Lancetfish Paella is a complicated five-star dish you can make in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which requires tough fish to make. It's located in a far-off space that is hard ??to reach for newcomers?? to the game.

Where to find Lancetfish Paella Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredients

You'll require five different ingredients to make Lancetfish Pae?l??la. They are:

  • Lancetfish
  • Tomato
  • Shrimp
  • Any kind of seafood like Shrimp or Squid
  • Rice

Lancetfish can be fished from the Forgotten Lands. It's the hardest biome to reach in Disney Dreamlight Valley, unfortunately, and will require a lot of Dreamlight to unlock. Once you've finally reached the dark area, fish from the ponds in the area and look for blue ripples. This is where the Lancetfish lurk. You may get other kinds of fish from the catch too but be persistent. I w??as able to find mi?ne the first time, however.

Tomatoes and their seeds can be bought at Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach. The seeds can be bought for 8 Star Coins each from one of Mickey's best friends. You may be lucky because the tomatoes themselves may be up for sale too. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case today for me. You might also find a fresh Tomato from Wall-E's garden; thankfully, luck was on my side this time. They're also used as a Ratatouille ingredient.

Shrimp can be caught while fishing at Dazzle Beach nearby Goofy's Stall, thankfully. Catching two of them is easier to do for any kind of seafood addition, but if you have any spa??re Squid in your inventory you might as well use that. While trying to catch Shrimp, look for blue ripples in the ocean.

Lastly, Rice can be bought at Goofy's Stall in the Glade of Trust. You can buy the seeds for 35 Star Coins each or the ingredient itself? for 92 Star Coins. It's worth the extra money to just get the ingredient, but if you want to save money, you can grow the Rice yourself.

Where to cook

You can cook your meal at any stove in Disney Dreamlight Valley. There's one in your house or i?f you've finished Remy's realm in the castle, at Chez Re??my. Throw all of the ingredients in the pot, and you should have your Lancetfish Paella. Bon appetite!

There is a huge variety of different fish available to catch and catalog in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and they a?ll have specific recipes that call for them. One of thes?e fish, the Lancetfish, can be particularly elusive.

Although you should definitely cook your Lancetfish before consuming them, even some Lancetfish Sushi (not an actual recipe in DDLV) will net you 1,300 energy when consume??d. Lancetfish is also a particularly lucrative fish to hunt for, with each selling to Goofy for 650 Star Coins.

As with all fish and items in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can also use it as a decoration. It takes up a 2x1 area when placed. To put your Lancetfish on display, enter your inventory and drop it, then enter the furniture menu and move it to ?where you want it.

The Lancetfish can only be caught in the Forgotten Lands, so you’ll need to unlock the area for 15,0??00 Dreamlight before you ?can get to fishing. With that done, you’ll need to look for blue ripples, which is where the problems begin.

There isn’t a lot of water in the Forgotten Lands, and because of this, there are very few fishing spots that can spawn in the biome. If you’re wanting to hoard a bunch of Lancetfish, or hoping to make a quick buck selling them, you’re likely going to have to make a few circuits of the area i?n order to empty out the rest of the fishing spots.

You’ll need to catch one Lancetfish as part of Prince Eric’s level 3 friendship quest “Part of His Worldâ€?to make some Bait. You don’t actually ne??ed to make the Bait, just take the ingredi??ents to Remy and he’ll do it for you.

Lancetfish is a necessar?y ingredient to make Lancetfish Paella, which calls for the?? following list of ingredients:

  • 1 Lancetfish
  • 1 Shrimp
  • 1 of any Seafood
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Rice

When cooked, you can sell this meal for 1,653 Star Coins, which is a pretty hefty profit compared to the ingredients. When consumed, it will restore 4,550 energy, which is enough to completely fill your energy bar and then some. Lancetfish Paella is actually among the top t??hree meals in terms of energy.

You can also use Lancetfish in any recipe that calls for one of any?? fish, although all o??f these will end up with you making a loss if you choose to use this expensive fish as the star ingredient:

Thanks to the roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley, we know that Sally of Nightmare Before Christmas fame is heading for the valley soon, but she’s nothing without her Pumpkin King. Jack Skellington is available for all, but his ?unl??ock quest is a doozy.

Not because it’s particularly difficult, but more because of the amou?nt of frustration you’re likely to feel if you fall into a certain category of unlu?cky players. There are a few steps to get through, so let’s get started.

How to unlock Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Pumpkin Tree in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Screenshot by Destructoid

Jack is ?unlocked by completing a quest called “Something Comes A’Knocking but you can’t s??tart that until you’re met some requirements:

  • Unlock the Forgotten Lands (15,000 Dreamlight)
  • Restore all six of the Pillars around the Valley:

    • Pillar of Friendship (Peaceful Meadow)
    • Pillar of Power (Dazzle Beach)
    • Pillar of Trust (Glade of Trust)
    • Pillar of Nurturing (Sunlit Plateau)
    • Pillar of Courage (Forest of Valor)
    • Pillar of Love (Frosted Heights)

  • Unlock t?he Fairy Godmother and complete the qu??est â€?a href="//jbsgame.com/all-disney-dreamlight-valley-characters-and-how-to-unlock-them/">Miracles Take Timeâ€?/li>

After you’ve completed “Miracles Take Timeâ€?a mysterious tree will emerge in the Forgotten Lands that has a pumpkin carved on it. It’s a familiar tree for any fan of Nightmare Before Christmas, and this is the beginning of your efforts to unlock Jack. Sadly, you don't actually get to go to Pu?mpkin Town.

