Does your gamer cave have a very specific aesthetic centered around the golden age of arcades? Then Atari has your exact needs in mind with a range of printed circuit boards based on three of their classic titles. These titles are Black Widow (1982), Gravitar (1982), and Major Havoc (1983).

So, if you’re like me and ?that sort of comes close to matching what you’re looking for, you may wonder what these offer. No, these aren’t actually games. You can’t h??ook them into an old cabinet to replace your decades-old antique. These are just unpopulated circuit boards. They’re supposedly very authentic but slightly more modern, but that’s it.

Weirdly, the product listing describes them as “non-functional�while also saying, “can be used to replace damaged original boards by using the original parts from these boards.�So, like, I guess if? you want to painstakingly transplant all the chips and resistors from a real board, then this would work? Maybe. They apparently follow the exact schematics of the originals. I don't know why you'd do that. I'm just re??aching for a function here.

Pricey silicon

They’re apparently supposed to be used as wall decoration, and one side is printed with the marquee and a brief history of the game itself. That’s kind of a neat thing to hang on the wall. I personally have a marquee from an old Centipede bootleg.

However, they’re asking for $245 USD. That isn’t unreasonable for this sort of thing, but it’s just such a specific niche. I’m trying to think of the target demographic for these, and I can only think of retired Boomers who have a few arcade cabi??nets tucked away next to the TV they use specifical?ly to watch sports.

Personally, I’d probably just buy a broken PCB from a game that I like and commission an artist to?? paint on it for that money. Old PCBs aren’t hard to come by if you know where to look. Once these things broke, they’d go in a box for spare parts or just straight up land in the trash.

Premium merchandise makers First 4 Figures have opened pre-orders on two princely statues, depicting the likenesses of the iconic knights Siegward of Catarina and Siegmeyer of Catarina, as featured in FromSoftware's acclaimed fantasy adventure Dark Souls 3.

Cast in resin and standing a little over eight inche??s in height, the two statues feature stylized, chibi takes on the Catarinian nobles, known to players as the "Onion Knights" due to their bulbous helmets. The two statues see Siegward and Siegmeyer in personality-reflective poses, and feature fine detailing to their armor and bases, with atmospheric elements of dirt, grime, and battle damage.

Damn, it looks like the era of BRIDGET is set to continue �Not only has the Guilty Gear star made her GG Strive debut, appeared in some fun fan projects, AND received her own, real-life Bullet Yo-Yo, but merch maker Spiritale has now revealed a pro?totype wicked-looking figurine, currently in produ?ction.

The prototype captures Brisket in all of her glory, posed exactly as she is in her Guilty Gear ??Strive splash art. Rocking her big ol' shoes �Bullet Yo-Yo in one hand and haunted companion Roger in the either, our girl looks set and ready to embark upon her next Bridgetquest. The fixed-pose figurine looks very similar in quality and design to Kotobukiya's "Bishoujo" range, though Bridget is also sporting a nicely detailed base as she comes kick-kicking her way into the ne??xt battle.

Unfortunately, Spiratale has not revealed a price nor a release window for the Bridget figurine. For whatever it's worth, Spiratale's typical character figurines tend to stand at a 1/7 scale and usually run around the $200-$300 dollar mark. So the more hardcore fans among you might have to start saving up the pennies. To be clear, this price is pure speculation on my part, merely based on the company's previous releases. We'll be sure to give you a heads-up when Bridget is ready for ?pre-order.

The wallet-troubling merchandisers over at Good Smile Co. have opened pre-orders on the next gaming superstar joining its enormous range of ridiculously adorable Nendoroid figurines �And this time around, it's a true icon of the medium, with the coming of Street Fighter legend Chun-Li!

