The Dress to Impress Halloween Event has brought tons of new items, themes, and more. However, apparently, not all the changes in the game have been an improvement for the game, as developers of the Roblox game have confirmed that th??e new dressing?? rooms will be taken out with the upcoming winter update.

The news comes from M0TOPRINCESS, one of the developers of Dress to Impress, through the DTI News Twitter account. The post states that this decision is to reduce the lag caused in the game? and overall part count so everything will run smoother.

Dressing rooms in Dress to Impress are leaving as quickly as they came

The official DTI Discord server further confirmed this change as the team posted confirmation in the announcements c??hannel that the dressing rooms would soon be removed. Furthermore, it’s confirmed that the change was partly due to how unpopular the function was. 

It's unknown if the button that will be brought to replace th??e dressing rooms will look id?entical to the previous code button, or if it will be a new design. Furthermore, whether the menu functions identically to the old one is also unconfirmed.

It’s also currently unknown when the winter update will take place for Dress to Impress, so the exact date for the removal of the dressing rooms is still a mystery. DTI is known to have smaller patches in between major updates, so it’s possible it could c?ome sooner than expected.

The ?dres??sing rooms, introduced recently in the Halloween update and event, served as a replacement for the code button. Before the update, you could simply hit the code button and put your code items on from anywhere in the room. Now, players must walk to the dressing rooms to equip them, along with any purchased fashions.

This mad?e it take significantly longer to put on any clothing items you received from codes, as you’d need to make the trip to the designated areas instead of the freedom to put them on from anywhere.

While the dressing rooms themselves will be removed from the game, the ability to save outfits will remain. The dressing rooms allowed players to save their current outfits during Freeplay mode to quickly put on for future use, and developers have confirmed that saving outfits will be compiled into the code button that ?will be brought back.

The Halloween update for Dress to Impress has been the largest yet, with an entire three-chapter story quest, countless new clothing items, hair, and makeup, and even a custom lobby to celebrate the season. While the dressing rooms have not been as successful as everything else, it’s still been a monumental up??grade for the game. The winter update will hopefully? bring just as much depth.

There are tons of customizable outfit pieces in Dress to Impress, but one in particular is shrouded in mystery. This ??is of course the stitch dress in the nail salon, also known as?? the Lana Stitch dress. 

If you haven’t completed the proper steps to acquire this dress,?? you’ll get a bunch of question marks when trying to click on it. However, there is a secret way to unlock this dress, and we’re here to show you how to do it.

How to unlock the Lana Stitch dress

You’ll first need to head to Lana’s Roblox account, @LanaDoesNails, and you’ll be able to see her games. One of these is called The Forest, and this is the game you need to compl?ete to unlock the dress. Join the server.

Once you enter, you’ll be placed in a dark red and black world, where you’ll need to head to a platfor??m. Luckily, this game is normally well populated, a?nd you can simply follow the other players towards the platform. However, you’ll pretty much just be heading north, and then when you find the large hand-like trees, turn left. This hike isn’t particularly long, so you won’t have much trouble.

Watch out during this trek, since there are rapid Lanas chasing you throughout. If you get attacked, you’ll need to start over. Luckily, they aren’t hard to avoid, unlike Nurse Julie, when you're collecting map pieces in Chapter 2 of the Halloween quest.

You’ll come across a large platform when you reach the end of The Fores??t. At this platform, stand on one of the circl?es. You will need other people in order to continue, one in each circle. This is a teleporter that will take you to the next section of the quest.

How to finish the Lana Lore maze

The teleporter will take you to the next section, the maze. Follo??wing the instructions on the wall, you’ll need to follow the paintings of Lana to reach the end. There are Lana doppelgangers here too, and you’ll need to avoid them.

If any of these Lana doppelgangers get a hold of you, you’ll get kicked back to the start of the maze. This maze is significantly longer than the forest walk, so you’ll want to avoid this. There is a fair amount of rabid Lanas here, so use the sprint function by hitting shift to ge?t away. As you get closer to the end, more Lanas will appear.

Once you reach the end, there is a door you’ll need to touch. This will trigger a cutscene, giving you some more spooky Lana lore. 

