In the opening section of Starfield, we're introduced to Vasco, the bulky robot that assists?? you on your quest to meet up with Constellation. Now, a figurine of the heavy-duty machine will soon be yours to own. But it's going to set you back a bit.

As spotted by GamesRadar, a company called PureArts that specializes in collectibles is launching its own line of Vasco figures. The Starfield companion is avail??able to pre-order now, with a pro?posed release date of Q3, 2024.

The model itself is fully articulated and is a 1/6??th representation of its video game counterpart. However, be prepared to fork over quite a bit as it's priced at $369. That does seem quite steep for a figure of a video game character.

Images on the site, as well as the above video, show how much detail has gone into this replica of the Starfield NPC. As well as having 15 points of articulation, this V??asco keepsake has also been licensed by Bethesda, so it's a legit piece of memorabilia.

Damn, it looks like the era of BRIDGET is set to continue �Not only has the Guilty Gear star made her GG Strive debut, appeared in some fun fan projects, AND received her own, real-life Bullet Yo-Yo, but merch maker Spiritale has now revealed a prototype wicked-looking figurine, currently in prod?uction.

The prototype capt??ures Brisket in all of her glory, posed exactly as she is in her Guilty Gear Strive splash art. Rocking her big ol' shoes �Bullet Yo-Yo in one hand and haunted companion Roger in t??he either, our girl looks set and ready to embark upon her next Bridgetquest. The fixed-pose figurine looks very similar in quality and design to Kotobukiya's "Bishoujo" range, though Bridget is also sporting a nicely detailed base as she comes kick-kicking her way into the next battle.

Unfortunately, Spiratale has not revealed a price nor a release window for the Bridget figurine. For whatever it's worth, Spiratale's typical character figurines tend to stand at a 1/7?? scale and usually run around the $200-$300 dollar ?mark. So the more hardcore fans among you might have to start saving up the pennies. To be clear, this price is pure speculation on my part, merely based on the company's previous releases. We'll be sure to give you a heads-up when Bridget is ready for pre-order.

Spine-busting collectible coming from Apex Toys

Just yesterday, we reported on Storm Collectibles' upcoming premium figure of Guilty Gear badguy... erm... Sol Badguy. But what if you aren't? all about Sol, what if you're all about the mischievous but thoroughly loveable Jack-O Valentine? Well, fret not, as Apex Toys has also announced that the Halloween lovin' gal is getting her own figure at some point in the near future.

As revealed during WonFest 2022, (and reported by Siliconera), the new Jack-O figure is scaled at 1/9, which translates to roughly eight-to-nine inches in height... or at least she would, if she were standing upright. Y'see, Apex Toys has teased the new figure with a suspiciously familiar silhouette, suggesting that our girl will be sporting her back-breaking, censor-worrying, meme-creating, crouch pose �the very same pose that took the internet by storm last year in the form of the "Jack-O Challenge."

Apex Toys did not release any other info in regards to the new Jack-O pose figure, so we don't know the release window, price, or pre-order dates. But given that we don't e?ven get to see an unpainted prototype, or even any new concept art, we are probably still a long way out from having to explain to our friends and relatives why the centerpiece of our lounge is a young woman in a bodysuit and a Halloween mask is essentially... well... "presenting."

Smol Juri coming to a desk near me soon

San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2022 is underway, bringing with it a huge selection of video games, movie memorabilia, celebrity signings, exclusive toys, and cosplay �Somewhere in the middle of all of that, there are even some comics. Also in attendance this week is publisher Capcom, which is taking the opportunity to shine a new spotlight on its upcoming fighting sequel, Street Fighter 6.

The attractive Capcom booth has demo booths in which it is showing off a build of the recently revealed fighter. The booth is bedecked in slick graffiti stylings, reflecting the hip-hop-infused visual style of the long-running franchise's next entry. The centerpiece is a cool mural of SF6 poster boy Luke, who is looking a helluva lot cooler splashed on the wall than he does busting out his dopey dance maneuvers. Some exclusive skateboards featuring SF6's initial four characters complete?? the wyld style diorama.

Over in the memorabilia sections, there are a variety of toys, figures, statues, and other collectibles being presented by a variety of merch makers. These include models of badass boxer Balrog, Korean assassin Juri, and an unfinished prototype of Darkstalkers' Morrigan.

Also on display at SDCC is a magnificent "life-size" bust of The Strongest Woman in the World, Chun-Li. Sculpted by premium statue maker PCS and featuring silicone skin, punched hair, and glass eyes, it seems likely that this is a prototype of what will be an incredibly expensive retail release.

Long-time Street Fighter associates UDON are also at SDCC, where they are shilling a selection of SF comics, along with exclusive editions of the Street Fighter Swimsuit Special featuring exclusive SDCC cover art. The retailer also has several cool shirts on the rack, featuring legendary characters such as Sagat, Chun-Li, Alex, and... erm... Amaterasu. Well, I suppose that they are in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

It has been 20 years since everybody's favorite Half-Genie Hero sashayed her way onto the Game Boy Color and into our hearts. From Pirate's Curses, to Risky's Revenges and even Seven Sirens, there's no denying that the magical gal and her fellow Scuttle Island denizens rank among the most likable, cheerful, and endurin??g characters of modern gaming.

To celebrate her ??20th anniversary, boutique outlet Limited Run Games has opened pre-orders on this delightful statue. The figurine stands around 10 inches tall, (including the base), and spotlights? shapeshifting adventurer in her classic genie garb and posed coyly at the viewer. The sun is shining, the weekend is just around the corner, and Good Smile Company has opened pre-orders on this ridiculously adorable Nendoroid of Guilty Gear's mysterious, straight-faced apocalyps???e lover, Ramlethal Valentine.

