There's tons of content in Waframe's 1999 update, but its biggest new mode is undoubtedly the PvPvE Faceoff mode. However, this mode has had a mixed reception in the Warframe community.

Before we dive into what's going on, take a look at all the new modes added in, whether Faceoff is worth running for Conclave standing, and how to start dating. Now, keep reading to learn everything you'll need to know about what folks think of the new Faceoff mode in Warframe.

What's going on with Faceoff in Warframe

//www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/1hf94yj/everything_about_faceoff_feels_bad/

In general, Warframe players really appreciate a new way to earn Conclave standing, and the PvPvE approach with Faceoff feels, to many, like a better fit for Warframe than did the game's now-dead suite of PvP modes, but t??hat doesn't mean Faceoff's current state is perfect.

Gamers have a variety of issues with Faceoff, but some are likely bugs or? simply unintentional, not design that needs to be tweaked. This includes the biggest problem with Faceoff right now: the health and general tankin??ess of Assassination mobs. In short, they're too spongy.

Another similar issue is matchmaking. Currently, queuing i??nto the mod?e can take a while, and every match begins with up to a few minutes of waiting around for it to start. Plus, the mode is currently plagued by disconnections, host migrations, and other problems of that nature.

That sai?d, there are a number of other issues players are having with Faceoff that aren't?? obvious glitches or unintended interactions. Here are some of the top complaints:

  • Too much RNG for a competitive mode: some objectives require you to randomly drop items from enemies or get enough enemies to spawn nearby, and this makes for a very unfair feeling experience when those things don't go your way but do for the other team.
  • Conclave standing rewards for playing Faceoff are way too low. Missions for other syndicates can award you 9,000 standing or more in a single match when Faceoff is capped at 3,000. Plus, you only get 1,500 standing if you don't manage to win, which isn't always guaranteed.
  • The other team disconnecting means you'll get worse rewards for completing the mission â€?the same rewards you get for playing the squad vs AI version of Faceoff. If you're playing Faceoff for standing, that means you won't get any standing at all for finishing the mission.

This isn't a comprehensive list of every problem people have with Faceoff, but these are some of t?he biggest ones right now. Wh?ile there are many complaints out there, many are also giving their take on ways Digital Extremes can improve the overall Faceoff experience.

How Faceoff in Warframe could get a lot better

//www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/1hi0kli/actual_real_feedback_on_faceoff_that_isnt_just/

Once the defe??nses of Assassination mobs gets adjusted and a few matchmaking upgrades are implemented, players still have a ton of ide?as on how to make Faceoff itself better:

  • Mirror spawns, modifiers on enemies, and objective locations for both teams. Then, matches won't feel one-sided when a particular team gets blessed with good RNG and the other doesn't, forcing one a loss and guaranteeing one a win â€?assuming the losers don't quit.
  • Increase standing rewards by at least 50-100% to keep pace with standing rewards from other syndicate missions. Even 3,000 standing for a loss and 6,000 standing for a win wouldn't be an especially large amount to earn in a single match when it comes to Warframe missions.
  • If a team disconnects or quits, allow the remaining team to earn the same rewards they would have initially. This means that instead of a team getting punished for staying in a match, they'll get rewarded with a free win, instead of getting their time wasted.

Others suggest making the buffs and debuffs you can find more relevant, making objective indicators clearer, and better explaining how all the various mechanics of the mode work in-game. But it's still early days for the 1999 update, so many? are still getting their thoughts together.

It seems inevitable Digital Extremes will make changes to the mode, once the developers get back from Christmas vacation, but it remains to be seen exactly what's going to change. For that, we'll all have to wait and find out. For now, though, you may want to hold off gri?nding Faceoff.

One of the most surprising additions to Warframe: 1999 ?is the Backroom, a brand-new take on player housing that gives players their own apartment to decorate. However, you're going to need quite a few different decorations to furnish the Backroom fully, so where can you get those?

Before we even get into decorations, make sure you learn everything you need to know about the Backroom and other important 1999 additions like the calendar system and all the new modes added. If you're ready to decorate, read on to learn where you ca??n get the best decorations.

What to know about decorations in Warframe

Firstly, the Backroom has its own unique 1999 style, and since new decorations haven't been added with the 1999 update, there isn't a series of decorations that perfectly match the Backroom. Also, even i????f you remove the built-in furnishings of the Backroom, a few will still be left behind.

For decorations in general, it's worth keepi??ng in mind that you'll need as many of a certain decoration as you want to place, so you can't place?? multiple copies of something if you only own one. You also can't place the same decoration in the Backroom and elsewhere if you only own one.

If you plan on stuffing your Ba??ckroom absolutely full of decorations, don't expect this to be done in an afternoon, either. Acquiring decorations mostly means spending syndicate standing, and thanks to daily standing caps, the Backroom will likely be something you decorate over time.

Zariman decorations in Warframe

Warframe Zariman decorations

The vendor Hombask, located in the Chysalith on the Zariman Ten Zero, is arguably the single most important place to find decorations for the backroom. Hombask sells a ton of different decorations, but you can find a lot of normal-living-space-type furnishings ther?e.

So, expect to find benches, rugs, tables, lamps, and the like. Beyond that, though, what's particularly relevant to the backroom are the walls you can buy from Hombask. There ??are a few different varieties, but these will be essential to setting up different rooms in your new place.

As you might expect, you purchase these decorations with The Holdfasts standing. Playing Chrysalith bounties, particularly on Steel Path, is an effective way of acquiring standing. Make sure to search out as many Voidplumes as you can in each mission for extra standing.

Sanctum decorations in Warframe

Warframe Sanctum decorations

The vendor Bird 3, located in Sanctum Anatomica on Deimos, is another important place to find decorations for the Backroom, albeit less so than the Zariman. Bird 3 sells a rotating selection of items, most of whic??h are luxurious, golden furniture pieces and lighting fixtures.

Five items are offered each week, out of a total of 13, so it takes three weeks to fully cycle. Unfortunately, you can only purchase one of each decoration each week. We'd r??ecommend checking in with Bird 3 each week to see if anything catches your eye, so you don't miss out.

Like the Zariman, you purchase these decorations with Cavia standing. Playing Sanctum Anatomica bounties, once again on Steel Path, is a great way of getting standing. While doing so, you can pick up various Voca that can ?be exchanged for more standing with Loid.

Duviri decorations in Warframe

Warframe Duviri decorations

The vendor Acrithis, located in the Dormizone on the Zariman Ten Zero, also sells a variety of interesting decorations tha?t can fit well in the Backroom. Acrithis has a static selection of decorations, an?d they're mostly furniture with a Duvuri aesthetic, so think elegant earth tones.

While these decorations don't rotate, you can only purchase them with Enigma Gyrums, a resource unique to Duviri. You can earn Enigma Gyrums by completing Duviri Enigmas, which are puzzles foun??d in Duviri's 'The Duviri Experience' mode. That's the only way to get them.

Since you can't buy these with standing, they do require more effort to unlock, so we'd recommend taking a look at Acrithis' wares to decide if the decorations he offers are worth buying. The Duviri Experience is a good way to get? resources for Incarnons, however—so two birds, one? stone.

Market decorations in Warframe

The last major place to get decorations is Warframe's in-game shop. Of course, that means they'll cost you Pla??tinum. As always, one of the best ways to earn Platinum quickly is by cracking open relics and selling the various P?rime parts you get via trading, but there are other ways, too.

There isn't a specific theme to the decorations available on the market, and there are a lot of them. However, most of the decorations on the market are trinkets. Thin?k little tchotchkes or posters. So, you won't find much in the way of walls or furniture like you can at the above spots.

Decorat?ions on the market are cheap, but they'll add up quickly, and considering how precious Platinum is as a resource, you might want to focus your energies on decorations from the Zariman first and foremost, since there's a wide variety available.

One of Warframe: 1999's biggest additions to the game is its romance system. Like real life, though, starting up a relationship in Warframe isn't necessarily easy,?? and?? it can take some time.

Before you even think about romance, you'll need to play the 1999 quest, decide who you want to date, and understand the new seasonal system. Beyond that, here's how to start dating ASAP.

How Chemistry works in Warframe

Warframe: 1999 Protoframe Gemini skins
Image via Digital Extremes

Chemistry is your 'relationship XP' in Warframe, and it's represented by your Chemistry Rank. There are six ??ranks in the game, and they are as follows:

  • Neutral
  • Friendly
  • Liked
  • Trusted
  • Close
  • Best Friends / Loved

You need to hit certain Chemistry Ranks with each Hex syndicate member to have the option to date them. Although, the rank required varies from Hex member to Hex member. Plus, depending on y?our interactions with the members, they might not want to date you.

Chemistry Rank is gated by your rank in the Hex syndicate. So, you'll need ??to be a certain ?rank in the syndicate to level up to certain Chemistry Ranks. However, any Chemistry you earn will be 'banked' for use later on whenever you hit the appropriate syndicate level.

This means that even if you're at the maximum Chemistry Rank with your current syndicate level, once you level up the syndicate, any additional earned Chemistry will then be applied to your ??Chemistry Rank. No need to worry about wasting any Chemistry you manage to earn?.

Her?e are what ranks in the H??ex syndicate you'll need to hit which Chemistry Ranks:

  • Friendly: Fresh Slice (Rank 2)
  • Liked: 2-for-1 (Rank 3)
  • Trusted: Hot & Fresh (Rank 4)
  • Close: Pizza Party (Rank 5)

How to earn Chemistry quickly in Warframe: 1999

There are three ways to earn Chemistry in Warframe: sending gifts, messaging, and completing side objectives on 1999 bounties. Luckily,? you can't ??lose Chemistry, only gain it.

As you get to know a Hex syndicate member, their messaging profile will give you information on what sort of gifts they'll like, or you can check out our guide on the best gifts to give every member. You can only send a gift once per day, thoug??h, and the wrong gift ??won't increase Chemistry.

You can also acquire Chemistry by chatting with a Hex syndicate member. You can have one chat per day, although, like with gifts, Chemistry gains are not always guaranteed, depe??nding on how your conversation goes. Saying too many wrong things might even make you undateable.

The only guaranteed way to earn Chemistry is via 1999 bounties. Each of the six available 1999 bounties is tied to a specific Hex syndicate member, and if you complete the optional side ob??jective during a bounty, you'll earn Chemistry with the respective member. This can be done once each day.

Lastly, as you progress through 1999's seasonal calendar, the birthday of eac?h member will come up, and you can choose to have a special birthday? conversation when those arrive. This will give you another chance at earning Chemistry outside of your normal daily chatting.

So, if you want to earn Chemistry as fast as possible, you'll need to do the following:

  • Chat every day
  • Send a gift every day
  • Complete bounty side objectives every day
  • Send a birthday message when you can

How to rank up the Hex syndicate quickly in Warframe

Earning Chemistry is only one part of the puzzle. To hit the higher Chemistry Ranks, you'll need to be leveling up your Hex syndicate, too. Like with the other syndicates in the game, ranking up ??the Hex is a pretty straightforward process, gated only by your daily standing cap.

The best way to level up the Hex syndicate is by playing bounties, particularly the Steel Path variant of bounties. It's even better if, during bounties, you search for and pick up Hex Treasures. Six types of Hex Treasures can all be traded in for Hex? standing:

  • Big Bytes Pizza â€?2,500 standing
  • Argon Burger Meal â€?1,500 standing
  • 35mm Film â€?750 standing
  • Cheddar Crowns Cereal â€?750 standing
  • Mood Crystal â€?750 standing
  • Chuggin' Along Sixpack â€?750 standing
  • On-Lyne CD â€?750 standing
  • The Countessa Comic â€?750 standing

You can memorize where treasures appear just by playing missions, but using the Parallax Landing Craft with its Orokin Eye air support is easier. Simply use this ability in a mission, and all Hex Treasures within a 150m radius will get highli??ghted for you to grab.

How to start dating someone in Warframe: 1999

Warframe: 1999 webcomic

Once you hit the required Chemistry Rank with a Hex syndicate member (and the corresponding Hex syndicate rank), you'll be presented with a new dialogue option when you visit that character in the Höllvania Central Mall. You can choose to start up a re?lation??ship from there.

You can also start (or end) relationships over messaging, but messaging can be unpredictable, so you're probably better off just visiting the person in question directly once your Chemistry is ranked up. Similarly, once you st??art a relationship, you can break up the same way.

Once you've begun a relationship, you'll get to have a New Year's Eve kiss with your partner when the 1999 seasonal cycle is over. A season takes place over the course of a month in real-time, so your first opportunity will be on January 12th, 2025.

