Fortnite's Chapter 2 Remix event features plenty of nod??s to stories of the past. One particularly secret story deserves an appropriately secret set of quests. This guide will help you to hunt down 10 hidden Lawn Gnomes for a hefty chunk of battle pass XP.

War of the Gnomes

Back in the original Chapter 2, eagle-eyed players noticed certain props moving around the island between updates. Through the chapter, a story was told about a confrontation between the Lawn Gnomes and the Teddy Bears. Unlike most games, however, it wasn't told through cinematics or audi??o logs. It was told through the incremental changes made to props between updates.

Eventually, the war was won by the Teddy Bears, and the Gnomes were exiled from the island. However, they've been periodically spotted by players every now and again. With Chapter 2 Remix here, w?e thought perhaps we'd relive the early days of that fated war. Instead, it appears that the Gnomes and Teddy Bears now get along! They're hanging out in locations throughout the island, ready to hand over chunks of battle pass XP to players who find them.

Gnome locations in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix

There are ten gnomes throughout the island. As you get near them, you'll see an exclamation point icon to help track them down. They're hidden away quite sneakily, so this map will help you locate them a??ll.

• In Craggy Cliffs in the north of the island
• Under an umbrella in the sand of a secluded beach to the north
• Under a pylon from the power lines that run from Steamy Stacks to Retail Row
• Hanging on the shore of a river bend southeast of Frenzy Farm
• Watching TV inside a white house in Holly Hedges
• Playing Hide and Seek under a tree with a nearby Teddy Bear east of Holly Hedges
• Hanging out in Weeping Woods
• Standing next to a waterfall, reachable by dropping from the top or plunger-gun
• Relaxing near Misty Meadows
• Freezing head-first in the snow next to an abandoned camp

Each lawn gnome is worth 10??,000 XP, with a bonus of 20,000 XP for collecting all ten. That should help you rocket through the expedited Battle Pass for this season. Re??member to work fast because everything goes away at the end of the month!

You'd have to have bats in your belfry to not enjoy a spooky good time in Azeroth! Whether you're cruising for? candy or bob?bing for new mounts, we've got a guide to help you out. This event takes place from October 25 to November 8.

What's new for Hallow's End in 2024?

There are new candy buckets to go Trick-or-Treating in this ye??ar. They're all scattered around the new Khaz Algar zones, and you can check out ou??r maps below.

A new transmog set is available, and it's especially useful for people who want to save a few ??hundred of their Trading Post Tenders. It's the Patched Harvest Golem outfit, a recolor of the Trading Post's Ragged Harvest Golem. If you wanna look like a scarecrow monster, but you aren't picky on the color, this is a great way to get the costume.

The pieces of the cosmetic set drop from either the Headless Horseman dungeon boss, or from the Candy Buckets scattered over the world. The accompanying back piece?? and claw weapon are available from the event vendors in Stormwind an??d Undercity. Those same vendors also have a new set of shoulders and a cloak head piece.

The Headless Horseman

Players can queue up for a short one-boss dungeon every day using Dungeon Finder. (Cntrl+i by default.) You sign up, run in, and fight the Headless Horseman. There's also a series of wickermen at the start of the dungeon that you can use to i??ncrease it's difficu??lty for yourself. Doing so gives your Loot-Filled Pumpkin better chances at containing the Headless Horseman's Mount. You can also acquire different transmogs, trinkets, and other goodies inside so make sure to queue up every day!

The Lootfilled Pumpkin can also drop the unique dragonriding appearance Windborne Velocidrake: Hallow's End Armor. There's also the adorable ?pet Arfus, Arthas' ghost dog. You may also walk away with one of the Horseman's items, including? a sword and a helmet.

Attack of the Horseman's Shade

A few cities around Azeroth are plagued with visits from the Shade of The Headless Horseman. He'll start setting fire to nearby structures, and players have to work together to put it out. There's a quest from a nearby Orphan Matron that will teach you ??how to put out the fires so you can prepare for the real thing.

The Shade is only around for? a limited time, and the fires will continue to spread if you don't work together to put them out. If you all manage to put them out in time, The Shade will come down and engage in a fight. Defeating him leaves a quest item that you can turn in every day.

The cities attacked are:

• Alliance: Goldshire, Kharanos, and Azure Watch
• Horde: Brill, Razor Hill, and Falconwing Square

The Wickerman's EXP Buff

Find your faction's? Wickerman statue for a sweet experience buff. For Horde it's in Lordaeron (the fortress above Undercity), and for The Alliance it's outside Stormwind's front gate. Interact with the ash ??outside to throw it on the statue, and you'll get a 10% experience and rep buff that lasts for two hours.

If you don't see the ashes, you may need a player to rekindle the Wickerman, which is can be done by talking to nearby NPC's wh??o give the daily quest "A Time to Build."

Tricky Treats and Rewards

You collect Tricky Treats by visiting inns across Azeroth and grabbing from their Trick or Treat buckets. You also get them by completing event quests and doing the Headless Horseman boss fight. These can be spent on items from vendors around the Wickermen above Undercity and outside Stormwind. Here's a list of what yo??u can purchase:

Seven years after its debut, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will be going offline. November 28 is the final day, but you??r camp isn't gone for good. On December 3, a new version of the game called Pocket Camp Complete will be arriving, and all of your content will transfer over.

It's not really a "new" game, but it will have a few different structures to it. Pocket Camp Complete is going to be a paid game, removing all in-game transactions. It will cost $20, though it will have a??n introductory ??price of $10 until January 31 of next year.

What is Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp?

If you're unfamiliar, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a game where you become the owner of a cute little campsite, and invite your favorite animal pals to hang out. You do random tasks by visiting different parts of the park, in a very 'quick bite' version of typical Animal Crossing activities. Y?ou can decorate your camp with furniture, and your perso??nal camper.

As someone who's enjoyed Pocket Camp on and off for 7 years, I'm glad that the end of this servi?ce doesn't mean everything is just evaporating. I've put a lot of time, and more than a little money into this thing. It's good to see live service games reaching end of life and converting into a more "normal" game at the end. I'm sure more than a few people would like to still be able to play Dragalia Lost, even if no new content was being poured in.

Here's what transfers to the new app

Existing players can transfer their data to Pocket Camp Complete. You'll need to make sure you have a Nintendo Account and sign into the current Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp app before the game goes offline on November 28. When you launch Pocket Camp Complete, it'll ask you to transfer your save file by signing into the same Nintendo Accou??nt. Here's what will transfer over:

• Character Level
• Bells
• Friendship Levels with other campers
• Furniture collection
• Crafting materials
• Saved layouts for your camp, cabin, and camper

While it will probably be welcome news that Leaf Ticket premium currency and the Pocket Camp Club subscriptions will no longer be available, the lack of friend interaction might sting. The game will no longer require a constant network connection, but that means you also can't send gifts to friends, visit their camp, or shop in their market. However, a new feature means you won't be separated from?? your friends entirely.

There are new features, too

The new friend feature is called Camper Cards. They're cards that you collect featuring your friends with their favorite camper. You can export it as a QR code that other players can scan to add you to their collection. Friends you've traded cards with will meet at the new location called Whistle Pass. Sometimes they'll bring you items, like fortune cookies and stickers. You and your friends can also hang out at 7pm every day to enjoy a KK Slider performance. All your current Friends List friends who sign in between now and the game's end? will automatically receive each other's Friend Cards.

Leaf Tokens will also be replacing Leaf Tickets, and are obtainable in-game via bell exchange or in-ga?me events. They do the same thing as tickets, like speeding up your crafting ??time and helping you make furniture you don't otherwise have the materials for.

Pocket Camp Club subscriptions won't continue. Instead, all players will obtain most of the benefits that were previously featured. You'll be able to walk with your favorite animals, save layouts for your camp, and decorate your plann??er?? with stickers. However, features like the free monthly cookies will no longer be available.

There's also a Complete Item Catalogue that features all the furniture in the game. Anything you missed can be purchased wit??h Complete Tickets, another earnable item. These should help players fill out missing pieces of sets, regardless of season.

One really interesting thing to note is that there is still new content planned for the first full year of Pocket Camp Complete. The next year will round the game out to 8 years of content, which they will then compress into a rot?ating 4 years of events. Anything you've missed previously will become p??art of a regular, albeit long, rotating schedule.

It's been 20 years since the servers for World of Warcraft went live, caught fire, rebooted, and eventually started working. Now's our chanc?e to revisit the last 20 years on Azeroth. There's plenty to do to collect fancy armor redesigns from the olden days, new toys, mounts, and plenty of pets.

T??????????????????????????he celebration takes place in Tanaris at the entrance to the Caverns of Tim?e. You can use the portal in your faction's capital to get there quickly. You'll find many fun activities, quests, and vendors all over, so check it out!

What can you do during the 20th Anniversary Celebration in WoW?

Celebrating the history of World of Warcraft is no ea?sy task. What do?? you focus on for 20 years of content? The answer is a little bit of everything! What's great about this event is that it isn't just quests and raids; there are player interaction events, too.

A series of event?s are on regular rotation, including "Story Time," "Fashion Frenzy," "and Mount Mania." Players can participate in all of them and earn some achievements towards a special mount. Participating in these?? events is also part of the weekly quest to earn Bronze Celebration Tokens, but more on that later.

