The latest patch includes a host of changes being made to the overall gameplay, including fixes for plenty of bugs. With the bugs now squashed, the community will likely have a better experience across all the available modes. To skip any halftime show in EA Sports College Football 25, simply hold the X button if you're playing on PlaySta??tion 5, or hold the A button if you are playing on Xbox Series X|S. It's that simple. Unfortunately, there's no sort of indicator, notification, or progress bar when holding the button to skip the halftime shows, but trust us, it works!

Despite this being a rather straightforward solution for skipping halftime shows in College Football 25, many players had no idea exactly how to do it since there's no indication of how to do so anywhere in the game. For reference, similar games like Madden typically have a brief message at the bottom ??of the scree??n illustrating how to skip them.

While some of the p??layers on the subreddit are shocked that others didn't know how to skip the halftime shows, a majority of the comments are from fans thanking user AntawnJamison for sharing the tip, while also voicing their frustration that the information wasn't more easily available.

These 4 and 5-star schools share a few things in common—their programs easily attract top talent, and all of them have great starting squads that push for the Championship. However, there's a gap between these schoo?ls and the top 4 (whose programs are rated at 5*).

10 best 4-star schools to pick in College Football 25 Dynasty mode

A 4-star program rating means you'll still have some work to do after choosing the school. While you'll enjoy a strong start with a solid sq??uad and excellent ratings, climbing to the very top won't be quite as easy when c??ompared to those starting there.

Remember that th?e star rating is a composi??te average of your program's grades and does not reflect the squad's quality. Talented athletes exist all over, so don't bank on those program grades alone.

I really like the fact that despite having great program ratings and squads, most of the 4-star schools still offer some challenges. The Auburn Tigers might have a good program rating, but their squad has a lot ??of room for improvement. On the other hand, schools like Oregon Ducks and Texas Longhorns could match the best 5-star schools on the field.

Unlocking different abilities with the help of XP helps determine a coach's archetype. The coach archetype, in turn, decides how he manages different aspects of the school's pr??ogram. While every ability has certain uses, some of them are outright better than the rest.

When picking between the best abilities, you're not restricted to a single archetype. In? fact, all three core archetypes have some handy abilities that should be prioritized.

One of my favorite abilities on this list is the Always be Crootin', which is such a useful one to help improve your squad. The additional scouting hours are extremely helpful when it comes to drafting prospects. Similarly, the Star Maker ability is great to develop your athletes quicker in College Football 25.

Ultimately, you can't have all the abilities as unlocking them requires XP, an?d the cost isn't the same. Make s?ure to prioritize those that fit your style of management better.

College Football 25 Title Update 1 is now live, and there are some major changes to gameplay and all ga??me modes.

Many of the bugs ??EA Sports reported in an e?arlier notice were on the agenda for this update. According to the official patch notes, major tweaks are being made to gameplay, especially in terms of how offense and defense work.

That's not all, either, as the update also fixed some significant issues in RTG and Dynasty. With all of the small here-and-there tweaks, College Football 25's Title Update 1 worked out to be a hefty list for the? series return.

Having autosave in College Football 25's Dynasty mode has certain benefits, such a??s preventing the loss of your in-??game progression.

Whenever you complete a game or advance a week (or multiple weeks??), the progress is automatically saved by the game.?? As beneficial as the system is in most circumstances, a few issues could arise. For one, there are a few bugs that might make you lose an important game. Or you may end up making a rash decision and want a recourse. Despite the autosave being present in Dynasty mode, there's a possible workaround.

Is it possible to turn off autosave in College Football 25?

As of August 7, there's no way to disable autosave in Dynasty. Despite going through all the settings within the game, there's no option to turn off the game from saving your progress automat??ically. This is applicable for situations following the completion of a game or when you simulate a week.

College Football 25 autosave workaround

So, you can't disable ?autosave, at least not as of writing. As I said, there's a simple workaround.

• Once you're inside Dynasty mode, press the RS once.
• This opens up the option to create a manual save point. Create one, and give it an identifiable name.
• Now, proceed with your save till another autosave is created.
• The autosave will have the same name as the last save point you created, but it won't overwrite that save.
• Since there are certain bugs in College Football 25, it's better to create two manual save points. If the game accidentally autosaves one of your manual save points, you can use the second one as a backup.