How to find the Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Before you can actually meet Jack for the first time, you’re going to need to find four Matryoshka Dolls. In case you’re uncertain what you’re looking for, these are otherwise known as Russian Dolls that fit inside each other. And, sadly, that’s about as? much help as I can give you on this front.

There are four diffe??rently sized Dolls to find, ranging from a big one down to a tiny one. They can spawn anywh?ere in the village, including in the Forgotten Lands, so you’ll need to keep an eye out for them while you go about your duties. They’ll be surrounded by the same golden glitter effect as any other quest item.

If you’ve been wandering around your Valley for hours and not getting anywhere like me when I did this quest, I suggest heading into the furniture menu, especially if you have a very decorated Valley?.

Those decorations could be hiding the Dolls, an??d going into the furniture menu allows you to move items around to see beneath them. Not to mention that moving around this way is also much quicker than physically running around to locate ??the Dolls.

What to do with the Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley

?When you’ve eventually gathered up all four differently-sized Dolls, go back to the Forgotten Lands and make your way to the pumpkin tree. You’ll be able to place all four of the Dolls in front of the tree one by one, which will cause Jack ?to appear. You'll also get to keep the Dolls, and they make for cute decorations.

All that’s left to do from there is to build Jack’s house. It’s a shrunken-down version ?of his house from the film and costs?? 5,000 Star Coins to build. With that done, Jack will be moving in and making himself at home in no time. Just don't leave him in charge of presents at Christmas.

There are a huge number of characters who can move into the Valley in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and more are added regularly. If you’re just diving into your Disney adventure, or fancy a change and want to start over, learning how to unlock all the Disney Dreamlight Valley characters can feel a little overwhelming.

There are a total of 43 confirmed characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley, including those included as part of the Rift in Time DLC:

  • Base game - 38 characters
  • Rift in Time - 5 characters

In an effort to make things slightly clearer, let’s break down all the characters you can invite to live in your game, how to unlock them, an??d some other helpful details.

All base game characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Some characters are easier to unlock than others, with many only becoming available to unlock once you?’ve opened a new area or raised enough Dreamlight to open a door in the castle.

There are 4 characters who are already situated in the Valley as soon as you start a?? new save file:

  • Mickey Mouse
  • Merlin
  • Goofy
  • Scrooge McDuck

Their houses will already be present (although they can be moved to wherever you like) an??d they act as your tutorial, helping you wrap your ?head around the mechanics of the game.

Outside of these four, each of ?the remaining 34 characters need? to be unlocked by completing a certain quest and meeting some prerequisites.

Belle and The Beast

To get Belle and The Beast in your? Valley, you’ll need to first unlock the Beauty and the Beast realm inside the castle using 12,500 Dreamlight. Then, you’ll need to complete the “A Prince in Disguisequest. As soon as you build Beast’s Castle as part of this quest, Belle will move to the Valley, with The Beast following slightly afterward during the final stage of the same quest.

Fairy Godmother

Before you can even think about unlocking the Fairy Godmother and enjoying her bibbidi-bobbidi-boo moments, you’ll need to first restore? the various Pillars of the valley:

  • Pillar of Friendship in the Peaceful Meadow
  • Pillar of Power on Dazzle Beach
  • Pillar of Trust in the Glade of Trust
  • Pillar of Nurturing on Sunlit Plateau
  • Pillar of Courage in the Forest of Valor
  • Pillar of Love in Frosted Heights

After restoring them, make sure you’ve unlocked the F?orgotten Lands, and as long as both are done you’ll be able to begin a short chain of quests starting with “Miracles Take Timeâ€?and ending with “What’s Left Behindâ€? Once that’s complete, the Fairy Godmother will move into her pumpkin house in the Forgotten Lands.

Mirabel

Mirabel in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The main character from Encanto, Mirabel, is relatively easy to unlock, provided you have good luck on your side. To begin her unlock quest, you’ll need to find th??e Golden Doorknob in the Peaceful Meadow, and then bring her house (Mini-Casita) back to the village during one of Merlin’s friendship quests called “The Golden Doorknob

To unlock the two sisters, you’ll need to first unlock the Frozen Realm which costs 4,000 Dreamlight. You’ll then need to work on Anna first, completing her quests “The Spirits o??f Natureâ€?and “Welcoming Annaâ€? Then, work to get Anna to friendship level two, and you’ll be able to complete Elsa’s quests “Chasing the Windâ€?and “Welcoming Elsaâ€?

These two are an odd pair to unlock together, but they come as a package for ??completing the story quest “The Dark Groveâ€? Before you can do this, you’ll need to complete Merlin’s “Friendship is Everythingâ€?quest and unblock the path to the Forest of Valor (3,000 Dreamlight) to find Kristoff hanging out near a portal there. Kristoff will move in with both Anna and Olaf, while D??onald’s Houseboat will need to be placed on water.

Stitch

Stitch is thus far the only character whose unlock process is time-gated, so he’s a little awkward to get in the Valley, but he’s cute so w??e forgive?? him. To unlock stitch, you’ll need to start by talking to Donald after getting him to level 10 friendship, and then complete the following steps:

  • Complete “The Mystery of the Stolen Socksâ€?quest, then wait five days

Poached Basil Butter Sturgeon in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a fancy seafood dish that can impress your fellow villagers like Mulan and Belle??, among others. You'll need four ingredients throughout the game to make this gastronomic spectacle.