You’ll then be teleported to Dress to Impress, where immediately upon loading you’ll receiv?e access to the Lana Stitch dress and a cool $1,500. Not too shabby.

While things like running through mazes and finding map pieces in the lore quest can take up all the attention, there is al?so a new ability to save your outfits. If you need to know how to save y?our best fits, we’re here to help.

How to save your outfit in Dress to Impress

In order to save your outfit, you’ll need to put on the pieces you want, then he?ad to any of the dressing rooms where you can put on your code items. These can be found across from the tanning?? booths to change your skin tone. 

From there, on the left side of the items, there will be a button with a brown closet on it. Click this button, and then click on the? pink plus sign. This will allow you to save the outfit ??you’re currently wearing to your wardrobe. 

You can give it a name as well, if you want to use it for a specific theme, or if you make a particular character. It's great for difficult themes, like surrealism.

The wardrobe will save every outfit piece that you’re currently wearing when you save the outfit, including hairstyles, skin tone, and makeup. If you have custom makeup unlocked? and use it for the outfit, it will save this as well.

From then on, to wear the saved outfit, all you need to do is return to the dressing rooms and click on that saved outfits icon. It will have all your saved outfits, which?? you can choose and click to wear. 

How to delete a saved outfit in Dress to Impress

If you want to delete an outfit you’ve saved, you can do so by going back to the dressing rooms, cli??cking on the saved outfit button with the brown closet, and clicking on the outfit you want to get?? rid of. Right next to the option to wear will be an option to delete it.

The game will make you confirm this is the outfit you want to delete??,?? and so long as you say yes, it will erase that outfit from your saved wardrobe. 

Be aware that if you want to wear one of your saved outfits but just remove a piece or two, when you click on the currently wearing button, it will still appear as all separate piec??es. You can remove an?d add pieces as you want to the saved outfit, to alter it slightly. This won’t edit the saved outfit forever, just for the current round.

Chapter 3's maze features four types of traps across the map. You'll initially encounter rising or dropping spikes from the ??ground, damaging half of your heart health. Some scythes will also drop down, along with various spiky logs. It's best to jump whenever you encounter these traps to keep your health intact.

For added assistance, the faint red lines on the ground can serve as a reliable guide. While they may be difficult to spot, you can lower your quality via Settings to get a better look. Here's a visual representation of what it lo??oks like (inside the red lines):

Fireflies also serve as a reassuring guide, indicating when you're on the right path. If you still find the maze too challenging, we'll show you the correct pathway in the Dress to Impress: Lana Lore maze.

Take a right at the first crossroads of the Dress to Impress maze. You'll go through a few spiky ?areas afterward, so try to?? run as fast as you can here.

After crossing the spike??s, take a right before the circular walkway. Make sure to avoid the middle of the path, where a spiky structure will drop down.

Continue forward, and you'll eventually encounter two entryways. Ignore the first one and take a right with? the following pathway.

As you progress further, you'll come across another cr?ossroads. Go through the circular opening at this poin?t, where there should be glowing fireflies.

Continue forward to reach an area with multiple rolling poles. Take a right here a??nd immediately turn left. Then, take another left (avoid the third spiky pole).

Go toward the ground spikes and keep?? ??heading straight forward to progress further in the maze.

Walk fo??r a bit until you encounter an area with a circular entryway and spikes. Go through the spikes to continue on the right pathway.

You'll need to take a left turn shortly after a??nd wa?lk for a while.

At the following?? crossroads, take the fir??st right.

Keep traveling forward and avoid the m??any obstacles ahead. It should be relatively straightforward at this point, where y??ou'll stumble across a grass area. As a result, you'll complete the maze and start on a formidable boss battle.

How to defeat Lina in Dress to Impress: Lana Core Chapter 3

The scythe is a crucial tool for the upcoming Dress to Impress boss battle. Once you've picked it up, the fight against Lina will commence, and? you'll need to navigate through six challenging phases. We'll provide a detailed breakdown of each phase to help you prepare.

Phase 1

The first phase spawns a few of Lina's lackeys. Use your weapon to eliminate them while avoiding their har?mful strikes.

Phase 2

Lina will then spawn a few rocks on the ground. Jump on top of them to escape the flood, which will damage?? you if you are cau??ght in it.

