Forager is one of the several professions available in Brighter Shores, and unlocking it is relatively easy.

In fact, the unlock co??ndition is directly part of the main? quest, and hence, you can't miss it by any chance. If you're strictly sticking with the main quest, this will be the second profession you'll unlock. The process begins after you've enlisted as a guard and cleared the tutorial, so read to know what you exactly need to do.

How to become a Forager in Brighter Shores

Becoming a Forager is easy - just pick a resource from off the ground. When you're starting out, this is tricky. Most of the deci?sions you make are strictly based on the main quest.

  • Clear out the first couple of goblins.
  • Help out the civilian to carry his goods safely.
  • Return to your captain, and you'll find that one of your fellow guards is gravely injured.
  • Go to the Apocethary, and you'll be tasked with finding Brown Kelp.
  • This item will require you to travel all the way to the docks.
  • You'll pass through four different regions, but you can't get lost because all paths that aren't required will be locked.
  • Go to the coast and pick up some of the Kelp lying around. You'll find three ores to pick up and get all of them.
  • Picking the first one will automatically unlock the Forager profession for you in Brighter Shores.

You can also unlock the Fisherman profession along the way. This can be done from the Eel Br?idge location, and you'll have to travel over the spot to complete the quest. If you're still confused as to how to do it, make sure to check this ??guide out.

If you've already unlocked the Fisherman profession, this guide will help you o??ut with the correct location?s where you will be able to find the fish to catch. Once you've unlocked a profession, make sure to complete tasks that will help you level up your profe?ssion and gain Knowledge Points along the way.

Brighter Shores is availabl?e worldwide, and you can enjoy different professions inside the game.

Professions act differently in this title, as you can't pick them during? character creation. In fact, you'll always start as a Guard as part of the tutorial. But the game ensures that you're not forced to grind a single profession aimlessly, and being a fisherman inside the game can be pretty fun. But first, you must unlock it, and doing so will require you to emphasize your investigative skills.

How to become a Fisherman in Brighter Shores

Fisherman is the second profession you get to unlock in Brighter Shores. Naturally, it can be unlocked pretty early, but this profession isn't a part of the mai?n quest. Hence, it's ?pretty easy to miss as you run around the map finding vital resources.

  • Complete the tutorial for the goblin attack to take place.
  • Fend off the initial batch of goblins and help out a civilian to ferry his goods to a cart in the Town Square.
  • Once you return, you'll find that one of your allies has been gravely wounded in the battle.
  • You'll have to head out to find Brown Kelp to save their life.
  • Go north from the Town Square, and you'll come across the Eel Street Bridge. You'll have to cross the bridge, and two goblins will be waiting for you.
  • Once you defeat the goblins, look down below the bridge.
  • A fish will be highlighted in bright blue.
  • Click on it, and you'll unlock the Fisherman profession.

Becoming a Fisherman in Brighter Shores will allow you to fish in suitable spots. However, you can't do that immediately, as you won't have the necessary equipment. To catch fish, you'll need a fishing rod. Make sure to check out our fishing guide if you want to become ?an expert angl??er and catch fish whenever you want.

Over a decade after its laun??ch, Old School RuneScape remains one of the biggest MMOs in the world. Jagex's MMO is great, but sometimes, it's good to take a break and try something new.

We're looking at 8 MMOs to play if you like Old School RuneScape. Each title on this list has something to offer that will remind players of OSRS, while remaining great games in their own right.

8. Lost Ark

MMOs like Old School RuneScape
Image via Smilegate

Much like Old School RuneScape, Lost Ark features a point-and-click movement system, which is pretty rare to find in a modern MMO. That's largely where the similarities stop, but fans of the genre will undoubtedly have a blast with Lost Ark.

The game's art style is pretty unique, and it's got your standard MMO fare with questing, crafting, and endgame raids. Overall though, Lost Ark's combat is the star of the show. It's reminiscent of something like Diablo, where you must chain skills to deal huge damage. These skills are unique depending on your class, offering a ton of replayability to Lost Ark.

7. New World: Aeternum

MMOs like Old School RuneScape
Image via Amazon Games

If the traditional MMO structure is a little stale to you, New World: Aeternum might not change your thoughts much. You know exactly what you're getting into here if you've played games like WoW, but it does it a??ll with such a high production quality that you simply can't discount it.