All Poached Basil Butter Sturgeon Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredients

To make th?is four-star dish, you'll require the followin??g ingredients:

  • White Sturgeon
  • Butter
  • Basil
  • Lemon

White Sturgeon can be found within the waters of the Frosted Heights. Get your fishing rod and get the valuable fish for your dish. They're from orange ripples in the water; I found them very quickly in my experience. Butter is an easy ingredient to find as it's sold in Chez Remy after finishing the Ratatouille realm's missions in the Castle.

Basil, which can also be used for cooking Creamy Soup, is picked up from the ground in Peaceful Meadow. Look for its green leaves and you should find the herb fairly easily. Lastly Lemons can be grabbed from trees within the Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust. All of these ingredients are pretty easy to get, so you should be able to gather them and cook them at any stove around your house or Chez Remy easily. Creamy Soup in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a delicious four-star dish you can make for villagers like Stitch and Mulan if they request?? it. It can also expand your cooking repertoire and help you get Dreamlight from completing duties.

Where to find Creamy Soup Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredients

For this four-star dish, you'll need four different ingredients. The Creamy Soup Disney Dreamlight Valley recipe requires:

  • Potato
  • Milk
  • Any vegetable (Mushrooms, Carrots, etc)
  • Any herb (Basil, Oregano, etc)

Potatoes can be purchased from Goofy's Stall in the Forgotten Lands. The seeds cost 55 Star Coins. The vegetable itself may also be available. Unfortunately, I wasn't that lucky. It will take 35 minutes to plant the Potatoes in the ground and water them. You'll need to water this ingredient twice before it grows. Another way to get Potatoes is through ??Wall-E's vegetable patch, but once again, it's down to luck.

Milk is easily purchased at Chez Remy after finishing the Ratatouille realm at the castle. You'll bring Remy and his restaurant over to the valley as a result. Go to th?e kitchen and buy Milk for 230 Star Coins behind the stove.

You can pick up vegetables from Wall-E's patch if you have it available. Carrot seeds can be bought ?from Goofy's Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. Mushrooms can be picked up from the ground in the Glade of Trust.

Herbs are easy to find in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Go around the main plaza and find some green leaves poking up ??from the ground. Pick them up and you'll discover Oregano. Mix all four of the??se ingredients together at any stove, and you should get Creamy Soup for your efforts.

How much can you make from Creamy Soup?

Creamy Soup can be sold for 654 Star Coins at any of Goofy's Stalls. Selling meals also give??s you a chance to get Dreamlight points for your Duties.

One of the funniest scenes in The Emperor's New Groove involves Kronk's Spinach Puffs, which has Yzma's minion joyfully cooking for the emperor and her. Even though he's not in the game, you can make Kronk's Spinach Puffs in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Kronk's Spinach Puffs Disney Dreamlight Valley recipe

Spinach seeds can be bought from Goofy's Stall in the Glade of Trust, while Canola seeds is purchased at Goofy's Stall in the Forest of Valor. Spinach seeds are 45 Star Coins and Canola seeds are 25 Star Coins. They're thankfully cheap to buy, unlike Pumpkin seeds and the ingredient itself.

You might be lucky and find both of the ingredients at Goofy's Stall after they've been grown. This seems to be random, however. If you're lucky, Spinach costs 62 Star Coins, while ??Canola sets you back 164 Star Coins.

Lastly, Cheese can be bought from Chez Remy for 180 Star Coins. You'll need to complete the Ratatouille realm and invite?? Remy to your valley to find this ingredient.

Once you've created Kronk's Spinach Puffs in Disney Dreamlight Valley, yo?u can sell ?it for 461 Star Coins or eat it for 750 Energy.

Pumpkin Puffs in Disney Dreamlight Valley are a neat fall-themed treat you can give your favorite villagers like Jak, Mickey, and Stitch. It requires three ingredients, and two ?are fairly easy to find.

Pumpkin Puffs Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredients and where to find them

To make Pumpkin Puffs in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll need three ingredients:

  • Pumpkin
  • Cheese
  • Eggs

Pumpkins are spotted by shopping at Goofy's Stall in the Forgotten Lands. It's the biome to the top left that is one of the last you'll unlock in the base game. It costs 15,000 Dreamlight to remove the thorns?? blocking your w??ay. This fall vegetable's seeds can be bought for 275 Star Coins each and they'll need to be watered twice when harvesting them. It will take four hours to grow them, making them some of the hardest vegetables to get in the game. You can sell the Pumpkins for a pretty penny to Goofy's Stall, however.

Cheese and Eggs can be purchased from Chez Remy in the rat's kitchen. You'll need to finish the Ratatouille realm in the castle to unlock these? ingredients, too, so Remy and his restaurant are available in your valley. Make sure you have room in your bag to fit these two ingredients. Once you have everything you need, go to any cooking station like Chez Remy or your house, throw them into the pot, and get the?? three-star dish Pumpkin Puffs.

How to quicken the process of getting Pumpkins

There are a few ways that can speed up the process of acquiring Pumpkins in Disney Dreamlight Valley. First, check Wall-E's garden after finishing his realm quests in the castle. This garden may have a pumpkin growing within the robot's varie??d crops.