Phase 3

By the third phase, the enemy will launch harmful projectiles marked with red lines. Avoid its radius and wait for t?he attack to finish. The red lines will appear a few more times, so just repeat this process again.

Phase 4

I??n the fourth phase, Lina will now use damaging red circles instead of lines. Use the same tactic as ??last time by running away from its radius.

Phase 5

Lina w??ill finally jump off the platform to take you down during the fifth phase. She'll target you and conduct a spinning attack initially. Phase 6

The goal of the sixth phase is simple: attack Lina as many times as you can. She'll be in a vulnerable state, allowing you to deplete a ton of her health. If she isn't brought down, the phases restart again (her health will still be impacted). Survive through the rounds and land the final blow the next time around. Where to find Purple Key (Teddy Bear) in Dress to Impress: Lana Lore Quest

The Purple Key is in Lana's Parents' Office on the second floor. Go up the stairs to the right of the central doorway, then enter the room next to Lana's main area on th?e left. Be careful of the enemy that lingers there, as it will deplete half of your heart each time it catches you. You'll begin with three hearts initially, which you can keep track of in the screen's bottom-left corner. Those who lose all their health will have to start over again or use the Revive option by spending Robux.

Look near the dre??sser to pick up the Purple Key on?? the floor.

To use the Purple Key in Dress to Impress: Lana Lore Quest, return outside and go to the garage on the right. You'll find a side door there, which you can unlock with the key. Go to the kitchen on the first floor and pick up the Orange Key in the bottom right corner. It'll be right next to the table with a lamp. Now, yo??u can go to the door with the orange lock (living room) and grab the Nail File inside the trash bin.

Lana Lore Red Key location (Journal)

Travel to the kitchen again a?nd approach the cooking pot in the top-left corner. Inside it, you'll find the Red Key, which can be used to open the basement. Go outside and head to the house's left side to find the basement doors. You'll f?ind the Journal on top of some boxes.

Lana Lore Green Key location (Greek Tales Book)

To get the Green Key in Dress to Impress: Lana Lore Quest, travel to the living room on the first floor (on the right). Go to ?the piano and interact with the potted?? plant to claim the key. The interaction may not appear initially, so try to walk around the plant to trigger the prompt.

Move to the Parent's Office and climb up the ladd?er to reach the attic. Collect the Greek Tales Book n?ear the crates on the left.

The first idea for Surrealism is based on one of the most famous pieces of art from the movement, The Son of Man by Rene Magritte. This outfit is actually quite simple and can be put together by anyone without requirin??g custom makeup or VIP.

The most important part is the gree?n apple, which you can pick up over by the accessories. Toggle it to Mischievous to place it in front of your face. Then, you just need to put together a black suit with a red tie. Use the suit jacket and pants found near the menswear, and then add a red necktie which you can find by the necklaces. 

You won’t need hair or ??makeup for this look, just the black hat. This invokes that odd dreamlike feeling Surrealism is supposed to have. 

This second idea creates a long dress with lots of layers, all with the same black and white pattern to look surreal. Start out with the Sabrina dress, which is available by using the DTI codes. 

Then, add layers as you see fit. I like to use the lace-up bodice and set all the colors to the same abstract black and white pattern, and the long sleeves with fur. Make sure to add gloves with that same pattern, to make th??e outfit almost difficult to look at. 

Finally, go to the hairstylist and choose the bouffant hair, coloring it white and black. You can leave t??he face blank, or add eyelashes only (also a code item) to keep it dreamlike and strange. If you have custom makeup, this is a ??great place to flex your skills with it.

Harajuku is one of the most broad themes you can get in DTI, so when it comes time to get ready, it can be easy to ??get lost. Luckily, we’re here to share some of the best outfits you can use in DTI for the Harajuku theme.

Harajuku Street Style

Bright and colorful, Harajuku fashion is known for its bold patterns, colors, and layering. One of the most popula??r styles, decora, is the most recognizable style?? under the Harajuku umbrella, so here are some of its staples:

• Legwarmers are arm warmers are always a great choice

Luckily, DTI has plenty of options for you to choose from to craft a bright and bold outfit that?’s perfect for walking the streets of Tokyo. The fluffy, layered skirt you can purchase near the Madoka outfit is perfect for this look, although feel free to use the tutu if you don’t have it purchased. Make sure to toggle the layers off.