I am unsure why College Football 25 doesn't have a way to reload ?Dynasty mode saves, even if you're playing the single-player experience. Having an option to disable autosave is certainly going to offer more choices to players. It will be interesting if EA Sports has a change of heart and lets?? us have more options with a future title update.

Just like in real life, speed is the best friend of wide receiver (WR) in College Football 25. The fast?er they are on the ground, the harder it's going to be for any defender to keep pace as they run their routes or burn rubber towards the end zone.

Sure, ?they will need to be good at jumping and catching the ball, but that's of little use if they can't use their abili??ty to run. Let's take a look at the ten fastest WRs on the default roster.

10 WRs in College Football 25 with the highest speed

Determining the fastest WRs is easy, thanks to the SPD rating. The SPD rating is a direct reflection of how fast an athlete will be on the field. I have also added the agility stat on the side (which has??n't been used as judgment), as it's another critical area for the wide receiver position.

The WR position is at a tricky spot in College Football 25 when it comes to speed. On the one hand, several athletes are fast, with Nyck Harbor being the fastest of the lot. In fact, he's the only WR with a SPD rating of 99. On the other hand, most of th?e names on this list don't have a notable OVR rating.

The most all-rounded athlete on this list is Texas' Isa?iah Bond. With a SPD rating of 98 and an OVR of 88, he's a cut above the remaining names on the list. Do note that there are more athletes with 98 SPD in the game, but they haven't been placed here due to having lower OVR ratings.

According to some players, it's typical for the AI-controlled team to go on a hyper-drive towards the end of quarters suddenly. This can result in a sudden ?shift in tone for the match, much to the irr??itation of those playing against the computer.

College Football 25 players want AI behavior to be balanced

A Reddit p??ost made by user u/Ninersempire123 summed up the exact issue that players have been having in College Football 25. According to them, the behavior of the AI changes entirely as the last two minutes of a game begins. The user feels that a team shouldn't suddenly become unbeatable when they were poor throughout the game.

Now there's no evidence in bold about anything like this happening during a game. While I am no pro, there are times when a game has changed dramatically, and I have managed to lose. Usually, they have happened mostly in Dynasty mode, when my AI-controlled opponent suddenly starts to make some incredi?ble passes,?? while I can't even avoid a sack.

Of course, playing over 1100 hours of EA FC 24 has taught me that the game will someti?mes do incredible things when a contest is about to finish. It seems that I am not the only one, as Reddit user u/Rydahx commented of such incidents happening in FIFA (previous franchise name for FC) and other sports games.

The incidents being reported are random, but there are similarities. User u/Methodikul pointed how a game completely turned on its heels as they managed to blow out a comfortable lead. In another case, the CPU's scoring chances seem to go up whenever it makes long throws.

Of course, there's no benefit ? for EA Sports to rig a game in Dynasty or Road to Glory. You can actually disable autosave, and even overturn a loss if ?it hurts you that much. Yet, there are these incidents where players have felt being hard done by the AI. Additionally, game management is an important element in real life.

You won't usually expect players having to resort to time management in College Football 25 (it's a video game after all), but user u/Lazerdude is doing exactly that to kill any chances for the AI to do anything. However, an elegant plan, no matter how intelligent it is, can sometimes go wrong.

It's pretty clear that at least certain players in College Football 25 are having to withstand the strange behavior of the AI. It's possible that this might not be a part of the game design and occurring due to some bugs. If that's indeed the case, then ??it's better to expect a fix in the coming days/weeks from EA.

A school with a 3-star Prestige Level is right in the middle of the road between the elites and the ones that might not be good enough. Yet, one of the earliest tu??torial objectives in the game requires you to perform touch passes successfully. You might no??t get any instructions for it, but it turns out, it's really more simple than you'd think.

What is a touch pass in College Football 25

In simple words, a touch pass is somewhere between a bullet pass and the more advanced lob pass. It's the middle spot in both? speed and air-time, not quite zipping into the receiver's hands, but not airing it out for a high grab either.

How to perform a touch pass in College Football 25

The controls ??for performing a touch pass is pretty much the same across all control layouts. You press the icon button of your receiver, and the main challenge is to choose the correct power. Let off the button too early, and you end up performing a lobbed pass. Keep the button pressed for too long, and you throw a bullet pass.

Typically, I try to lift off the button when the power is between one-third and two-thirds filled. In simpler wor?ds, charge it up about a halfway or so, and you'll throw a touch? pass.