Remember that there's only this one chance for the kiss in a given cycle, and you can only get a kiss with a Hex syndicate member you'r??e currently dating. After the cycle resets, you can reset your relationship progress, start over, and date someone new in the next cycle.

Feeling lonely? Well, if you're a Warframe player, you won't have to anymore, thanks to a new romance system in the 1999 update. ??But just how many partners can you rack up?

Before we get into how high your virtual, shall we say, body count can go, you should take a look at who your options are, how the new calendar system works, and make sure to complete the 1999 quest. Once that's all done, read on to learn exactly how many people you can romance in Warframe: 1999.

You can romance one person at a time in Warframe: 1999, but...

The romance system works in Warframe by leveling up ??your relationship with people to a certain level, and you'll have the option to start a relationship with them. Once the in-game 1999 calendar cycles through a year or a real-time mon??th, you??'ll get a New Year's Eve kiss with them.

You can only romance one person at a time, but you can break up with?? somebody?? if your heart has focused on somebody else. However, since you'll only have one chance throughout a monthly cycle to have a New Year's Kiss, you can only 'fully' romance one person in a month.

At the time of writing, the first Warframe: 1999 cycle will end on January 12th, 2025. Once a cycle is complete, you can reset your progress, wiping all your conversation history and setting your relationship levels with all the people you can ??ro??mance back to zero.

protoframe photo warframe 1999
Image via Digital Extremes

As a note, the group chat you have with all the Hex syndicate members will not be reset after a monthly cycle ends, and your standing with the Hex syndicate will also be independent of the romance system and seasonal cycle of Warframe: 1999 content. Resetting is just for relationships.

So, while you can only see one romance through to the end in a month, you can date every member of the Hex squad over time if you so choose.

How breaking up works in Warframe: 1999

Once you're in a relationship with someone, you can initiate a breakup by visiting the person in question at the Höllvania Central Mall and selecting the 'Break Up' dialogue. Depending on the personality of ??the person in question, you may or may not be able to get back together.

We'd suggest only breaking up with somebody if you're totally sure they aren't th?e right one for you. Make sure you're careful when messaging your partner, as breakups can also be initiated through the messaging system, just as relationships can be started over a mess??age, too.

There's a ton of new content in Warframe: 1999, ?including two new rifles and a new pistol: the Reconifex, the AX-52, and the Vesper 77. But how do you get your hands on them?

Keep reading to find out exactly what you'll need to do, and once you get your weapons, check out our builds for the Reconifex, Vesper 77, and AX-52 to get you to slaying ASAP.

How to get the Reconifex in Warframe

cyte 09 warframe

Firstly, you can buy the Reconifex from the in-game shop directly for 240p. However, that's not the only way to acquire its weapon. You can also buy its blueprints from Amir of the Hex syndicate once you reach rank four. Here are the?? standing costs and crafting materials required:

  • Reconfiex Blueprint: 15,000 standing to buy. 30,000 credits, a Reconifex Barrel, a Reconifex Reciever, and a Reconifex Stock to craft.
  • Reconifex Barrel Blueprint: 5,000 standing to buy. 20,000 credits, 40 Techrot Chitin, 10 Techrot Motherboards, 2 Neural Sensors, and 1 Argon Crystal to craft.
  • Reconifex Reciever Blueprint: 5,000 standing to buy. 20,000 credits, 60 Efervon Samples, 60 Höllvanian Pitchweave Fragments, 15 Experimental Arc-Relays, and 500 Ferrite to craft.
  • Reconifex Stock Blueprint: 5,000 standing to buy. 20,000 credits, 60 Höllvanian Pitchweave Fragments, 30 Techrot Chitin, 8 Techrot Motherboards, and 1 Orokin Cell to craft.

You can also drop all of the above blueprints by playing 1999 missions. You can check out exactly what missions drop, which blueprint, and the drop rates on the Wiki. However, chance??s are quite low, so you're better off playing missions for standing and ho?ping to get lucky.

How to get the Vesper 77 in Warframe

Warframe Vesper 77

Like the Reconifex, you can buy the Vesper 77 from the in-game shop for 200p. Once again, that's not the only way to get it, though. You can buy its blueprints from Amir of the Hex syndicate once you reach rank three. Here are the standing cos??ts and crafting materials required:

  • Vesper 77 Blueprint: 15,000 standing to buy. 20,000 credits, a Vesper 77 Barrel, a Vesper 77 Reciever, and a Vesper 77 Handle to craft.
  • Vesper 77 Barrel Blueprint: 5,000 standing to buy. 20,000 credits, 40 Höllvanian Pitchweave Fragments, 16 Techrot Chitin, 20 Experimental Arc-Relays, and 1 Argon Crystal to craft.
  • Vesper 77 Reciever Blueprint: 5,000 standing to buy. 20,000 credits, 80 Efervon Samples, 16 Techrot Chitin, 12 Techrot Motherboards, and 300 Salvage to craft.
  • Vesper 77 Handle Blueprint: 5,000 standing to buy. 20,000 credits, 80 Efervon Samples, 40 Techrot Chitin, 6 Techrot Motherboards, and 200 Polymer Bundles to craft.

You can drop Vesper 77 blueprints from 1999 missions, too. Check out the Wiki for th??e list of which missions reward which parts, as well as drop rates. However, dropping the parts is rare, so you're better off playing the missions for standing and lucking into maybe dropping a ?blueprint.

How to get the AX-52 in Warframe

Warframe AX-52 rifle
Screenshot by Destructoid

Unlike the weapons above, you can't buy the AX-52 from the in-game shop. And while you can buy its blueprint from Amir of the Hex syndicate once you reach rank four for 30,000 standing, you can craft it directly without needing to craft other parts for it. The materials required are as fol??lows:

  • 20,000 credits
  • 80 Efervon Samples
  • 40 Techrot Chitin
  • 6 Techrot Motherboards
  • 200 Polymer Bundles

There isn't a chance to drop the blueprint for the AX-52 by playing 1999 content, so y??ou'll have to focus on grinding up the Hex syndicate to rank four and then acquiring the 30,000 ??standing necessary to purchase the blueprint. As mentioned above, though, there are n??o comp??onent parts to buy.

More than a few new guns were added in Warframe: 1999, including the Vesper 77. This silenced pistol certainly? looks like a good fit for a game about space ?ninjas, but how should you build it?

If you're hungry for new weapons, make sure to check out the Reconifex and Cyte-09's Neutralizer, as well as all the new mods in the game. But if you're rea??dy to build a pistol, keep reading.

How to build the Vesper 77 in Warframe

The unique trait on the Vesper 77 is increased critical chance when aiming and weak point highlighting. However, the weak point bui?ld for this gun isn't nearly?? as versatile as a more standard Galvanized Shot setup, so that's what we've gone with to make this accessible to any frame.

Of?? course, you'll get to use the increased critical chance, and you can shoot at highlighted weak points to your heart's content. The premise of this build is to build viral a??nd heat to multiply the damage you deal and scale off of Galvanized Shot while pumping up critical damage.

Our arcane, Cascadia Flare, scales nic?ely with the infliction of the heat status, which won't be hard to do thanks to a healthy dose of multishot and a solid increase in fire rate. Altogether, you can take down level 200 enemies in just a few shots, no matter what frame y??ou've got.

The best mods for the Vesper 77 in Warframe

Warframe Vesper 77 mods
Screenshot by Destructoid

Simply shoot at your enemies to start inflicting statuses and getting heat procs, and once the first few guys are defeated, your damage will quickly skyrocket, allowing you to easily take down groups. You will have to reload regularly, though, since?? your magazine only has eight rounds.

Arcane: Cascadia Flare

Exilus: Steady Hands

Mods:

  • Pistol Pestilence
  • Frostbite
  • Primed Heated Charge
  • Primed Pistol Gambit
  • Primed Target Cracked
  • Lethal Torrent
  • Galvanized Diffusion
  • Galvanized Shot

You can opt for corrosive instead of viral if you'd like. The important thing here is just to make sure you don't dwarf your heat damage with other types of damage, as inflicting the heat s??tatus is essential to scaling your overall damage with the Cascadia Flare arcane this build uses.

If you'd like to play around with a weak point build, you can remove the multishot mods here in favor of Pistol Acuity for a massive increase to weak point damage, whi?le Frostbite an?d Pistol Pestilence can be replaced with Galvanized Crosshairs and Primed Convulsion.

You won't need Primed Pistol Gambit with Galvanized Crosshairs, so with the spaces left, you can slot in your favorite base damage mods. Lastly, a weak point build will want to?? run the Secondary Deadhead arcane to truly maximize headshot damage. Just make sure to hit your shots.

Warframe: 1999 is p?acked to the gills with new content, including three all-new game modes, as well as a twist on a familiar one. But the game doesn't necessarily explain ??how to play them all.

Before you dive into the new game modes, though, check out the new frame, Cyte-09, how to build him, and how his sniper rifle works. Then, it's time to sink your teeth into the 1999 game modes.

How to play Hell-Scrub in Warframe

Warframe Hell-Scrub
Screenshot by Destructoid

Hell-Scrub is, essentially, a new version of Survival in Warframe. It comes in two flavors: Scaldra and Techro?t.?? These play the same, just with enemies of each respective faction.

This mode plays like traditional Survival, but instead of life support capsules, there are Hell-Scrubbers. These still provide life support when you interact with them, but they can be infected by Techrot spores, which can be removed by destroying them with your? weapons or abilities.

If a Hell-Scrubber is taken over by the Techrot, it will spawn a Techrot Babau. When killed, the Babau will drop life support, but it'll be less than what you'd get from a Hell-Scrubber. However, there are a few new mods added in the 1999 update dropped from Techrot Babaus.

Simply activate Hell-Scrubbers as n??ecessary, and you can extract after five minutes.

How to play Legacyte Harvest in Warframe

Warframe: 1999 Legacyte Harvest
Screenshot by Destructoid

Legacyte Harvest is a unique mode in Warframe, but it plays somewhat like Disruption. In Legacyte Harvest, you follow Kalymos underground and guard her as a gauge fills up. Once filled, a Legacyte will spawn in, which is a particularly chunky en??emy with a lot of health.

Kalymos is invulnerable, but the gauge will not fill up if she's taking damage. Normally, the gauge will fill up by 1% per second?, but Pheroglands may drop from nearby enemies that can be picked up to increase the gauge by 15% at once. Either way, filling up the gauge doesn't take long

Once you damage a Legacyte down to half health, it will begin running away towards a Techrot Umbilix. The Umbilix can be destroyed, but if left alone, the Legacyte will use the Umbilix to escape, failing the? mission if a Legacyte ??hasn't already been defeated at least once.

After you fully deplete its health,?? the Legacyte is downed and can be captured. You can extract after capturing a Legacyte, or you can continue on and capture more Legacytes.

How to play Faceoff in Warframe

Warframe: 1999 Faceoff
Screenshot by Destructoid

Faceoff is a PvPvE mode, the first mode of this kind in Warframe, and by pla??ying it you can earn Conclave standing as opposed to Hex syndicate standing. This mode plays with two squads of four people, and the goal is to complete a series of three objectives faster than the other squad.

There are two Faceoff missions: one is the squad vs squad version mentioned and shown above, and the other is Faceoff: Single Squad, where your squad competes with an AI squad. The modes play the same, but if you play agai??nst the AI, you get fewer rewar?ds than in squad vs squad.

Vosfor and the new arcanes added in 1999 are the primary rewards for this mode, although you can earn Steel Essence by playing Faceoff on Steel Path. As you'd expect, winning a??gainst another squad? (not against the AI) will earn you more rewards than you'll get by losing.

The three objectives you complete during the mission are randomized, but they can be familiar tasks like Exterminate or Assassination as well as a number of tasks unique to Faceoff:

  • Data Burn: Transfer the data. This plays like Excavation. A server will begin transferring data, and you need to keep the server powered with gas cans carried by enemies. Once an enemy with a gas can is defeated, it will drop, and you can pick it up to bring it over to the server.
  • Techrot Scan: Keep your scanner alive. This plays like Defense, except you're protecting a scanner. Jammers spawn that you can destroy to reduce the time you have to protect your scanner. If your scanner is destroyed, the timer stops until the scanner revives itself.
  • Pirate Radio: Maintain your broadcast. Like Techrot Scan, you'll protect your radio as it floats around on a balloon. Jammers spawn that you can destroy to reduce the protection time required. If your radio fails, the timer stops until the balloon revives itself.
  • Lockbox: Unlock the box. Marked areas on the map can be searched to find keys. Deliver the keys to your lockbox, and once five keys have been delivered, the objective is complete. Fail to deliver all five keys before the timer expires, and your lockbox will explode instead.