The visuals are gorgeous, the combat is free-flowing and engaging, and the main quest is a winner, too. New World: Aeternum also rewards crafting so heavily that its hard to remember any MM??O like it. If you put the time in to gather your resources, that's how you'll get your endgame gear - no grinding tough bosses and hoping for a random drop here.

6. Palia

MMOs like Old School RuneScape
Image via Singularity 6

If you like the skilling side of Old School RuneScape, then Palia is sure to appeal to your interests. Part life simulator, part MMO, Palia is a cozy game about living off the land in a worl?d alongside your friends.

Fishing, farming, cooking, constructing a home - these gameplay concepts are at the heart of Palia. While RuneScape's offerings are more point-and-click and Palia's require a more hands-on approach, they're the same core ideas. If you're looking for a relaxing MMO, you can do a lot worse than starting a virtual life in Palia.

5. Guild Wars 2

MMOs like Old School RuneScape
Image via ArenaNet

Don't let Guild Wars 2's age fool you. It's still an MMO well worth trying in 2024, offering ple?nty of unique experiences you won't find anywhere else in the genre.

I largely want to hone in on Guild Wars 2's Dynamic Events system. It's such a huge part of the game, replacing the traditional quests you might find in other MMOs. Around the game world, things just... happen. This can be as big as an enormous monster threatening an entire town, for which you'll need a big group of players to defeat, or it can be as small as a suspicious NPC in a city who leads you to their hidden treasure. Guild Wars 2 is dynamic storytelling at its finest.

4. RuneScape 3

MMOs like Old School RuneScape
Image via Jagex

Well, yeah. Obviously. If you're a fan of Old School RuneScape, there's a good chance you'll like RuneScape 3, too. While many series fans are vehemently against the newer game's modernized combat and aggressive microtransactions, the core gameplay still evokes the classic RuneScape feeling.

The two games have taken different paths, meaning RuneScape 3 has tons of great quests that Old School RuneScape players will have never seen. There are even a few exclusive skills, like Summoning, Divination, Invention, Archaeology, and Necromancy. XP comes much easier in RuneScape 3, too, removing much of the grind aspect of Old School RuneScape skills. Whether that'?s a go?od thing or not is personal preference.

3. Neverwinter

MMOs like Old School RuneScape
Image via Cryptic Studios

Neverwinter is a classic Dungeons & Dragons MMO, with a huge foc??us on its engrossing narrative. Sadly, much of the conversation about Neverwinter in recent years has turne??d to its monetization strategy. It's a shame, really. As far as MMOs go, few have such an epic main questline, and that deserves to be celebrated.

Many long-time fans of the game have complained about its grind. That word, "grind," is music to the ears of Old School RuneScape players. They live for the grind. Yearn for it. Yeah, I reckon OSRS players would love Neverwinter.

2. The Elder Scrolls Online

MMOs like Old School RuneScape
Image via ZeniMax Online Studios

Over 10 years after its launch, The Elder Scrolls Online remains as popular as ever. Its game world of Tamriel evokes serious Old School RuneScape vibes, as do its quests, which are some of the most interesting y??ou'll find in an MMO.

Elder Scrolls Online's world is its biggest strength. Tamriel has so much to see and do, whether that be exploring locations previously seen in the series, grinding levels, or completing Trials, which are ESO's 12-player raid dungeons. If you like Old School RuneScape, I feel pretty saf?e in saying you'll enjoy this one.

1. Albion Online

MMOs like Old School RuneScape
Image via Sandbox Interactive

It only takes a cursory glance at Albion Online to see why it might appeal to fans of Old School RuneScape. Visually, its graphics style draws an immediate comparison to OSRS, but the similarities aren't just surface level.

Albion Online is classless, just like Old School RuneScape. This means that your character's strengths are defined by your actions rather than an arbitrary choice you make at the start of the game. There's also the player-driven economy, with all items in the game being gathered or created by players. This is perfect for Old School RuneScape Ironman players who don't mind facing a grind.

I’ve always valued the rich variety of activities available in World of Warcraft, from raiding and PvP to Mythic+. However, my feelings about Mythic+, particularly in The War Within, are somewhat mixed these days. On the one hand, it?? offers an exciting way to stay engaged with the game, presenting numerous opportunities for progression.

On the other hand, it brings along? some significant pitfalls and challenges that are getting harder to overlook. Mythic+ often feels like a double-edged sword: while it provides endless chances for improvement, the accompanying issues make me question whether the rewards are truly worth the effort.