Do note that this pass will be easier to perform in Revamped and Placement-Accuracy pass??ing schemes. In Placement passing, the power bar has to be filled till three-fourths. In classic, it's very difficult to perform a touch pass as there's no power meter to begin with. (My recommendation - just go with Revamped passing as it will make your life a lot easier.)

I usually go with a touch pass only in certain situations when a defense doesn't surround my receiver, but he isn't also making a forward run. It offers just that extra bit of time for t?he receiver to grab the ball in a secured fashion.

• On offense, reach a position when you're approaching the end zone without the fear of being tackled. This is a crucial point to remember. If you're in close proximity to a defender, showboating shouldn't even be on your mind.
• Once you're in the clear and about to approach the end zone, press and hold the L2, R2, and X buttons. For Xbox users, this will be LT, RT, and A buttons.

Crossplay is a huge advantage when it comes to matchmaking in College Football 25. When enabled, it allows PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series XlS players to belong in the same matchmaking pool. A larger pool ??results in quicker matchmaking.

Unfortunately, the same benefits aren't available if you're trying to play an online Dynasty save. During offense, you'll mostly call a Pass or a Run. The RPO i??s a hybrid option where the final decision is made based on the reactions of the opposition defense. Getting it right can earn you?? yards, but a poor decision could cost your team dearly.

How to utilize Run-Pass Option in College Football 25

There are two d??ecisions you can take when choosing an RPO play:

• Make a run with the running back.
• Keep the ball with the quarterback and look for a pass.

If you want to make a run with the running back, don't press? any button after the snap. Your RB will automatically take the ball and make a run.

If you want to pass using the quarterback, press X/A on your PlayStation/Xbox controller to snap the ball, then press the button of your intended receiver. This will execute the quick pass.

For a beginner, a Run-Pass Option will appear to be pretty attractive in College Football 25. After all, you're not locking yourself into a specific play before snap. However, mastering an RPO can be pretty difficult. You have to keep an eye on the opposing defenders. Depending on whether they're going to follow your run or pass options, you'll want to target the players they let through?.

If the defenders are going to leave a gap for your pass option, then you want to target the receiver. Likewise, if it looks like they're covering your wideouts, then the run could pick up yards. In my experience, a Run-Pass Option wor?k??s great when you want to make a simple pass/run into the wider areas.

Ho??wever, always practice this play in open practice before you try to recreate it in a game, as making an erroneous decision could prove costly fo??r your team.

How to do a lob pass in College Football 25

Throwing a lob pas??s is pretty similar to perfor?ming a bullet pass, but there's one extra button that needs to be pressed.

• Press the L1/LB button and hold on to it.
• Press the icon button of the receiver.

There's a fundamental difference - you don't have to wait for the power to reach the yellow zone. On most occasions, your power bar will be filled between 20-25% while atte?mpting a lob pass. This is different from a bullet pass, where you try to let go when the power bar is in the yellow zone.

This is due to the trajectory of a lobbed pass. A bullet pass is flat and has a lot more velocity. A lobbed pass is like throwing the ball high up in the air at the cost of velocity. Th?is pass is a lot slower but travels to more extended heights as well. The extra height helps the receiver get up in the air and make a play, or get out ahead of defenders.

When to do a lob pass in College Football 25

In my early days with the game, I concluded that mastering the lob pass is quite tricky. This is partly because the game didn't tell me that there was this option to begin with (ignore my novice-ness for a moment). Part of the difficulty lies in processing w??hen to opt for this pass.

Sometimes, you'll find your runners have a step on their defender. A fade route or deep slant can end up getting way out ahead of coverage. The lob?? pass ideally targets them where they'll be, trying to land the pass in-step with a runner that's made some space. It's a strong mechanic to get the ball in a receiver's hand and past the defense.

Like all mechanics in College Football 25, make sure to hit the Practice mode to try this pass out. Once you master the lob pass, the available options in the offense will increase significantly. Sure, it will ?take time, and a few failures as well, but the rewards are definitely worth the lessons.

How do coach archetypes work in College Football 25 Dynasty Mode?

Archetypes are essentially specializations available to coaches in Dynasty Mode that offer certain advantages in improving and buildin?g their programs. Every archetype has several defined skills, which can be developed with the help of XP. You can get XP by completi?ng weekly tasks and objectives.

In College Football 25, there are 11 Archetypes in total, and you get to pick from three base options - Motivator, Recruiter, and Tactician. Once you choose the base, a detailed skill t??ree gets unlocked. How to spend the XP points depends on you; specialize in one or two skills, or evenly spread the points out to become a hybrid.