Additionally, you can use a Miracle Growth Elixir. It's made from 10 Rich Soil, 500 Dreamlight, and 10 Vitalys Crystals. This Miracle Growth Elixir powers up your water can, instantly growing the crops in your fie??ld wh??en watered.

You'll get Rich Soil by digging the earth, and Vitalys Crystals can be mined from the Vitalys?? Mines wit?hin the Sunlit Plateau. However, you'll need to finish the story quest The Curse to gain access to this area.

This Mexican dish, the Vegetarian Taco, in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a wonderful meal that can get you 423 Star Coins at Goofy's Stall. Thankfully, it's fairly easy to make if you know wher??e to get the ingredients.

Vegetarian Taco Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredients

To make a deli?cious Vegetarian Taco, you'll need the following ingredi??ents:

  • Chili Pepper
  • Cheese
  • Corn
  • Any vegetable like a Carrot or Corn

To get yourself some Cheese, head over to Chez Remy and buy it from the rat. It might not pass safety standards in our world, but you can get the ingredient for 180 Star Coins. You'll need to complete the Ratatouille realm inside the cas??tle to gain access to this restaurant and Remy himself.

Corn seeds and the ingredient itself can be bought from Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach for?? 15 Star C??oins. Chilli Pepper can be purchased from Goofy's Stall in the Sunlit Plateau for 20 Star Coins.

You can buy another Corn to make up for the veget??able you need for the fourth ingredient or use? something else you're growing like a Carrot.

Once you have all the ingredients, you can make the Vegetarian T??aco by throwing in all the ingredients at a stove from your house or Chez Remy.

Other Cheese dishes you can make

With Cheese in your inventory, you can make Puffs in Disney Dreamlight Valley. For example, you can create Eggplant Puffs by including the Eggplant, Cheese, and Eggs. It's a three-star dish. You can even make Kronk's Spinach Puffs from the movie The Emperor's New Groove.

The Chili Pepper can help you make Spicy Baked Bream too.

Chocolate Waffles in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a four-star dish that can be easy to make as long as?? you have access to the correct biomes for th??e ingredients. As it's a Disney game, it makes sense that it's in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head just like what the theme parks serve around the world.

Chocolate Waffles Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredients

To create Chocolate Waffles in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll need these ingredients:

  • Wheat
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Cocoa Bean

Most of these ingredients are easy to find. Eggs and Milk can be purchased from Chez Remy after completing the Ratatouille realm in the castle and getting Remy into your valley. They will cost you 450 Star Coins altogether. Wheat seeds can be bought from Goofy's Stall in the Peaceful Meadow for 1 Star Coin. You might as well buy the ingredient itself if it's available, however, as it's very slightly more expensive at 2 Star Coins. It will only take one minute to grow on??ce planted and watered.

Cocoa ??Beans are slightly trickier to find. They grow on trees within the Sunlit Plateau or the Glade of Trust every ??30 minutes. You can also buy them from Goofy's Stall in the Sunlit Plateau for 75 Star Coins.

Another dessert you can make

Have plenty of Cocoa Beans left? If that's the case, Hot Cocoa might be the way to go. You can form that with a Cocoa Bean, Milk, and Sugarcane. You can get Sugarcane (or its seeds) from Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach. Another dessert you can make without Cocoa Beans is Berry Salad. A Mint Sorbet is another way to go.

Tuna in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a gateway? to many fishy dishes in the game. It can be found in two separat?e biomes in this Disney title.

Tuna Disney Dreamlight Valley location

Tuna can be spotted in the Glade of Trust and Forgotten Lands, just like Squid. However, you'll find Tuna from white ripples within the waters of these locations, not ??blue. Search the rivers and ponds of these biomes and get your rod out to catch the Tuna you require. You should be able to find the fish fairly easily. If you don't see a white ripple, however, try to catch a fish from a different colored ripple for a chance of a white ripple appea??ring straight afterward.

If you catch a Tuna, you can sell it for 95 Star Coins?? and eat it for 350 Energy. You'll likely want to make a dish with the Tuna, on the other hand. This ingredient is also collected for one of Nala's quest??s.

How to make a Tuna Burger

You can make a Tuna Burger fairly easily in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it's surprisingly a five-star meal??. You'll require the following:

  • Tuna
  • Lemon
  • Wheat
  • Onion
  • A vegetable of your choice (Carrots, for example)

Lemons grow on trees in the Glade of Trust and Forest of Valor. Wheat is purchased from Goofy's Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. Onions and Onion seeds are bought from Goofy's Stall in the Forest of Valor. You can then use any vegetable of your choice, such as a Carrot, Lettuce, or Potato. After piling them all into a pan at a stove in Chez Remy or your house, you'll finally have a Tuna Burger in your grasp. You could also make a Vegetarian Stew if you'd like.

The Lion King's Timon and Pumbaa will say "Hakuna Matata" to Ursula, Mickey, and Jack Skellington when they join Disney Dreamlight Valley next week. A few improvements ?have been im??plemented into the user experience as well as part of a new update.

There are no worries as Timon and Pumbaa become guests

On October 9, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will return to the Lion King realm to recruit Timon and Pumbaa to their village. During this visit, however, we'll experience both the ??day and the nighttime in the jungle. As you may expect (if you've watched the origi??nal movie), the duo will be teaching us how to relax as we set up a camp, power nap, stargaze, and learn how to deal with stress.