As with all Nendoroid releases, Chun-Li stands a dinky 100mm in height, (that's just under four inches), and comes complete with a stand an??d several faceplates and accessories �allowing fans to? stage The Strongest Woman in The World in all manner of dynamic poses. The additional Faceplates include a business face, a cute smile, and even a tearful expression, though why you'd use that is beyond me. Accessories include alternate hands, a Kikoken fireball, and Chunner's famous Lightning Legs kick!

If you'd like your own pocket-sized Chun-Li to stand guard over your desk, then you can pre-order her right now over at the official Good Smile Co. store and other toy retailers. Nendoroid Chun-Li retails for ¥8,400, (or roughly $58 USD), not including shipping, handling, or any potential customs charges. Chun-Li is expected to ship in the summer of 2023. Sexual tension: Now in chibi form

Good Smile Co. has opened pre-orders on its second Nendoroid figure pulled from Supergiant Games' excellent roguelite, Hades �Joining the huge collection of dinky PVC pop-culture characters is our first boss, the guardian of Tartarus, and Zagreus' rival in both love and war, Megaera.

Megaera stands a miniature 100mm in height (just under four inches) and is packed out with the posing power that comes as standard with the Nendoroid range. The harsh-whisperin' fury sister comes complete with a selection of alternate hands and faceplates, includin??g her trademark RBF and even a rarely-seen smile. Of course, Meg would not be Meg without her trusty whip, though she can also be posed with her Skull Earring Keepsake or her cute, but surprisingly powerful, Battie Companion.

The Hades Megaera Nendoroid is available to pre-order now over at the Good Smile Co. website and other collectible retailers. Meg retails for ¥8,500, (or roughly $58 USD), not including shipping or any potential customs charges. The fury sister will ship in the summer of 2023. Previous Hades Nendoroids Zagreus ??and Thanatos are available now. I'm not really a Nendo collector, but if they release all three Fury Sisters t??hen I'll definitely pick the trio up.

Merchandising mayhem will reign in just a few short days from now, as The Pokémon Company opens the doors of the wildly popular retail outlet The Pokemon Center London. I??n hopes of avoiding the utter chaos of 2019's event, the outlet has now opened its timeslot reservation service for interested parties.

If you are looking to visit The Pokémon Center London next week, then head on over to the reservation website right now and book your attendance slot. You'll need to know what day and time you will arrive, as well as how many people will be in your group. This somewhat strict system is a necessity, given that the previous pop-up store appearance drew daily queues of over five hours, with over 30,000 customers walking the floor in a mere five days.

The new Pokémon Center London is being established in conjunction with the Pokémon World Championships, which are being held at London's ExCel Centre between August 17-21. For this year's event, the center exclusives are cute plushies of Pikachu and Roserade in Beefeater outfits, (the official uniforms of the guards at the Tower of London). If you ever wanted to give off the lascivious odor of the pack of fucking maniacs that make up the Guilty Gear Strive roster, then fragrance company Fairytail??? Parfum has you covered, from head to toe, in fact.

The cologne and perfume company has released a new line of eau de parfum products based upon the sexy, sexy stars of the Arc System Works fighter. The range launches with four specific characters: the regal and handsome Ky Kiske, the mysterious world-eater Ramlethal Valentine, super-cute Hallowee?nie Jack-O Valentine, and hard??-edged merc Sol Badguy, who looks like he hasn't seen a shower in a year.

While the men's fragrances are seeing a relaunch, (now in larger 50ml bottles) the two ladies are seeing their respective debuts in the world of fragrance. These are not even Fairytail Parfum's first dalliance with the world of Guilty Gear, as the company has previously released perfumes based on Dizzy and Elphelt Valentine �two beloved characters who are yet to make their roster appearance in Guilty Gear Strive (which may?? be why they have been replaced by Ram and Jack-O in this range).

These are the new fragrance builds, as reported by the fine folk of Siliconera.

The Pokémon Company has announced that its "pop-up" retail outlet The Pokémon Center will be returning to London nex??t month, offering UK visitors the opportunity to once again roll out ??the dough for a gaggle of exclusive, limited-time merchandise themed around the popular gaming brand.