When it comes to the top, the heart tank top allows you to match it with your skirt but still keep a fun pattern. I like the o?ne with the cats best, as it’s reminiscent of the kawaii aesthetic. 

Arm warmers are a must for this look, and choosing a simpler pattern of the same color palette as the top will make for a chaotic yet cohesive look that’s perfect for Decora. The shoes are my favorite, layering the combat boots, Madoka shoes, chunky sneakers, and bunny slippers is so cute. Make sure you use all the DTI codes to have everything available.

Finally, stack?? the teddy bear ne??cklaces for the extra touch you need. This creates a perfect Decora Kei look.

This second look is based on Lolita and Dolly Kei fashion, which are more subcultures of Harajuku? fashion that are instantly recognizable. To put it simply, you’ll want to look like a beautiful porcelain doll. The hair with colored streaks allows you to make a beautiful pastel look.

The layered skirt comes in yet again since it’s such a staple of t??he style. Keep the top layer toggled on this time. Pair it with the bow top and some puffy sleeves to create an adorable, fluffy look w??ith any pastel colors you want. I like to use softer patterns to give the look layers.

The leg warmers and Mary-Jane shoes complete the look, along with the Lolita headband? for that f??inal touch. 

What is Harajuku?

Haraju??ku refers to the street fashion seen in the Harajuku district of Tokyo. While you can find all types of fashion here, the ones most associated with the area are Decora, Lolita, and similar types. These are characterized by layers, fluffy skirts, and cute accessories stacked on top of each other.

Most Harajuku fashion is done by teenagers and young adults, who are expressing their youth. However, since there are all types of fashion?? seen in the Harajuku district, I heavily encourage finding your favorit??e subculture and having fun with it.

Strutting your stuff down the runway in Dress to Impress takes more than just the right outfit. It takes the right pose, too. While there are plenty of poses included wh?en you’re just starting out in the ranks, they don’t always suit what you need ??for your fit.

Luckily, there are tons m??ore poses you’re able to use for your outfit. But how do you get them? Have no fear, we’re here to show you how to get your hands on plenty of fire poses to use on the? runway and slay the competition with.

How to unlock more poses in Dress to Impress

There are two ways to get more poses in Dress to Impress. You can either purchase them from the Pose Shop, or play the game during any event that?? includes a? special pose pack. 

Purchasing poses

To purchase new poses in DTI, you can open the Pose Shop. Click on the pin??k pose button, and above the Solo, Duo, and Favorites option is a pink heart with a shopping bag. Click on this button to open the Pose Shop.

This will open up the shop that gives you options on what pose pack you’d l??ike to buy using in-game currency. Each pack contains multiple poses that your c??haracter can use at any time, the same as any other poses already unlocked.

I would recommend the Kawaii o??????????????????????????r K-Pop packs, as you get tons of poses for a relatively low price. However, since these don’t cost Rob??ux, you’re able to obtain them all for free.

You can preview each pack and all the poses it offers before you buy it, so you know exactly which ones you’re getting. This is the easiest way to get a h?old of new poses to use and is available at any time you’re playing the game.

Unlocking poses during events

The other way of acquiring poses is to play DTI during any event that includes a pose pack. Most recently, this was the Brat Collaboration that ran during August. If you l?ogged into DTI and played at any point during the event, you unlocked the Brat Pose Pack. 

There's no need to redeem them since they're already in yo??ur pose selections.

Once unlocked, these poses remain available for use indefinitely. However, if you missed out and didn’t play d??uring the event, sadly you will not be able to unlock these poses at all. Make sure to keep up to date with the game so you know what events are coming up.

If you've been playing Dress to Impress for a while, you might have noti??ced that? most people play with a more feminine body type. Nonetheless, you can get creative with male model outfits and still reach the top spot on a round's pedestal if your clothes fit the theme.

How to swap to male and female body types in Dress to Impress

You can switch between male and female model types using the mannequins in the Dress to Impress dressing room. Once you spawn in, turn toward the area next to the VIP room to find two statues on the back wall. Using a gender mannequin resets your character, so make sure you do this early in the round so you have time to dress yourself up.