There will be new story quests and friendship rewards with Timon and Mr. Pig. One of the friendship quests has us helping Pumbaa embrace a new, unexpected hobby: pottery. You'll likely need to make bug-related dishes for Timon and Pumbaa rather than a Souffle, but that's just a hunch.

A new Star Path

Gameloft has confirmed a new Star Path co?incides with the October 9 update called the Night Show. It includes rockstar-themed clothes for your character. It also comes with? neon lights, pyrotechnics, and even a stage for you to build inside your valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley x Loungefly

Disney Dreamlight Valley ?will feature some popular Loungefly designs you can pick up in real life. Some of them include Maleficent's dragon form and Mickey's sorcerer look. Maleficent's bag ev??en glows in the dark.

A few quality-of-life updates will arrive on October 9. Furniture will begin to appear at Scrooge's store instead of emp?ty clothing displays. There will also be a new cursor option while moving furniture and other items in the world, which locks the cursor to the middle. Recipes can also be added to the quest tracker, which will definitely help.

Topaz in Disney Dreamlight Valley can help you finish certain quests and gain a lot of Star Coins. They're mined fro?m stones in a familiar area of the game; here??'s where to find them.

Topaz Disney Dreamlight Valley location

Topaz is a rare crystal that can be obtained by mining rocks in The Plaza. This is the first location you ?visit in the game in front of the castle. Topaz is yellow, so if you see a rock gleaming in that colo?r, go mine it.

There is a chance it appears without the crystal popping out, but it's far less likely. Keep trying if you don't find Topaz in your first run of mining. Wait five minutes, and then the rocks should reappear. I had to do this four or five times before one emerged. You may find Garnet, which is red, as well. It can be frustrating, but keep going, and? yo?u'll find Topaz eventually.

Mulan is one of the quest givers who want three Topaz from you with the A Daily Regime quest. Thankfully, Garnet is another crystal she'd love; she'll ask for six. She'll also need four Aquamarine and six Peridots. Aquamarine crystals can be mined at Dazzle Beach and the Forest of Valor. Perid?o?ts are obtained by mining rocks in Dazzle Beach and the Peaceful Meadow.

What is Topaz sold for in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Topaz can be s??old for 240 Star Coins at Goofy's Stalls. They're mostly valuable when quests are involved, but hey, it's something.

He needs to join your valley and then establish his restaurant to get access to the ingredients necessary. Once that is done, it will cos?t a total of 820 St??ar Coins. You can earn those by selling crops like Pumpkins, Blueberries, and other dishes you can make at Goofy's Stalls.

Once you've gathered all of the ingredients, go to a stove at Chez Remy or your house and throw in the Cheese, Milk, Eggs, and Butter into the pan. You'll soon have a Souffle to either eat for 2,386 Energy or sell for 1,230 Star Coins. If you’re looking for something easy and quick to cook, Pasta of some sort is usually a safe bet. It’s no different in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Pes??to with Linguine is an excellent option. ??;

I’m not sure how much pesto you need to put?? with your pasta in order ?for it to become the leading ingredient in the dish, but that’s neither here nor there. Regardless, here’s how to make Pesto with Linguine.

How to make Pesto with Linguine in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Pesto with Linguine is a 4-star entrée that makes up part of the Dreamlight Valley collection. As such, you don’t need to have the Rift in Time DLC in ord??er to make this ??meal. As a 4-star meal, you’ll need four ingredients to make it:

  • 1 Wheat

    • Can be purchased ready to use from Goofy’s Stalls in Peaceful Meadow and Ancient’s Landing for 3 Star Coins each
    • Wheat Seeds can be purchased in the same locations for 1 Star Coin each. Wheat takes one minute to grow and needs watering just once

  • 1 Butter

    • Purchased from Chez Remy for 190 Star Coins each

  • 1 Garlic

    • A maximum of 10 Garlic can be foraged in the Forest of Valor at any time
    • Appears inside the Frozen Realm
    • Foraged from The Grove and The Lagoon areas of the Wild Tangle
    • Possible drop from Raccoons when fed a food that they like

  • 1 Oregano

    • A maximum of 10 Oregano can be foraged on the Plaza at any time
    • When fed a food that they like, Squirrels can drop Oregano

Once you’ve got these four ingredients, you can th?row them into any Cooking Pot to make Pesto with Linguine. Make sure you’ve got some Coal in your inventory or storage, or purchase some from Kristoff’s Stall.

Is Pesto with Linguine worth making in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Cooking in Chez Remy in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Although it’s not likely to make you rich any time soon, ??Pesto with Linguine will sell for at least 428 Star Coins. It’s slightly more useful for energy regeneration, restoring 1,063 energy when consumed, which is enough to half-fill your energy bar with blue energy if you’ve reached level 40, or completely fill it if you're just starting out on your Valley adventure.

You’re more likely to end up cooking Pesto with Linguine if a villager has it as one of their daily favorite gifts or requests it in Chez Remy. It comes up fairly often, and it?’s pretty cheap to make as most of the ingredients can be grown or foraged.

You can use Pesto with Linguine as a decoration by dropping it from your invento??ry and then moving it around in the Furniture menu.

Onions in Disney Dreamlight Valley are a gateway to many recipes in the game. You can make dishes like Arendellian Pickled Herring and Seared Rainbow Trou??t with Onions in this Disney title.