While you complete these objectives, you can find various boosts for your team as well as penalties for the other team. Check out the patch notes to find the full list of boosts and penalties.

How to play Exterminate in Warframe: 1999

Warframe: 1999 Exterminate
Screenshot by Destructoid

Exterminate in Warframe: 1999 plays like, well, Exterminate. But there is a new optional objective in 1999 Exterminate missions: opening Scaldra Supply Caches. Opening these caches awards you with one of the new arcanes added in the 1999 update but also sends in stronger enemies.

To open a Scaldra Supply Cache, you'll need to find Efervon Charges. You need as many Efervon Charges as you have squad members plus one. So, with a full squad, you'll need to find five Efervon Charges. Efervon Charges are located near ?the cache, but you will have to search for them.

Pillars of green light mark Efervon Charges, and if you're close enough to one, a yellow indicator will appear directly on top of it. Efervon Charge locations are static, but they're tied to where the ?cache spawns, and the cache can spawn in different places on the map.

Warframe: 1999 is here, bu??t with it has co?me a bunch of systems, including a full-blown romance mechanic. A big part of that, though, is the calendar and its accompanying seasons.

Before you worry about new systems, make sure to get the new frame, Cyte-09, and try out a build for him. But keep reading to learn everything you need to know about Warframe: 1999's calendar, its seasons, Hex Ov??errides, and all the weekly tasks you'll want to make s?ure you do.

Warframe: 1999's calendar and seasons explained

The calendar in Warframe: 1999 is basically a to-do list of tasks you can complete over the course of a month. Ea??ch real-time week is its own 'season' that's divided into three in-game calendar months. A real-time month, then, comes out to a year on the calendar.

Each week, you have a season's worth of objectives to complete. T??hese can only be done in Höllvania, but the specific mission doesn't matter. These objectives run the gamut, so sometimes you might be getting ability kills, other times you might be defeating Scaldra.

As you complete objectives, you'll unlock various rewards. These also run the gamut, but you can get some pretty valu??able drops, like Archon Shards. Beyond just loot, though, as you go through the seasons, you'll come to each Hex syndicate member's birthday on the calendar.

If you choose to, you can have special little birthday interactions with each member, which will in turn work towards ??leveling up your relationship with that member. Aside from rewards and birthdays, there's one last thing to unlock in the calendar: Hex Overrides.

Hex Overrides in Warframe explained

Warframe: 1999 Hex Overrides
Image via Digital Extremes

Hex Overrides are basically buffs that apply to your Warframes when playing 1999 content. These aren'??t Warframe-specific like infusions in the Helminth, though, and they'll apply to whatever Warframe you choose to load into H?öllvania with â€?but only in Höllvania missions.

Whate??ver Hex Overrides you select will remain in effect until the end of a calendar year, so that's a month in real-time. The season resets every week, but your Hex Overrides will carry ov??er until the end of a monthly cycle when you'll have the chance to pick new Hex Overrides all over again.

Hex Overrides are broken down into two type??s: Hex Boos?ts and Hex Factors.

Hex Boosts are pas??sive stat buffs, so you might find a Hex Boost that increases your melee attack speed. Some Hex Boosts are stackable, so you can choose the same one multiple times, if given the option. Although, you might not be guaranteed the chance to stack the ??one you want.

Hex Factors are active buffs, so you might find a Hex Fact??or t?hat gives you electricity damage when bullet jumping. These effects aren't stackable, so whatever Hex Factor you pick is the Hex Factor you'll get, and you won't get a chance to upgrade or reselect it later.

As a note, Hex Overrides are, on the calendar, associated with specific Hex Syndicate members, but this is just for flavor. You won't be leveling up your relationship with the Hex members by selecting a Hex Override tied to a certain member. They ??also won't only? affect that member's frame.

Warframe: 1999 is here, but its flagship 'The Hex' quest ends with quite an unsatisfying conclusion. Not to worry, though, because there's actually a second 1999 quest, The Hex Finale.

Beyond questing, make sure to check out Warframe's latest frame, Cyte-09, how to build him, and how to build his sniper rifle, but keep reading t??o learn how you can unlock The Hex Finale.

Spoilers will follow for 'The Hex' quest, but there will be no spoilers for part two.

Warframe's 'The Hex' quest's second part

When you complete The Hex, things are looking pretty dreary. All your new friends are dead courtesy of a nuke destroying the beautiful city of Höllvania, and the Drifter is ready to loop again??. The good news is that you won't ha?ve to wait for a future update to try out that second loop.

The Hex Finale lets you attempt that fateful New Year's Eve once more, but you'll have to play the second part for yourself to see ho??w things turn out. However, the game doesn't explicitly tell you there is a second part, nor does it tell you how to unlock it until?? you've actually done so.

Plus, you need to complete The Hex Finale to rank up the Hex syndicate to the fourth rank, and once you hit that rank, the Hex group chat, as well as your DMs with Hex members, are ?all updated to reflect the events of The Hex Finale, essentially moving up the timeline of your relationships.

Luckily, it doesn't take too ?much work to get to The Hex Finale.

How to unlock 'The Hex Finale' quest in Warframe

Put simply, you need to level up your relationships with the Hex syndicate members, Eleanor, Aoi, Le??ttie, Arthur, Quincy, and Amir, to 'liked' status before the quest will be available to you. Once you have your relationships in order, you can start The Hex Finale from the Backroom in Höllvania.

The quest itself is short, and the game tells you beforehan??d to expect around a 15-minute adventure. Nonetheless, it's an essential quest?? to play once you finish The Hex. To that end, there are a few different ways you can level up your relationships with the Hex syndicate members.

Completing the Höllvania bounty side objectives will award you with chemistry that levels up your relationships. Simply messaging the Hex members from your Backroom PC each day will also level up your relationships. Lastly, sending the Hex members gifts can do the same thing.

As long as you do some (or all) of the above, getting to 'liked' status won't take more than a few days. You'll likely unlock The Hex Finale by the time you're around the third rank in the Hex?? syndicate if you're doing your bounties for the chemistry bonus. So, it's not all that much of a grind.

Warframe: 1999 is here, and with it has come tons of content. Part of all t??hat new stuff is new mods, 15 to be exac?t. These mods run the gamut from adding magnetic damage to increasing weak point critical chance and more. But what exactly do these mods do, and how do you get them?

Mods aren't the only addition in 1999, there are new arcanes to look at, a new Warframe, and some interesting reworks of Nyx and Trinity, too. But if you're ready to jump into the building scene and take some new mods out for a spin, here are all the new 1999 mods and where to get them.

Every mod added in Warframe's 1999 update

In total, there are 15 new mods added with Warframe: 1999. There are aura mods, pistol?? mods, rifle mods, shotgun mods, a melee mod, an archgun mod, an archmelee mod, and even beast claw mods. They do a variety of things, but a lot of these mods work similarly to each other.

There's a focus on mods that add magnetic damage (much like the radiation mods already in the game) as well as mods that affect weak points and mesh well with Warframe's new frame, Cyte-09, that was added in the 1999 update. C?heck out the full list of added mods with descriptio??ns:

  • Magnetic Might (Pistol): +60% Magnetic Damage, +40% Critical Damage
  • Worthy Comradery (Aura): Squad receives +75%, Weak Point Critical Chance.
  • Summoner’s Wrath (Aura): Squad receives +75%, Companion and Summon Damage.

Warframe is a game that's built specifically on the rule of cool. That's a tricky thing to balance for a live-service game, but the developer Digital E?xtremes manages just fine. How? By turning awesome bugs into satisfying features, of course, as shown with the new Atomicycle spawning bug.

More specifically, the recent release of Warframe: 1999 h?as cast a retro ve??neer onto the entire far-future universe of this game. One of the update's flashiest features by far is the powerful Atomicycle vehicles, which are precisely what they sound like: nuclear-powered motorbikes. They explode if you ram them into enemies, too, which is extra neat. Now, Atomicycles were originally supposed to be limited to Warframe: 1999's new location, the city of Hollvania, but players quickly figured out a way to force-spawn them into any old mission. Instead of? patching this out real quick, Digital Extremes has now enshrined that bug as a f??eature.

//www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/1hfob4n/yet_another_massive_de_w/

You can now drive Warframe: 1999's Atomicycle wherever you want

As per Digital Extremes' recent announcement on the official Warframe Discord, the ability to summon Atomicycles wherever, whenever is now going to be supported as a feature. This frankly ridiculous development is immediately hailed as a stellar m??ove by just about everyone in the community, and it's hard to argue with that take.

Granted, some caveats do apply. The Atomicycle is, for example, going to remain the only vehicle available on maps other than the ones it's been designed for. Archwings, K-Drives, and other various mounts will stay content-exclusive. Instead, only Atomicycles are being given the "copter" treatment, as Warframe veterans likely recall. Atomicy??cles will also no longer be summonable in dedicated Archwing missions, which does make perfect sense.

The good news is that Digital Extremes has now promised to resolve the spotloading bug that occurs upon summoning an Atomicycle in a regular, non-1999 mission. Furthermore, any game-breakin?g issues that happen due to this development will be fixed on a per-case basis.

In practical terms, this means that you will now be able to pull out your Atomicycle from your pocket dimension virtually anywhere and for any reason. Since they can be used both to get around really quickly and as rapid-fire explosive devices, there's merit in lugging one around now. As if we needed any more reasons to grind our way through Warframe: 1999's re-envisioning of Dark Sector.

One of the biggest additions to Warframe: 1999 is a new frame, Cyte-09. A hallmark of his kit is his Neutralizer sniper rifle ability, but building it can be tricky, especially with 1999's new mods.

To even use the Neutralizer, though, you'll need to unlock Cyte-09, get your Cyte-09 build in order, and maybe even consider using a new arcane. After that, ??you're ready to build your Neutralizer.

How to build Cyte-09's Neutralizer in Warframe

The Neutralizer has a couple of unique features. For?? one, its alternate fire lobs a cold grenade that freezes enemies and leaves a lingering cold field on the ground. When you hit a hit weak point with the Neutralizer, the bullet ricochets up to four times within ten meters of the original target.

This means the Neutralizer has a fair bit of AoE potential, even though it's a sniper. Plus, Cyte-09's Seek and Resupply abilities massively expand the Neutralizer's damage potential, as well as do some of the new arcanes and mods this build uses that were added with the 1999 update.

The core idea of this build is to build as?? much raw damage as possible. With a miniscule status chance and low fire rate, mods that scale their damage, like Galvanized Aptitude, just aren't particularly effective. So, we're building for base damage, critical chance, and critical damage.

The best mods for Cyte-09's Neutralizer in Warframe

Warframe Neutralizer mods
Screenshot by Destructoid

This build uses new mods added with the 1999 update, like Spectral Serration and Primary Acuity. Spectral Serration increases base damage by 330% when invisible, while Primary Acuity increases weak point damage and weak point critical ??chance by 350% each, locking multishot in exchange.

Mods:

  • Semi-Rifle Cannonade
  • Spectral Serration
  • Primary Acuity
  • Piercing Caliber
  • Vital Sense
  • Critical Delay
  • Hammer Shot
  • Primed Cryo Rounds

Semi-Rifle Cannonade pairs well with Critical Delay, since the f?ire rate penalty won't take effect, and adding fire rate to a sniper isn't the most effective use of your mod capacity. Cold damage from Primed Cryo Rounds isn't about the element as much as it's about a boatload of raw damage.

You can swap out Spectral Serration, Primed Cryo Rounds, or Hammer Shot for a faction mod, if that's more your playstyle, but this build is designed to work against any enemy. Galvanized Chamber isn't a bad mod to use by any means, b?ut if you can get Primary Acuity, that seems best.

At the time of writing, if you've got the Endo for leveling, neither Spectral Serration nor Primary Acuity are particularly expensive to get via trading. You wi?ll have to pay around 150p if you want to trade for them at their max ranks, though. You can also drop these by playing 1999 content.

Outside of what goes on in the Neutralizer itself, another new Warframe arcane to keep in mind is Arcane Crepuscular. Currently, it's very expensive to trade for, and you can't get it yourself until you hit the fourth ra??nk in the 1999 syndicate, but it will give the Neutralizer a 3x critical multiplier.

Warframe: 1999 is here, but the update didn't just add new content, it also changed how some older frames in the game worked, like Tr?inity who got some major buffs to her kit. Plus, you won't even have to build her as a supp??ort character, and you can instead use her for serious damage.

Beyond Trinity, make sure to check out the Nyx rework, how to get the newest frame, and how to build him, but if you're ready to crush Netracells completely solo, keep readi??ng for ?our Trinity build.