Pokémon Center London made its debut back in the fall of 2019, where it notoriously drew ridiculous queues of up to five hours as eager fans stood in line to buy Pikachu dressed as a little city gent. The furor led to all sorts of stock shortages and da??ily rule changes for the retailer, as it struggled to cope with the unending pressure from both Londoners and visitors traveling to the capital specifically for the cause. In total, some 30,000 customers shopped at the store within its four-week opening pe??riod.

The store was set to return in 2020 but was postponed?? due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Supergiant's fantastic action-RPG Hades is custom designed for merchandise, thanks to its attractive visuals, cool aesthetic style, strong colors, and varied cast of memorable characters. Bafflingly, however, Hades gear has been incredibl??y hard to come b?y, with nary an art book or pair of Zubaz pants in sight.

Enter merch-makers Fangamer, who has finally decided, two years after release, to bless fans of Zagreus and his Hades brethren with a fu??n line of items styled after the game's underworld denizens. While the full line is yet to be revealed, a teaser image appears to include long and short-sleeved shirts, art prints, and a badge set featuring Nyx, Thanatos, Megaera, and, of course, Zagreus himself. No Artemis or Tis, but it's fin?e.

Perhaps best of all, the image features ??plush dolls of two of The House of Hades' most important employees: three-headed, bone-munching Good Boy Cerberus, and the lovely, hardworking, and ever-fangirling housemaid, Dusa. Hopefully, the full range will include further shirt designs and/or other cool gubbins, but I'm still stunned by the possibility that Hades is yet to receive a lavish, hardcover art book �which seems an absolute given for such a striking-looking release. Spine-busting collectible coming from Apex Toys

Just yesterday, we reported on Storm Collectibles' upcoming premium figure of Guilty Gear badguy... erm... Sol Badguy. But what if you aren't all about Sol, what if you're all about the mischievous but thoroughly loveable Jack-O?? Valentine? Well, fret not, as Apex Toys has also announced that the Halloween lovin' gal is getting her own figure at some point in the near future.

As revealed during WonFest 2022, (and reported by Siliconera), the new Jack-O figure is scaled at 1/9, which translates to roughly eight-to-nine inches in height... or at least she would, if she were standing upright. Y'see, Apex Toys has teased the new figure with a suspiciously familiar silhouette, suggesting that our girl will be sporting her back-breaking, censor-worrying, meme-creating, crouch pose �the very same pose that took the internet by storm last year in the form of the "Jack-O Challenge."

Apex Toys did not release any other info in regards to the new Jack-O pose figure, so we don't know the release window, price, or pre-order dates. But given that we don't even get to see an unpainted prototype, or ev?en any new concept art, we are probably still a long way out from having to explain to our friends and relatives why the centerpiece of our lounge is a young woman in a bodysuit and a Halloween mask is essentially... well...? "presenting."

The weekend's San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) brought with it a wide variety of plastic fantastics, as various merch-makers showed off tabletops full of figurines, statues, and other paraphernalia related to some of the biggest and most popular global gaming brands. Storm Collectibles was in attendance, shining a spotlight on various upcoming Street Fighter and Darkstalkers figures for its partner, Capcom.

But Guilty Gear fans did not go away empty-handed, as Storm also brought with them the completed prototype of GG's hard-edged and hard-edgy poster boy Sol Badguy. The new premium figure sees the badass bounty hunter ready to lay the smack down on his next opponent, armed with his faithful and ferocious blade, Outrage MkII. The Sol Badguy figure features a finely sculpted, fully poseable body and comes complete with five pairs of in??terchangeable hands, three head sculpts, and an optional flame effect to punctuate his more dynami??c poses.

Storm, curiously, has not listed the height of the new figure, but Sol Badguy is listed in their 1/12 scale category, so we can probably expect him to stand between 10-to-12 inches. Retailing for a very princely $95 (not including shipping), pre-orders for Sol are live over on the official Storm Collectibles website, ahead of his expected? release window of early 2023 �which is quite a fast turnaround for a modern collectible.