How to get Onions in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The main way to get Onions in Disney Dreamlight Valley is to purchase their seeds from Goofy's Stall. They can?? be bought for 50 Gold Coins each from the Forest of Valor location. Once you've dug a spot for them to grow, place them in the soil and water ?them. These onion seeds take around an hour to grow and will need to be watered twice.

There is a chance that there's already an Onion growing within Wall-E's garden, however. If you've finished the little robot's realm in the castle and completed his story quests, you'll gain access to his garden i??n your valley. This is where he grows all sorts of vegetables? and other ingredients. Upgrade this space to maximize your chances of finding an Onion within this batch.

How to make Arendellian Pickled Herring

The best Onion dish you can make with your newfound ingredient is the Arendellian Pickled Herring because it's a five-star meal. You'll need the following ingredients for it:

  • Herring
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Any sort of spice
  • Lemon

Garlic grows within the ground of the Forest of Valor. Lemons also grow on tre??es within the Forest of Valor but you can find them in the Glade of T?rust too. Herring can be caught in the waters of Dazzle Beach and Glade of Trust within white puddles.

Once you have all of the ingredients, gather them into a pot inside a kitchen. After making Arendellian Pickled Herring, you can sell it for 532 Gold Coins. However, you may want to save it if you haven't completed all of Elsa's quests yet as she'll request the meal at one point.

As with any 5-star meal in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need five ingred??ients to make Blend of the Bayou:

  • 1 Prisma Shrimp

    • Prisma Shrimp can be fished up from golden fishing spots in the Grove area of the Wild Tangle. If you’re struggling to find any golden fishing spots, remember to clear out all of the other fishing spots in the area to try and get one to spawn.

  • 1 Rice

    • Rice can be purchased ready to use at Goofy’s Stall in the Glade of Trust for 92 Star Coins each.
    • To grow your own, Rice Seeds can be purchased in the same location for 35 Star Coins. It takes 50 minutes to grow and needs watering twice.

  • 1 Celery

    • Celery is exclusive to Eternity Isle, and can be purchased ready to use from Goofy’s Stall in Ancient’s Landing for 65 Star Coins each.
    • Celery Seeds can also be purchased in Ancient’s Landing for 20 Star Coins each. It takes 10 minutes to grow and needs watering just once.

  • 1 Butter

    • Purchased from Chez Remy for 190 Star Coins each.

  • 1 of any Spice

    • There are a lot of choices as to which spice you want to use for your meal. Each biome has its own specific spice which can be foraged. Some good choices are Basil (Peaceful Meadow), Majestea (Ancient’s Landing), and Garlic (Forest of Valor or the Wild Tangle).

Is Blend of the Bayou worth making in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

If you want to make some quick Star Coins, you can do this with Blend of the Bayou. Goofy will purchase each individual serving for 2,409 Star Coins or more.? Of course, how much profit you will make depends on wheth??er you grew your own crops, but either way, there’s a quick buck to be made with this dish.

Blend of the Bayou is not only amazing for making a profit, but also in terms of energy. Each serving consumed will replenish at least 4,238 energy. This is enough to completely? fill your energy bar from empty, regardless of what level you are, and also provide ample yellow energy for gliding around the Valley or Eternity Isle.

Although?? it’s rare, Blend of the Bayou can also come up as a favorite gift or request at Chez Remy, so it’s always worth unlocking the recipe ahead of time so you can use the autofill function when cooking to save yours?elf some time.

There are a lot of fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but none of them are quite as interesting as the ??Skeleton Fish. I’m not sure whether it’s alive or dead, but it’s the perfect aquatic creature for the upcoming spooky season.

Although it’s not particularly good for profits or energy regeneration, there are still a couple of things that you need Skeleton Fish for. It’s an Eternity Isle fish, so you’ll only be able to catch it if you have Disney Dreamlight Valley's Rift in Time DLC.

Skeleton Fish can be found in white fishing spots in the Glittering ?Dunes. They can also occasionally show up in blue fishing spots, but this is not as common. • 5 Dream Shards
  • 3 Evergems
  • 8 Skeleton Fish

You’d be forgiven for thinking that to get Pearls, you’d need to find oysters. However, the oysters of Etern??ity Isle aren’t as attached to their creations as you may expect, because you can find them under the ground.

Pearls can only be found in Ancient’s Landing on ??Eternity Isle. To find them, you’ll need to equip your Shovel and start digging in the grass around the area. Each dig spot has a chance to produce? at least one pearl, although you may also get Star Coins, Memory Shards, or Soil. You’ll need to dig a lot of holes if you want to get a large number of Pearls.

If you’re worried about the area being filled with holes or the effort involved in filling them in, you can use the rug tr??ick to get rid of them:

  1. Enter Furniture Mode and place a rug down over the holes you dug
  2. Move the rug around to cover all of the holes
  3. Exit Furniture Mode with the rug still in the world to permanently delete the holes
  4. Re-enter Furniture Mode, remove the rug, and exit Furniture Mode

Considering the fact that it’s only a 2-star meal, Smoked Peanuts and Anglerfish is one hell of a money-maker or energy provider in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the ingredients, however, can seem pretty elusive if you've not?? got luck on your side.