The top Trinity rework build in Warframe right now

You can read the patch notes to find the specifics on how Trinity's been reworked, but suffice it to ??say sh?e's been buffed. Traditionally, Trinity excelled at supporting her team, but the premise of this build is turning her into a weapons platform that can live forever and take down all her foes.

With an augment mod, her Blessing skill can generate u??p to a massive 350??% critical chance; her Link skill can shred the armor of nearby enemies; and her Energy Vampire skill will let you use as many skills as often as you want. Subsuming Roar also pairs nicely with the added critical chance.

Also, keep in mind that Trinity's Energy Vampire and Blessing skills still support you??r team, providing them with energy and restoring shields/health, so this build isn't selfish by any means. Roar, too, will boost everyone's damage, making this build an easy favorite of any party.

Arcanes: Molt Augmented and Arcane Avenger

Aura: Combat Discipline

Exilus: Power Drift

Mods:

  • Primed Redirection
  • Primed Continuity
  • Primed Flow
  • Archon Intensify
  • Blind Rage
  • Abating Link
  • Champion's Blessing
  • Vampire Leech

Of course, if you don't have Primed mods, normal variants will work, just not as well. Vampire Leech and Primed R??edirection can also be swapped out if you prefer to play a health tank version of Trinity, but consider??ing how often you'll use Energy Vampire, Vampire Leech works quite well.

Combat Discipline can be swapped out if you don't use Archon Intensify, but it's a ?clever pairing of mods that guarantees you a small portion of health damage? that can be healed away, giving you extra ability strength. Though, there are other ways to build strength, such as using Umbral Intensify.

Best Archon Shards for Trinity

Trinity doesn't live and die by Archon Shards, so feel free to run this build without any, but if you've got them to spare, they can certainly make a difference. As always, Tauforged Shards are best; although, normal Shards will work just fine, e??spec?ially when trying to avoid a certain breakpoint.

More ability strength means more Link targets, so you can't go wrong with Crimson Sh??ards, but depending on how quickly you take down enemies, you may not need many more Link targets to be active at once. So, this build primarily uses Shards to make playing Trinity more comfortable.

  • 2 Amber Archon Shards: + Parkour Velocity
  • 1 Amber Archon Shard: + Casting Speed
  • 2 Crimson Archon Shards: + Ability Strength

Parkour velocity makes an otherwise slower frame nice and nimble while casting speed makes using abilities like Roar very responsi??ve. Lastly, as mentioned above, ability strength makes Roar deal more damage and Link more effective, so? you can't go wrong with Crimson Shards.

How to play reworked Trinity in Warframe

The most important thing to do with Trinity is keep her Blessing skill active, as the Champion's Blessing mod will increase your critical cha??nce each time you heal. The Ch?ampion's Blessing effect has a longer duration than Blessing, however, so it's okay if Blessing lapses for a few seconds.

Otherwise, simply use Energy Vampire as needed for energy, as well as pop Link whenever you're in combat and need to strip nearby foes of their defenses. Blessing and Link also provide a pretty significant portion of Trinity's defenses by way of damage reduction and redirection.

We subsume Roar over Trinity's first ability, Well of Life, in this build, and you can use Roar as you feel it's necessary. It's fine to keep it active 24/7 or to merely use? it when a particularly chunky enemy appears. Naturally, Roar's damage buff will also apply to nearby teammates.

To that end, Energy Vampire will also provide energy to teammates, and Blessing will restore the health/shields of nearby teammates. Altogether, this build can buff a squad's damag??e, provide squadmates with energy, and keep everyone alive, maintaining Trinity's support role.

Warframe: 1999 added tons of new stuff to the game, including Cyte-09's sign?ature gun, the Reconifex. Cyte-09 may be a stealthy sniper-focused frame, but his signature gun is an assault rifle.

Make sure to check out how to unlock Cyte-09, what new arcanes were added, and how to best take advantage of the Nyx rework, but read on to see how you can turn the Reconifex in??to a monster.

How to build the Reconifex in Warframe

The good news is that the Reconifex isn't a particularly difficult weapon to build, and it won't require an uber-expensive ??Riven mod to work well, either. So, what we have here is a fairly straightforward gun. Although, that doesn't mean you can get creative or take it to the next level with a Riven.

The basic idea here is to stack up a variety of different elements to scale Galvanized Aptitude off of and do some seriously intense damage. This is a great weapon, particularly for Cyte-09, b?ecause of its massive magazine size, which is 200 rounds large and even bigger with mods.

Cyte-09's Resupply ability reloads your weapon with rounds that do elemental damage of your choosing, so a hig??h-mag-capacity weapon means you won't have to be recasting Resupply nonstop. On its own, though, the Reconifex sports heat rounds if you can time a perfect reload.

K??eep in mind that you can't actually take advantage of the weapon's innate heat rounds when using Cyte-09's Resupply ability, as the Resupply rounds will override the weapon's heat rounds. Nonetheless, its magazine capacity is certainly a great fit for Cyte-09.

The best mods for the Reconifex in Warframe

Warframe Reconifex build

We're trying to build as many different elements as we can onto the Reconifex for Gal??vanized Aptitude while boosting our critical potential with Critical Delay and Vital Sense, which are also important for maximizing DPS. Lastly, Vile Acceleration and Galvanized Chamber make sure we're firing as quickly as possible, hitting for as many shots as possible, and ro??unding out the build.

Arcane: Primary Merciless

Exilus: Vigilante Supplies

Mods:

  • Critical Delay
  • Vital Sense
  • Primed Cryo Rounds (or Cryo Rounds)
  • Malignant Force
  • Magnetic Capacity
  • Vile Acceleration
  • Galvanized Aptitude
  • Galvanized Chamber

Magnetic Capacity is a new mod added with the 1999 update. You can opt for a different element, but if you're playing with Cyte-09, magnetic damage is a great type of elemental damage to have alongside corrosive and viral to quickly annihila?te shields. Plus, it expands your mag capacity.

Primary Merciless is a good choice, but a new arcane, Primary Crux, could be worth trying out when playing with Cyte-09. Primary Crux adds 30% status chance and 6% ammo efficiency for 10 seconds on weak point hit?, stacking up to 10x. This will make Resupply rounds last longer.

Warframe: 1999 doesn't just have new conten?t; there's a new Warframe, too. It's still early days with the community figuring out Cyte-09, bu??t he's shaping up to be quite powerful.

You should also check out 1999's new arcanes, the Nyx rework, and make sure you know how to actually acquire Cyte-09. But if you??'re? ready to build, here's how we kitted out the latest Warframe.

The top Cyte-09 build in Warframe right now

While one of Cyte-09's abilities is an Exalted Weapon, a sniper rifle, that playstyle isn't to everyone's taste, so this buil??d subsumes off this particular ability to turn Cyte-09 into a capable weapons platform that can work with just about any weapon you've got if you can hit weak points.

The pr??emise of this build is using Resupply to buff your weapon with corrosive elemental damage, using Nourish to buff your weapon with viral elemental damage for a nasty elemental combination, and deploying your antennas with S?eek to increase weak point damage for ultra-efficient killing.

All the while, you'll keep Evade active to stay invisible for as long as you can keep earning weak point kills. To achieve this, we're focusing?? on strength for more damage through Resupply and Nourish as well as the duration to make staying permanently invisible as easy as possible.

Arcanes: Molt Efficiency and M?olt Augmented (or Arcane Crepuscular)

Aura: Growing Power

Exilus: Power Drift

Mods:

  • Primed Flow
  • Blind Rage
  • Narrow Minded
  • Augur Reach
  • Umbral Intensify
  • Primed Continuity
  • Streamline
  • Stretch

You can swap Umbral Intensify with Archon Intensify, but k??eep in mind that the extra strength of the Archon version will only apply when you regain health. Cyte-09 does heal itself upon weak point kills wh??en invisible, but you'll need to be damaged and actually restore health for it to count.

Arcane Crepuscular is a new arcane that looks like it'll replace Molt Augmented quite nicely, but it requires quite a bit of standing with the new 1999 syndicate to acquire. You can trade for ??it, but at the time of writing, it's quite expensive. Molt Augmented will work ju??st fine, though.

Best Archon Shards for Cyte-09

Cyte-09 isn't terribly hungry for Archon Shards, but that doesn't mean they won't be a meaningful improvement over his unsharded form. Naturally, Tauforged Shards are ide?al, but regular shards will work just fine since we aren't trying to hit a specific breakpoint here.

More strength will translate directly to more damage, so Crimson Shards is an option, but we wouldn't recommend using too many of those, as you already will do tons of damage. Accordingly, we suggest using Archon Shards?? to make playing Cyte-09 more comfortable with the following:

  • 2 Amber Archon Shards: + Parkour Velocity
  • 1 Amber Archon Shard: + Spawn Energy
  • 1 Amber Archon Shard: + Casting Speed
  • 1 Crimson Archon Shard: + Ability Strength

Spawn energy means you'll be able ?to pop all your abilities immediately and focus on weak point kills to stay invisible, while parkour velocity and cas?ting speed make moving around and using your abilities a lot quicker. Ability strength means you can replace Power Drift with another Exilus mod.

How to play Cyte-09 in Warframe

Cyte-09's kit is built around getting weak point kills. Weak point kills extend the duration of your Evade invisibility skill, and Cyte-09's passive increases his critical chance with every weak point kill. Plus, Cyte-09's placeable antennas with Seek increase the weak point damage you do.

So, the basic idea here is to pop your Evade to go invisible, which is incredibly important to maintain as you will die very quickly without it active, and then to use Nourish, Resupply, and Seek to make g???etting weak point kills as easy as can be, no matter how tough your foes are.

Keep in mind that Seek will highlight enemy weak points and give you enough ??punch through to shoot through walls, too. Since this build runs Nourish for viral damage, using Resupply to add corrosive damage is a nightmarish combination for enemies, but any element can reasonably work.

The one thing to keep in mind is survivability. Cyte-09 is effectively immortal in areas with? lots of enemies for potential weak point kills, but if you can't keep that pace up, Evade has a minute-long cooldown that can put yo??u in a dangerous situation if it expires too quickly. Keep this in mind.

If you don't mind sniping, keeping Cyte-09's Neutralize Exalted Weapon ability is a fine option. This sniper excels at getting weak-point kills, so staying invisible will be easy. However, you may find it difficult to deal with larg??e groups of enemies when using a sniper rifle, but your mileage may vary.

Warframe: 1999 is finally her??e, and with it has come some surprises, like an all-new player housing system. The Backroom is a fully-functiona??l home base, every bit as equipped as the Orbiter.

1999 has also added new arcanes, reworked older Warframes, and added new frames, among other chang?es. But if you're ready to move into a swanky apa?rtment, keep reading.

What is the Backroom in Warframe?

Warframe: 1999 Backroom
Screenshot via Destructoid

Put simply, the Backroom is an apartment you can use as your base of operations. It? features everything you already have in your Orbiter, like your na?vigation console, Foundry, Arsenal, Helminth, Codex, and the like. Plus, you get luxuries like extra display stands, too.

You can decorate your Backroom to your heart's content just like your Orbiter, and you can even set the Backroom as your permanent base, replacing the Orbiter. So, that means? whenever you return from a mission or even log into the game, you'll be sent to the Backroom, not the Orbiter.

The Backroom is also directly connected to the Höllvania Central Mall, which is Warframe: 1999's hub area, so it's an efficient way to access 1999 content. Of course, you can also do so through the PC in the Backroom like you would in your Orbiter if that's your preference??.

How to change your base of operations in Warframe

Warframe: 1999 Backroom

Once you've completed Warframe: 1999's quest, The Hex, you'll have access to the Backroom. To change your base of operations from your Orbiter or Drifter's Camp, simply access the PC in your Orbiter and select the Backroom icon next to the Höllvan??ia Central Mall.

You'll be prompted with whether you want to make the change, and after confirming, the deed will be do??ne. You can return your base of operations to your Orbiter or Drifter's Camp by navigating to Earth on the Star Chart and selecting them. The whole process just takes a few seconds.

Keep in mind that to actually play The Hex quest, you'll need to complete not only The Duviri Paradox but also Warframe's main? quest line through The Lotus Eaters. If you're a new player, this will definitely take some time, but the Backroom will be waiting for you.

Tips and tricks for decorating the Backroom in Warframe

Warframe: 1999 Backroom

As you'll notice, the Backroom comes furnished. However, if you're looking for a fresh start, open up your menu when in your Backroom and navigate to: Equipment > Backroom > Backroom Appearance. From here, uncheck Default Decorations Visible. This will remove the furnishings.