"Story Time" has players hanging out while Lorewalker Cho tells a story from Warcraft's history. Players can participate with prompts to do things like cheer and throw rotten apples. "Fashion Frenzy" is like the "Trial of Style," except any number of players can participate. Players get ribbons and run around handing them to the most fashionable people around them. "Mount Mania" asks players to gr??oup? up and try to summon the same mounts as the host. Odds are you won't have all 15, but with a little luck you'll win the competition! These are very low stakes but extremely fun to play in.

Besides that, players can go hunt down world bosses across Tanaris and other z??ones. You can also queue for the new Cl??assic Timewalking dungeons. There's also a redone Blackrock Depths raid and a return to previous events like Korrak's Revenge for PVP. There's a lot to do and a lot to earn.

What can you get with Bronze Celebration Tokens?

The biggest reward here is going to be the Eternal Tier 2 sets. Redesigns of iconic sets from the earliest days of WoW are available to collect for all classes. Classes that didn't exist back then have some unique-looking sets. Beyond that, there are some new toys and battle pets, as well as Blizzar?d Service transmogs. These are in-game item appearances based on the look of the real-life items given to Bl?izzard employees after many years of service.

How do you get Bronze Celebration Tokens?

There are several ways to get Bronze Celebration Tokens, ?and most are repeatable. The introductory quests "Meet and Greet" and "Shopping Squee!" are one-time per Warband and give you 10 Tokens each. Truth of the Dark Irons! will give you 5 Bronze.

Completing the weekly quest "Celebrate Good Fun!" gives you 3 Bronze.? Weekly events in Khaz Algar grant 1 Bronze each. This means the weekly stuff you've likely already been doing to help gear up. Weekly Quests in Khaz Algar, like the "Call of the Delves" and "Archive: Seeking History," grant 2 Bronze each. To earn 3 Bronze, you'll want to complete the 20th Anniversary-specific weekly quests. These include "The Originals," "Soldier of Time," "Chromie's Codex," "An Original Path through time," and the like. You'll find these quests in the celebratio??n outside the Caverns of Time.

There are repeatable activities as well. Defeating bosses in the Blackrock Depths raid, beating the Anniversary World Bosses, running Classic Timewalking dungeons, the Codex of Chromie scenario, and daily Korr??ak's Revenge quests all give extra tokens.

Timewarped Badges Rewards

You may have a lot of these stored up already if you're a big fan of doing the Timewalking dungeons. You'll need quite a few to purchase everything. Fortunately, these can be acquired by doing the Classic Timewalking dungeon?s and related quests. I recommend going for the Titles, as those are least likely?? to return when Classic Timewalking cycles back into the weekly events in a few months.

What are the Anniversary Event Achievements?

There's a slick new Coldflame Tempest mount to collect. Its design is based on the same Coldflame armaments you can unlock wi?th Bronze Tokens. To get it requires you to complete the meta-achievement? "A Cool Twenty Years." That requires the following achievements:

• I Have That One! - Match One Mount during "Mount Mania."
• Pet Mischief - Use a pet disguiser to look like your pet and explore the area.
• Peanut Gallery - React to Lorewalker Cho's stories (using the special command button prompts). You'll need to do this 50 times.
• A Gatecrasher - Defeat at least one of the World Bosses during the WoW Anniversary in Tanaris.
• Fashion Critic - Cast 1 vote at the "Fashion Frenzy."
• Balloonist - Ride one of the celebration balloons. Find the balloon vendor and click on a floating balloon to ride it. Give it a few seconds before you get the achievement.
• An Original - Defeat one of the WoW Anniversary world bosses. This list is Azuregos, Lethon, Taerar, Lord Kazzak, Emeriss, and Ysondre.
• Codex Editor: Ahn'Qiraj - Complete "The Codex of Chromie" scenario.

The Token Collector achievement requires you to collect 100 Bronze?? Celebration Tokens during the event. It will become a Feat of Strength achievement afterward. Other achievements for this event include:

• A Dark Iron Past - Find the Temporal Missives from Moira within the Blackrock Depths Raid (Timewalking).
• You're in Your Blackrock Depths - Defeat the bosses in the Blackrock Depths Raid (Timewalking).
• A Gatecrasher - Defeat one of the World Bosses in Tanaris.
• The Gatecrashers - Defeat all three of the World Bosses in Tanaris.
• An Original - Defeat one of the original WoW Anniversary world bosses.
• The Originals - Defeat all 6 of the original WoW Anniversary world bosses.
• A Timewalking Journey Back to a Classic Dungeon Time - Complete 6 of the Classic Timewalking Dungeons.
• A Timewalking Step Back to a Classic Dungeon Time - Complete one of the Classic Timewalking Dungeons.
• Upgraded Apparel - Purchase an Eternal Tier 2 set. This reduces the price of your next set from 60 tokens to 40.
• Classy Dresser - Purchase a second Eternal Tier 2 set. This reduces the price of the rest of the sets from 40 to 20.
• Avid Learner - Listen to all three of Lorewalker Cho's stories.
• Frequent Flyer - Ride all four colors of balloons.
• Big Fan - Cast 20 votes in "Fashion Frenzy."
• Mount Master - Match 20 different mounts in "Mount Mania."
• Zoomies! - Get the zoomies for 20 seconds while disguised as your pet. This requires a Pet Mirror, available from a chest near the pet trainers. Then go to the area by the mount and Cho events, and you'll see little treats lying on the ground. Follow them in a path for 20 seconds.
• Photo Op - Take 10 photos using the vista points, accessible by taking the Vista Portals near the "Fashion Frenzy" stage.

What else is in WoW's 20th Anniversary Patch?

The celebration event isn't the only thing that changed with patc??h ??11.0.5. There's a lot of refreshes to old events, big class changes, and more. Check out the list below for a quick rundown.

• Timewalking Changes - 6 dungeons from base WoW have been added to a new Classic Timewalking, which joins the rotation with the expansion weekly events. You can also start these at level 10, rather than 30. The rewards that each vendor offers during the respective expansion's Timewalking have also been refreshed. That means more mounts to collect!
• Dracthyr's Get Some Class - Previously tied to the exclusive Evoker class, Dracthyr can now become Hunters, Priests, Rogues, Warlocks, Mages, and Warriors. They also get some changes to their Racial abilities due to this class update.
• Ascend in Style with New Shaman Forms - Shamans can turn into different Ascendant Elementals based on their spec, and the model is finally getting a much-needed update. Glyphs can be applied to give the new Energetic forms.
• Transmog Collections - Appearance collectors will be happy to know that more work is going into making it easier to collect appearances on any character. This includes class-restricted gear, like the original Tier 2 sets.
• Working from the Warband Bank - Reagents for profession crafting stored in the Warband Bank can now be used for Crafting Orders. This is a welcome change, indeed!

Every group needs a tank to lead the charge and catch the enemy's attention. But not all tanks are created equally. If you're looking to take point in your group, we'll help you pick the ??best one for the situation.

Overall, it's pretty good news across the board. While there are stronger choices depending on the type of content you're running, nobody is doing poorly. Tank balance is pretty healthy right now, so don't be afraid to pick the class that appeals to you the most. That said, if you really want to be at the top of the top, we'll still set you on t??he right path.

Tank tier list for the Nerub-ar Raid

A Tier - Blood ?D??eath Knight, Brewmaster Monk, Guardian Druid

B Tier - Protection Warrior, Vengeance Demon Hunter

C Tier - Protection Paladin

Blood Death Knight seems especially useful, with high damage output and survivability. They're not short on utility, either. They're probably your best pick in general, but they're not doing SO well that they need their own tier??. Guardian Druid and Brewmaster Monk are doing great at keeping up.

Vengeance Demon Hunter and Protection Warrior are good picks as well. They're only lacking a bit of utility in raids compared to the A tier classes. Even Protection Paladin isn't a bad choice, despite being C Tier. But they are the hardest class to keep up and offer less utility. Still, it should be stressed that nobody is bad this expansion.

Tank tier list for Mythic+ content

A Tier - Guardian Druid, Protection Warrior

B Tier - Blood Death Knight, Vengeance Demon Hunter

C Tier - Brewmaster Monk, Protection Paladin

Guardian Druid is again a top tier, making it a great choice for either content. The party buff Mark of the Wild is just the most useful thing offered by tanks for dungeons. There's also an ease-of-use aspect with Guardian Druid. That will make them very appealing to people experimenting with tanking for the first time. Protection Warriors are extremely durab?le. They do, however, require a good healer to make up for a lack of self-sustain.

Blood Death Knight? and Vengeance Demon Hunter are both great picks. Blood Death Knight's self-healing can make it a great choice for helping out new healers in your party. Their mechanic utility is decent, but they lack any group-wide buffs and don't shine with damage. Vengeance Demon Hunters are great survivors all around.

Protection Paladins are again lacking in survivability. That's an unfortunate downside for a tank. They've got great tools for utility and damage, but that doesn't matter when you're face-down on the floor. Brewmaster Monks work well, but can be cumbersome to play for a lot of newer players. However, like with the raid, none of these specs are bad by any means. They just hav?e some larger weaknesses than others.

There are a few hidden quests this season in Fortnite. They require you to explore the map and find special NPC's who will give you secret objectives. Completing them isn't necessary for anything in par??ticular, but they do contain some fun ??lore. Also, you'll get a free level-up for completing them!

Peely's astonishing alter-ego, Peelverine, has one such quest for you. This guide will help you locate and complete the Found Story Qu?est.

Where is Peelverine?