Smol Juri coming to a desk near me soon

San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2022 is underway, bringing with it a huge selection of video games, movie memorabilia, celebrity signings, exclusive toys, and cosplay �Somewhere in the middle of all of that, there are even some comics. Also in attendance this week is publisher Capcom, which is taking the opportunity to shine a new spotlight on its upcoming fighting sequel, Street Fighter 6.

The attractive Capcom booth has demo booths in which it is showing off a build of the recently revealed fighter. The booth is bedecked in slick graffiti stylings, reflecting the hip-hop-infused visual style of the long-running franchise's next entry. The centerpiece is a cool mural of SF6 poster boy Luke, who is looking a helluva lot cooler splashed on the wall than he does busting out his dopey dance maneuvers. Some exclusive skateboards featuring SF6's initial four characters complete the wy?ld st?yle diorama.

Over in the memorabilia sections, there are a variety of toys, figures, statues, and other collectibles being presented by a variety of merch makers. In regards to Street Fighter toys, Storm Collectibles has brought along painted prototypes of some of its upcoming Capcom action figures. These include models of badass boxer Balrog, Korean assassin Juri, and an unfinished prototype of Darkstalkers' Morrigan.

Also on display at SDCC is a magnificent "life-size" bust of The Strongest Woman in the World, Chun-Li. Sculpted by premium statue maker PCS and featuring silicone skin, punched hair, and glass eyes, it seems likely that this is a prototype of what will be an incredibly expensive retail release.

Long-time Street Fighter associates UDON are also at SDCC, where they are shilling a selection of SF comics, along with exclusive editions of the Street Fighter Swimsuit Special featuring exclusive SDCC cover art. The retailer also has several cool shirts on the rack, featuring legendary characters such as Sagat, Chun-Li, Alex, and... erm... Amaterasu. Well, I suppose that they are in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

The PVC statue stands just under 11 inches in height and sees the Umbrella Corps' most devastating asset depicted in all of his hideous, gory glory. A mess of torn leather, twisted sinew, melted flesh, and bin bag clothing, JustGeek's new statue hopes to disgust as much as it bemuses, with attention paid to every crease, fold, and tear in both Nemesis' clothing and hi?s face. And as if his huge frame wasn't enough to get your inner Jil?l running, yer boy is equipped with his wall-shattering rocket launcher. Kaboom.

Physical 'odditions' are also on the way

Publisher Microids and developer Oddworld Inhabitants have announced that 2021 sequel Oddworld: Soulstorm is preparing to bring its quirky adventure and grim fantasy world to the Nintendo Switch platform in the form of Oddworld: Soulstorm Odditimized Edition.

Already available on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms, Oddworld: Soulstorm is the sequel to 2014's Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty and is itself a "reimagining" of the 1998 release Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. The side-scrolling stealth adventure tells the story of Mudokan Abe as he once again risks life and limb to protect the sanctity of his people from armies of greedy, capitalist overlords. Outnumbered and outgunned, Abe must use cunning, guile, scaven??????????????????????????ged goods, and his fellow escapees in order ??to turn fortune in his favor, lest his race is wiped out by the miserable Glukkons.

In addition to the Nintendo Switch port news, Microids also revealed two physical "odditions" that are also in production. A standard Limited Oddition includes a physical boxed copy of Oddworld: Soulstorm, three art prints, and a metal carry case that holds up to 24 Switch cartridges??. For die-hard fans, the Collector's Oddition includes the aforementioned items, but also adds a hardcover art book, a keychain, sticker sheet, and a figurine of our hero in full-on tiptoe mode.

Pre-order customers will also receive a digital soundtrack as well as a digital version of the art book. Following on from the creative success of its previous LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System kit, The LEGO Company has released pictures of its next blocktastic console throwback, the LEGO Atari 2600, which will launch on August 1 at ?the typically princ??ely price of $239.99.