The upside of Mythic+ in The War Within

For many players, myself included, Mythic+ is a cornerstone of WoW’s endgame. I’ve sunk countless hours into Mythic+ dungeons over the years because, when everything goes right, it’s a thrilling experience that is easy to enjoy for extended periods of time. There’s nothing quite like pulling off a clean run on a high-level key with your group. It’s challenging, rewarding, and keeps the game interesting week after week. It's such a positive addition to WoW ??that it's practically become the main event... for better or worse.

Constantly relevant content

One of th??e biggest perks of Myt??hic+ is that it’s never really "done." No matter how many keys you complete, there’s always a higher level to push for, new strategies to figure out, and fresh affixes to tackle. This is perfect if, like me, you enjoy the grind. Every week feels like a chance to prove yourself again, and that’s a big part of the appeal. The way difficulty scales means there’s always something to challenge you, no matter how geared or experienced you are.

A great source of Gear

Mythic+ is also hands down the best way to get gear in The War Within. I’ve been able to gear up quickly just by focusing on these dungeons. The Great Vault rewards you fo?r doing multiple dungeons each week, and the gear you get from it is often just as good, if not better than what you’d earn from raiding. For som??eone who likes mixing up endgame content, Mythic+ has become an essential part of my weekly routine.

But here’s the catch/h2>

As much as I enjoy Mythic+, it’s got some major downsides that weigh on me more and more. First up is the pressure it puts on Raiders. If you’re part of a raid group, especially one aiming for Heroic or Mythic difficulties, running Mythic+ is basically a requirement to keep up in terms of gear. Unfortunately, this is where the grind starts to become... grindy, and that's not a good thing.

Mandatory for Raiders

In The War Within, the pressure to run Mythic+ is heavier than ever. If you’re serious at all about raiding beyond Normal difficulty, there’s genuinely no way to avoid Mythic+. It is a requirement. I find myself logging in not because I’m excited to play but because if I skip Mythic+ for a week, I’ll fall behind my guildmates. What used to be a fun challenge has become something I have to do just to stay competitive in raid?s. This shift—from raiding being the primary source of gear to Mythic+ taking over—is highly exhausting.

Raid Entrance in WoW: The War Within

You’re punished if you don’t like It

Even if you’re not into Mythic+, you’re kind of forced into it. I know plenty of people in my guild who aren’t fans of the Mythic+ grind, but they have no choice if they want to keep pace. It sucks to feel stuck running content you don’t enjoy just to stay relevant. If you’re a good raider but don’t run Mythic+, you’ll still end up behind in terms of gear progression, and that creates this weird dynamic where playe??rs are punished for not liking a certain part of the game, or at least not wanting to grind it all the time. But, if you don't, you will absolutely suffer in the geari?ng department, and that just sucks.

Pugging Mythic+ is the worst

Then there’s the nightmare that is pugging (joining a random group of players). Some of my worst experiences in WoW have come from trying to pug Mythic+ runs. The random nature of pugging makes it super stressful, and when things go wrong (which they often do), it’s just a mess. The timer adds unnecessary pressure, and if it becomes clear that you won’t meet the timer, players tend to leave early. Who doesn't love that? I now avoid pugging unless I absolutely have no choice, which limits how much Mythic+ I can realistically do each week. Historically, pugs have never been 'the best' way to run anything in World of Warcraft, ??but current Mythic+ puts a bright sp??otlight on the aging problem.

Affixes feel like unnecessary difficulty

More often than not, Affixes add a level of difficulty that can feel more frustrating than fun to play against. Instead of making you come up with creative strategies, they often just punish you for things outside your control. While The War Within managed to fix a lot of these problems, especially by ad??ding buffs to the affix list as well, I feel the main issue remains. While I get that affixes are supposed to keep dungeons fresh, and they do, sometimes they end up feeling like they’re adding spiteful artificial difficulty for the sake of?? it, rather than improving the gameplay experience with something interesting.

The problem with Raid Loot vs. Mythic+ Loot

One of my biggest gripes with Mythic+ in The War Within, beyond what I've already mentioned, is how it overshadows raiding when it comes to loot. The amount of gear you can get from Mythic+ is ridic??ulous compared to what you get from raiding. You can run multiple Mythic+ dungeons a week and get top-tier gear from the Great Vault, while raids feel incredibly stingy by comparison. This insane loot disparity is a serious issue that cannot be ignored.