Fortunately, he's not as well hidden as Gwenpool and the Tony Stark fans were. Peelverine can be found skating on banana peels just east of Restored Reels. When you?'re in the area, look for the speech bubble icon on your mini-map to h??one in on this slippery bub.

Talking to him shows a quest icon in his menu. Select that?? an??d listen to what he has to say.

How to activate Rift Beacons for Peelverine

His quest isn't terribly difficult. You'll need to head east into the hills between Restored Reels and Risky Railways. Up t??here, you'll find a series of Rift Beacons around where the countdown timer for?? the recent Doom event was. Simply walk up to three of them and interact with them. You don't need to turn this back into Peelverine, as the quest will be completed automatically.

Once you've ?completed the quest, you'll be granted another level-up for your battle pass. This is, fortunately, a much shorter and easier?? questline than the others.

Mount collecting is a timeless tradition in World of Warcraft. The War Within has no shortage of cool and rare ones. But Beledar's Spawn is my favorite so fa??r. Because I love it so much, I'll share the secret to finding yo??ur very own Beledar's Spawn mount!

If you don't know why that name is familiar, ?The Beledar is that big crystal sun that hangs in the far background of Hallowfall. Every so often, it has a nasty habit of "going out." When i??t does, all sorts of void unpleasantness happens throughout the zone. This mount is perhaps the most special one, though it can be hard to track down.

Where is Beledar's Spawn in WoW: The War Within?

The creature you get the mount from is also ??named Beledar's Spawn. It basically looks like the mount, except for the hovering disc your character surfs while using it.

The only time you'll find the mount is when The Beledar fli?ps to its dark s?ide. You'll have 30 minutes to search Hallowfall for the spawn. This impromptu nightfall happens about every 3 hours, so you'll have to act fast! It's not hard to miss standing around as you fly by. Here's a map of all its known possible locations:

Once you find the spawn, all you have to do is take it down. It's a toughie, so you'll need at least a small group to do so. Out of kindness to others, try to kill it as slowly ?as possible. If you can, just hit ??it once to tag it, and then let everyone else in the zone pile up to tag it as well. Be cool, and let folks in public channels know where it is.

How to farm the monster to get the mount

There's only a chance it'll drop, so you may need to do this multiple times. The best way to do this is with the Group Finder. By def?ault, hitting I on your keyboard should pull up the Finder menu. Select Premade Groups and search for Beledar. If it's dark, you'll likely find a group to join the hunt with. With some server communication, you should be able to find it fast!

If it doesn??'t drop after beating the spawn, you'll have to wait until tomorrow to try again. Alternatively, hop on an alternate character and use their one try per day. If you don't find him in the dark, or he's already been killed before you arrived, you'll have to wait until the next darkness period in three hours.

If you're planning to pull Feixiao in Honkai: Star Rail, you need to understand the best way to build her up to get the most impact. For all your build crafting needs, here's a nifty guide on Feixiao, to help you get your feet on t??he ground.

Strongest Feixiao Build in Honkai: Star Rail

Feixiao is a Wind Hunt character that focuses on delivering easy-to-access follow-up attacks to dish out extremely potent sin??gle-target damage. Unlike most follow-up attackers, Feixiao's are super easy to activate—only requiring a teammate to attack an enem?y target, and that's it. This means that Feixiao attacks very often without any sort of follow-up restrictions, making her highly versatile. Feixiao's versatility translates into her being able to be inserted into practically any team composition and find some level of success.

Feixiao does not require too much high-level planning to get rolling because most of her kit is straightforward and her team restrictions are low. However, one of her unique aspects you need to be aware of is how her Ultimate ability works. Like Acheron, Feixiao's Ultimate does not work off an energy threshold. Instead, she requires stacks of her Talent, Thunderhunt, to build up to a minimum of six. This is done simply by having her teammates attack enemies. Every two launched attacks count toward this ??counter, which is important to consider later for ??team composition.

At six stacks, Feixiao can activate her Ultimate at will to dish out some solid damage that ignores Elemental Weakness while active. Her Talent caps out at twelve, however, which greatly improves her Ultimate's damage if you wait to use it. Still, being able to activate it early provides you with a new tactical option, which can make or break ?an encounter. Beyond this, she is a tried and true Main DPS that wants ATK% and CRIT stats to dish out her damage.

Best Relics for Feixiao

A substantial portion of Feixiao's damage comes from her launching her unconditional follow-up attacks often, so you want to use Relics that focus on improving them. With this in mind, her best Relic set is The Wind-Soaring Valorous, as it provides Feixiao? with a nice boost to ATK% and CRIT Rate. Most important though is the 36% damage increase to her ??Ultimate, something she should be using often.

A strong alternative set you can use is The Ashblazing Grand Duke as it greatly boosts the? power of her follow-up attacks, the other thing she should be doing quite often.

For Feixiao's Sphere and Rope set, you want to use Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves, as it directly synergizes with her core gameplay loop of having her allies use follow-up attacks to build stacks ?for her Talent. The set gives a stacking dmg boost (5%) to Feixiao's follow-ups every time a teammate launches a follow-up attack, up to five times. At five stacks, Feixiao additionally gains 25% CRIT DMG. Quite strong.

Best Team Comp for Feixiao

While Feixiao doesn't require any specific characters to function well, as a follow-up attacker, she gains considerable power from teams that focus on empowering them at all times. With this in mind, Topaz and Robin are her best teammates. March 7th (Hunt) is also a strong alternative supporter f??or Feixiao.

Topaz is the premium follow-up attack buffer and she is especially potent with Feixiao thanks to her ability to buff follow-up attacks against single targets. T??opaz synergizes with Feixiao incredibly well due to this, along with her high attack frequency, giving Feixiao a constant source of stacks for her Ultimate.

Robin is a standout follow-up attack buffer, designed specifically to enhance the performa??nce of characters who rely on frequent attacks. Her Ultimate thrives on the team's ability to unleash multiple attacks within its active window, significantly boosting overall damage. When p?aired with characters like Topaz and Feixiao, who constantly trigger each other's follow-up attacks, Robin's Ultimate can deliver devastating blows repeatedly, maximizing the team's offensive potential.

March 7th (Hunt) is a strong alternative to Topaz for pairing with Feixiao, offering a significant speed boost and extra attacks that help Feixiao build stacks mor?e quickly. Similar to Topaz, both characters can trigger each other's follow-up attacks, leading to multiple strikes per turn. Furthermore, when Feixiao becomes March 7th's Shifu, she gains access to Wind and Imaginary elements, allowing her to cover a rarer set of weaknesses and enhance the team's versatility.

Should you get Feixiao's Lightcone in Honkai: Star Rail?

Feixiao's Lightcone, I Venture Forth to Hunt, is undoubtedly her best option, and you should consider pulling for it if you're planning on getting her. It gives her an absurd amount of additional CRIT Rate while allowing her to ignore a considerable amount of her target's defense if she landed follow-up attacks against them. It is a large damag??e increase for her that you sh?ould consider if you're pulling Feixiao.

However, if you're not interested in her Lightcone, she does have one other notable option with Baptism of Pure Thought--Dr. Ratio's signature Lightcone. It gives Feixiao a general damage buff and allows her follow-up attacks to ignore the defense of her enemies (smaller than her signature) every time she uses her Ultimate. This lasts for two turns, but since Feixiao will be triggering her Ultimate and follow-up attacks pretty much all the time, this buff is permanent, making the Lightcone a very strong alternative.

Best Eidolons for Feixiao in Honkai: Star Rail

Like most limited five-star characters, Feixiao is a strong character right out of the gate at E0. She really does not need Eidolons to crush all of the content the game has to offer. However, if you're still interested in getting some of he?r Eidolons, here's an overview of each one for your information.

• Skyward I Quell (E1) - Every time Feixiao launches Boltsunder Blitz or Waraxe Skyward, the damage of her Ultimate is boosted by 10% of the damage. This stacks up to five times. As you may suspect, this is an incredibly powerful Eidolon with a highly unique scaling factor not seen in most others at E1. Worth it if you're investing in Feixiao.
• Moonward I Wish (E2) - With this Eidolon, Feixiao will gain stacks of her follow-up counter significantly faster if her allies also attack with follow-up attacks. Most of Feixiao's damage comes from her Ultimate, so this Eidolon allows her to reach her maximum potential much more quickly than normal. Good Eidolon. Makes her flow much better.
• Starward I Bode (E3) - Provides a hefty boost to her Ultimate damage, which is always nice but not worth investing in unless you're going beyond.
• Stomward I Hear (E4) - Doubles Feixiao's Toughness damage when she is utilizing a follow-up attack. Also, provides her with a large bonus to her Speed, which is always strong on Hunt characters. This Eidolon is quite powerful, but not on the same level as her E1 or E2.
• Heavenward I Leap (E5) - Boosts the potency of Feixiao's Skill and Talent. While the Skill boost is not important, the damage boost to her Talent affects her follow-up attacks, which leads to a nice increase in her overall damage. Still, not worth getting unless you planning to go to her E6.
• Homeward I Near (E6) - This Eidolon is monstrous. Firstly, it turns Feixiao's follow-up DMG into Ultimate DMG, which means her follow-ups now gain full benefits from Ultimate DMG buffs of all types. On top of this, she gains 20% All-type Resistance Penetration, which means she will always deal more damage to all enemy types, at all times. If this wasn't enough, Feixiao's follow-up attacks additionally gain a staggering DMG multiplier increase of 140%, which is stupidly high. Absurd.