Best coach Archetype in College Football 25 Dynasty Mode

First, it's essential to understand that all three Archetypes have their exclusive set of merits in College Football 25. The choice you make will largely depend on your chosen school and the quality of your program. In our experience, Recruiter is going to b?e the best Archetype to start wit??h, at least early on.

Recruiters have skills that lead to faster scout??ing and require fewer hours to fully scout a prospect. This will help you to move ahead of your competition and scout more prospects every week. In my save, Recruiter gets a lot of focus early on.

Comparatively, a Tactician comes into play only after you have some talented prospects in your hands. A tactician aids the growth and development of your players??, but it's essential ?to get the right ones into your program at first (hence, Recruiter).

The Motivator is all about?? the big games that come later in the season. There's no sense to invest in it early on, as your X?P is better served elsewhere.

While College Football 25 has official licenses for all 134 teams and conferences, few of them are currently showing ?wrong logos. Per EA's comm?unity post:

• The following teams/conferences have incorrect logos: Stanford, UMass, Western Michigan, Jacksonville State, FIU, New Mexico, SEC, Conference USA, and the Sun Belt
• UTEP and Wyoming display incorrect athletic branding on their equipment in Dynasty
• Visual issue with conference patches when changing a small subset of teams Conference in Dynasty 

There are similar issues wi?th the audio part of gameplay, which includes partially wrong commentary as well.

• Incorrect commentary when playing as the first game of the season in Dynasty at Utah
• Florida State’s War Chant and Tennessee's “Rocky Top�?are not audible when playing only on Xbox Series S

While I have loved the overall immersive nature of the game, I would hope that these inaccuracies get resolved as soon as ?possible. Sadly, there are no current workarounds, so the only solution is to patiently wait for the updates.

College Football 25's Dynasty Mode set to get some work

The developers have also announced that while the Dynasty Mode is intended to generate dynamic results, t?he Super Sim Logic Tuning will be receiving a balance update.

• Super Sim Logic Tuning: The team is looking into tuning of the Super Sim Logic, including FCS schools upsetting too many Power 5 schools

?A few more issues have a?lso been posted, along with their possible workarounds.

• Issue when adding additional teams to the PAC-12 conference when using custom conferences does not generate a new conference schedule as intended. Workaround: After adding teams to the PAC-12, open the Conference Rules and set Divisions to ON. Users will see they can now set the number of conference games by toggling back and forth. Users can then disable divisions and edit other settings as desired.
• Issue with modified conference rules not saving: Workaround: Users can re-enter the Conference Rules screen to ensure their settings were saved and are valid. If they did not save, then the rules are not valid with their current setup. 
• Occasionally, when a recruit reaches their Top 5 stage, it will not display the recruit is “Ready for a Visit�?despite meeting the requirements. 
• Recruiting Tuning: The team has planned additional tuning to recruiting logic. 
• Small chance of a freeze when simulating individual plays quickly after exiting “Super Sim�? Workaround: Wait a couple seconds in between simulating the individual plays before exiting Super Sim.
• Issue with the Practice Tile not initially appearing in the “Team�?tab. Workaround: Exit the mode and then re-enter.
• Current maximum cap of 20 created coaches instead of the intended 32 created coaches. Note: The team is targeting Tuesday for an issue fix that limits Dynasty’s to 20 created coaches. A current work around is using existing coaches in the remaining spots to reach 32.
• Player jersey numbers and/or OVRs changing when editing certain players gear.

Additionally, the developers are also looking to resolve issues that are?? currently there w?ith online Dynasty saves.

College Football 25's Team Builder has been a hub of activity since it's launch. It appears that there are a couple?? of issues that can arise when p??layers are trying to generate a custom school.

• When using a Team Builder team in Play Now, cleats are defaulted to Adidas regardless of selected brand apparel. Note: This does not impact Team Builder teams used in Dynasty
• Second custom image layer not appearing on the field. Workaround: Add a second layer, then select a generic image, and then re-select your custom image.

Instead of running a Balanced AI with Heisman, a combination of Aggressive with Heisman could be a lot more fun. On one hand, this makes defeating the AI extremely challenging. On the other, it's allowing?? many, including Bordeaux himself, to love the challenge.

Some users also shared their own opinions that while this d??ifficulty setting is a challenge, there are workaro?unds as well. For most of them, the big positive is the dynamic nature of the gameplay - something you might not necessarily expect when going up against AI-controlled teams.