Mythic+ Loot overshadows Raiding

Currently, there's no limit to the amount of loot you can get from Mythic+. Between Raids and Mythic+, there is simply no contest. Raid loot, especially from Normal and Heroic, just doesn’t keep up in terms of power or number of drops. After a few high-level Mythic+ runs, the gear you get from raiding starts to feel underwhelming. It’s a shame because raiding used to be a core part of WoW’s endgame??, but when Mythic+ is so much more efficient for gear, it’s hard n??ot to prioritize it over raids. I genuinely don't blame anyone that does.

Great Vault options in The War Within

Fix the Loot Disparity

Blizzard has addressed this before, but it remains a big problem regardless. Raid loot should be more competitive with Mythic+ gear, especia??lly at higher difficulties. They could increase the item level of raid gear or add special bonuses that make it stand out. Another option would be to limit drop frequency or how powerful Mythic+ gear is so it doesn’t completely overshadow raid rewards. I am not a fan of this option though, because I like that Mythic+ is a great source of additional loot. However, loot from Raiding currently serves only a niche purpose, and that makes the whole effort of putting a group together for a raid feel meaningless.

The current disparity in loot between raiding and Mythic+ is pushing more players, myself included, to favor Mythic+ over traditional raiding. While I don’t dislike Mythic+ overall, it’s hard to ignore that raids take?? significantly longer to complete yet yield far less loot compared to?? a mode that not only offers better rewards but also an endless supply of them. This creates a serious imbalance that isn't being adequately addressed, leading to frustration for players like me who value the raid experience but aren't being properly rewarded for it.

What needs to change in Mythic+

While I do enjoy certain aspects of Mythic+, it's clear that the system is i??n need of significant adjustments, and I’m confident I’m not alone in feeling this way. The current setup is unnecessarily pun??ishing and stressful, especially if you’re not running it with a consistent group. If Blizzard wants to make Mythic+ more enjoyable and less of a chore, here’s what I think they should do:

Get rid of the Timer

Since the dawn of Mythic+, the timer has been a source of artificial difficulty for the game mode. For many players, it's one of the most stressful aspects of the sys?tem, and honestly, I think it should go. It discourages people from pugging and adds unnecessary pressure to every run. Removing the timer would let players focus more on learning the mechanics and working together without the constant fear of failure via the clock hanging over them.

?Instead, Mythic+ should emphasize minimizing deaths, rewarding teams with greater end rewards for fewer deaths. The challenge should li??e in the difficulty of the encounters themselves, rather than in racing against a timer, which often shifts the focus to route optimization and speed rather than skillful play and overcoming tough content.

Rework Affixes

Affixes need a complete rework. Instead of adding frustration, they should add a challenge that encourages teamwo?rk and creative thinking. Blizzard should experiment with affixes that don’t just ramp up the difficulty but make the dungeons more dynamic and interesting.

Introduce a Loot Goblin affix that adds a chance for one to spawn in your dungeon. If your team can kill it before it escapes, you'll earn an extra piece of loot. Another potential affix could make enemies explode a few seconds after death, adding a tactical layer to positioning and timing. The key is to move away from ??affixes that rely on random effects tied to timers: everyone uses addons to manage these anyway. Also, eliminate the flat stat increases to enemies based on affixes, as they add nothing but dull, artificial difficulty.

End Key degradation

Failing a Mythic+ run is already enough of a punishment in terms of wasted ??time. The extra penalty of key degradation feels totally unnecessary. Removing this would encourage players to push themselves to try higher keys without the fear of losing progress.

In conclusion...

Mythic+ is one of the most engaging parts of WoW’s endgame, but it’s about as far from perfect as it can get right now. The pressure it puts on raiders, the frustrations of pugging, the disparity in loot between Raids and Mythic+, and the stress caused by affixes and the timer all contribute to a system that is overwhelmingly problematic toward the player base. The proof of this statement is everywhere, even on the official WoW forums. With meaningful changes, Mythic+ could evolve into a truly balanced and enjoyable aspect of The War Within. As it stands, t??hough, it remains a blessing rotting in a growing sea of decay, marred by frustration.

Once Human is?? prepping for its next scenario, Way of Winter?, which will take the Mayflies to Nalcott’s frigid north. To introduce the upcoming location to players, a new NPC sends them on a quest to fetch some orange juice and blueberry juice. Let’s go find some.

Ankh’s juice quest in Once Human

You first need to get the quest called “[Event] Invited to the Snowy Realmfrom Ankh in Meyer’s Market in Broken Delta, a level 12 zone. You can find the quest-giving NPC by loo?king for the glowing guitar icon on the world map. Ankh asks you to bring her 5 Blueberry Juice and 5 Orange Juice, both recipes that you know by default. But to make them, you’ll need to locate blueberries and oranges.