While there's no new base playable races or classes in The War Within, there is an unlockable race you can add to your roster. Sure, the Earthen aren't new to World of Warcraft. However, this particular kind we find have been hidden away from the rest of the world for a few millennia. Now they're ready to j??oin the ranks of both the Horde and Alliance, and this guide will show you how.

What are the requirements for unlocking The Earthen Allied Race?

The key requirement for this new group of playable characters involves a heavy investment into The War Within's story. There are four specific elements that needed to get an achievement called "Allied Races: Earthen." Once you have that achie?vement, the new race is yours.

These achievement elements are going to be the main story campaig??n, as well as specific side quests focusing on the lives of the Earthen race.?? These requirements are:

• The War Within's campaign: Each of the four zones have a specific set of Campaign quests to finish, and a fifth set of quests exists at max level. It's a lot of story content to go through. Fortunately, it's very easy to identify exactly what quests you need to streamline the main storyline as fast as possible.
• Mourning Rise: A side quest chain in The Isle of Dorn starts with a quest titled "Before I depart," and ends with "The Weight of Duty." It's a bummer of a storyline, but it gives a lot of emotional depth to who the Earthen truly are.
• Broken Tools: This set of quests takes place in The Ringing Deeps. You'll be working with Machinist Kittrin on the quest "Discarded and Broken." You'll be through with this once you've completed "Reforged Purpose."
• Merrix and Steelvein: This is a series of quests that starts in Dornogal with "How Scandalous." It ends in the Ringing Deeps with "Bad Business," and is a great look at the political side of Earthen culture.

What are The Earthen's abilities?

Though they look like Dwarves, these new friends are more accurately described ??as "Living Constructs." They're made of stone and metal, but have plenty of free thoughts and emotions. A lot of these traits are ??reflected in their racial abilities.

• Azerite Surge: An empowered spell attack that is more powerful the longer you hold it. "Draw upon your inner strength. RElease to invoke the power of Azerite on a cone in front of you, dealing Fire damage." Rank 1 deals Fire damage, Rank 2 Heals allies hit by the effect, and Rank 3 deals additional Fire damage to the highest health enemy hit.
• Hyper Productive: Increases Finesse by 2%. That increases your chance of gathering additional materials when gathering. This a particularly strong race if you want a character who gathers materials for your alts or selling on the auction house. They CAN drink potions and flasks for additional benefits and healing.
• Ingest Minerals: You are always considered "Well Fed," because you cannot eat. This means you are unable to use normal food, and will require Mage Food to heal outside of combat. Bandages may still work.
  This ability allows you to instead consume a cut Khaz Algaar gem and change what your Well Fed benefit grants you. Raw gems will not work.

  • Amber = Stamina
  • Emerald = Haste
  • Onyx = Mastery
  • Ruby = Critical Strike
  • Sapphire = Versatility

• Titan-Wrought Frame: Base armor from equipped items is increased by 10%. This obviously benefits Plate wearers the most. Of course, there's something to be said about being a rogue with the best armor bonus.
• Wide-Eyed Wonder: When you gain experience for exploration, gain an additional 200%. This could help with faster leveling in new zones. It seems that you can still use The Warband Guide to Everywhere All At Once toy to uncover the map, but you still get discovery exp for actively being in each location. Still, it's probably easier to keep track of where you've been without it.

As for classes, the Earthen have access to a fairly standard set at creation. You can choose from Hunter, Mage, Monk, Paladin,? Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, or Warrior. If you're interested in be?ing a Hunter, you'll get a unique starting pet of a Gruffhorn.

What are the Earthen's special features?

The Earthen come wit?h a special starting racial mount, the Slatestone Ramolith. Like all allied race mounts, it's a ground-only mount.

Earthen also have a unique Heritage armor upon reaching Level 50. Only Earthen can wear it, and there's three color tints to choose from. Note: the old restriction that prevented you earning Allied Race Heritage Armor by race/faction changing a character has been removed. If you don't want to le?vel a new character, race changing to Earthen will get you the new heritage armor.

Fortnite has a grip on gamers, and Epic Games has laid plenty of groundwork to get to that point. With the ?new changes to item availability on the game’s battle pass, it makes it clear that longevity is a part of the plan there. All of this does beg the question: how many more years does this game have?

How do live-services stay alive?

From now on in Fortnite, items that show up in the battle pass might be added to the in-game shop at least 18 months after its respective battle pass expires. This takes care of two things at once by sating fans who are annoyed about potentially missing out, while incentivizing early purchases. 18 months is a long time to wait, and each new battle pass means stacking on another one and a half years to the assumption that the game will survive. Considering the rampant layoffs affecting the gaming world, even hitting the Epic Games team, this might seem insane. There is no clear answer to how long Fortnite intends to stay alive for, but we can intuit a general idea based on all the components that make up the experience.

There are few games that have genuinely stood the test of time in such a way. As the years go by, however, it seems more like that’s the space this game wants to be in. As of 2024, World of Warcraft is still immensely popular, hitting active user numbers of seven million as it nears its 20th year online. Games like Maplestory and Final Fantasy 14 have shown similar ambitions for longe?v??ity, and what all of these games have in common is that they’re MMOs.

Being an MMO may not be the only way to keep players coming back, but for the live-service model, these trends show that it might be the best. How does that factor into Fortnite? (yes, we’re still talking about Fortnite). Part of it has to do with its consistently high player count and emphasis on interaction. Fortnite isn’t exactly an MMO, but it’s getting there. 

Constant reinvention

The game’s been making lots of changes. Fortnite is no stranger to reinvention. The type of game that was shown off in 2017 is largely different from what its userbase enjoys now. Fortnite: Save the World highlighted PvE co-op action. The game’s building mechanics stemmed from those survival elements. Now, building is used almost entirely in a strategic and competitive context as Fortnite has transformed. The focus that most players have is on the battle royale elements, which it’s best known for. Epic Games has thrown in a particularly addictive gaming loop with the feeling of risk and reward that keeps players coming back for more, which is great, but even games known for longevity and fun loops have ended. Overwatch and Counter Strike are shining examples here. 

Part of what sets Fortnite apart is the way that its battle pass functions. Along with the recent changes, its basic format that offers free players ways to accessorize and tweak their experience provides a level of investment. If you played last season, you may have come across some neat summer back bling or weapon wraps. Wanting to see those in action and searching for new stuff adds to all of this. It can all get stale though, so what comes after that?

How to keep the hype going

What is there to do? Can things be changed without fundamentally uprooting the experience and alienating its dedicated fans? Ideally, the live service game provides constant ways to keep things fresh. This has been Fortnite’s domain, and luckily, it won’t have to worry about getting old for some time. Fortnite Rocket Racing, LEGO Fortnite (which largely borrows from its Save the World fundamentals), and Fortnite Festival are all new ways to enjoy what Epic Games has to offer. Disney has shown interest, building an experience within the game that players have yet to see. It feels like all of this is happening because Fortnite is no longer just a game, it’s a platform. 

Fortnite is consistently offering new ways to play while refining what its players love. Keeping it fresh seems to be what’s best here. Games like Apex Legends appear stifled, especially considering the fact that there aren’t many ways to play it. The fundamentals are all the same, and that’s not to imply that one game is better than the other, but Fortnite does offer variety in a way that its con?temporar??ies don’t have figured out fully. 

So how many years does Fortnite really have?

You can’t get tired of the game as fast if there’s meaningfully different games to play inside of it. That’s why there’s always so much to do in Roblox and Minecraft, which have lasted 18 and 13 years respectively. Seven-year-old Fortnite intends to become a pillar in the same way as those giants if gamers don’t already consider it one. If you were sick of Fortnite, it may be time to accept that it’s not ?going anywhere, because from the looks of it, Epic Games is just g??etting started.

The War Within is quickly approaching it's August 26 release date. (August 23 if you pre-order the Epic Edition of the game.) If you want to be in the best possible shape for the release, there's a few things you should look into doing before then. Check out this list of ten things ?and get ready for your journey to Khaz Algar.

10. Free T-shirt Day

When you get to Khaz Algar, it might not be a bad idea to look a little more diplomatic and casual. Showing up in a fu?ll suit of armor might give the wrong message to potential new allies, you know? There's no better way to get the best in casual gear than on August 16. It's Free T-Shirt Day! Look for NPCs walking through your capital cities and shooting free shirts out of a canon for anyone to pick up.

9. Check out Warbands

There's a lot of new stuff with the major expansion pre-patch already in game. One of the most notable features is the addition of Warbands. You can read about them in our guide, here. But one of the best things to focus on is setting up your Warband bank. It's like a guild bank for your personal account. You can use it to organize everything between your characters much easier. This will let you more easily share items between your characters, as well as store items like reagents, rather than mailing them. You can also transfer certain currencies between characters to help make any last minute Dragonflight purchases!

8. Get your professions maxed out

It's not too late to max out your professions, though it will take a lot of dedication if you've not already made it. A lot of professions can still make really good money on the Auction House before the new expansion. Crafting is extremely viable right now as a source of gold. And if you've been away since before Dragonflight, this could be a good time to get caught up on how the new profession systems work. That way, you'll be ready to jump right in to Khaz Algar's unique pr??ofessions.