Do keep in mind, though, that the Backroom w??on't be left completely blank. Not only will all your important intractable elements remain, but a few furnishings? will be left as well. That said, most of the stuff will get deleted. And no, you can't move the furnishings around; just turn them on or off.

The Backroom is surprisingly flexible in where you can place things?, but fair warning, you might have more trouble with glitching decorations into walls and other similar tricks than you did in your Orbiter. Luckily, the Backroom is quite large, so you'll have lots of space to work with.

As of now, you can't move around your intractable elements, like the navigation console, but it's possible Digital Extremes will?? add that functionality in the future, considering how popular the Backroom is quickly becoming as an Orbiter replacement. Nothing is se??t in stone just yet, though.

A new frame is coming to Warframe with the game's upcoming 1999 expansion: Cyte-09. Cyte-09 will be Warframe's 59th frame and the latest after Koumei, but until recently, not much?? has been known about him. But that's changing as dev??eloper Digital Extremes releases more information.

We don't know exactly when Warframe: 1999 is coming, although it's set for December, but there is a lot to look forward to, like Cyte-09, the Technocyte Coda, new weapons, new modes, new areas, and more. Keep reading to learn everything we know about Warframe's next frame, Cyte-09.

What are Cyte-09's abilities in Warframe?

Cyte-09's abilities in Warframe
Image via Digital Extremes

The concept for Cyte-09 is a stealthy sniper Warframe, and that's been known for a while, but we've only learned recently ?what his abilities actually do, which? is as follows:

  • Sneak: Plant an antenna that projects a forward wave scan. Detected enemies take increased weak point damage and become visible through walls. Weapons gain punchthrough.
  • Resupply: Throw two elemental ammo packs that instantly refill the active weapon’s magazine and grant the weapon an additional instance of a selected elemental damage type and status effect. Reload clears the effect. Sniper rifles gain extra damage.
  • Evade: Jump backwards and become invisible for a short duration. Weak point kills extend the duration and heal Cyte-09.
  • Neutralize: Summon the Neutralizer, Cyte-09’s exalted sniper rifle. Bullets ricochet off weak points to seek out other nearby weak points. Alt fire lobs a cold grenade that completely freezes enemies.

The big question when it comes to Cyte-09 is how his exalted sniper rifle will work. It's unclear not only how powerful it will be but also exactly what its mechanics are and how they might synergize with Cyte-09's other abilities. We don't have these answers yet, but Warframe: 1999 isn't too far off.

What does the Warframe community think about Cyte-09?

//www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/1gw76mu/cyte09_already_sounds_awesome_kit_wise/

In general, spirits are high. Many community members are excited to see another stealth frame get added to the game, the prospect of an exalted sniper rifle many find fresh and interesting, and Cyte-09's kit seems to appeal to many Warframe fans. However, some do have concerns.

Considering the Warframe meta is so strongly focused on AoE damage potential, particularly when it comes to weapons, some worry that a sniper rifle might not be able to keep up in higher-level content. Some already anticipate replacing Cyte-09's sniper rifle ability? with something else.

Others wonder how 'bullets ricocheting off weak points to seek out other weak points' will work in the context of Cyte-09's overall kit and if that ricoc?het power will be enough to take down tough enemies with ease or not. Of course, this is all speculation in the here and now.

Xaku Prime is the latest Prime Warframe to come to the game, but alongside Xaku, we also got Trumna Prime and Quassus Prime. The Trumna is a particularly powerful weapon, capable of clearing entire rooms of enemies with the press of a single button. If you build it right, that?? is.

You'll need to get your Xaku relics, your Quassus relics, and your Trumna relics sorted out before y??ou can start playing around with these new additions, but if you're ready for some explosively serious DPS, keep reading for our? take on a low-cost Trumna Prime build.

How to build Trumna Prime in Warframe

Trumna Prime comes with solid critical chance and critical damage stats as well as an ?excellent status chance, so we'll be building it around scaling status damage with Galvanized Aptitude and getting critical hits. A weapons platform frame like Gauss is a perfect pairing with the Trumna.

The playstyle here is simple, sure, but satisfying. Simply?? charge up your Trumna's alternate fi?re by getting five kills, then activate your alternate fire for a room-clearing explosion courtesy of a bouncing grenade. If you've got a solid Riven, this weapon can get mind-bogglingly powerful.

The best Trumna Prime mods in Warframe

Trumna Prime Warframe build
Screenshot by Destructoid

T?he name of the game with mods is mitigating the Trumna's intense recoil with Stabilizer, boosting critical chance and damage with Vital Sense and Critical Delay, adding in viral damage, and then scaling that with Galvanized Aptitude. The last mod here is flexible, so feel free to add in a Riven.

Arcane: Primary Merciless

Exilus: Stabilizer

Mods:

  • Primed Cryo Rounds (Can swap with Rime Rounds)
  • Malignant Force
  • Galvanized Aptitude
  • Galvanized Chamber
  • Critical Delay
  • Vital Sense
  • Vile Acceleration
  • Radiated Reload (Can swap with Hammer Shot, Primed Firestorm, or a Riven)

On its own, the Trumna deals heat and impact damage, while we're modding for viral and radiation damage. Together, this gives you quite a few elements to scale Galvanized Aptitude's damage off. If you'd prefer a higher status ch??ance over extra viral damage, Rime Rounds works fine, too.

The flex mod slot here is Radiat??ed Reload. The Trumna's reload speed is rather slow, ??so this mod is nice to have, but Hammer Shot is a reliable pick, increasing status chance and critical damage. With Hammer Shot, you won't need to swap Primed Cryo Rounds for Rime Rounds, either.

Primed Firestorm is another option, but keep in mind that it'll only work with the Trumna's alternate fire. And the alternate fire grenade bounces around, already dealing damage in a fairly lar??ge range. Ideally, if you've got the currency for it, a good Riven is perfect for this particular build.

Kuva Lich and Sisters of Parvos weapons are some of the strongest weapons in Warframe, but with Warframe: 1999, a new class of weapon is being added: Infested weapons. These come to us by way of a new a??dversary system: the Technocyte Coda.

There's a ton of content in Waframe: 1999, and a new Prime is on the way, but keep reading to learn what the Technocyte Coda are, how the system will work, and what Infested weaponry you can look forward to playing with when Warframe: 1999 releases later this year.

What are the Technocyte Coda in Warframe?

//www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtF6jiLxc88

The Technocyte Coda are Warframe's latest adversary system that are Infested versions of Kuva Liches or Sisters of Parvos. Technocyte Coda are based on On-lyne, a 1999-era boyband in the Warfarme universe. On-lyne is made up of Zeke, Drillbit, Harddrive, DJ RoM, and Packet.

Instead of f??ighting Liches or Sisters, you'll be chasing Technocyte ??Coda 'band members' across your star map. However, the Technocyte Coda adversary system doesn't just have a new aesthetic and new weapons to unlock and upgrade, the system itself has some major upgrades.

How do Technocyte Coda work in Warframe?

Like always, you can't be targeted by a Sister or Lich to chase after a Technocyte Coda. To find a Technocyte Coda, you'll have to defeat Infested enemies in Warframe: 1999 content, which have a chance to drop a uniq?ue item on?? death.

Then, you'll bring the item to a nearby computer terminal, where you'll complete a hacking puzzle. Once the puzzle i??s completed, the process will continue after you extract from your mission, much like how it works once you capture a Kuva Lich or Sister of Parvos.

Once extracted, you'll be able to see your particular Technocyte Coda and any relevant customization in a splash screen, while your Technocyte Coda will rob you of certain resources at ??the end of missions until you defeat them, like a Sister of Parvos or Kuva Lich does.

You can face off with your Technocyte Coda in any Warframe: 1999 mission, and once?? you damage it enough, it'll become vu??lnerable to a Parazon attack. However, you will need a new set of Antivirus Parazon mods to use when fighting Technocyte Coda.

Antivirus mods are acquired in a 'specialized bounty mission' and are themed around 1999-era antivirus companies. After you damage your Technocyte Coda enough and figure ?out the correct order of Parazon Antivirus mods, you'll finish off the process with a Railjack mission.

Like with Sisters or Liches, you can either vanquish a Technocyte Coda, or you can convert it for trading. The big ??change with this system comes down to how you acquire certain weapons. Unlike Liches and Sisters, Technocyte Coda aren't attached to specific?? weapons.

How Technocyte Coda are different from Liches and Sisters in Warframe

Is Warframe 1999 a new game? Explained
Image via Digital Extremes

Instead of being able to see an attached weapon before you start your Technocyte Coda process, vanquishing Technocyte Coda will award you with currency that you can then spend on an Infested weapon of your choice at a ven?dor with a rotating selection of weapons.

It's currently unclear how much currency vanquishing a Technoc??yte Coda will award you as well as what the price??s of Infested weapons will be. Digital Extremes notes that the rotation will be similar to Ergo Glast's Tenet Weapons, and that system works as follows:

  • Five weapons are available
  • Rotation changes every four days
  • Only one purchase of a weapon is allowed per rotation
  • Weapons have random progenitor bonuses and increases

If the new vendor works exactly like Ergo Glast, you can expect fully upgrading Infested weaponry to take a lot longer than it would with Kuva or Tenet weapons. However, Digital Extremes has said the Technocyte Coda Vendor will be "similar" to Ergo Glast, so there may be changes.

What Infested weapons will be available in Warframe: 1999?

When Warframe: 1999 launches, 10 Infested weapons will be available. These are upgraded versions of pre-existing Warframe wea?ponry, though we don't have their stats just ye??t:

Primaries:

  • Hema
  • Sporothrix
  • Synapse

Secondaries:

  • Catabolyst
  • Pox
  • Tysis

Melees:

  • Caustacyst
  • Hirudo
  • Mire
  • Pathocyst

Digital Extr?emes also promises that three all-new Infested weapons will be added, but we currently don?'t have any details on what those weapons will be or how they'll perform.

If you want to summon a Sister of Parvos in Warframe, then chances are you're going to need to use the Xoris to help you do it. Here's everything you need to kn?ow about obtaining one.

Where to get the Xoris in Warframe

The Xoris is a Corpus-created Glaive that is quite powerful in its own right, but the main use for it is to help you conquer the Granum Void; a requirement for summoning a Sister of Parvos. Unlike mo?st base weapons in Warframe, you can??not outright purchase Blueprint or any of its components, at least not initially.

To get these, you must dive into the Deadlock Protocol questline, which will take you through the Granum Void for various story-related reasons. Most importantly, you will end up building the Xoris during the questline and will have to use it during too. The Deadlock Protocol can be accessed from your Codex.

The Deadlock Protocol in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

Once you've built a Xoris and completed The Dea?dlock Protocol questline, you can purchase additional Blueprints and parts from Cephalon Simaris, located at any normal relay, in case you ever need to build it again.

What does the Xoris do in Warframe?

As already mentioned, the Xoris is a Glaive and can be used for both close-range slashing and long-range explosi??ve attacks when thrown, allowing you to adapt to different enemy types and situations. Its base damage is evenly split between Slash, Puncture, and Impact, providing balanced performance against different enemy armor types. This is useful for building it against certain enemies.

The Xoris' has two special abilities, the first lying in its infinite combo duration when used with a fully charged throw. Unlike other melee weapons, the Xoriscombo counter doesn't decay, making it ideal for maintaining high damage output over extended fights. Additionally, it can be used to enhance abilities that scale with the combo counter, such as certain Warframe abilities like those of Khora, Valkyr, or Atlas, adding versatility beyond just melee combat.

Granum Void Entrance in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

The other ability is its extreme effectiveness against Errant Specters, common enemies you will encounter while in the Granum Void. The reason you want to use the Xoris in the Granum Void is because it will destroy an Errant Specter in a single throw. This is highly valuable when attempting to summon a Sister of Parvo, as you need to reach the first rank of rewards in a Zenith Granum Crown Void challenge in order to do so. Reaching the first rank requires killing a number of ?enemies in the Granum Void within a short amount of time, increasing the value o?f the Xoris in these encounters.

In Warframe, the Drifter is the Operator's counterpart, and while the Drifter can be used anywhere your Operator can, the Drifter has a ton of extra functionality in Duviri. Much like the Operator's Focus Schools, the Drifter has its own upgrade sy??stem in Duviri, Drifter Intrinsics.

??Keep reading for a breakdown of what the Drifter Intrinsics actually are, how you go about unlocking them, and which ??ones are the most important.

What are Drifter Intrinsics in Warframe?