Once you use a male or female mannequin, you'll take on the body type shown in the preview and reset your character. Doing this also removes any makeup, clothes, and hairstyles you have on, restricting you to masculine-styled options. In short, you won't be able to wear any dresses or have flowing long hair as a boy in Dress to Impress.

Admittedly, there are fewer options for male characters than for females. Most of the male-specific outfits also have fits for girls, giving you the freedom to use a more androgynous if you want to keep a feminine body shape. Otherwise, swapping over gi??ves you a noticeably larger body shape and height and more? defined muscles that can help make certain outfits stand out more.

Despite these restrictions, guys have their unique hairstyles and masculine facial features that females can't use, which can help spice things up a bit. They also get six-pack abs, which is always a fun bonus. There's no right or wrong answer when it comes to Dress to Impress, especially with how open-ended most themes are.

The upcoming Halloween Event has been teased on Twitter by the official Dress to Impress team, which shows off a whole new witch ??outfit players will be able to style with. This includes a witch hat, dress, and broom?, which you can see in the trailer:

The dress has been confirmed by the team in a response t?o separate into at least two pieces, for a wider variety of styling options, including just the bodic??e, and just the skirt.

The Halloween Update for Dress to Impress is on its way

We still don’t have an official start date for the event yet, but we do know it will be sometime in October, likely running to the end of the month for the holiday. The previous event, the Brat Collaboration with Charli XCX, lasted for around two weeks, running from August 17 to Augus?t 30. It’s likely that the Halloween Event will last for a similar amount of time, however, we don’t have anything official yet.

Besides the witch outfit, the dev team has confirmed that a new hairstyle will also be dropping in the update, the Harley Quinn hair, and confirmed that all clothing will remain after the event is finished for players to use?. So long as you played sometime during the Halloween Event, you will be able to use the clothing and hair from it after the event is over, likely under the codes items tab.

Budding fashionistas can get a taste of the catwalk with Roblox's Dress to Impress. You can follow the trends for each contest, or you can buck the system and go Trad Goth or Mori Kei. The latter is very much in season for autumn and works well with DTI's layering options.

Mori Kei - The Forest Type

There's an entir??e list written by the person who came up with the concept of Mori K??ei that I'll link further down. The underlying theme is pretty simple though.

• Loose, flowing dresses
• Flat-soled shoes
• Cozy is the name of the game
• Earthy tones
• Layers and accessories like scarves, ear muffs, and bags

Mori Kei Outfits

This outfit follows the basic principles of Mori Kei with the A-shaped dress, leggings, flat shoes, earthen tones, and layering. There's not much that we can do on the makeup front without spending Robux, so I opted for the face with freckles as it had minimal clown makeup. A crown of dried flowers tops eve??rything off.

Dress to Impress isn't great at handling clipping. Being able to layer any number of pieces atop one another is both a blessing and a curse. Wh?ile there are big, frilly dresses, the editing op?tions and clipping make them difficult to use. Either way, if layers and accessories are an option, then we need to try them.

This piece recolors the shoes and leggings from the first. I then took the full-length dress and edited it to be a skirt with a frilled mini-skirt layered on top. I had to use the smaller sweater as the larger option didn't fit w?ell and looked more like a blob.

As for accessories, the over-the-shoulder leather bag might as well be a standard-issue piece for Mori Kei fans. Throw in a cozy and flowy scarf and our top has plenty of detail without being cluttered. Some simp??le earrings ??and a headband adorning the messy bun complete the look.

What is Mori Kei?

The term "Mori Kei" comes from a user by the name of Choco on the Japanese platform, Mixi. She had created a group called "Mori Girl" after a friend stated "You look like you are in the forest." regarding Choco's outfits. The Mixi community was founded in 2006 and ran for roughly 13 yea??rs before shutting ?down.

As the group grew, Choco published a list to serve as a guideline for fans of the style. In essence, Mori Kei embodies a cozy lifestyle reminiscent of films like Howl's Moving Castle or Kiki's Delivery Service. It eschews modern marvels for a simplistic l?ifestyle and embraces a more rustic aesthetic.