"The Atari 2600 was one o?f the most memorable gifts I got as a kid," writes LEGO designer Chris McVeigh in a press? release. "This is why it’s been such an incredible experience to bring two icons together, Atari and Lego, in this awesome set. We hope that building this classic console takes you back to those halcyon days when a handful of pixels meant a world of adventure."

The LEGO Atari 2600 (Build number #10306) features a grand total of 2,532 bricks and consists of a replica of the 1977 home console, alongside its famous one-button joystick, a small stack of game cartridges (complete with stacking tower), and, as a neat touch, additional builds based on classic hits Asteroid, Centipede, and Adventure, the latter of which you might remember from the interminable third act of Steven Spielberg's disasterpiece, Ready Player One.

But that's not all, as flipping up the console body will reveal a cute littl?e diorama of a 1980s video game fan enjoying some 2600 action in a retro-themed apartment. This is a really neatly nostalgic release from The LEGO Company, with the natural hard-edged design of the 2600 console, its cartridges, and even its graphics fitting suitably within LEGO's brick-based style. The finished console sits just under 13 inches wide, three inches tall, and nine inches deep.

Honestly, I'd take this over an Atari VCS any day.

Earn rewards and loyalty points for playing games

Brand loyalty is getting more rewarding. Sony has rev??ealed it's launching a new loyalty program called PlayStation Stars, rewarding players ?for playing games and completing various activities.

In a new PlayStation blog, Sony VP of network advertising, loyalty, and licensed merchandise Grace Chen describes what's in store for the program. While it doesn't have an exact la?unch date just yet, the plan is for PlayStation Stars to reward players for doing things in their games.

One example is completing a campaign by winning a tournament. Another might require earnin?g a specific trophy, or being the first person to Platinum a game in your time zone. Others might just be check-in campaigns, only asking you to play the game.

PlayStation Stars members can earn loyalty points, which can be redeemed for prizes like PSN wallet funds a?nd PlayStation products. PS Plus members enrolled in Stars also automatically earn points.

Digital goodies

Also part of the PlayStation Stars loyalty program is another type of reward: digital collectibles. These collectibles will be "digital representations of things that PlayStation fans enjoy," including figurines of characters and?? "cherished devices" from Sony's history. Collectibles will have different ra?rities to earn, and Sony says there will "always be a new collectible to earn."

Now, if digital collectibles made you tug at your collar a bit, Sony has clarified: these aren't non-fungible tokens, or NFTs.

"It’s definitely not NFTs. Definitely not," Chen told the Washington Post in an interview. "You can’t trade them or sell them. It is not leveraging any blockchain technologies and definitely not NFTs.??"

So, we narrowly avoided that. Sounds like the collectibles?? are neat little cosmetics for bragging rights. PlayStation Stars is currently planned to roll out to various regions later this year.

It has been 20 years since everybody's favorite Half-Genie Hero sashayed her way onto the Game Boy Color and into our hearts. From Pirate's Curses, to Risky's Revenges and even Seven Sirens, there's no ??denying that the magical gal and her fellow Scuttle Island denizens rank among the most likable, cheerful, and enduring characters of modern gaming.

To celebrate her 20th anniversary, boutique outlet Limited Run Games has opened pre-orders on this delightful statue. The figurine stands around 10 inches tall, (including the base), and spotlights shapeshifting adventurer in her classic genie garb and posed coyly?????????????????????????? at the viewer. The sun is shining, the weekend is just around the corner, and Good Smile Company has opened pre-orders on this ridiculously adorable Nendoroid of Guilty Gear's mysterious, straight-faced apocalypse lover, Ramlethal V?alentine.