7. Complete your Traveler's Log

If you've been away from WoW for a while, you might not know about the Traveler's Log. You'll find a new Trader's shop in each major city. They se??ll very exclusive merchandise that rotates out every month. The only way to buy this unique collection is with a currency called Trader's Tenders. You'll get an immediate set of 500 every month for visiting the Traders. The other 500 you can earn in a month is done through the Traveler's Log.

When you open up the Adventur?e Journal (Ctrl+J by default), you should see a Traveler's Log tab. On there will be a list of activities you can perform to earn points. Those points reward tender, which you can track at the top. There's also a unique reward for finishing the month's log. Right now, the pre-patch event is a great way to earn most of your tender, but any kind of activity works.

6. Catch up on all the stories

You'll get a real good summary of events since Legion when you log into WoW after the pre-patch. But there's a lot more that's happened than what they could cover there. Find out where you are on story quests in your quest log and try to blaze through what's left. Or, if time is an issue, you can find a good recap on YouTube. A lot of people enjoy Nobbel87, but my personal recommendation would be videos by PlatinumWoW. You might be caught up, but there's still new stuff to get you ready for The War Within. Blizzard released a short animation to help fill out some of the backstory to the upcoming expansion.

5. The stuff Emerald Dreams are made of

The last major content patch for Dragonflight was the Emerald Dream storyline.. The new zone features a new questi?ng hub with a lot to do. The Dreamwardens are a new reputation you can earn to unlock fun mounts, pets, and decently leveled gear. There's also the latest raid, Amirdrasil, if you want to see the capstone ??to the main story. It's one of the most packed quest hubs in the expansion, making it a worthwhile place to spend time.

4. Transmogrification Station

Some people collect weapons and armor for the stats, and some for the looks. If you're like me, then it's never been a better time to go fishing for new appearances in old content. The Warband system enables you to collect the appearance of any armor or weapon type on any?? character. Even if your priest finds a plate helmet, it'll be added to your collection when you sell or disenchant it. So, go find some old raids and start boosting your collections now! You'll want to make a stylish first impression with the locals when we arrive at Khaz Algar later this month.

3. New Characters

Maybe you're just tired of the same old h??unter and his same old traps. Have you always wanted to try a Warlock? Or perhaps it's finally time to finish leveling that 28 druid you always meant to finish. Well, it's one of the best times to level a new character. You've got two major options. One, create a character in Mists of Pandaria Remix (more info on that below) and start going. It's a breeze to make a new character and get them to cap. You won't be able to use them in the main game until the event ends on August 19, but they'll be ready to go come launch.

Alternatively, the Radiant Echoes Pre-Pat??ch Event is a great way to level any character. I recommend that you join a group with higher level people to ?help with survivability. The experience gain is insane, and well worth the time. Especially if you have another buff, like the current Darkmoon Faire "Weee!" buff. It grants an additional 10% buff to experience gain.

2. Mists of Pandaria Remix

One of the coolest things added to WoW over the past few years is the recent Mists of Pandaria: Remix mode. An alternative to leveling, you ??create a new character who goes into Pandaria. But this isn't just a normal Timewalking leveling experience. This character will earn exclusive gear, items, and currency to power their way through a streamlined version of the content. It's fast, crazy, and fun as hell.

1. The Radiant Echoes Pre-Patch Event

Right now, leading up to the game's launch, there's a massive in-world event. It can help you catch up in power and earn exclusive rewards. We have a whole guide about it here. But if you're looking to get ready for The War Within, this is the best ??way. You'll get gear to raise your item level, which will allow you to do any raids or other current content.

Whether you're looking to power-level a new character, or empower a current one, there's nothing more worth doing. Help solve the mystery of Azeroth's memories and start earning loot. It's time to prepare for The War Within.

We knew Fall Guys content was heading to Fortnite's creative mode, but now a unique obstacle course looms over the island in Battle Royale, as the bumbling bean obstacle stages just dro??pped today. The crossover is ready to reward eager players with loot for their swift Bean parkouring skills.

Players will need to find Golden Bean statues on the island in order to get started. You'll then be whisked away from the murder and mayhem of Battle Royale for a brief run through the obstacle course. Conquer the courses as fast as possible to get better loot to take back to the island! Of course, once The Storm moves in, the course becomes off limits. Completing quests while running the obstacle course can also earn you a unique Fall Guys back bling and music track.

Looking the part - Fortnite characters get Bean makeovers

The cute thing about this is that your skin will be "Bean'd" when you visit the obstacle course. A large number of the Fortnite original characters have been given Bean forms to take into both this fun crossover, and the full Fall Guys islands you can visit elsewhere in Fortnite. These operate simila??rly to the Lego versions of ??characters, with the results being extremely mixed.

Epic has also added a bunch of Fall Guys Islands that play more like traditional modes of Fall Guys. The team at Mediatonic Labs helped make these, similar to how Psionix helped make the Rocket Racing levels.

So, what's next for Fall Guys?

As for the future of Fall Guys at large, it's been an incredibly rough time for the team at Mediatonic. Publisher Epic Games laid off hundreds of employees in 2023, and while an Epic statement to Kotaku clarified t??h??e entire team at Mediatonic wasn't laid off, it's clear the studio was still hit hard.

Given the nature of both games are so compatible here, one would hope Epic values the team over at Mediatonic, and has more plans for the Fall Guys folks going forward.

Fortnite recently added Fall Guys content into its Battle Royale mode. An obstacle course looms over the snowy northeast corner of the map, ?ready to be tackled. Completing several quests on this course will grant you some unique rewards, so grab them before the event ends on August 15.

How to get started

When you dive out of ??the Battle Bus, you might be tempted to just glide over to the obstacl??e course. That won't work, however! You'll be rifted away immediately. To access the obstacle course, you'll need to find one of several Golden Bean statues around Classy Courts.

Only 8 people can be on the course at once. You can see how many are active by looking at the numbers hovering over the statues. Once there's room, interact with the statue and you'll be ?teleported to the course.

Each quest and how to complete them

Fortunately, these quests aren't terribly difficult, though they? might sound vague at first. There's some goals for completing them, granting unique rewards for this event. Remember, when you're teleported to the island, you have 90 seconds to? complete the course. The faster you do, the better your rewards.

• Complete 2 "Where we Fallin' Quests" - Fall Guys Icon
• Complete 4 "Where we Fallin' Quests" - "Everybody Falls (Chill Mix)"

At last, the pre-patch is in full swing, and the Radiant Echoes event is live in World of Warcraft. It's time for the standard pre-patch limited time event. It's ?a great way to catch up your characters in gear, but also earn some exclusive pets and mounts. This guide will teach you how everything works and how best to approach it.

Start things off with an introductory quest

When you first log in after the patch, you're treated to a "Previously on World of Warcraft" video. It recaps everything that's happened since Sargeras stabbed the planet. You'll then have a quest to go meet up with Thrall, Anduin, and Jaina at the legendary stab wound in Silithus. They'll help you get back into the Heart of Azeroth chamber from Battle for Azeroth, to talk to Magni.

It appears he needs some help communicating with the planet. Help him out by activating some nearby conso??les and then talk to him to activate the next scene. Things won't quite work the way you want, and so you'll have to take a nearby portal to take Magni to Dalaran. Once you're there, you'll talk to Khadgar to get the low-d?own.

Speak to Moira to learn more about her relationship with Magni, and to go gather the rest of the family. They're in the Dalaran Visitor's Center, which is in the southern corner of the central buildings. Speak to Brann and bring the family back to Moira. Once ?you're done, talk to K?hadgar to start the Radiant Echo events.

What is a Radiant Echo event and how does it work?

Radiant Echoes are large encounters that rotate between three places on Azeroth. It goes from Dustwallow Marsh to Dragonblight, and then to Searing Gorge. The rotation currently tak?es 60 minutes. Which zone is currently active will be marked by a timer above the portal in Dalaran.?? The portals have been conveniently placed in the chamber behind Khadgar.

During the 60 minutes a zone is active, the event will shift between two phases. The first phase is one where memories are popping up all over the place and need to be beaten. These are indicated on your map by round, Azerite-colored icons. Simply fly to that location and find out what's going on. A large "Memories Remaining" meter at the top of your screen is slowly being emptied as you complete each memory. Most of them are "solved" by beating up a bunch of enemies, but some have specific requirements. For example, the event in the green dragonflight glade in Northrend requires you to click on Remembered Frogs and type "/kiss" to find a princess. If you've been a long time WoW fan, you'll realize these are? all based on previous fights and quests.

Players will continue to beat these memories and fly to other ones u?ntil the bar at the top of your screen is emp??tied. Below is an example of Searing Gorge during the first phase, showing some of the active locations. Where the player icon is, in The Cauldron, is where the event eventually ends with a boss fight.

After the memories bar is empty, you'll have a central location to gather around. Keep an eye on your map, it'll tell you where you need to be if you can't find the group. Each boss is a familiar blast from the past depending on where you are. Remembered Onyxia is t??he boss of Dustwallow Marsh, Remembered Firelord is in the Searing Gorge, and the Remembered Lich?? King is in Dragonblight. Once they're defeated, you'll receive your rewards! The other memories will start spawning again, and another cycle will begin.

Don't forget to turn in your initial quest to Khadgar. Otherwise, don't forg?et to turn in daily quests for eac??h zone! More on that below.

Daily Quests and their rewards

Several rewards are tied to daily quests. Every day, one of your characters can defeat one of the Remembered bosses to earn a Token of the Remembrancers. It converts into a piece of 493 Item Level gear that can be upgraded to ilvl515 at upgrade vendors in Val?draken.