Like so many of her compadres in the mammoth Nendoroid range, (though only the second pulled from Arc System Works' anime fight franchise), Ramlethal stands a dinky four inches in height, (and most of that is her big ol' hat), and i?s authentically bedecked in her bladed coat and hot pants combo. Packaged with Ramlethal are Lucifero and her semi-sentient greatswords, an alternate set of arms, and an alternate face plate �so you can have grumpy or grump-and-shouting. Clear stands allow Ramlethal and her swords to defy gravity, giving the impression that they are floating in place. Nice touch.

Mai Shiranui joins the massive roster of Kotobukiya gals

While I've long since reduced my compulsive purchasing of video game/anime/pop-culture related merch, one line that still gets me to open my wallet now and again is Kotobukiya's "Bishoujo" range. While I've ditched much of the toys, collectibles, and figures I've bagged over the years, I still have a neat shelf sporting the likes of Street Fighter's Juri, Poison, and Cammy. Tekken's Lucky Chloe and Asuka, Marvel's Kamala Khan and Wasp, and many other awesome superstars. You can see some of them in this silly video.

But lordy, I'm going to need more room, as Kotobukiya has finally secured the King of Fighters '98 license, essentially confirming that the fighting femmes of my favorite franchise are all about to receive the Kotobukiya treatment. Case in Point, fiery kunoichi Mai Shiranui, who was revealed this weekend as the first KoF star to be immortalized in Kotobukiya form. No date wa?s offered for ??Ms. Shiranui's arrival, but we did get an awesome concept art mock-up, done by the awesome Shunya Yamashita. I'm sure the final piece will look suitably fantastic.

Given that the Kotobukiya license is for KoF '98 ??in particular, this suggests that Mai will potentially be followed by characters such as Yuri Sakazaki, Shermie, Blue Mary, Athena Asamiya, King, Chizuru, Mature & Vice, and perhaps my personal favorite, the indomitable Leona Heidern.

There's usually quite a wait from promo ar??t to prototype, and then prototype to pre-order, and then pre-order to launch. So we can expect more deta??ils on Mai and pals in mid-2022. I am doomed to buy them all. Every single one. C'est la vie.

The half-scale Dante statue stands a mighty 43 inches tall and sees the demon hunter stylized in his silver fox Devil May Cry V form. Dante is cast in polystone and features clothing stitched from real fabric, with detailing that includes real metal parts. Dante, poised in typical casual-as-all-hell fashion, comes equipped with his legendary firearms Ebony & Ivory as well as his head-cleaving sword, Rebellion. As I have noted on this here website before, I have a selection of toys lined up on my PC desk to keep me on the straight and narrow. Weta Workshops take Lara to The Lost Valley

Premium merchandise maker Weta Workshops has opened pre-orders on a limited edition statue of the legendary Lara Croft. The stunning display piece recalls the classic "Lost Valley" stage of the original Tomb Raider release, and depicts Ms. Croft in action as she fends off an attack from a pair of ravenous velociraptors, deep within some forgotten land?? lost to the annals of time.

Sculpted by Weta's Gary Hunt, the "Lara Croft The Lost Valley" statue is 1:4 ??scale, standing a mighty 31" high and 16" wide, with a weight of around 27 lbs. Cast in high-quality poly-stone, the statue will be available in limited order format — only as many pieces will be produced as pre-orders are received.?? No more, no less.

As you can see from the video above, the fine detailing — especially on the raptors and the jungle floor — is incredibly intricate, while the dynamism ?of the pose truly captures a "still shot" of physical action. It really is quite beautiful.

As for the damage... it will hardly come as a surprise to anybody that we're reaching into four figures — which is fast becoming the standard for premium gaming statues in the modern age. In news to brighten many mornings, Good Smile Company has announced that it will be adding Princess Sakuna from Xseed Games' Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin to its burgeoning Nendoroid range. The mischievous farmer was announced as part of the "WonHobby32" showcase, which reveale?d a selection of cute toys and collectibles for a var?iety of gaming and anime IPs. Has there ever been a character so suited to the cute toy brand?

Unfortunately, it seems like the Harvest Goddess is still a long way out, as Good Smile only has a single piece of concept art to show her fans, but it appears that Sakuna w?ill be fashioned in her lavish work garb, and will be accessorized with numerous tools and her trusty conical hat. We can likel?y expect the finished design to feature an alternate faceplate.

Released in November for PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin sees the tearaway goddess sent to a remote island in order to help the local community rebuild and farm their crops. Once there, however, Sakuna becomes embroiled in a battle between the ramshackle village and an army of monsters that roam the land. While Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin did not exactly light up the score board, developer Edelweiss has noted it is pleased with the product and would like to see Sakuna's adventures continue in a possible sequel.

PlatinumGames' NieR: Automata continues on its relentless quest to become one of the most merchandised titles in gaming history. The lat?est addition to the dystopian sci-fi series premium range of toys, figures, and models is th??is sweet replication (no pun intended) of android boy 9S, stylized in Nendoroid form.

The prototype Nendo was revealed by manufacturer Good Smile Company as part of the week's "WonHobby 32" showcase, which is debuting a range of toys and merchandise related to various Japanese properties. Nendoroid 9S is depicted in super-serious form, equipped with his trusty katana and accompanied by robo-pal?? Bot 153.