Like so many of her compadres in the mammoth Nendoroid range, (though only the second pulled from Arc System Works' anime fi??ght franchise), Ramlethal stands a dinky four inches in height, (and most of that is her big ol' hat), and is authentically bedecked in her bladed coat and hot pants combo. Packaged with Ram?lethal are Lucifero and her semi-sentient greatswords, an alternate set of arms, and an alternate face plate �so you can have grumpy or grump-and-shouting. Clear stands allow Ramlethal and her swords to defy gravity, giving the impression that they are floating in place. Nice touch.

So, if you want a teeny world-eater of your very own, then the Ramlethal Valentine Nendoroid is available to pre-order now over at the Good Smile Co. online store. Warning: Statue is Top Heavy

Yesterday saw Arc System Works make a series of announcements pertaining to its flash fight franchise Guilty Gear. In addition to the news that a huge, gameplay-changing update is headed to Guilty Gear Strive for the game's one-year anniversary, the stream also took the time to talk about some cool upcoming toys, figurines, and statues for the Guilty Gear die-hard's bookshelf.

Leading the pack was the announcement of a massive 1/6 scale Guilty Gear statue of the wandering samurai Baiken. Currently in the works at Union Creative, the statue is s?et to be pretty damn huge, in more ways than one, and (according to the image used) will likely depict the buxom warrior in the thick of the fight �rising to her feet to deal another mighty blow. Given the recent pricing of 1/6 statues, it is very likely that Baiken will retail for a princely sum. But I'mma start saving anyway.

For those who prefer their fighters a little more on the happy-go-lucky side, Broccoli offered up its first painted prototype of this utterly delightful May figurine. Rocking her GG Strive hoodie and accompanied by her trusty anchor, the seafaring adventurer will be made available to pre-order on June 6, although no price was announced. Stay tuned to the official Broccoli Twitter for more details on this gorgeous piece.

Next up, premium merch maker Prime 1 Studio will be making figurines of two very popular GG veterans, Dizzy and Ramlethal. These figurines are not quite the same scale as yer gal Baiken, and will stand roughly nine inches tall �a pinch higher than your average Kotobukiya model. Again, there were no prototype images available, but perhaps the concept art will give us a sneak glimpse at the posing Prime 1 will be going for. Prime 1 Studio is a pre??m??ium retailer, so prepare your wallet, Dizzy fans.

Meanwhile, Storm Collectibles is working on a more typical action figure for Guilty Gear poster boy and card-carrying scene kid Sol Badguy. As you can see from the image below, Sol looks more to be an action figure of the common variety, complete with full articulation and several accessories. Storm has done an excellent job in capturing the distinct chunky proportions of a typical GG character model here.

These are unlikely to be all of the Guilty Gear-related merch headed to hobby stores over the coming year, especially as the title gathers speed heading into its second season. It's pretty mind-blowing to see that Baiken, of all the fighting game characters, is in line for the 1/6 statue ?treatment, but I'm not complaining, obviously.

Good Smile Company's range of pint-sized Nendoroid figures are well known for their wholesome adorability... But I think this latest effort takes things to a whole new level of cuteness. The intrepid Aloy �protagonist of Guerrilla Games' acclaimed Horizon f?ranchise �is taking aim at your heart and wallet.

Like the many Nendoroid releases before her, Aloy stands a dinky four inches in height and comes sculpted ?in high-quality painted PVC plastic. Aloy comes packaged with three faceplates: a sweet grin, a little grumpy roar, and a winking/aiming expression. Aloy comes loaded for bear with her trusty spear, bow & arrow, and even a power-enhancing Focus segment. Are you bored of sleeping? If so, then have I got the bedroom decoration for you. Merchandiser Numskull Games has revealed images of its "Bubble Head Nurse" statue, the first in a new line of terrifying figurines styled after the nightmarish creatures of Konami's horror classic Silent Hill 2.

