Boss Rush is a new Adventure game mode added with Remnant 2's The Dark Horizon DLC, and it comes with a set of rewards that will be quite useful to anyone looking for more? loot. Here's everything you need to know about them.

All Boss Rush in Remnant 2

Boss Rush features numerous rewards for the successful completion of a run, ranging from unique stuff only found in this mode to items you never obtained during the main game. That's right: the rewards are totally random, and you'll tend to get ones you don't already own. There are many, many items to be found in Remnant 2, so don't be surpris??ed if your friend potentally gets different rewards from you, every run.

One last thing to note is that your rewards are directly tied to your progress. The further you go in a Boss Rush, the more you'll get at the end, with a total victory rewarding the most trinkets. Also, while I'm not certain about this, I've only obtained accessory rewards at the end of my Boss Rush runs, not weapons or armor sets, but it may be possible with further playthroughs. You'll gain ??a slew of experience and minor materials while running Boss Rush, making it a great mode for general farming in Remnant 2. What you ?gain here will also depend on how far you progress.

What is Boss Rush in Remnant 2?

Despite the name, Boss Rush is a Rogue-like mode that has you facing off across all of Remnant 2's tilesets at random, with several bosses sprinkled in the middle of them. There are three versions of this mode, with each ve??rsion escalating the challenge difficulty, the number of 'floors' you need to clear, and the number of bosses you need to face.

In the hardest variety of Boss Rush, you will have to face all of Remnant 2's bosses and win on the first try, or you'll need to begin anew if you fail. You will always face a boss at the end of each floor, and the one you get will be random, though the tileset you get before reaching the boss does influence which one you'll face (Fey Kingdom tiles??et can be any of ??the Fey bosses, like The Red Prince, for example).

The Rogue-like ?aspect of Boss Rush places nodes on your map that will allow you to choose various buffs to aid your progress if you interact with them. Some of these buffs can be stacked, allowing for profound builds that allow you to breeze through the mode at times. I personally favor stacking Damage Reduction? to the sky using these nodes because no amount of damage will stop a random stray from a boss from one-shotting you. If that happens, your run is over.

Torn Banner Studios, the team behind Chivalry 2, announced the launch of No More Room in Hell 2 during The Game Awards' Summer Game Fest 2024, a sequel to its 2011 Source mod. Originating from a Half-Life 2 mod, the original No More Room in Hell became its?? own game in 2011, ?and the sequel is arriving this Halloween.

No More Room in Hell 2 is an eight-player co-op horror game featuring permadeath mechanics, where you'll enter its world and search for your friends while surviving in its brutal environment. As you search for resources and your friends, you'll constantly fight hordes of zombies on y??our heels to end your run. Once they take you out, your character's death is permanent, at least until the round's end.

As highlighted during the Summer Game Fest, No More Room in Hell 2 will launch on PC in Early Access on Halloween 2024 via Steam and the Epic Games storefront. It's unknown how long it'll stay in Early Access; we'll likely find more information about this after its initial release later th??is year.

A Friday double-delay

Ubisoft has announced that two of its upcoming games are getting pushed back a bit. Rainbow Six Extraction is now targeting January 2022, while extreme sports sim Riders Republic has moved from September 2 to October 28.

In a statement on Rainbow Six Extraction's delay, the team says it is embracing an opportunity to take additional time to bring its vision for Extraction to life.

"We are confident that this will ensure Rainbow Six Extraction is the immers??ive, cooperative, and thrilling experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play," reads the news post. "We look forward to sharing more with you very soon!"

On the Riders Republic side, the team there says its delay is to ensure it can deliver the best game for all players. "This will give us more time to fine tune the experience and give you another chance to jump in before launch and provide feedback," the statem??ent says. "We'll have more to share soon, so stay tuned!"

Riders Republic is also set to host a beta sometime in the future, with sign-ups still live on the Riders Republic site right now. The extreme sports sim from Ubisoft had already experienced a delay, bumping it from February of this year to later on. This new date is only a little bit later though, so those holding out?? for some sports action won't have to wait too long.

Rainbow Six Extraction's delay pushes it out into the next year though. The game's gone through a number of developments, including a name change, and it's also taking the "breach-and-clear" world of Rainbow Six Siege into the co-op shooter realm. It certainly looked interesting to me when it was shown off during t?his year's Ubisoft Forward stream, so hopeful??ly the extra time can help solidify what the team?'s aiming to do.