Drifter Intrinsics are skill points for the Drifter. You can spend Drifter Intrinsics on four different categories of upgrades to make the Drifter more powerful in Duviri: Combat, Riding, Opportunity, and Endurance. Although, some upgrades will work outside of Duv??iri.

In general, though, the four ??categories of upgrades do the following:

  • Combat: Upgrades for the Drifter in combat
  • Riding: Upgrades for riding Kaithe
  • Opportunity: More options of weapons and Warframes in the Circuit
  • Endurance: Upgrades for the Drifter's survivability and Warframes in the Circuit

The vast majority of Intrinsics will only work in Duviri, and many Intrinsics will only apply in open-world Duviri content, not in the Circuit. How?ever, this is not a hard-and-fast? rule.

How to unlock Drifter Intrinsics in Warframe

Warframe Duviri Intrinsics
Screenshot by Destructoid

Unlike Railjack Intrinsics that are more like XP, Drifter Intrinsics are earned through decrees and completing various activities in Duviri, both in the Circuit and in the open-world.

When you complete a side objective in open-world Duviri, fi?nish a wave in the Circuit, or do one of the main objectives in op??en-world Duviri, you'll be rewarded with three Intrinsics each time. When you finish the Undercroft in open-world Duviri, you'll earn yourself six Intrinsics.

Finding a Lost Islands of Duviri Fragment will net you five Intrinsics, while defeating the final boss of open-world Duviri, the Orowyrm, will net you 15 Intrinsics on normal and 22 Intrinsics in Steel P??a??th. Simply killing enemies or playing content outside of Duviri will not earn Intrinsics.

You need 255 Intrinsics to max out a category, so with four categories, you'll need a total of 1020 Intrinsics t?o fully upgrade ??the Drifter, Kaithe, and your frames in the Circuit.

What Drifter Intrinsics are the best in Warframe?

In general, the most useful category is Opportunity. On the other hand, the least useful category is Riding. However, all categories are worth leveling if you play Du?viri.

Opportunity focuses on giving you more choice in the Circuit, and with better weapons and Warframes, you can last longer in the Circuit and more quickly unlock Incarnon weapons. Riding makes traversing open-world Duviri easier, but you can also earn decrees that ?do the same thing.

There are also In??trinsics that apply outside of Duviri, which are definitely?? worth getting:

  • Combat, Rank 9, Muscle Mass: Drifter and Operator deal 25% more damage
  • Endurance, Rank 9, Tough As Old Boots: Regenerate +5 health/s as Drifter and Operator

Ran?k 9 in Riding will unlock Kaithe for use in other open-worlds, but the Archwing is just a lot quicker. Endurance and Combat can definitely be a big help when playing The Lone Story, where ??you don't earn many decrees, but otherwise, decrees can make you plenty overpowered.

How to farm Drifter Intrinsics quickly in Warframe

Screenshot by Destructoid

As discussed above, pla??ying any of Duviri's three modes can earn y?ou Drifter Intrinsics, but not all three modes are equal when it comes to farming up Drifter Intrinsics.

The Circuit is just about the worst place to go for Intrinsics. Not only is it quicker to earn Intrinsics in The Lone Story and The Duviri E??xperience, but the Circuit is unreliable. Most co-op partners quit after just ??a few waves, and you have to get lucky on your loadout to go far anyway.

The Lone Story is decent for farming Intrinsics, because with a competent team it can be done fairly quickly and ear?n you around ~50 Intrinsics per run, but it's not the best. If your teammates aren't pulling their weight, The Lone Story can take a w?hile and not earn you much.

This all adds up to why The Duviri Experience is the absolute best place to farm Intrinsics. Yes, games can l??ast for over an hour, but you can earn 100s of Intrinsics in a single game. All you have to is complete as many side objectives as you can before eventually finishing the main stages.

Without a Progenitor, you can never get your hands on some of Warframe's most powerful, destructive weapons. They can be tricky to pin down, but fortunately, I own most of the weapons in question and can explain how you can find on?e of these tricky enemies.

Where to find a Progenitor in Warframe

To interact at all with Warframe's Nemesis (Kuva Lich/Sister) system, you must first turn a Progenitor into a Kuva Lich (Grineer) or Sister of Parvo (Corpus). This is done by 'killing' a Progenitor and stabbing him with you?r Parazon. The next time this Progenitor appears, he will have a name, a staple Element (based on the Warframe you used to kill it), and a serious attitude for you to adjust. More importantly, though, successfully killing this empowered Progenitor will yield a powerful weapon with bonus Elemental damage tied to the Element the Lich/S?ister was.

Now, where exactly can you find a Progenitor to begin this process? Despite ??how difficult they seem to find, they are quite easy to cast out of the shadows. I'll break down the process for both the Grineer and Corpus.

Grineer Progenitor - Kuva Larvling

Grineer Larvling in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

To spawn a Kuva Larvling, you must first have completed The War Within main quest. Afterward, any Grineer mission that spawns level 20 or higher enemies will have a chance to spawn a Kuva Larvling. During any normal Grineer mission, if your screen begins to flash, you must slay 10 enemies within one minute for a guaranteed appearance of a Kuva Larvling. I've found Capture Missions on the Grineer Asteroid tileset the easiest mission type for spawning Kuva Larvlings, as you will have a near-infinite source of enemies coming after you even after you've completed the objective??.

Once one has spawned for you, slay it and stab it with your Parazon to turn it into a Kuva Lich.

Corpus Progenitor - Candidate

Gold Hand Statue in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

Corpus Candidates are a bit more difficult to summon only because their requirements are a bit more strict. To spawn a Candidate, you must use a Zenith Granum Crown on any Corpus Ship mission and then reach Rank 1 rewards during the challenge. Kill the Corpus Treasurers that spawn to obtain Zenith Crowns. You must then use the Crown on a Gold Hand Tribute statue. Additionally, you must have completed The War Within and Call of the Temperstarii questlines before one can spawn for you.

If you've managed to get this far, then the process for dealing with a Candidate is the same as with the Kuva Larvling. Slay it and stab it with your Parazon to turn it into a Sister of Parvo.

What is a Progenitor Warframe?

The last piece of the puzzle is the Warframe you use to kill a Kuva Larvling or Candidate. As I mentioned, the Element the resulting Kuva Lich or Sister of Parvo will have depends entirely on which Warframe you used to slay it, thus a Progenitor Warframe. If you're looking for a specific element from one of the weapons a Lich or Sister drops, ensure to kill their premature forms with the correct Warframe.

In Warframe, the Helminth is an infested being that lives in your Orbiter. Yo??u can use ?the Helminth to transfer the ability of a Warframe to a different Warframe, add new abilities unlocked at the Helminth to Warframes, Invigorate Warframes to make them stronger for a limited time, insert Archon Shards into Warframes, and combine Archon Shards to make more powerful Shards.

The Helminth is an incredibly powerful mechanic every Warframe player should use, but it isn't explained well and can be confusing. Read on for a breakdown of all the v??arious Helminth systems ?as well as how to unlock your Helminth, how to upgrade it, and how to level it up efficiently.

How to unlock the Helminth in Warframe

The Helminth is located in the room in your Orbiter opposite to your personal quarters. The room itself becomes accessible when using Nidus, Nidus Prime, or a Warframe with a Helminth Cyst.

When using Nidus, you can enter the Helminth room and interact with the Helminth to receive a Helminth Cyst. Afterward, you can infect other Warframes you come into contact with during missio??ns. A day after being infected, a Helminth Cyst will appear on a Warframe.

However, you can't actually use the Helminth, even if you can access its room, until you purchase a Helminth Segment for your Orbiter. You can purchase the segment from Son at the Necralisk on Deimos. You will need to be Mastery Rank 8 and Rank 3 with the Entrati.

The Helminth Segment costs 15,000 standing, and its crafting requirements are:

  • 5 Purple Velocipod Tags
  • 20 Adramal Alloy
  • 5 Saturated Muscle Mass
  • 15 Ganglion

After a 24-hour crafting time, you'll be directed to the Helminth room, and you'll be given ??a chance to name your Helminth. Then, you can start using i?t. However, to access Invigorations, Archon Shards, or to be able to upgrade Archon Shards, you'll need to upgrade your Helminth.

How to upgrade the Helminth in Warframe

There are th??ree different upgrades, by way of Orbiter? segments, for the Helminth.

The Helminth Invigoration Segment allows you to Invigorate Warframes, which gives a Warframe temporary buffs that last for a week. You can purchase the segment from Son at the Necralisk on Deimos. You need to be Mastery Rank 8 and Rank 5 with the Entrati.

A Helminth Invigoration Segment costs 30,000 standing, and its crafting requirements are:

  • 5 Vizier Predasite Tags
  • 20 Tempered Bapholite
  • 10 Pustulent Cognitive Nodules
  • 15 Pustulite

The Helminth Archon Shard Segment allows you to socket Archon Shards into Warframes, which give Warframes powerful, permanent buffs. The Helminth Archon Shard Segment Blueprint is a reward for completing the Veilbreaker quest, and its crafting requirements are:

  • 2 Entrati Lanthorn
  • 10 Devolved Namalon
  • 5 Sporulate Sacs
  • 50 Thrax Prisms

The Helminth Coalescent Segment allows you to combine Archon Shards to create either more powerful versions of Shards or new types of Shards with different sets of buffs. You can purchase the segment from Bird 3 at Sanctum Anatomica on Deimos. You need to be Rank 2 with the Cavia.

A Helminth Coalesecent Segment costs 30,000 standing, and its crafting requirements are:

  • 50 Stela
  • 5 Echo Voca
  • 5 Entrati Lanthorn
  • 25 Necracoil

How to use the Helminth in Warframe

Warframe Helminth subsume
Screenshot by Destructoid

The Helminth's core mechanic is subsuming. Basically, you sacrifice a Warframe (a base variant, not a prime) to add one of it?s four abilities to the Helminth. Then, you can add that ability to other Warframes, overwriting one of their four abilities of your own choosing.

Once you subsume a frame to unlock an ability in the Helminth, that ability will be forever addable to other Warframes. However, only a specific ability on each Warframe is subsumable. This is done for balance reasons, and you can check the Wiki for the full list of subsumable abilities.

Keep in mind that a subsumed ability may work differently than the ability does normally on? its original frame. For example, Rhino's Roar is a subsumable ability and a very popular one at that, but Roar boosts damage less when subsumed onto another Warframe versus on Rhino himself.

It's also worth noting that Augment Mods can be used on Warframes with the corresponding subsumed ability. So, Rhino's Piercing Roar mod can be ?installed on any frame that has Roar. Ho??wever, some Augment Mods will have functionality specific to their original Warframe.

Aside from subsumed abilities, the Helminth has its own set of abilities you can add to frames, too. Some of the Helminth abilities are quite powerful, like Energized Munitions that makes your weapons only consume ammo every four shots instead of every shot whi??le it's active.

However, you can't do any of the above without ??the ??necessary resources.

How to feed the Helminth in Warframe

Warframe Helminth feeding
Screenshot by Destructoid

Regardless of whether you're Invigorating a Warframe, socketing in Archon Shards, or subsuming abilities, every Helminth action has a price. And you pay in Secretions.

There are seven different categories of Secretions made up of various resources from across the game. For example, the Oxides Secretion is made up of metal resources, like Alloy Plates. By feeding the ?Helminth these resources, your Oxide Secretion fills up.

A Secretion can be filled up to a maximum of 100%. How much a particular resource fills up a Secretion depends on your Helminth's appetite. The more you feed your Helminth a particul??ar resource, the less it will fill up its Secretion. So, you'll n??eed to vary what you feed your Helminth.

However, if you give your Hel??minth some time after feeding it, feeding it that resource again will fill up your Secretion as normal. Wha?t your Helminth is hungry for is represented by arrows on that resource in the feeding menu. The Helminth can be hungry, not hungry, or neutral.

A green arrow means the Helminth is hungry fo?r that resource, so you'll fill up your Secretion the maximum amount, while a red arrow means it's tired of something, and you'll fill up your Secretion a lot less. No arrow means your Helminth is neutral on the resource i??n question.

Lastly, the Sentient Secretion works differently from the rest. You can feed your Helminth Sentient resources to restore its appetite ?for a particular resource. So, if you have a lot of one resource the Helminth is tired of, you can change its arrow from red to green by feeding it.

How to level the Helminth in Warframe

Warframe Helminth level
Screenshot by Destructoid

How many Warframes you can subsume, as well as what Helminth abilities you have access to, is determined by your Helminth's Metamorphosis rank. Essentially, this is the level of y?our Helminth. To even begin subsuming frames, you need to be at Metamorph?osis Rank 1.