Where to find blueberries and oranges?

  • Blueberry bushes - 5182, -5611
  • Orange trees - 5855, -5170

An easy way to get an Orange Juice in Once Human is by scrounging in the game’s weekly giveaway tab. Hit Esc > Shop Events > Events > Regular Event. You can c??laim one free Orange Juice every week using your A??stral Dewlets currency.

Taking five weeks to ?complete Ankh's quest isn't viable, considering that Orange Juice decays in 24 hours. Luckily, there’s another quick way to get some oranges to make your own juice. Citrus County (5855, -5170), a level 4 area, has plenty of orange trees ready for picking. From Meyer’s Market, it’s about a 1.5 km trek, and along the way, you can stop and grab some blueberries.

Head to 5182, -5611. You’ll find several blueberry bushes along the roadside. There are also one or two blueberry bushes righ?t outside of Meyer’s Market, by the riverbank, though you’ll have to wait for them to respawn to get the amount needed to make five Blueberry Jui??ce items.

After turning in your quest items to Ankh, be sure to sign up for Once Human’s Way of Winter event if you haven’t already. When the new scenario launches, you’ll be rewarded with a ?pink wool hat cosmetic item, perfect for the cold.

Vitalstones is one of the many resources you'll need to grind regularly in Throne and Liberty if you want to?? smoothen your in-game progression.

Interestingly, the process of obtaining Vitalstones is slightly different, as they will have to be crafted using basic resources. Once you've enough of all the necessary resources, using the crafting recipe will help?? you obtain Vitalstones. To gain the resources, you'll have to track the movement pattern of a Gigantrite.

How to craft Vitalstones in Throne and Liberty

The first time you enter the game and clear the tutorial, you'll observe a Gigantrite?. These gigantic creatures are lik?e flying whales, and they drop something called blue crystals from their bodies. Usually, blue sparkles are the best hint, indicating the presence of these blue crystals.

Gigantrites are available on the mini-map, and they have specific spawn times. You can always check out the countdown timer to know when the ?next one is g??oing to appear. Here are the ingredients needed to make Vitalstones.

  • Rare Manasteel
  • Rare Magic Powder
  • Polished Crystals
  • Lithograph

Once you've enough resources, visit the Armor Crafter or Weapon Crafter, who will al?low you ac??cess to the crafting menu. Once you've created a Vitalstone, you can equip it to an empty slot on any gear of your choice. You can change your selection later, and also upgrade the stones with proper resources.

If you've spent a decent amount of hours in Throne and Liberty, chances are high that you have enco?untered Error 46 at least once.

This specific error is exclusive to PC users, as there have been no reports of it so far from players on the console. Like most errors of Throne and Liberty, the exact cause of this report remains unknown at this point. While NCSoft has released the first major post-launch 1.1.0 patch across all platforms, Error 46 continues to affect the progress of PC players. Thankfully, there are certain steps you can take to solve the problem and prevent it from happening altoge?ther.

How to fix Error 46 in Throne and Liberty

Like most errors, make sure to restart Throne and Liberty if you encounter Error 46. Several major issues, like anti-cheat-related troubles, are known to resolve on th??eir own once you start a fresh iteration of the game. The same could be true in this case?, but I actually used another solution.

This potential fix for Error 46 was posted on the game's subreddit a few days back by user u/Conscious_Ease8344. This method worked like a charm for me when I encountered this error, and there hasn't been a reemergence since. It appears that if you manage to brick Throne and Liberty, Error 46 could appear. For some undisclosed reason, the problem ??seems to be with the executable file, which prevents you from running the game normally. Here's how you can ??fix the problem.

  • Go to the Binaries folder.
  • This should be located inside the Throne and Liberty game folder, which is in the Steamapps folder on your PC.
  • In Binaries, open the Win64 folder.
  • Locate the TL.exe file and delete it.
  • Go to your Recycle Bin and remove the deleted file permanently.

//www.reddit.com/r/throneandliberty/comments/1fuoyvg/system_request46_potential_fix/

Once done, open your Steam library and locate Throne and Liberty. From the settings menu, check the integrity of your downloaded files once. This will redownload the file you deleted ear??lier and help you run?? the game normally without any issues.