After throwing on your favorite Mori Kei outfit, you might do things like journalin?g in a cafe with a hot drink or cataloging the flora and fauna of the wood. Mori Kei thrives in autumn as the leaves fall and the air chills. So, walking along a forest path and using the magnifying glass on your necklace to look at leaves would be totally appropriate.

The aesthetic's popularity lasted through?? the 2010s, but has largely faded. There are still Mori Kei communit??ies out there for fans, as nothing ever truly dies. Much like a babbling brook, it ebbs and flows.

While Roblox's Dress to Impress might have you putting together outfits designed to win the approval of others, it also affords us the opportunity to embrace our true selves. While that meaning varies from person to person, those with an af??finity for trad goth have several options available.

Bela Lugosi might be dead, but trad goth isn't

There are a few con??stants to be mindful of when it comes to the trad goth look, my handsome hobgoblins. While these staples should be acknowledged, they're not a rigid necessity. Trad ?goth is about embracing your true self, inner darkness and all.

• The more black, the better
• Black makeup (eyes, lips, and nails)
• Layers are great
• Big, messy hair in the vein of Robert Smith

Trad Goth - Male Presenting

Unfortunately, my ghastly gents, Dress to Impress doesn't have many options for you. As such, we need to rely heavily on layering black clothing and getting the messiest hair poss??ible.

In terms of clothing, the leather jacket, the tig?ht tee, and tighter jeans are ?the picks. The studded belt is a fantastic accessory, and any shoe will do, as they all look the same when dyed black.

When it comes to dying cl??othing black, don't forget all of the different sections. Black shoes with green accents just look weird. Also, don't make everything jet black as the details will be lost. A dark grey still conveys the look while allowing details to pop.

As for the hair, I've layered several different styles to make it as big and messy as possible. I also applied the same dying rules with?? some of the hair pieces having dark brown or dark grey. Black is great, but not at the cost of looking like a blob.

Trad Goth - Female Presenting

Dress to Impress has exponentially more options for a would-be Siouxsie. The heavy boots are an easy pick thanks to the alternatives largely being variations of a stiletto. The sheer leggings pair marvelously with the pleated skirt. As for the top, I layered a tied sweater atop a cami. A jeweled necklace dyed black serves well as?? a choker.

The nails are painted black and our face is the only one with black lipstick. The hair is an amalgamation of different styles layered atop one another to create? that iconic look. Each is a subtly different shade so as not to look like a shapeless mass.

What is Trad Goth?

Trad goth is a style of fashion within the goth "subculture." It stems from the rise of its n?amesake, the traditional goth culture that arose during the 1980s. Notable examples of pioneers would be the bands Bauhaus, Joy Division, and Siouxsie and the Banshees.

It was born out of the punk movement that began a decade earlier in the '70s, ??with the ter??m "gothic" being used as a descriptor of the mood and atmosphere shows projected. The music stood in stark contrast to the pop music of the time and served as a beacon for many.

In the decades since, people have taken the basis and modified it, eventually leading to evolutionary styles. Deathrock, Victorian, and cybergoth are a few of the more common styles in the West. That's not to say the goth culture is limited to these places. Vis?ual Kei arose in Japan during the same time and its later gothic stylings were championed by groups like Dir En Grey and Malice Mizer.

Taking off your clothes in the Roblox Dress to Impress experience is important if you want to ?swap something out for another clothing pi?ece or accidentally equip one too many items. While it's as easy as pressing a few buttons, knowing exactly which ones to press is where the challenge lies.

How to take clothes and accessories off in Dress to Impress

Taking off clothes and accessories in Dress to Impress involves pressing the portrait button on the right side of your screen and selecting the X icons for anything you wish to remove. In this menu, you'll see all of your clothes, accessories, and hair currently equipped, allowing you to remove any you'd like instantly. You can also tap on each item to change its colors and patterns i??f you just want to tweak them slightly.

Alternatively, if you want to change or remove your hairstyle, you can do this right a??t the salon. While you're selecting a hairstyle, press the X under your current hair to get rid of it and try out some new options. Although it's easier to do it from the Portrait menu if you're out of the salon, this gives you anothe?r method if you're still there and need a quick change.

