Wheeler, but?? then I'm yet to have my morning coffee.

The new title is the first release in what is expected to be a multi-game partnership between LEGO and 2K Games, with the latter hoping to appeal to both younger and more casual audiences with a series of sports titles based around the block-building pastime. Given that 2K games owns numerous athletic licenses, I'm interested to see if there are plans on the table for LEGO NHL 2K, LEGO NBA 2K, or, best of all, LEGO WWE 2K.

The next Fortnite collab drops just in time for the Dead Space Remake

As one of the most popular games in the world, Fortnite is known for a whole host of different things, but its most famous feature is probably its huge variety of crossover events. They've teamed up with everyone from Star Wars to Ariana Grande, and now Fortnite is back with their Gaming Legends Series to collaborate with yet another iconic video game protagonist: Isaac Clarke of Dead Space fame. Clarke serves as the player character of all three Dead Space games, and is described as a "ship system specialist and necromorph slayer" by Fortnite's blog post. Yeah, that sounds about right to me.

Clarke is coming to Fortnite in the new Strange Transmissions Quest Pack, whic?h will be available in the Item Shop for $11.99. The pack will include the Isaac Clarke Outfit, the RIG Back Blind, the Plasma Cutter Pickaxe (which comes with a built-in Bench Upgrade Emote), and the Strange Transmissions Quests that can earn you up to 1,500 V-Bucks.

This Fortnite x Dead Space collaboration lands only four days before the long-awaited Dead Space Remake, which is officially out on Friday January 27, 2023. Now fa??ns will be able to get extra hyped-up by taking on the new Strange Transmissions quests, and I expect we'll be seeing a ton of Isaac Clarke's flying around Battle Royale Island soon enough.

Fall Guys has always had a great lineup of themed costumes, from Sonic to Ratchet & Clank to Portal. Their newest collaboration with yet another fan-favorite franchise is dropping January 5, and this time fans will get an opportunity to don skins from one of the most beloved animated series of recent memory: Invincible. Skins for Mark, Omni-Man, and Atom Eve will be available for purchase in the Fall Guys store in collaboration with Skybound Games, so don't be surprised if you see some new super-friends soaring through your matches soon. Of course, Fall Guys is a family frien??dly game, so we won't be seeing quite as much blood and gore as we're used to from these characters.

Amazon Prime's acclaimed animated series Invincible is based on a comic series of the same name, written by Walking Dead comic author Robert Kirkman. Season one was a massive success when it dropped in 2021, even spawning a series of popular memes, and while we know another season is supposed to drop sometime this year, it's anyone's guess as to when we can expect it. Some fans are hoping that this Fall Guys collab means we'll be ?getting an update soon, and I'm certainly in that boat myself.

Fall Guys has also seen a resurgence since it went free-to-play last year, and rightfully so. I returned to the game recently after not having touched it since 2020, and it's probably even more fun than I remember due to all the new stages and content that they've added. My backlog has been keeping me plenty busy as of late, but Fall Guys is one of those games I know I'll be coming back to when my schedule clears up a bit. Certainly as a fan of the Invincible series, it'll be worth logging on to ?see if I can't secure some of these new skins.

It's a real-life Fishbones!

Jinx was already one of the most well-loved and recognizable characters on the League of Legends roster, but after the release of Netflix's Arcane, her popularity has launched into the stratosphere. That kind of mainstream recognition usually means there are some awesome collabs on the way, which is definitely true in this case. This time around, Riot teamed up with Nerf to create a life-sized replica of Jinx's classic blaster known as Fishbones, which was also featured in Arcane, as fans will remember.

Jinx's Fishbones is available for pre-order now (pre-orders close January 1, 2023, and will be shipping on December 31, 2022. The gun is a gargantuan 35 inches long, and features jaws that open and close as you shoot. It holds 18 total darts, shooting out a three round burst every time you pull the trigger. Fishbones also comes with a Jinx-inspired stand and "display-worthy packaging" for those who want to show it off for everyone to see. The NERF LMTD League of Legends Jinx Fishbones blaster retails for $169.99, and is available for pre-order on Amazon or directly from Nerf.

The Jinx Fishbones collaboration is part of NERF LMTD, a " premium, special edition, fan-focused line from the Nerf brand brings you some of the most iconic items from movies, video games, and entertainment with premium features and packaging." Other franchises that have been honored with a Nerf collab include Star Wars, Halo, Star Trek, Aliens, and G.I. Joe, just to name a few.

This has seriously got to be one of the coolest gaming merchandise crossovers I think I've ever seen, and absolutely something I wish I had when I was a kid. ?I've only touched League of Legends once in my life (that's a whole story for another day), but the second Nerf releases something from a game I play, I might just have to splurge and trea?t my inner child.

The apocalypse never looked so stylish

If I know anything about gamers, it's that we love to show our love of gaming to others, and what better way to do that than to wear your favorite game right on your clothing?  If you happen to love Horizon: Forbidden West in particular, you're really in luck, because Guerrilla has teamed up with ASOS to create a brand new line of loungewear inspired by the game.  The various shirts, hoodies, and pants all feature bright prints with various iconography from Forbidden West, and they're the perfect statement piece for the fashionable gam??ers out there.

There are five different looks in total, including an all-over printed hoodie and jogger set, a long-sleeved mesh top, an over-sized printed t-shirt, a crewneck hoodie, and a brown co-ord hoodie and jogger set.  All of the pieces are unisex, which means anybody can achieve the cool, oversized loungewear look.  My personal favorite is the crewneck hoodie, which features comic panels inspired by Horizon: Forbidden West.  The all-over prints are a bit busy ??for my taste, but I would for sure get cozy in that brown set any day of the week.

The pieces range from £26 for the shirts to £76 for the co-ord set, but overall I'd say that's pretty affordable for this kind of product. I guess it is ASOS, after all.  Unfortunately, the Horizon x ASOS collab is only available to those in the EU, UK, Japan, and Asia regions, but for everyone else, I would put money down on people listing these on eBay (for? a higher price, but still).  At the very least, it's n??ice to look, and we can hope that they'll ship to the US in the future.

You know what awesome gaming clothing store does ship out here, though?  Insert Coin Clothing.  They've been a staple for gaming clothing ??for years, and their stuff is always amazing quality.