Leveling your Helminth is simple. By feeding it resources, subsuming Warframes, socketing in Archon Shards, or Invigorating frames, you'll get Metamorphosis XP. However, ??leveling your Helminth quickly is a more difficult task, especially considering the resource costs of feeding it.

Invigorations give you tons of Metamorphosis XP, so even if you don't plan on using a particular frame, Invigorating is a great way to level up fast. ??You should also take care when feeding your Helmint??h not to waste your resources, which means wasting precious Metamorphosis XP.

A resource with a green arrow can fill up a Secreti??on b??y up to 30%, so feeding your Helminth a resource it's hungry for when the corresponding Secretion is already at 90% isn't very efficient. So, don't feel the need to keep your Secretion levels at 100%, just fill them up as you need to.

You also c?an remove a subsumed ability fro??m a Warframe and then add a new one, which can be an effective way of spending your Secretions that in turn can be filled up again both of which will give you Metamorphosis XP. Just be careful not to feed your Helminth resources you need.

As a word of caution, even when you're being efficient, the Helminth isn't something that most players can just reach the maximum level with in a few days. Depending on how many frames you have to subsume as?? well as what resources you have, it can take a month or longer.

Warframe's last prime frame, Sevagoth, was released in late August, so it's likely we'll see another one before the year's out. (Probably somewhere around when Warframe: 1999 drops.) But who's coming next? Sevagoth marked a major change in the release cadence of prime frames, which has led many to speculate that Xaku Prime will be the next addition to Warframe.

People are still digesting the Koumei & the Five Fates update like the new frame or the tons of QOL added, but others are looking toward the future. Xaku would be the first non-binary prime Warframe, which would explain why Sevagoth changed how prime frames release. So, here's everything you need to know about Warframe's next prime frame.

Sevagoth changed how prime frames are added to Warframe

How to get Sevagoth Prime Relics in Warframe
Image via Digital Extremes

Since 2012, developer Digital Extremes has stuck to a Male-Male-Female-Female release cadence for prime Warframes. This, in part, explains why precisely when new frames get added to the game doesn't exactly pred??ict the date their prime ??counterpart will come out.

However, Sevagoth, the last prime Warframe released, changed this cadence, making the sequence go Male-Male-Female-Male for the first time since the game's ??launch. It may not sound like a big deal, but changing a pattern that's been kept up for over a decade is worth some thought.

Here are all the Warframes released since 2023:

  • Sevagoth Prime, Male, August 2024
  • Protea Prime, Female, May 2024
  • Gauss Prime, Male, January 2024
  • Grendel Prime, Male, October 2023
  • Wisp Prime, Female, July 2023
  • Hildryn Prime, Female, March 2023

Digital Extremes hasn't elaborated on why this has changed, nor have they announced what's coming next, but that's nothing unusual. While there may not be an official explanation, there is an unofficial one: Digital Extremes is setting up Xaku to be Warframe's next prime frame.

Why Xaku could be Warframe's next prime frame

Canonically, Xaku is a non-binary Warframe, the first in Warframe history. What's more is that Xaku was the next Warframe introduced after Protea, making 2024 about when you'd expect to see Xaku?? Prime released. However, a Male-Male-Female-Female release schedule complicates thing?s.

It makes sense that Digital Extremes wouldn't want to release Xaku in a traditionally male or female slot. But with the release of Sevagoth? Prime, the next Warframe could be either male or female, considering that the pattern's been broken, and this makes it the perfect time to drop a Xaku Prime.

Although, since there aren't more non-binary frames just yet, as well as the fact that if Xaku is next there will only have bee??n one female frame released from late 2023 through early 2025, the pattern would likely be reestablished after Xaku Prime, meaning the following release schedule:

  • Caliban Prime, Male, Early 2026
  • Lavos Prime, Male, Late 2025
  • Gyre Prime, Female, Mid 2025
  • Yareli Prime, Female, Early 2025
  • Xaku Prime, Non-Binary, Late 2024

Some members of the community point out that a release schedule like the above would mean Lavos ??getting the short end of the stick, since he released right after Xaku (and before Sevagoth), but if Digital Extremes does plan to return things to normal after Xaku, this is the most likely order.

Why Xaku might not be Warframe's next prime frame

//www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/1eoufjm/do_you_think_xaku_should_be_primed/

On the other side of things, some argue that Xaku's lore makes it impossible ?for them to get a prime version. Though this would be the first Warframe that didn't ge??t a prime counterpart, Xaku's position in the lore is undoubtedly unique, particularly in terms of how they were created.

Instead of being created by the Orokin, Xaku was created after three Warframes lost in the Void fused together. So, X?aku isn't a traditional Warframe, if they're even a 'Warframe' in the traditional sense of the word when it comes to the lore, meaning a Xaku Prime might? not make sense.

However, others have pointed out that another Warframe, Revenant, wasn't created by the Orokin either, but there's a Revenant Prime in the game. It would certainly be unusual if Xaku didn't get a prime counterpart?, but the release of Sevagoth Prime is already a departure from the norm.

Ultimately, we'll have to wai??t and see what Digital Extremes does at the end of the year when we can reasonably expect the release of another prime frame, so keep your eyes peeled.

Warframe's 1999 demo is now live in the game, and Digital Extremes has also revealed a new single from the 1999 soundtrack, The Call, for your listening enjoyment. No, an official 1999 release date has not been announced just yet??, but everything points to sometime in December 2024.

If you haven't been keeping up-to-date with what's going on in Warframe, the Koumei & the Five Fates update has a new frame to check out, a Caliban rework, and tons of QOL, among?? other changes. But? keep on reading to find out everything you need to know about the new demo.

To start off, Digital Extremes has unveiled a new single from the 1999 soundtrack: The Call. You can listen directly on YouTube above, but you can also find the song on Spotify and Apple Music. The Call was originally heard during TennoCon 2024 where the community was quickly ??taken with it.

As you'll be able to hear, The Call is a very punky, very 90s track that takes a lot of inspiration from groups like Sonic Youth. This makes a lot of sense coming after On-lyne, another 1999 track from TennoCon 2024??, that feels similarly 90s, taking inspirati??on from boy bands like NSYNC.

Give it a listen, and get yourself excited for Warframe: 1999 if you aren't already.

Warframe's 1999 demo is now live in the game

Warframe's next big expansion, 1999, is set to radically expand the game in major ways with a new open-world environment, the city of Höllvania, a rideable motorcycle, Protoframe skins, infested liches, and so, so much more. And now, you can ?get a taste of that thanks to this demo.

According to Digital Extremes' announcement, the foll?owing is available to check out now:?

  • A section of Höllvania
  • The rideable Atomicycle motorcycle vehicle
  • A look at the new Scaldra faction of combatants
  • A fresh take on the classic ‘Exterminationâ€?mission
  • The Protokol Longsword Skin

If you want to unlock the Protokol Longsword Skin, you will have to complete the demo mission, but remember, the demo is just a taste of what's to come, so don't expect a big g?rind or tons of content. To access the demo, interact with the new console at the front of your Orbiter.

You also will need to have completed the Awakening and Vor's Prize quests first. Altho??ugh, these are very early quests, so chances are you've already completed them. If you're new to the game, though, and want to see what 1999 is all about, you won't have to get through much to t??ry it out.

In Warframe, Focus Schools are Operator-based talent trees that provide significant buffs and additional mechanics to your standard Warframe's playstyle. There are five different schools so here's a breakdown of all five, and how they bene??fit you to invest into.

All Five Focus Schools in Warframe

The five Focus Schools in Warframe are all tied directly to your Operator, and provide meaningful buffs to both your Operator and Warframe alike. These are Madurai, Naramon, Zenurik, Unairu, and Vazarin. While you can invest in all five, only one can be considered Active, and only the active S?chool will provide any benefits.

Madurai

Maduari Tree in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

The Madurai School is primarily focused on greatly empowering your Amps increasi??ng their damage output and energy efficiency while allowing you to apply damage amplification buffs/debuffs to yourself and enemies around you. It i??s an offensive school meant for players interested in using their Operator as much as their Warframe, switching in and out of Warframe-to-Operator form like a dance.

The Key Focus nodes for Maduari are Inner Gaze, Eternal Gaze, Power Transfer, and Void Strike.

  • Inner Gaze - Increase Energy for Amps and Void Beam
  • Eternal Gaze - Increases Energy Regeneration for Amps and Void Beam
  • Power Transfer - Increases Amp Critical Damage when swapping to Operator, and Casting Speed when swapping to Warframe
  • Void Strike - Active ability that increases Damage by a percentage amount of the Energy consumed to use this ability

These f?our nodes highly emphasize the offensive-swap gameplay required to reap the benefits of Maduari and should be invested first a??nd foremost.

Naramon

Naramon Tree in Warframe

The Naramon School focuses heavily on improving the Offensive Melee and Mobility capabilities of both your Warframe and Operator while offering some light crowd control as side helping. T?he tree significantly improves Finisher Damage while also making Combos last longer. Active abilities focus on Mobility and Crowd Control. For players interested close-quarter combats, Naramon is absolutely the best choice.

The Key Focus nodes of Naramon are Opening Slam, Power Spike, Sling Stun, and Killer's Rush.

  • Opening Slam - When performing a Slam attack, automatically swap to your Warframe and gain Double Combo generation
  • Power Spike - Melee Combos now decay slowly while out-of-combat instead of all at once
  • Sling Stun - Active ability that increases the width of your next Void Sling, and hitting an enemy with a Void Sling causes them to take more damage from Finishers
  • Killer's Rush - Starting a Finisher with your Operator automatically swaps to your Warframe, and your Melee Critical Chance is increased

These nodes prioritize improving your Me?lee damage ?and emphasize the focus on getting up and personal with your foes. As such, they should be your priority if you choose to Focus on the Naramon school.

The Zenurik School focuses almost entirely on granting you constant Energy Regeneration allowing you to use your Operator's and Warframe abilities as you please. As a Utility-based school, it is meant to b??e played secondary to your standard Warframe gameplay and provides significant Energy to nearby allies as well.

The Key Focus nodes of Zenurik are Energy Pulse, Wellspring, and Hardened Wellspring.

  • Energy Pulse - Picking up Energy Orbs provides bonus Energy over time.
  • Wellspring - Active ability that creates a conduit of Energy that restores Energy over time when passed through. Works for you and allies.
  • Hardened Wellspring - Using Wellspring within an active Wellspring increases its size and improves Ability Strength for all that pass through it.

These nodes support the heavy focus on Energy that Zen?urik offers its followers. If you're playing Warframes that want to use their abilities often, consider Zenurik as your school of choice.

Unairu

The Unairu School focuses on improving your Defensive capabilities whil??e also providing several extremely powerful abilities that can easily be used to cripple heavily armored or shielded foes. As a Utility-based school, Unairu's natural ability to deal with well-defended enemies allows f??ollowers of the tree to focus their weapons around other disciples rather than directly countering the enemies they face.

The Key Focus nodes of Unairu are Poise, Caustic Strike, Magnetic Flare, and Stone Skin

  • Poise - Gain total immunity to Crowd Control effects when transferring between Warframe and Operator forms
  • Caustic Strike - Activite ability that launches an energy bomb that Strips the Armor of any enemies hit by it.
  • Magnetic Flare - Active ability that creates a radical field that Disables the Shields of any enemies within
  • Stone Skin - Provides an unconditional Armor bonus to your Operator and Warframe at all times

These nodes heavily emphasize the value of choosing the Unairu School as your Focus. The versatility this school offers is unparalleled in Warframe and is a strong choice for those who desire n?ot to have to build around the enemies they face, always having the answer to any problem in Operator form.

Vazarin

The Varazin School focuses on dramatically improvin??g your healing and ability to support allies through Health Regeneration and Immunities. As a Support-focused school, Vazarin has little offensive capabilities and should be played only as necessary, when ?healing becomes a requirement, as it does not offer much beyond this scope.

The Key Focus nodes of Vazarin are Void Regen, Squad Regen, Mending Unity, Guardian Shell, and Protective Sling

  • Void Regen - Regenerate Health over time, increasing the longer you remain in Void Mode to a cap.
  • Squad Regen - When Void Regen reaches its Health Regeneration capstone, spread the effects of Void Regen to your allies with Affinity Range.
  • Mending Utility - Improves the radius of your Affinity Range, making to easier for allies to gain your beneficial effects
  • Guardian Shell - Activity ability that places an Immunity barrier on you and your allies within Affinity Range. The barrier is immune to all damage initially but can be damaged after several seconds have passed.
  • Protective Sling - All allies hit by your Void Sling are granted complete damage Immunity for a short time and receive healing over time

These nodes well-reflect the supportive nature of Vazar??in F??ocus School and should prioritize first before taking anything else in the tree. If you're a player who loves to support the team, consider investing in Vazarin.