Before you can even think about making Smoked Peanuts and Anglerfish, you’ll need to have done a few t?h??ings:

  • Unlocked the Sunlit Plateau for 7,000 Dreamlight
  • Unlocked the Forgotten Lands for 10,000 Dreamlight
  • Befriended Remy and completed his first friendship quest, “A Restaurant Makeoverâ€?/li>

If you’ve done all of those things, you can move on to sourcing the ingredients f??or Smoked Peanuts and Anglerfish.

As a 2-star?? Entrée, Smoked P?eanuts and Anglerfish only requires two ingredients to make:

  • 1 Anglerfish

    • Caught in golden fishing spots in The Forgotten Lands. If you’re struggling to find golden fishing spots, try clearing out all of the other fishing spots in the biome and work on a circuit.

  • 1 Peanuts

    • Purchased from Chez Remy for 200 Star Coins

Provided that you have both of the above-mentioned ingredients, and you’ve got some Coal in your inventory or storage, you can make Smoked Peanuts and Anglerfish at any ?Cooking Station.

Should you make Smoked Peanuts and Anglerfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

In a word, yes.

While catching Anglerfish might prove to be a bit of a pain, I can’t think of many other recipes in Dreamlight Valley that offer as much of a return as this one does. Whether you’re looking to make some quick Star Coins or want an energy boost, this meal is incredible for both.

Goofy will purchase each serving of Smoked Peanuts and Anglerfish for at least 2,210 Star Coins. Because you’ve only spent 200 Star Coins o?n the Peanuts, this means you’ll get 2,010 Star Coins worth of profit on each serving that you sell. That’s a pretty good return on investment.

Even at level 40, you only have a maximum of 2,000 blue energy in your bar. Smoked Peanuts and Anglerfish will provide at least 3,960 energy, which means that eating just one serving will complete??ly fill up your blue bar and give you some yellow energy on top.

If you’d rather have a ??serving of Smoked Peanuts and Anglerfish on display, you can drop it from within your inventory. Then, while in the Furniture menu, you can put it anywhere you like.

If you purchase the Rift in Time DLC for Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll ?find that there is a whole world of new resources to find and use in new crafting recipes. How to ?get your hands on these resources isn’t always clear, and Plastic Scrap can prove very confusing.

There are a couple of ways to get your hands on Plastic Scrap in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and one of them ca??n be done as soon as ?you step foot on Eternity Isle.

How to get Plastic Scrap in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The first way you’re going to be able to get Plastic Scrap is by fishing for it in Ancient’s Landing. Like with Seaweed in the Valley, you’ll? need to fish outside of any existing fishing spots in order to find it. I've had the most luck off the pier to the west.

You’ll find one at a time, but if you take a fishing buddy with you, they’ll double the yield by dropping one extra for every on??e that you catch. You're also equally likely to fish up Cod, so you'll likely end up with a stockpile of those as well.

The?? second way to get Plastic Scrap is through removing Rubble Piles around Ancient’s Landing and The Courtyard on Eternity Isle. Small Rubble Piles?? will drop one Plastic Scrap each, while large ones will drop two each.

Before you can do that, though, you’ll need to complete Merlin’s quests “Village Project: Timeless Trashand “Village Project: Timeless Tools." Completing both of these quests will fully upgrade y?our Shovel, allowing you to remove any Rubble Pile you come across.

Plastic Scrap is used in a lot of different crafting recipes, commonly in combination with Tropical Wood, but it’s mostly impor??tant for complet?ing the following quests:

Quest NPC Number of Plastic Scrap needed
An Alarming Development Oswald 50
Does Not Compute EVE 15
Dreamlight Valley’s Next Top LeFou Gaston 5
Erratic Transportation Oswald 150
Give Me a Sign Goofy 12
I’ve Got a Dreamlight Rapunzel 10
The Trial of Eternity Jafar 10
Use Your Imagination: EVE EVE 8

Playing Disney Dreamlight Valley when you’re?? hungry can sometimes be a dangerous thing, because all of the cooked dishes that you can make bot??h look and sound delicious. Fish Creole is one of them, and it’s pretty easy to make.

Fish Creole is a 5-star recipe that is part of the Dreamlight Valley collection. You ca??n make it regar??dless of whether you own the Rift in Time DLC.

The amount of stars a meal has in Disney Dreamlight Valley directly corresponds to the number of ingredients. As such, as a 5-star entrée, Fish Creol?e requires five ingredients to make:

  • 1 of any Fish

    • A good choice for this is Bass, as it can be caught in any water in the Valley where there aren’t ripples, and you’re able to catch a lot of them

  • 1 of any Vegetable

    • My go-to choice for any recipe that requires ‘any vegetableâ€?is Lettuce. It only takes 3 minutes to grow, and seeds can be bought from Goofy’s Stall in Peaceful Meadow for 3 Star Coins

  • 1 Garlic

    • A maximum of 10 Garlic can be foraged in the Forest of Valor at any time
    • Appears inside the Frozen Realm
    • Foraged from The Grove and The Lagoon areas of the Wild Tangle
    • Possible drop from Raccoons when fed a food that they like

  • 1 Rice

    • Rice can be purchased ready to use from Goofy’s Stall in the Glade of Trust for 92 Star Coins each. Alternatively, Rice Seeds can also be purchased in the same place. They cost 35 Star Coins each, take 50 minutes to grow and need watering twice.

  • 1 Tomato

    • Tomatoes can be purchased ready to use from Goofy’s Stalls in Dazzle Beach or the Wild Tangle for 33 Star Coins each. Tomato Seeds can be purchased in the same locations for 8 Star Coins each. They take 25 minutes to grow and need watering twice.