Be careful as you're taking off clothes or accessories. Dress to Impress doesn't ask for confirmation, so once you press that X button, the item is gone until you equip it again. Make sure you're confident you want to swap it out, or else you might accidentally remove something you wanted to keep or run out of time before trying s??omething new.

Dress to Impress is one of the most popular games on Roblox to date, with hundreds of thousands of players daily. Players dress up to various themes to be voted on, with players ?with the highest s?core finishing on the podium.

Part of the game is being able to change your nail color wi??th a nail technician dutifully waiting to help you out. It’s this nail tech, ?named Lana, that leads you into the horrifying lore that’s going on underneath the surface of the game.

Seeing as how the story is scattered throughout details in the game, questionnaires held by the official Roblox accounts, videos, and more, it’s tough to keep track of. Here’s the full story of the lore on Dress to Impress, and what’s going on wi??th that creepy nail technician.

Lana lore explained

The lore began on April 1, 2024, during the April Fool’s Day update. Instead of Lana a?ppearing normally, s??he was crying. On her desk was a journal, where Lana confessed that she hated working as a nail tech at the runway. She said she felt like nobody knew her name and no one appreciated her. 

However, it took a turn for the creepy when Lana proclaimed she would get her revenge on all of those who ignored her and that she would set fire to the nail studio. Behind her were missing posters, and next to the diary was a target list. It included many of the developers of Dress to Impress. The important ones to note on the list are th?e creator of the game, Gigi, and M0T0PRINCESS, who writes most of the lore.

Soon after this update, an official YouTube channel was made by Lana, LanaDoesNails, and unsettling videos began to be posted, filled with red lighting and static. They’re very reminiscent of analog horror. These videos didn’t make a lot of sense to the players when they were first posted, but th??ey’ll be important later on. 

Lana airing out all the dirty laundry on the runway caught the attention of the wrong people. On April 20, the next update came out with a new diary on Lana’s desk. It reads that the Lana at the desk is not the real Lana. She’s been replaced by a doppelganger. The reader is then told to find her, with Lana’s Roblox user ID appearing. Go to her page, and you’ll find a creepy game called The Forest where you’ll learn more about Lana’s history. She was drowning in medical debt, and Gigi offered to pay it off if she worked at the runway. But Lana didn’t know the truth? about the runway at the time, which was that it was run by a mysterious group called The Awakening. 

That same diary says that Dress to Impress is run by this evil group, and they have plans against the player base. Lana created her own group on Roblox, ?which was meant to be a rebellion against The Awakening, called Saudade. Several accounts were already a part of the group, and many players flocked to join Lana against The Awakening.

The Awakening relates back to Lana’s YouTube. The first video posted what appeared to be security footage before a red and black face appeared on the screen asking why Lana dared to reveal their plans. Since the video was titled Awakening, it’s not hard to infer that it’s the same group threatening ??Lana that runs the game.

More questions than answers

Lana would hold questionnaires in her server with the players, answering questions about both groups. However, something was off in these questionnaires. One day, Lana would be wearing an eyepatch, and then the next claim she’d never worn?? an eyepatch in her life. She would give conflicting answers, even claiming that The Awakening wasn’t evil at all after saying Gigi and The Awakening wanted to use the player base for human experiments. 

It turns out that players were not speaking to the same Lana the entire time. Someone was cloning Lana, and different doppelgangers would show up and answer questions. Lana’s account and the Saudade group would post that someone was taking over Lana’s account and using her for their own means, including sacrificing the members of Saudade. 

Lana then does something wild â€?she begins? holding executions of her group members in her questionnaire server. No, I’m not kidding. She executed three Saudade members before M0T0PRINCESS held her own questionnaire, claiming that Lana was using the body parts of those killed to make herself stronger. 

In the ?final questionnair??e, two former Saudade members kill Lana. Or they at least killed one of the Lanas. 