Warframe 1999 is a unique upcoming update that sort of ties back to the events of Digital Extremes' Dark Sector. Here's everything we know about it, including when it i??s slated to relea?se.

When is Warframe 1999 going to be released?

While there is no strict date set for the Warframe 1999 update, we do know that it will be coming in Winter 2024, which will highly likely end up being sometime in December. The update is slated to be rather beefy thanks to the subject matter, but we'll let you know the details once more have been relea?sed.

Considered an 'expansion' by the developers, we got a sneak peek of the update during the Whispers in the Walls quest line. During this, players got to go back in time to the age of the very first Tenno, Hayden Tenno, who was, incidentally, the protagonist of Dark Sector. The segment was very short but gave a highly impactful?? preview for whats to come.

What is Warfarme 1999?

Warframe 1999 is an expansive update for Warframe that will contain a story quest relating to Dark Sector protagonist, Hayden Tenno. The '1999' portion relates to the year of the events of this questline, which is a massive jump back in time for players of Warframe.

Unlike the rest of Warframe, Warframe 1999 will feature dark urban streets and 'modern-sci-fi' features over the high-sci elements the rest of the game already offers. Weapons and enemies will also feature a 'modern' sci-fi twist, that is sure to bring a unique experience to Warframe players, long-time and new.

On October 16, all Warframe players will get to try out Warframe 1999 early with a demo that highlights what to expect from the expansion. Participating in the demo will, additionally, earn all players the Protokil Longsword skin as a free additional ??gift. Simply claim it from your mailb?ox once you log in.

To access the demo, players will need to have minimally completed the Awakening and Vor's Prize questlines, which is effectively the game's tutorial. You do not need to have completed Whispers in the Wall or any other questline in Warframe to participate.

If you're looking to play the full version of Warframe 1999 on release, however, there are several main story quests you need to have completed first?? and foremost.

  • Vor's Prize
  • Saya's Vigil
  • Vox Solaris
  • Once Awake
  • Heart of Deimos
  • The Archwing
  • Natah
  • The Second Dream
  • Rising Tide
  • The War Within
  • Chains of Harrow
  • Apostasy Prologue
  • The Sacrifice
  • Prelude to War
  • The New War
  • Whispers in the Walls
  • The Lotus Eaters

All of these quests can be accessed in-game via your Codex, and you also check your progress on them. Some may individually require additional prerequisites to begin, but you have time to get these all done before the official release of Warframe 1999.

Having access to an Archwing in open environments can massively save you transversal ??time in Warframe. Thus, getting an Archwing Launcher Segment should be a priority if ??you spend a lot of time planetside; here's how you can get one.

Where to get an Archwing Launcher Segment in Warframe

The Archwing Launcher Segment is an Orbiter modification that allows you to install an Archwing Launcher on your ship. This, as a result, will enable you to ?deploy your Archwing in open-field areas (Cambion Drift, Plains of Eidolon, and Orb Vallis). This is ridiculously useful for exploring those large areas, as moving on foot will waste a lot of your time.

That said, there are two ways you can obtain an Archwing Launcher Segment. The first and easiest is to buy it directly from the Warframe Market. It costs only 175 Platinum, and while Platinum is Warframe's premium currency, you can e??arn it fairly easily by selling Void-??related goods to other players. I recommend farming up a few rare items from Void Missions and then selling them off if you don't need them. Players are always looking for these trinkets (because of their rarity); thus there is always a decent-sized market for them.

The other method of obtaining an Archwing Launcher Segment is by joining a clan, researching it at the Tenno Lab, and then building it up from scratch. This method will take you considerably more time to complete, so I don't recommend going this route, especially? if you're a solo player. If you insist, however, here are the required materials for research and crafting the component.

Researching Costs:

  • 20,000x Credits
  • 2x Tellurium
  • 5000x Polymere Bundle
  • 800x Cryotic
  • 600x Oxium
  • 72 Hours (Real-time)

Crafting Costs:

  • 100,000x Credits
  • 50x Grokdrul
  • 50x Iradite
  • 1,200x Oxium
  • 12 Hours (Real-time)

How to use the Archwing Launcher in Warframe

Once you've crafted/purchased an Archwing Launcher Segment and installed it on your Orbitor, you can access the Archwing Launcher. The Archwing Launcher is considered Gear in your inventory, so you'll need to first place it on your Gear Wheel before you can use it.

When it is on your Gear Wheel, head to any open-field map and cycle to the Archwing Launcher on the wheel. Doing so will automatically deploy our Archwing on the map. You can stay airborne indefinitely, and you have infinite uses for you??r Archwing Launcher. You can also fire your weapons while it is deployed but cannot use your Warframe's abilities at the same time. You can, however, make use of your Archwing's abilities instead.

With the release of Warframe's Koumei & the Five Fates, several old and outdated weapons received brand new Incarnon forms, bringing them back into the limelight. If you're interested in these old favorites and want to pick them up for your use, here's how you c?an do so.

Every new Incarnon and how to get them in Warframe: Koumei & the Five Fates

In total, five new Incarnons were added with the update's release, and the weapons that received them have effectively been brought back into relevancy. Before I get into them, if you're not sure what an Incarnon weapon is, it is a system introduced into Warframe several updates ago designed to greatly empower old weapons so that they become ???viable once more.

Typically, when we?apons receive Incarnon forms, they become some of the strongest weapo??ns in the game, often gaining significant new mechanics on top of all the buffs that come with them. That said, let's jump into which weapons received the polish this time around.

Dera (Base, Vandal)

The Dera in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

Both the Base and Vandal versions of the Dera have become eligible for Incanron empowerment. The Incarnon form of the Dera allows it to fire high-powered beams and gain base access to Magnetic damage typing. Note that the Dera can still be used as a standard laser rifle, and to gain access to the beams, it needs to Incarnon Transform first.

Like all Incarnon weapons, you first need to build up its Incarnon Gauge before it can transform. This is done by scoring headshots with the base weapon. When you have enough Incarnon Gauge (it doesn't need to be full), pressing the Alternative Fire button will transform it.

Some key notes about the Dera's Incanron Form:

  • Uses a separate magazine from the standard
  • Beams grant increased Punch Through, Damage, Critical Chance, and Critical Multiplier
  • Reduced Status Chance and Fire Rate
  • Gains Magnetic Damage

To install the Incarnon on the Dera, you will need to use a Dera Incarnon Genesis, which is purchased for 120 Platninum from Cavalero in the Chrysalith. Y??ou will also need the following ma??terials for the process:

  • 20x Path Clamps
  • 80x Eevani
  • 70x Ueymag

Sybaris (Base, Prime, Dex)

The Sybaris in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

All three obtainable versions of the Sybaris have received Incarnon empowerment for this update. The Incarnon form allows the Sybaris to fire in four-round bursts? and gain access to the Blast Status effect. To access this improved burst mode and the Blast Damage, the Sybaris needs to be in Incarnon Form after being charged up through headshots.

Key notes about the Incarnon Form:

  • Uses a separate magazine from the standard
  • Gains Blast Damage and Blast Status is guaranteed on Hit
  • Increases Damage, Critical Multiplier, and Status Chance
  • Reduces Critical Chance

To install the Incarnon transformation onto the Sybaris, you will need to use a Sybaris Incarnation Genesis, which can be purchased for 120 Platninum from Cavelero. You will also need the following ma?terials ?for the process:

  • 20x Path Clamps
  • 150x Saggen Peral
  • 70x Ueymag

Cestra

The Cestra in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

The Incarnon Form of the Cestra sidearm allows it to gradually increase its Critical Chance the longer it is fired, uninterrupted. Unlike the previous mentions Incarnons, it does not gain any new status effects. Even so, this mechanic is a massive boost to the Cestra's damage thanks to how Criticals scale in Warframe. To gain this mechanic, the Cestra must be in its Incarnon Form, which is charged up by?? landing headshots.

Key notes about the Incarnon Form:

  • Uses a separate magazine from the standard
  • Critical Chance is increased the longer it is fired
  • Innately increases base Critical Chance, Critical Multiplier, Damage, and Status Chance
  • Fire Rate is reduced

Installing the Incarnon Form onto the Cestra will require using a Cestra Incarnon Genesis,? obtained by purchasing it fro??m Cavelero for 120 Platinum. You will also need the following materials:

  • 20x Pathos Clamps
  • 150x Saggen Pearl
  • 80x Kovnik

Sicarus (Base, Prime)

The Sicarus Prime in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

The Incarnon Form of the Sicarus (both types) allows the weapon's bullets to ricochet when fired. This ricochet is not random, as the ricochet will hit targets close to the main? one. To gain access to this, the Sicarus must b?e in its Incarnon Form, which is charged up by landing headshots.

Key notes about the Incarnon Form:

  • Uses a separate magazine from the standard
  • Bullets will ricochet to one additional target
  • Ricochets have innate Punch Through
  • Increased Damage, Critical Chance, and Critical Multiplier

Installing the Incarnon Form for? the Sicarus will require using a Sicarus Incarnon Genesis, purchased by Cavelero for 120 Platinum. Additionally, you will need the following materials:

  • 20x Pathos Clamps
  • 100x Nacreous Pebble
  • 150x Aggristone

Okina (Base, Prime)

The Okina in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

My personal favorite of the bunch, the Incarnon Form of the Okina (both versions), causes kills with the weapon to generate spectral daggers that seek out enemies, applying maximum Cold Status stacks to them. Since the Okina is a melee weapon, it does not rely on headshots to charge its Incarnon Gauge. Instead, you must reach a Melee Combo Multiplier of 6x to activate its Incarnon Form.

Key notes about the Incarnon Form:

  • Kills create a single dagger that flies off toward an enemy
  • One Dagger applies 10 Cold Stacks
  • Daggers have an explosive radius, applying 1 Cold Stack to nearby enemies
  • Incarnon Form lasts for 180 seconds

To apply the Incarnon Form to the Okina, you will need to use a Okina Incarnon Genesis, which is obtaina??ble from Cavelero for 120 Platinum. You will also need the following materials to complete the process:

  • 20x Pathos Clmaps
  • 20x Maw Fangs
  • 80x Lamentus

How to unlock the Incarnon System in Warframe

In order to use any Incarnon weapon, you must unlock the ability to p??urchase them first. Unfortunately, this is not an easy task, as the Incarnon System wa?s designed for veteran players first and foremost. The process of unlocking requires several important criteria to be met.

  • Complete The Duviari Paradox questline
  • Complete the Angels of the Zariman questline
  • Unlock The Steel Path

The easiest of this bunch is the completion of The Duviari Paradox because new players can choose to begin their life in Warframe from this quest. Simply following the questline and its objectives will al?low you to complete this part pretty easil??y. The Duviari Paradox is also rather short.

The Duviri Paradox quest in Warframe

The Angels of the Zariman, on the other hand, will require the completion of several major prerequisite questlines that le??ad directly into this one's story. The Angels of the Zariman is required because Cavelero is an N?PC located on the Zariman itself, which means you cannot purchase from him if this questline is not finished.

The Angels of Zari quest in Warframe

Unlocking The Steel Path is by far the most difficult portion of the unlocking process, as it requires you to complete all of the main mission nodes on every planet in the Solar System. The Steel Path mode significantly boosts the difficulty of a majority of Warframe's ??missions, requiring you to have extremely solid builds, well-built gear (Warframes and weapons), and a degree of skill to handle the much more powerful enemies present.

Warframe - Incarnon Evolutions, explained

All Incarnon weapons have access to an Incarnon Form, which allows them to transform into a much more powerful ve??rsion of themselves for a limited time. However, the power of Incarnon does not stop here, as all Incarnon weapons also have access to Evolutions to further boost thei??r power.

Incarnon Evolution in Warframe
Screenshot by Destructoid

Incarnon Evolutions give Incarnon weapons permanent buffs in their base and Incarnon forms. Most Incarnon weapons have four or five Evolutions available to them, with the first one always being the ability to use the Incarnon Form they have. Further Evolutions require you to complete weapon-specific challenges that allow them to Evolve into their next state. Success with one of these challenges will allow your ?Incarnon weapon to evolve, letting you select between one to? three perks to boost the weapon's power.

T?he Felerax Incarnon weapon, for example, requires you to complete a Solo Mission with an Incarnon weapon in every gear slot to reach its fifth and final Evolution. As the final Evolution, the reward is the ability to pick between three different perks that dra??matically boost the power of the Felerax.