Officially licensed by Konami and crafted by the Numskull Designs team, the sinister/sexy healthcare assistant stands around nine inches in height and is dynamically posed in all of her corridor-stalking glory. The Nurse is ??accompanied by a ramshackle surgical trolley and is ready to dish out some blunt force trauma with her trusty, rusty pipe. The statue has been polished with hand-painted features in order to ensure that the little details stand out. When they say there is beauty in chaos... it's her.

If you fancy inviting the Bubble Head Nurse home to your mantlepiece, then you'll be pleased to hear that pre-orders for the Silent Hill 2 statue are now live over at the Numskull website and its partnered retailers. Sega and Numskull Designs have opened pre-orders on a brand new statue, styled after Ryo Hazuki, the denim-rockin', forklift-drivin', nose-bustin' protagonist of iconic RPG series Shenmue.

The statue stands 10 inches in height and depicts Mr. Hazuki during the famous Heartbeats bar fight sequence from th??e 1999 Sega Dreamcast classic. Poised atop the remnants of a smashed table, Ryo is set to leap into action against the next barrage of ?layabouts foolish enough to stand in the way of his cross-country quest for vengeance. Amusing placement of a toppled barstool almost makes it look like yer boy is skating into battle. Other details include the famous glass of milk and Hazuki's iconic bomber jacket

If you're a Shenmue aficionado and fancy having Ryo rocking up on your mantelpiece, then pre-orders are open now at various retail outlets. It has been a while since we last heard from the LEGO Super Mario line, but today sees the reveal of not one, not two, but t??hree brand new sets featuring Princess Peach. The fair princess will be the next character in line to receive an electronic, interactive figurine �following on from the Super Mario Bros. themselves.

The first LEGO Super Mario Princess Peach set is the "Adventures with Peach Starter Course" (71408). This 354-piece set includes the LEGO Peach figure, along with a basic course that includes a Start Pipe, a Goal Pole, a swing set, a "Lava Bubble" challenge, a Flying Question Block, and two (very cool) figurines of Yellow Toad and Koopa Kid Lemmy. The starter set will retail for around $60 USD and is the key purchase for? those wanting the LEGO Peach interactive figurine.

The second new set is the "Cat Peach Suit and Frozen Tower Expansion" (71407). This 494-piece kit includes a super cute cat-suit skin for the LEGO Peach figurine as well as a diorama of the Frozen Tower. Featu??res include an Ice Block, Yellow Fruit, POW Block, and LEGO figures of Toad, irritating sorcerer Kamek, and the rarely seen Cat Goomba. The Cat Peach Suit set will retail for around $80 and i??s designed for use alongside previous LEGO Super Mario starter kits.

Finally, the centerpiece of this collection is the "Peach's Castle Expansion Set" (71408). This 1216-piece set consists of a detailed diorama of Peach's castle, which includes a reversible throne room, a Time Block, and five unique LEGO character figures �including Toadette, Bob-omb, Goomba, Ludwig von Koopa, and the big bad himself, Bowser. Master chronokeeper Timex has teamed with old-school publisher Taito to release a new watch featuring the timeless style of the latter's 1978 arcade smash Space Invaders. The funky-looking fashion item is consid??ered a vital component in the prevention of three small bases from being overrun by waves of cute, pixelated extra-terrestrials... Well, it tells the time at any rate.

The Timex x Space Invaders watch is based on Timex's retro-chic T-80 model, and boasts a stainless steel bracelet, an Indiglo backlight screen, and an exclusive T-80 lens �featuring a slick black and red Space Invaders design. The watch features typical T-80 functions inc??luding a ch??ronograph, timer, and alarm, alerting you to its presence with classic sounds pulled from the groundbreaking arcade phenomenon that didn't cause the ¥100 coin to go out of circulation whatsoever.

We all love Hades, right? Of course we do, we're not monsters. But I'm sure you'd agree that for such a cool-looking, stylish game, packed with the hottest cast this side of Asphodel, there is a shocking lack of available merch �Where the hell is my plush Artemis? Still, Good Smile Company is trying to get the boulder rolling, opening pre-orders o?n a new Nendoroid of Hades' swoonsville protagonist, Zagreus.