Once you’ve got all of ?the ingredients, you can throw them all into a Cooking Pot and get some Fish Creole.

Is Fish Creole worth making in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

When consumed, Fish ?Creole will restore 822 energy. While this isn’t enough to completely fill the energy bar, it i?s enough to allow you to keep Mining, Fishing, or whatever else you need to do.

Goofy will purchase each serving of Fish Creole for at least 225 Star Coins, so while it’s not going to make you any big bucks, Fish Creole is still useful if there’s something you ??really want to buy and have a surplus of the necessary ingredients.

You’re most likely to need to make Fish Creole to give to a villager as a gift or if they request?? it in Chez Remy. I've seen it come up pretty often as a request in both instances, so it's always handy to know the recipe.

Mint Sorbet is a cool, sweet treat in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It's an easy two-star rec?ipe you can make in the game for a decent amount of Star Coins.

Where to find Mint Sorbet ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To make Mint Sorbet in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll need two ingredients:

  • Mint
  • Slush Ice

The herb Mint can be found growing within the Frosted Heights biome. Look at the ground and try to find the herb risen from the ground. It has green leaves and a brown stem. It's easy to find multiple of this resource in the Frosted Heights??.

Slush Ice is much harder to get as you need to complete Remy's quest The Unknown Flavor, which unlocks after reaching ??Lev??el 10 friendship with the rat. After finishing this task, you can buy Slush Ice from Remy's Kitchen for 150 Star Coins.

Where to make Mint Sorbet

To make a dish of Mint Sorbet, you'll need to approach a cooking station at your home, Chez Remy, or at another stove, perhaps in Mickey's house. Throw the Mint and the Slush Ice into the pot and use one coal to start the cooking process. After a few seconds, you'll get your hands on the Mint Sorbet. Now you've made a two-star recipe that can help towards some Dreamlight goals.??

You can sell the Mint Sorbet for 260 Star Coins or get 695 Energy for consuming the meal. After this, you could get more adventurous in the kitchen with dishes like Creamy Garlic Scallops and Chicken Souvlaki.

As a 4-star recipe, you’ll nee??d four ingredients t?o make Creamy Garlic Scallops:

Creamy Garlic Scallops aren’t the most useful when it comes to making profit, although each serving will be purch??ased by Goofy for upwards of 484 Star Coins.

Where Creamy Garlic Scallops shines is when it comes to energy regeneration. When consumed, Creamy Garlic Scallops will give you at least 1,844 Energy. At level 40, this will almost fill the entire 2,000 energ?y blue bar and eating more than one serving will provide ample yellow energy to zoom around the Valley on your Glider.

If you want to use Creamy ?Garlic Scallops as a decoration, you can do this by dropping it from your inventory and then moving it around within the Furniture menu.

If there’s one thing you’re going to need a lot of in Disney Dreamlight Valley, it’s Drea??m Shards. It’s needed in a lot of quests and crafts, so having a stockpile of this precious resource is never a bad thing.

It can be hard to figure out where Dream Shards come from, especially if you’ve just be?gun your adventures in the Valley. Thankfully, there are a few different ways ?to get Dream Shards, and none of them will cost a single Star Coin.

How to get Dream Shards in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Raccoons and other critters can give Dream Shards in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are three things that you ca?n do to get Dream Shards:

Digging sparkling holes

At any time, three sparkling holes will spawn in each biome of the Valley. These can be dug up using your Roya??l Shovel, and will yield either Dream Shards of Night Shards. Regardless of which type of Shard you get, you’ll get between one and two per hole.

Feeding critters

All types of critters in the Valley or on Eternity Isle have a chance to drop Dream Shards when given a liked or loved food. The number you ca??n get depends on each animal, and how much they enjoy the meal:

Animal Biome # per Liked gift # per Loved gift
Crocodiles Glade of Trust
Foxes Frosted Heights
Rabbits Peaceful Meadow
Raccoons Forest of Valor
Ravens Forgotten Lands 1 3
Sea Turtles Dazzle Beach 1 1
Squirrels The Plaza 1 1
Sunbirds Sunlit Plateau 1 2
Capybaras Wild Tangle 1 1
Cobras Glittering Dunes 1 1
Monkeys Ancient’s Landing 1 1

Removing Night Thorns or Splinters of Fate

Night Thorns, which grow in the Valley, or Splinters of Fate, which grow on Eternity Isle, can both drop Dream Shards when they’re removed. Dream Shards are one a lot of different items which can drop from them, so this is a less reliab?le method.

Regardless of which type of obstacle you’re trying to remove, you can?? possibly g?et either one or two Dream Shards per obstacle removed.

The only regular crafting recipe which calls for Dream Shards is?? Purified Night Sha?rds, which need five Night Shards and one Dream Shard to make.

Other than that, Dream Sh??ards are needed in order to? complete the following quests:

  • A New Enchantment
  • Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Oops
  • Fire Alarm
  • Lair Sweet Lair
  • Lost in the Dark Grove
  • Seed of Memories
  • The Chronicles of the Ancients
  • The Crown or the Claw
  • The Curse
  • The Dragon Army
  • The Enchanted Ring
  • The Heart of a Lioness
  • The Shadow Play
  • The Wild Tangle’s Swarm
  • Trouble in Paradise
  • Very Magical Minnie
  • When Things Go Boom