On? top of that, each of the three zones has a daily quest available for an extra 3,000 Residual Memories. These dailies are one per account, so alternate characters won't be able to claim them.

How can I earn Residual Memories, and what are they for?

Residual Memories is the primary currency for this event. It'll disappear when the pre-patch event ends, so spend it while you can. I recommend you focus on the Lifeless Stone Ring, Mounts, Pets, Bags if you need them, and then worry about the rest of the gear. While collecting the gear for the?? unique transmog is cool, a lot of it will dr??op throughout the event. While there are quartermasters in each event zone, Remembrancer Amuul in Dalaran is the only one who has all the items available. The daily quest giver in each zone is also a vendor, but will only have items related to that specific zone.

Earning?? Radiant Echoes is easy enough. Your best sources are the daily quests mentioned earlier, which give 3,000 from each quest, with 3 available every day. Killing a Remembered Boss earns you 1,400 Residual Memories every time, so it's the best way to grind it out. Otherwise, completin??g the smaller memory events earns you 200, and beating enemies gives you between 1-20, depending on the enemy's rarity.

How to create the Band of Radiant Echoes

One of the best rewards from the event is a new Heirloom Ring, the Band of Radiant Echoes. This haste/mastery ring requires a few items to forget it. First, you must purchase it from Remembrancer Amuul in Dalaran for 25 Residual Memories. This is fairly easy, and should only require beating on any Remembered enemies for?? a few minutes.

Once you have that, you'll need 3 essences. One from Kalimdor, one from the Easter??n Kingdoms, and one from Northrend. Each one of these is obtained by combining 20 memory fragments from each region, all of which drop from objectives durin?g an event. I was able to claim 6 Memories of the Eastern Kingdoms from my first run at the Dustwallow Radiant Echo event, so you should only need a few of these events each.

Fashion might not be everyone's strong suit, but a good look can have all eyes on you in World of Warcraft's Trial of Style, and the fashionista gauntlet returns in August. For those ?eage?r to hop in with a literal target on their back �for the best reasons, of course �the Trading Post update will do just that with its latest rewards.

For completing your Traveler's Log in August, you'll receive The Coward's Violet Target. It puts a very real, very purple bullseye on your back and comes complete with arrows from attempted assassinations. It's a bit silly and lackluster of a reward, considering that we've seen mounts and entire outfits for completing the monthly journal. Worgli The Apprehensive would have been a much stronger choice, but hey, that's how it goes. Don't shoot the messenger, e??ven if he's wearing one of these strange accessories.

The Trading Post is World of Warcraft's Battle Pass, kind of

For those of you who might just be coming back for The War Within, The Trading Post is a monthly activity that's not terribly dissimilar from a Battle Pass, but?? free. It's acces??sible via the Adventure Journal (CTRL+J), and participating earns points. Fill the progress bar by the end of the month, and you'll earn a unique reward along with Traders Tender.

The Trading Post and a treasure chest are in your capital city. You get 500 Trader's Tender immediately each month, and the opportunity to earn another 500 through the Adventure Journal. There's sometimes an extra way to earn more Tender, like pre-ordering the Epic Edition of The War Within. As a new month starts, these items rotate out for a new list. You have the opportunity to freeze one? item you can't ?afford and hold it between months. But if you miss out on something else you wanted, don't stress! Most items return at some point.

WoW's Trading Post adds more than a few 'fits

August adds Stormrider Hammers of various colors. If you pre-ordered the Heroic or Epic version of The War Within, you would have received a?? Stormrider ?outfit. These hammers match the different tints available for this set of armor, so to complete the look, aim for these first.

Mounts from previous months are returning, too, but the K??or'Kron Warsaber and Sentinel War Wolf are a great pick if you have the spare Trader's Tender. Both feature prominent Horde and Alliance faction mounts with armor befitting the other team, which I think is always a fun twist.

As for activities in August, you shouldn't be hurting for things to do. The start of the month sees the return of The Trial of Style, a fun event where players compete to show off themed outfits for groups of five. Participating in these will certainly earn a small chunk of points, and if by the time The War Within launches on August 26, you haven't earned your ful??l month of rewards, don't worry! Questing through a new expansion will be more than enough to catch you up?.

There's a new expansion in a month, and a new ?major patch just released to prepare for it. Whether you're returning to Azeroth for the first time in a while, or are a regular player who wants a refresher on all?? the latest happenings, this guide's for you.

How does Skyriding Work?

When Dragonflight launched, one of its biggest features was?? known as Dragonriding. ??It was a new, dynamic form of flight than previous forms of mount flying. However, it was restricted to specific Dragonriding mounts that were introduced throughout the expansion. Now, it's been renamed as Skyriding, and is available for (almost!) all of your flying mounts.

However, if you need the old "steady" style of flying for any reason, you can change it by going into your Mount screen and clicking on Skyriding at the top. It'll give you a drop down to change it, as well as the ability to look at your unlocked skills. Make ??sure you go in there to select optional talents when you can.

How do Warbands work?

Warbands might be one of the most heavily appreciated updates to character progression since the implementation of collections. This feature allows you to share unlocks, renown, achievements, collections, and even a special bank between all of your characters, acros??s your entire Battle.net account. The only limitation to this is if you have accounts in multiple regions (like US and EU).

When you log into WoW for the first time, it might take a few minutes as the? system compiles all of your character data for the new system. Once that's done, you won't need to log in?to every character; everything will already be done and waiting for you.

As soon as you log in, you'll notice the first change from the Warband. Your list of characters will feature a spot for four favorites at the top, who then all display together at a new campsite screen. It's a great way to ?have all of your characters across all realms, so long as they're part of the same account. Apparently, there's even plans to add more backgrounds later, adding more fun customization options for your character screen.

Warband reputation

Reputatio?ns now belong to your Warband, not just individual characters. Any reputation you gain on one character is added to the whole total now. That also means that rewards will be available to all of them, though keep in mind that some rewards are character specific. For the process of logging in, whichever of your characters has the highest renown will become the total renown for your entire warband. Also, older content reputations might not be immediately converted, but will be over time.

Some smaller reputations will not become warbound, however. The Winterpelt Furbolg, to use a recent example, will still be character-specific. Older specific reputations, like Covenants in Shadowlands, will not be Warband wide either.

Warband achievements and quest rewards

Now that warbands are implemented, all achievements a??re pooled together for one total score. Effectively, all of them are now account wide. Some achievements will remain attached to specific characters, such as "Insane in the Membrane." Other achievements that do not benefit from shared progressions, like "Memories of Teldrassil," will also remain applied on a character-level. These kinds of achievements can be found under the Legacy category.

While quests aren't completed across all characters, there are bonuses depending on how many times you've completed a quest. The first time will grant you reputation to the appropriate faction as a bonus. Any characters that complete that same quest afterwards will receive a currency bonus, similar to Dragon Isles Suppl??ies in the current expansion.

While your currencies aren't all dumped into one ??big Warband bag, they are easily transferrable between your characters. So you can send Dragon Isles supplies to another character so they can pick up whatever item it is you're looking for. This is all done from the currency tab.

Warband gear and collections

Gear will now feature a new type called "Warbound until Equipped" (WuE). Similar to Account Bound items, this gear can be sent to any of your characters in your Warband. This also leads into enhancing your Transmog collecti??on!

Any character can now collect any item appearance, regardless of the ability to equip it personally. Getting a two-handed sword in your transmog runs with a Priest will now grant that appearance to your account, regardless of the fact that Priests can't equip it. Note that the ability to equip an item still affects whether?? your character can use it for transmog.

Because of this, it's also easier to have ?appearances added to your collection, as you no longer need to manually equip the item. Any time an item is destroyed or sold, you will automatically collect the appearance anyway. The only exception to all of this is class-specific gear, which still requires that class to collect it. If you're not sure if you have an item, your appearance tab and sets tab now have a dropdown to select a different class to view what you have.

How do I unlock Warband Banks?

Warband Banks are a convenient new bank that works similar to a guild bank, but is intended for all of your own chara??cters. You will receive up to 5 tabs with 98 slots each for all of your characters to access. Any item that is not soulbound can be added to it, including reagent items and gold.

To unlock this feature, you'll need to complete a storyline called Warbanding Together, starting in Gadgetzan. Once you finish, you'll obtain the Warband Bank Distance Inhibitor spe??ll that allows you to summon a personal portal to your Warband Bank. This is similar in function to th??e Mobile Guild Bank spell.

To start the quest, you'll need to go to Gadgetzan in Kalimdor. Speak to the character Blue and follow a short series of quests. You'll venture south to beat up on some teleportation ghosts and close rifts. Note: Beating up on the teleportation ghosts is to collect a rift essence that might not drop a lot right away. Just keep knocking them d?own, you'll start collecting it eventually.

Once you've turned in those quests, you'll have to venture a little further southwest to ac??ti??vate a device. It'll summon some unfortunate enemies, but they shouldn't be a problem. Turn that in, and your last task is to go to the Gadgetzan Auction house to set up one final device. Once that's done, you'll learn the spell to summon your Warband Bank. You'll also be able to find this on a new tab whenever you visit a banker in game. As a note: right now the Warband Bank is actually disabled due to an issue, but that should be resolved soon.

What is the Radiant Echoes pre-expansion event?

We'll cover this more in a separate guide, as it does not start until Ju??ly 30.

