September: Hogwarts Legacy Themed Event

I am guessing Dementors will show up in the Halloween event because Harry was attacked by them in a Quidditch match in Prisoner of Azkaban. Since the game is about the sport itself, the devs could very well su??rprise us with this easter egg. The Fall 2024 roadmap ends with this event and time for Winter to take over.

Season 1: Defense Against the Dark Arts

As soon as Qui?dditch Try Outs ends, Season 1 or Defense Against the Dark Arts will take over. This will be the first season of the game, so there will be plenty of new content ?to explore in the game. It's unclear whether the seasonal track will have 50 tiers or more. The exact date of the season is yet to be revealed by Unbroken Studios though.

Holidays at Hogwarts Event

While the exact dates are yet to be revealed, it's clear the Holidays event will take place in December. Holidays have always been a special time in the Harry Potter movies with all the festivities and memorie?s, and br??ing good vibes in general.

Yule Ball will be the final event for 2024 and it's also set to ta??ke place in winter.

Players take the sky as one of the classic positions in Quidditch: Chaser, Seeker, Keeper, or Beater. Quidditch Champions features a variety of Quidditch Arenas and maps including those never-before-seen in the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Quidditch Champions will also launch with a career mod??e as well as solo play or online co-op with up to three friends. There are also online player vs player matches, which are sure to be quite the competitive broomfights.

MLB The Show 24 is Sony's exclusive annual baseball game, and as expected, this latest iteration seems to feature home runs, strike outs, and even the fabled grand slam. MLB The Show 24 has reviewed rather well critically, averaging an 8.0/10 at the time of this post on Metacritic.

The final title for the September PS+ Monthly Game lineup is the horror title Little Nightmares 2 which is the platforming adventure sequel to the original Little Nightmares. The PlayStation Blog revealed the inclusion of the schools in Quidditch Champions, and this is the first time we're seeing ??their Quidditc??h pitches.

"Of course, a large part of the inspiration came directly from the Goblet of Fire film, which gives us the only visual glimpse into the students and cultures of two of the greatest magical schools in Europe," said creative director Farren Fox. "It left us wondering, how would students from these sc?hools approach Quidditch?"

Beauxbatons has a glamorous, scenic arena set with the backdrop of the French Pyrenees. It looks prestigious with "perfectly manicured" grass, pools surrounding the arena, and ornate stands for the crowd to watch the game. It seems to be the perfect stage for a Triwizard match in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions.

As you'd expect, Durmstrang is quite the opposite. Based on Northern Europe, it's set in a harsh cold, Nordic landscape, but it does have a pretty depiction of the aurora borealis overhead. Set during the night, you'll see flames flickering around the pitch, mountains in the distance, and an epic? Nordic ship floating in the water.

Of course, Viktor Krum and Fleur Delacour will be involved with these schools' teams. Krum might be tough to defeat as he's the seeker for the Bulgarian national?? team. You can pick Hogwarts, Beauxbatons,?? or Durmstrang in the game's Career mode when you go after the Triwizard Quidditch Cup.

If you manage to cast Accio on a Radeon R9 290X or higher, you should be able to run the game on High settings with a 1080p resolution. Thankfully, the Quidditch Champions PC requirements don't require too much of an investment, and it doesn't seem like it needs an SSD. It's likely to open up more players to the game when it releases this September.

Is the Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions Deluxe Edition worth buying?

Usually, the Deluxe edition of modern day video games tend to have a mark-up of $20-$30. In this case, it's $10, and in exchange, you get four house packs, and 2,000 Gol??????????????????????????d. At this point, there's no way to know what type of microtransactions will be there.

If you're a big Harry Potter fan (highly likely if you plan on purchasing a Quidditch game in the first place), I would consider picking up the Deluxe edition. The additional Gold could come in handy later when the game goes ??live. The Standard edition is a better pick for those who just want to try the game out as just another sports title.

You'll take on various roles in the beloved sport stemming from the famous book and movie franchise. If you were missing out on Quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy, tune in to this next adventure to get your fill. The trailer showcases the iconic trio with Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and, of course, Harry Potter. It also features other beloved characters, includi??ng the mischievous twins Fred and George.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be available on Day 1 on PlayStation Plus. Additionally, the trailer revealed a Bonus Legacy Pack for Hogwarts Legacy players, offering the exclusive Moontrimmer Broom skin. It also comes with a Sebastian Sallow skin and wand, as well as an Ancient Magic Emblem. I'm not too surprised to see Sebastian get his own cosmetic in this game, given how much attention he got from HL.