A YouTube video titled The Last Serenade was posted quickly afterward. This video reveals that Lana is still out there and leads players to a portal at the end. This portal brings you to The Fortress server, where you can ex??plore rooms that give us a huge look at wh?at’s actually happening through the various notes on the walls and

The Beast Within

Lana’s doppelgangers, and subsequently everything awful that’s been happening with The Awakening, have been orchestrated by a massive Eldritch monster named Agamemnon. This creature has been the one creating all the Lanas t?o do their bidding, using the body parts to gain strength, and likely is who really started The ??Awakening. Agamemnon manipulates the Lanas in an attempt to reach his pure form. 

This? was further confirmed by another video, which shows how Agamemnon manipulated Lana into trusting him and doing what he wanted?. 

Hints of Agamemnon can be found in the Dress to Impress servers, such as walking through the?? wall into what’s referred to ??as the meat room (which many theorize is Agamemnon’s stomach) or entering Freeplay Mode and finding the mural which shows a horrifying, massive red and black creature. This is Agamemnon. 

I?n the Summer Update for the game, a new diary was found. It simply repeated “I love my jobâ€?repeatedly. On the next page, “I don’t feel the plagueâ€?is written. This relates back to Agamemnon, who started a group called The Plague. Lana is also in this group, and we have yet to find out what The Plague plans to do. 

This leads us to the most recent lore ??in the September 1 update. Lana ha??s been entirely replaced by a new nail tech, Lina. If you walk through a spot in the wall in the nail room,  you’ll drop down to a floor below where a Lana is being held in a cage, next to an empty one labeled for another Lana. 

The Plague is coming

While there’s still a lot to be uncovered, this is what we can take from the lore. Dress to Impress is being run by a cult called The Awakening, which serves to help the creature Agamemnon gain strength to reach its true form. Lana has been cloned many times to aid in this, but some of the clones are going rogue and trying to warn t?he players before Agamemnon can gain enough strength. 

What’s still a mystery is whose side Lana is really on. Is she? being manipulated into thinking she’s doing what’s right? Or is she evil? Is the real Lana trying to stop all this but isn’t abl??e to? What happens if Agamemnon gains full power?

A good guess is that The Plague is the chaos that will reign down upon the Earth if Agamemnon reaches its true form. However, I don't know how this would be shown in a game about dressing up in cute clothes. We’re hopeful that the upcoming Halloween?? Update will give us answers, but nothing is for certain.

On the surface, Dress to Impress seems? like a simple fashion game that anyone can play and enjoy. However, next time you’re getting ready to slay the runway, don’t forget about what’s going on underneath the floorboards.

Starting from the third Shine's spot, head out the door toward the beach to find the next Shine in front of some marble pillars. Since this one is so close to th?e previous one, you can also grab this within one intermission without too much trouble.

Shine five

Last but not least is the fifth Shine, which requires you to complete a small parkour or 'obby' course. You'll find these in the intermission area, and ??they're usually pretty quick and easy to finish. However, if you struggle with one course, you may have to play a few more rounds and try again, as intermissions only last one minute. Once you complete the obby, you'll find the final Shine on the ending platform.

In total there are three Dress to Impress The Games quests, which each have their own specific task in order to complete them. Each quest must be completed in sequential order. Once you complete Quest 1, a portal will unlock that takes you to the next quest, until they are all completed. Here is how you can complete every The Games quest in Dress to Impress:

Quest 1: Partner (duo) with another player. You need to place in the Top 4.

You can complete the first Dress to Impress The Games quest by teaming up with another player, entering the same round together, and bot??h finishing in the Top 4 of a single round together. This can be in any order, as long as you are both i??n the Top 4.

As most players are try?ing to complete this quest, it should be easy to find others to partner up with to knock out this task and complete Quest 1.

Quest 2: Compete in an obby with a timer. You need to place in the Top 3.

For the second Dress to Impress The Games quest, you need to complete an obby with a timer and finish in the Top 3. This quest needs to be completed solo, so make sure you are not with a duo partner li?ke the previous quest.

?Once the timer ends, as long as you have completed the obby in the Top 3, you ??will complete Quest 2. If you finish in fourth or lower, you will need to try again.

Quest 3: Compete in a mermaid themed race. You need to place in the Top 3.

Finally, you need to complete the new mermaid-themed race that is part of the Dress to Impress The Games event to complete the third and final quest. You also need to place in the Top ??3 of the?? race.

If you finish fourth or later, you w??ill need to race again and go for Top 3.