What are some other changes for the pre-patch?

There are a few mo??re things that mi??ght be good to know, but that don't require guides.

• Dragonflight is now the default leveling experience for new characters leveling from 10-70.
• Guilds can now have members from across different realms. A Cross-Realm Guild Bank will be added soon.
• Humans have a new Racial to replace the Rep Gain one. Their hearthstone cooldown is now reduced by 5 minutes and gains an extra charge.
• Several new Map and Quest icons have been updated to help identify what types of quests are being used. Most map icons can now be left-clicked to track.
• Spellbooks have received a much-needed redesign, featuring a search option and sorting.
• Arachnaphobia Mode lets you replace spiders with crabs.
• Camera collision has been severely reduced.
• Classes have each received several adjustments for the new expansion. You can read about specific changes here.

Back in Mists of Pandaria, one of the fun side features was gaining ownership of your own farm in Halfhill. There was a long story about building your friendship with the townsfolk to help improve your farm, daily rewards for improvements, and the general satisfaction of the closest thing to player housing World of Warcraft has ever had. One of the things you could add to your far?mstead was a dog, aptly named just that �Dog.

Dog has shown up a few times since in other expansions, but always as a guest on the side. In The War Within beta, and presumably main game, you'll be able to finally bring Dog home permanently. It's not terribly complicated, but requires a lot of work through previous expansions if you haven't kept up. To that end, here's how to get your faithful companion, Dog, in The War Within, including previous requirements.

Halfhill Farm, and where to meet Dog in Pandaria

First things first, to meet Dog, you'll need to go back to Pandaria. If you haven't already, begin the Halfhill storyline to obtain your farm and begin doing daily work on it. Continue earning reputation with The Tillers, which can also be done with rep drops from high ?ranking mobs like Zandalari Warscouts. Farming those (no pun intended) will be a great way to build up the reputation required.

Once you've hit Revered (2600/21000), you'll find a Lost Dog in the Valley of the Four Winds to complete the quest Lost and Lonely. They'll be located at a cro??ssroads west of Halfhill and south of The Heartland. The quest will require you to collect 20 Tasty T-Bone from Skyrange Mushan in the Valley of the Four Winds. Completing this quest brings Dog to your farm. Congratulations on your new best friend!

Bringing Dog to Your Garrison - Warlords of Draenor

The next step requires you to start the Warlords of Draenor campaign. If you've never been, you'll have to start the entire questline before visiting and run through the opening. You'll then have to spend time building up your garrison, which may take a little while. You'll need to build it up long enough to construct the Herb Garden. Once you've built it, your Dog should move in shortly. Once you see them, you're all set for the Warlords portion of this process.

Legion, Dalaran, and Dog

The last step requires your Dog to visit you in The Broken Isles. Once you've completed the previous two tasks, travel to the Legion v??ersion of Dalara?n. Search the city streets for a Loose Pebble, which can spawn in various places. They're very tiny, so look closely and run your mouse over every suspicious rock. You'll only find them on the red cobblestone of the main streets of Dalazan.

Once you've looted the Pebble, take it back to your Dog in the Garrison on Draenor. Giving him the pebble will cause him to move to Dalaran. You'll find him in the Pet Menagerie, right next to the tower where your Dalaran Hearthstone teleports you.? There, Breanni will take good care of them.

The Dog Within

Without going into spoilers, go to The Tranquil Strand in the Isle of Dorn after you've arrived and done the opening expansion quests. Next, travel far west of the island where you originally landed. Take a look around, and you'll notice loose pet cages and plushi?es. Amidst the rubble, you'll find a dog bowl. If you're having trouble, look for the broken Battle Pet Statue originally found in your Garrison a?nd outside the Magical Menagerie. Interact with the bowl, and Dog will come running! Pet them, and your Dog will become a Faithful Dog.

While Dog can be summoned from your companion pet list, it should be specifically noted that they are NOT a Battle Pet. They have no ability to enter combat and are simply a? vanity pet.

In The War Within, Dragonriding glyphs make a return under a new name: Skyriding Glyphs. In Dragonflight, these were required to gain access to different talents for flying on your dragon mount. However, in The War Within, most flying mo?unts are now able to fly like the dragons were �thus, Dragonr??iding is now Skyriding.

But what does this mean for the glyphs? Currently, the only purpose of Skyriding Glyphs is for achievements. They do not appear to be adding any new abilities in the be??ta, yet. These may be countable as Dragonriding glyphs for new players, but otherwise, skills are account-wide. Still, we have a list of their locations broken down by zone, with maps and descriptions below.

Where to find the Skyriding Glyphs in Isle of Dorn

Most of these are easy enough to find, as the Isle of Dorn?? is not terribly complicated terrain. Keep an eye in chat for orange text to remind you when you're near on?e.

Where to find the Skyriding Glyphs in The Ringing Deeps

The Ringing Deeps has some of the trickier glyphs to find, partially due to its cavernous landscape. There's a lot more places to hide these glyphs, so pay close atten?tion to the locations on the map.

Where to find the Skyriding Glyphs in Hallowfall

Hallowfall is fairly wi??de open, and most of the glyphs are easy enough to spot. S??ome of them are a little tricky, but you shouldn't have any problems with our guide.

Where to find the Skyriding Glyphs in Azj-Kahet

These were easily the trickiest ones to find. Some of them are just way up along the roof of the cavern, and?? others are just really well tucked away. This is also the highest-level zone in the expansion, so some of the lower ones can put you in harms way. Use caution when hunting these down!

Throughout the new lands of Khaz Algar, there are a number of interesting lor??e-heavy tidbits to find. These aren't part of a quest or a cutscene, but they can he?lp flesh out the backstory of this new island we're exploring.

The achievement doesn't offer any particular rewards other than 10 achievement points for your warband. And the satisfaction of knowing more about this world than everyone else! While there are no strict requirements for finding these ite??ms, Azj-Kahet can prove particularly dangerous to lower-level characters. Either go level up or have a good escape plan ready.

The name of ??each item and where it's located can be found below. The maps have red d??ots indicating the specific locations of each item.

Isle of Dorn lore items

The ??starting area for the new expansion is quite expansive, but these items aren't terribly difficult to locate. You should be able to make quick work of these.

The Ringing Deeps lore items

The first underground zone is surprisingly populated w??ith gorgeous and varied landscapes. The items here are a little trickier to find, ??but this guide should help you hunt them down.

Hallowfall lore items

While none of these items in particular are going to explain the big glowing crystal hanging in the ceiling, they're still great bits of lore. Hallowfall is a bit dangerous if you're under level 75??, but you should be fine reaching most of these withou??t a fight anyway.

Azj-Kahet lore items

You'll want to be careful acquiring these items if you're not yet max level. This zone is for level 78-80 characters and can be quite deadly to those still in their early 70's. The Weathered Shadec?aster, in particular, is surrounded by some fierce enemies, so take care!

An adorable, moss covered sheep is waiting for you on the Isle of Dorn in World of Warcraft: The War Within. All you have to do is find a??nd return a lost sheep to its farm, and you'll be left with a little one to call your own.

Currently available as part of The War Within beta access period, there ??are no prerequisite??s to finding her, though I recommend being able to use flying. Otherwise you'll have carefully slide down ledges, and that's always rough.

Lil' Moss Rosy is already my favorite new battle pet. She's part of the Treasures of the Isle ?of Dorn achievement, so it's a double win! She may not b??e the best in a fight, but that's not going to stop the love and admiration from coming her way. Her charm is undeniable.

Where to find Lil' Moss Rosy

In between Dhar Kazhad and Rambleshire in the n??orthern part of the Isle of Dorn, you'll find a large slope. Towards the bottom, a little mossy lamb is lost on a rock all by itself. You'll need to land your flying mount next to it, as it's?? out of jumping distance.

To get the sheep moving, you'll have to click on it and cycle through a pet animation. It'll run off south further towards the farm. Follow the lamb, and continue pokin??g every time it stops. Eventually, it'll re??turn to the farm in Rambleshire. When it does, it leaves behind a Mosswool Flower for you to pick up. Clicking on the item in your inventory will grant you Lil' Moss Rosy.

Lil' Moss Rosy's Battle Pet stats

Lil??' Moss Rosy won't likely ?be a devastating force in the meta for pet battles, unfortunately. But, that doesn't mean she can't be fun to send into random battles when you're collecting other pets. She's a little tank, quite literally; she has the same stats as the Mini-Thor battle pet, although her speed and attack are swapped around.

Zenless Zone Zero is now available on different platforms as miHoYo's latest free-to-play title, and it offers a host of innovative features fo?r play??ers.

The developers have once again ensured the implementation of cross-play, which is also found in previous releases like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail. The combat system in Zenless Zone Zero is very different from Honkai Star Rail, and you might require a bit of time to get used to all the mechanics. Thankfully, there's a highly flexible difficulty system in the game that's available d?uring all missions.

Does Zenless Zone Zero allow you to change difficulty

There are two modes of difficulty available within the game - Casual and Challenge. You come across the two choices right after the tutorial, where you have to complete the first story mission. The game does a good job of giving brief explanations about what each mode offers and how players should select the one be??tter suited? for them.

The Casual mode is similar to an easy or story mode, where combat becomes a? lot simpler. The main focus is to help you get a taste of the story, and it's indeed quite enjoyable. However, the fights take time and effort, as you'll still have to pay attention to your enemies and squad composition.