New patches are expected in the upcoming days in College Football 25. It wil??l be interesting to see if the developers reduce ??the general degree of difficulty from Heisman or if it continues to be a tough test for the community.

But you're not the only one looking out to bring in new talent, as other schools (AI/human controlled) in your save will try to do the same. While the prospect lists consist of many athletes with different talents and qualities, it's your job to zero in and bring some of them to your team. This is easier said than done, as unlike recruitment in Madden NFL, there are a lot more factors to consider.

How does recruitment work in College Football 25 Dynasty mode

Recruitment should be your foremost area of concern after creating a College Football 25 Dynasty mode save. In the Recruiting section, go to the Prospect list.?? There are other options like Transfer Portal, My School, and Top Classes, and you can ignore them for the time being.

The Prospect List contains the names of all available freshmen who are yet to join a school. There are different m?etrics, and here are some of the more important ones:

• Rank: Prospective Rank in the recruiting class
• Need: Highlights team needs, and if a prospect plays in a position that warrants immediate attention.
• Rating: A system of star ratings ranging between one and five stars that indicates the potential quality of a recruit.
• INT: An athlete's potential interest to join your team.
• Stage: Shows where the athlete is in terms of selecting his school of preference.

There are a a few other at??tributes as well,, like year, home state, and offers. Once you're interested in recruiting someone, press the X/A button to add them to the Recruiting Board.

• Step 1: You'll notice at the top of your screen that you have a certain number of hours every week. Use this to scout the prospects. I advise that you always scout a prospect completely.
• Step 2: Check the prospect's Overview Screen. This screen shows essential information, such as their top schools and Dealbreakers.
• Step 3: If you're not among a prospect's top 8 schools or cannot match their Dealbreakers, it's best to avoid investing any resources in them.
• Step 4: You can now invest more hours in certain actions to help a prospect make up his mind. Do note that the cost of an activity goes up based on how much influence they can impart.
• Step 5: Make sure to offer a scholarship to a prospect you want to add to your squad. Make sure to make the best choice possible, as you have a maximum of 35 scholarships to hand out in a season.

How does Scouting work in College Football 25?

Once you're interested in a prospect, you'll want to scout them. Doing till 100% helps yo??u gain the following information:

• Attributes
• Physical abilities
• Mental abilities
• Development trait

Now it might not be possible that 100% scouting of a certain player will showcase his entire details. For example, the Developmen?t trait of a prospect could be hidden if your coach doesn't have the required badges. However, scouting helps you to go beyond the star rating of a prospect??.

Additionally, some athletes possess certain abilities that can turn them into great ??talents with proper development. As an undrafted prospect, the information available during recruitment will be limited. Scouting allows you to bypass that limitation to some extent, allowing you to make better decisions.

Once you have enough information, you can also use the different Actions available. All Actions require certain hours, and ther??e's an outer limit applicab?le for every prospect. Usually, sending all the hours on the same Action won't work for all prospects. For example, a soft sell might be required to woo one prospect, while you might have to sway another.

How does My School and Dealbreakers work in College Football 25?

In the Recruitment section, you can check the My School tab to check the different grades of your program. For each category, you'll notice specific conditions required to improve your grades. A high?er grade will make your program a lot more attractive to a prospect. The grades of your program will keep changing throughout your Dynasty mode?? save.

Each prospect will reserve certain judgments for the grades. This will determine their motivation and Dealbreakers, which will, in turn, decide if they will be eag??er to join your school or not. In my experience, Dealbreakers have more importance; if your program doesn't meet the requirement, it's almost guaranteed that they won't sign up.

Best tips and tricks for College Football 25 recruitment

The ultimate aim is to get a prospect verbally commit to your program so that you can sign them up. If you manage to do so successfully, there will be an im??age like the one on the cover of this article.

While College Football 25 was releas??ed on July 16 in early acce??ss, here are a few tips and tricks I have applied in my Dynasty mode save.

• Pay a lot of attention to Dealbreakers.
• Always pay attention to the team's needs. This will also ensure that you don't end up with an imbalanced squad.
• Don't always focus on the star rating of a recruit. While a four/five-star recruit is an attractive prospect, you'll face severe competition.

Ultimately, there's no magic spell ?to get all the best talents for your school, which actually makes the Dyna?sty mode recruitment challenging and fun at the end of the day.