As is typical of the Nendoroid line, the trouble-cau?sing Prince of the Underworld stands a dinky four-inches high, and will also come complete with a selection of fun accessories �i?ncluding a Bloodstone cast, his trusty Blade of Stygius, his Captain America-esque Shield of Aegis, and a little bottle of nectar to offer Dusa, Than, Nyx, or Good Boy Cerbereus. Zagreus comes packaged with a base, weapon stands, and alternate faceplates, seemingly depicting "grin" and "rogueish grin".

If you fancy the bad boy (who doesn't?) for yourself, then you'll be pleased to know that pre-orders are now live over at the Good Smile Co. website. The Zagreus Nendoroid retails for ¥5,500 (or roughly $55 USD) and is expected to ship toward the very end o??f 2022. He's almost a year away! G?ood Smile Co. will close pre-orders on March 9, so you still have over a month to get your name on the list.

Kotobukiya has released the first images of the first King of Fighters figurine to join its long-running Bishoujo line �As we have previously reported, fiery kunoichi Mai Shiranui will be the first in a series of figurines based on SNK's legendary fighting game The King of Fighters '98: The Slugfest.

As you can see from this first painted prototype, the beloved ninja gal is looking mighty fine, resplendent in her sculpted form. Like all of the figures in Kotobukiya's Bishoujo line, Ms. Shiranui is a 1/7 scale figure and is expected to stand in the region of about? seven to eight inches tall. As is always the case with this line, the figurine is based on original artwork drawn by the fantastic artist Shunya Yama??shita.

It was always worth putting good money on the possibility that Mai would be first in the new sub-series �She's easily one of SNK's most popular characters ever, if not the most popular. Surprisingly, however, the second figure will not be Athena Asamiya, or Blue Mary, or even Chizuru Kagura. No, the second figure will be a feminized Terry Bogard, much like the character that appeared in SNK Tag Team Heroines. You can check out the preliminary artwork for our boy... umm... girl, right here.

Kotobukiya's Bishoujo Mai Shiranui is expected to be available for ??pre-order soon, with the figurine launching in late-2022. If recent Bishoujo release trends are to be followed, then we can expect her to retail some??where in the region of $100�20.

Gotta build fast

It's the Blue Blur's turn to get brought to life in Lego form. Lego has announced an Ideas set for Sonic the Hedgehog, with the speedster, his nemesis, and t??he Green Hill Zone in a buildable set, going live on Jan. 1, 2022.

For the price of $69.99, the set comes together as a representation of the cl?assic, retro Sonic the Hedgehog experience. That includes the giant loop in the center, palm tree, and of course, rings. Little TV boxes hous?e the power-ups, and the seven Chaos Emeralds can sit on a little stand.

Sonic isn't alone either, as the Green Hill Zone Lego set comes with Sonic nemesis Dr. Eggman and his Eggmobile, as well as some ambient?? enemies to add to the?? look and feel of the zone. The set measures 7 inches high and 14 inches wide, and can be set up as a kind of display piece as well.

This came about thanks to a concept submitted a while ago by Sonic fan Viv Grannel to the Lego Ideas initiative. It's not Sonic's first time being put into Lego form, as the speedy hedgehog appeared as part of Lego Dimensions as well. But this set does bring Sonic and his world to Lego life in a ??v??ery nostalgic display.

It's important to note this isn't an interactive set, or not in the way that the Lego Super Mario sets are at least. You can certainly play-act your Sonic adventures to your heart's content, but it won?'t have the same blend of video game and Lego set that the Mar??io kit does.

It does, however, look like a wonderful display piece. The way it lays out like a diorama, and all the retro-style bricks bringing the look and feel of the Green Hill Zone to life, makes this set look like a really appealing display?? piece. If you want to adorn your mantle with?? some Lego Sonic goodness, it will go live on Jan. 1, 2022.