The Challenge mode is ideally meant for more exper?ienced players. In the Challenge mode, fights are harder to complete. This difficulty setting might feel a bit overwhelming for some at first, as the enemies are harder to kill.

Thankfully, you can change the difficul??ty before beginning any mission. Even if you complete a certain quest in Casual mode, you can opt for Challenge mode to complete the next mission. This allows you to test which is the perfect mode for you.

Is the Zenless Zone Zero Casual mode different from the Challenge mode

If t??he explanation in the section above hasn't made it clear, the two modes are differ??ent. However, the main difference is mainly in terms of the enemies' health. In Challenge mode, the same enemies become a lot harder to kill as their health pool becomes larger.

There's no additional reward if you aim to complete the game at a harder difficulty. In many ways, playing in Challenge mode is more about your self-satisfaction rather than earning more rewards. In terms of the style of combat, I found a lot of similarities with games like Honkai Impact 3rd and Punishing Gray Raven. If you have experience with such games, make sur??e to try Challenge mode.

Thankfully, you can use the same account across multiple devices and continue your grind from one platform to another.

Zenless Zone Zero transfer progress guide

The system of carrying over your in-game progress from one platform to another is quite ?simple. You don't need any extra steps ??like account keys or codes. In this guide, I have referred to my Android tab as the first device and my Windows PC as the second device.

• Download and install the game on your first device.
• Wait for the shaders to load. This can take a long time, depending on the hardware of your device. There have also been a few instances where players have gotten stuck in this process.
• There are numerous login options, including using your Facebook and Gmail accounts. I personally chose the former.
• Make sure to connect this with your miHoYo account (not necessary, but it makes your account extra secure).
• Play the game on device one, complete the session, and make sure to log in properly.
• Now, repeat steps one and two on your second device.
• Use the same account to log in with the one you played on device one.
• Once the login on device two is complete, you're free to resume from where you left off in your previous session.

That's all you have to do to play across multiple devices. This feature is not restricted to just two devices, which makes it wonderful for those with different options to play on. Do note that certain issues currently affect those who are trying to play on PC. Most of the issues are related to the launcher, and miHoYo is expected to push some quick fixes pretty soon.

The Midsummer Fire Festival has begun in World of Warcraft, but the community has already been feeling the heat from the past several holiday events. For Dragonflight, Blizzard has been revamping most of the recurring holiday events to add new quests, gimmicks, and rewards. While those revamps have been generally successful, one major issue has frustrated p?layers each time: th??e drop rates for dragon armor.

Players were granted highly customizable d?ragon mounts ??during their adventures in The Dragon Isles, but most of the options are unlocked from items. These holiday events brought specific holiday-themed armor for a dragon mount to wear, allowing players to flaunt their holiday style.

However, players have been immensely frustrated by how impossible it was to get the armor to drop. With the updated Midsummer Fire Festival from June 21 - July 5, many were dreading going back to t??he grind. Blizzard has, thankfully, heard the feedback on rarity and stepped in with some measures to help improve the expe??rience.

Only your first kill each day counts across all your characters, however. That said, failing to get it one day gives you better chances the next day.

It's great to see that Blizzar??d is listening to the fan frustrations with drop rates and making changes based on them. As someone who spent over 10 years trying to get the Headless Horseman's Reigns, I understand the plight. At some point, though, I do wonder if maybe everyone should jus??t get the reward for beating the boss the first time.

Loot drops are a highly contested topic. Frankly, people on both sides make fairly valid points, so even I don't have a clearcut answer on what the best way to be is. That said, this looks to be a great ??way to minimize complaints while givin??g the most people what they really want.

Some folks would have you believe that adding a focus on vehicles somehow makes this chapter of Fortnite the worst yet. There's a lot of talk that Epic has forgotten what Fortnite is, but that couldn't be further from the truth. It's some fans, I think, that have forgotten what Fortnite is supposed to be. Wrecked has been, by far, the best Fortnite I've p??layed to date.

Not everyone wants cars to be nerfed

Did Ninja quit the game again this season? Well, don't worry! He'll flip a coin to decide if he's back next season or not. Sure, the sweatiest players on Twitch might be complaining about changes. The rest of us seem to understand that this season rules. This is a game about change, and its the job of players to adapt. You'll? see tons of replies like this on posts that don't even have anything to ?do with the vehicles.

How to deal with enemy cars

The fact is, every season of Fortnite has a theme, and that always means big changes. This is a game about having an open toybox ??to play with. That means new toys are coming and going all the time. Fewer cars have killed me so far this season than Water bending in any given play session last season. Cars aren't broken, far from it. There are? several strategies when dealing with them, and if people were more patient, they'd find that out.

The Nitro-powered rocket fists are perhaps the best weapon for dealing with cars. Not only can they knock a car off track, or even flip it in??to the air, but they're great for maneuvering. A lot of people complain about Nitro boosting cars, but they seem to forget that they can also boost themselves. Doing so gives you a hell of a speed and endurance buff to make dodging cars and their weapons an absolute breeze. Combine those two, and you're a car-smashing, air-dashing machine. Can you honestly tell?? me that anything about that sounds "unfun?"

Nevermind that cars have been in Fortnite forever. When I started back in Chapter 3, cars had parts you could equip to them. The only thing missing were the weapons.?? In reality, those vehicle weapons aren't much better than having your teammates gun out the window anyway. But after Chapter 3, vehicles became boring. Even just the week before this chapter, I was talking to my squad about how much we missed throwing off-road wheels and cattle-catchers to cars. We missed the chance for customization and taking ownership of vehicles. It was a ton of fun in Chapter 3, and I'm so, so glad it's back and better in Chapter 5.

If you want some more ideas on how to counter this new car ??meta, allow me to lend a few ideas. Are you running solo? If so, that means other solo people in a car need someone to operate their turrets. My experience?? is that hopping into an enemy car makes for fun bedfellows. Nobody seems to mind me helping take the gun to mow down our mutual enemies on the island.

Cars are the best distraction

I've found that, more often than not, cars are a better distraction than a weapon. One of my squadmates loves hopping out of a vehicle and taking a good vantage point. While I drive around to catch enemy fire, he picks them off from a short distance. In the screenshot?? here, you can see me pulling up in my sweet boss-car that I stole. While the bus's owner was firing a heavy turret at me driving, my squadmate snuck up from?? behind. A couple magnum rounds later, and we have a new bus to add to our collection. (Then our other squadmate accidentally blew it up by hitting it with his car! Chaos!)

Dealing with cars is better with certain guns. The?? Huntress DMR is ideal for sniping drivers. The Magnum is a good tool for busting tires and doing massive damage?? to the vehicle. The rocket-bow is the best weapon for doing a great amount of damage and throwing cars off course. Again, all of that combined with Nitro works great. I would like to, again, recommend having a set of Nitro fists on hand at all times.

Epic Games did announce that they're un-vaulting Boogie Bombs, which should help in the meantime. I'm curious if an unintended side effect will be boogie-bombing people to limit their movement and then hitting them with your car. It sounds like the EMP grenades from previous seasons will also be showing up soon, which will probably do a lot to?? ruin the car meta altogether. It'll be a shame that Epic listens to the sweaty players who can't adapt to change. So many of us are having a great time running into one another at full spee?d, then rocket-punching each other into oblivion.

Blizzard has announced its beta for the next World of Warcraft expansion, The War Within, is just around the corner. While it's still a closed beta, there are ways for eager players to jump in ??when it begins on June 5.

According to Blizzard's latest announcement, invites go out to veteran players, fansites, press, friends, and family soon. Additionally, anyone who pre-orders the Epic edition of The War Within will also have immediate Beta access. It's not the cheapest route, but if you're interested in being a part of the feedback for the full release, this is the best way to ??guarantee it.

If you're lucky enough to be selected, you'll rec??eive an email to your Battle.net account address telling you so. You can then download the beta directly from the Blizzard laun??cher. Remember that Phishing attempts are common around betas, so always check the official sources before clicking on anything in an email.

Transmog and Heirlooms

Any character?? can by any ensemble for any armor type and tier. So you only need one character to unlock everything for all your other characters on the retail server. Of course, you can only wear the things that your class can wear normally. Multiple vendors are in each Infinite Bazaar, and each sells a different set of gear.

On top of that, Pythagorus also sells several heirloom weapons and the Tusks of Mannoroth transmog. These require an additional Bones of Mannoroth currency that drops off of Garrosh? in the Normal or higher Seige of Orgrimar raid.

Shortly after creating a character, you'll craft a Cloak of Infinite Potential to aid you on your Timerunning journey. This cloak will stay with you for the entire duration of the World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria event. As you're leveling, you'll come across Threads that grant you permanent stat bonuses. At any time you can mouse over your Timerunner's Advantage bu?ff to see what yo??ur stat bonuses.

You can collect threads doing various activities around Pandaria. Looting from enemies, opening Cache of Infinite Treasures, opening treasure chests, flying through Bronze Orbs, completing dungeons, and more. Basically anything that gives a reward has a chance to give a thread. What kind of thread depends on your level. The stat that will be buffed is in the name of the ?thread you earn. For example, Thread of Stamina will give you a stamina buff, based on what rank it is.

As you rank up your cloak, you'll get achievements to mark your progress. Each rank of Infinite Po??wer you get grants a bonus to your other characters, making leveling even easier for them. The final rank is at 4200 threads, and it grants you a toy for each of the August Ce??lestial cape effects.