An interception is the act of blocking your opponent's pass from reaching the intended receiver. The motive is pretty apparent - stop the pass, and the resulting turnover could help to change your team's fortunes. While the process of interc?epting the b??all isn't rocket science, there are certain mechanics to master.

College Football 25 Interception guide

The controls in College Football 25 are pretty simple. As your opponent receiver tries to grab the ball, press the Y/Triangle button on your Xbox/PlayStation controller. This will make your defensive player try to catch the ball and attempt to reach it ??before the offensive rece??iver.

If you thought that actually making an interception ??is easy, think again. While the control is easy to remember, timing it correctly is the biggest challenge.?? First, it makes zero sense to try and intercept every pass. Sometimes, you could accidentally tip a lousy pass into an unexpected opportunity for your opposition.

Secondly, moving your ??defender is a really challenging aspect. Your opposition won't drop hints about whom they're going to pass. You can press the B/Circle button to switch between your players, but this isn't an efficient way. Instead, use the LS to control which player you want to switch to. You have to anticipate where your opposition QB might throw the ball and switch accordingly.

I typically try to guess when the quarterback is about to throw the ball. Yes, there's no way to guess the correct receiver on every occasi?on. While a delayed switch works, the chances of an interception go down dramatically. This is why it's important not to rely entirely on your intercepting skills during defense.

Secondly, every attempt won'??t guarantee success, especially if your defensive player has relatively poorer stats. However, it's still worth trying to intercept and cause a turnover whenever it seems feasible. While you might not have much success initially, repeated practice will help you to improve the timing?? and game sense.

The Dynasty mode allows you to coach a high school of your choice (or multip??le ones) over years to create a lasting legacy. While you can enjoy this mode on your own, there's also an option to create and experience an online version with your friends. While the online Dynasty mode did have a few problems in early access, most of the errors have now been patched.

How to create a College Football Dynasty mode save with your friends

Creating a Dynasty save that multiple players can play is p?r??etty easy.

• Load up the game.
• From the main menu, select Dynasty.
• Select New (assuming you're creating the save for the first time).
• Choose Cloud Dynasty. The other option is the more traditional offline dynasty mode, which puts you against AI-controlled opponents.
• For rosters, you can go with any one of the two options.
• Go to Dynasty Settings.
• Scroll down till you find the Online Commissioner Settings.
• As a commissioner, you can set the parameters for the league. This determines if your online Dynasty save will be private or open to the public.
• Since this will be a private save, remember the name and password for the league.
• Your friends can search for the league using the same name from the Search League option on the Dynasty home page.
• Your friends will have to enter the password. Once confirmed, they will be able to play with you on the same save.

The online version of the Dynasty mode works pretty well, but there have been certain issues. If the servers are down, ?you and your friends won't be able to access the league. As long as the servers are working fine, there won't be any issues trying to play games, recruit talents, and lead your schools to glory.

Like in single-player Dynasties, you and your buddies will also have to select your teams, create your coaches (or go with the real-life ??coach), and sign contracts. I would suggest it's best to decide before-hand who will represent which school.

The servers of the latest college football game have already had their fair share of troubles. While EA Sports has conducted two lengthy maintenances, some of the issues related to? logging into? the game have remained. The same happened earlier when many Xbox users weren't even able to start the game due to the breakdown of regular server services.

What caused the College Football 25 unable to sign in on Xbox error

The primary reason behind today's breakdown was the Xbox Live service. An official tweet from Xbox Support's X account mentioned the issues that players encountered on the first day of the Standard Edition launch. Many reactions on the same thread made it clear that several players all over ??the world have suffered from this issue, and they couldn't join the party on the opening day (excluding early access).

How to fix the College Football 25 unable to sign-in on Xbox error

If Xbox Live service is down like it happened today, there isn't anything you can do. It's a significant issue on one or more of Xbox's core services, and a fix has to be done from them. However, make sure to check the official status of the servers if you have doubts about their functioning. As ??of writing, all Xbox services are up and running no??rmally.

If you can still start th?e game but can't get into Ultimate Team, here's a workaround that wo?rked for me.

• Start the game (even if you can't access EA's servers).
• Play any of the offline modes. My preference is the exhibition matches. Play a minute of any game, and leave.
• Try to get into Ultimate Team mode, and it should let you jump in.

I still expect the servers to have issues for the time being, as a lot of new players are expected to join College Football 25, putting pressure on the online services.