Do note that the method mentioned here is similar to reinstalling the entire game. However, you're only deleting a smaller file instead of everything that y??ou had downloaded. Naturally, it will take lot less time for Steam to re-download a smaller file compared to downloading all the files once again.

Coming across a Mystic Globe in Throne and Liberty can be extremely beneficial, especially ??????????????????????????if you're still trying to level up your character.

These special items are spread all across the game's world, and you'll be alerted by your Amitoi when you come near one. Opening them will help you get some useful rewards. If yo?u're lucky enough, you could end up getting access to a Mystic Portal as well. Let's take a look at where and how you can find these globes on your adventures.

How to find a Mystic Globe in Throne and Liberty

The Mystic Globes are shown on the map in Throne and Liberty once you come near one. If you're near a globe, its exact location will show up on the?? map. Your Amitoi companion will also alert you. Ma??ke sure to check the notification in the right-bottom corner.

Thanks to the community, your pursuit of finding Mystic Globes?? can become a lot easier. I used this map created and shared by Gameslantern on the game's official subreddit. Using the map will instantly help you understand where exactly you should take a look. This will also prevent you from wandering about in hopes of finding the globes.

//www.reddit.com/r/throneandliberty/comments/1frau7j/all_mystic_globe_locations/?utm_source=embedv2&utm_medium=post_embed&utm_content=whitespace&embed_host_url=//www.sportskeeda.com/mmo/throne-and-liberty-mystic-globe-portal

Once you've found a globe, you'll need a Mystic key to open it and earn all the rewards. Ideally, you'll want to hope for a Mystic portal to open. To get the keys, go to the Contract Coin merchants. But do note that these keys expire if ??left unused for seven days. Hence, don't hoard the keys, and only buy them when you're looking out for ??the globes.

How do Mystic Portals work in Throne and Liberty

There's no guarantee over when you'll unlock a Mystic Portal, as the rate of spawning seems rather low. If a portal? does ??appear, your Amitoi companion will inform you about it. The portal will remain open for 60 minutes for you to clear it. While you'll have to undertake additional tasks, there will be more rewards.

In general, the rewards you get from?? the portals are far better than what you get from the globes. Make sure to complete them whenever they spawn on the map after you unlock a globe with a key.

Like every MMO, playing with your friends is a key aspect of enjoying Throne and Liberty's gameplay.

Of course, you can pla?y with strangers and make new mates online, but the game also lets you play together with your friends (as long as the two of you are on the same server). In terms of available activities, there's plenty of freedom over what you want to do together. Unfortunately, your inventory can't be shared with your friend, and NCSoft's latest adventure is very strict about this.

Throne and Liberty trading with friends explained

When you participate in a quest with your friend, any rewards will be split equally. In fact, Throne and Liberty does have a player-driven economy where you can use your auctioning skills. But when it comes to trading between your f??riends, that's simply not possible.

The situation could change in the future if the developers decide to tweak how the existing system works. However, I ha?rdly see that happening as NCSoft has already introduced the Auction House.

//www.reddit.com/r/throneandliberty/comments/1fs1wo4/the_game_has_no_trading_between_players_2024_mmo/#:~:text=The%20game%20has%20no%20trading,%3A%20r%2Fthroneandliberty

How does Auction House work in Throne and Liberty?

The Auction House allows you to trade your items and gears. To do that, you'll need a particular currency called the Lucent (this currency can be earned by simply playing ?the game). If you're looking for a specific piece of gear, you'll find it in the Auction House. Similarly, you can sell a gear that you don't need and earn Lucent in the process.

Please note that the Auction House is a work in progress as of this writing, and some major changes c??ould be made to the system in the future. A direct trading system, on the other hand, could lead to unfair practices like botting. Moreover, it could also incentivize people to hoard their loot and ask for unexpected prices. All things considered, the presence of a universal Auction House is certainly a better trade-off.

Nature's Jade is arguably one of the hardest resources in Throne and Liberty if ??you consider the rate at which they drop inside the game.

Nature's Jade is strictly linked with the activity of fishing, and it's beneficial if you're looking to u??pgrade your equipment. But to do so, you'll first ??have to find the resources in the required quantities. Unlike some of the more commonly available resources, you could end up getting confused trying to find Nature's Jade if you don't know where to look.

How to get Nature's Jade in Throne and Liberty

There are three? ways to get Nature's Jade wi??thin the game. They're available from Small and Big Catch Sacks.

You can get these sacks in the same way as you get fish/treasures.?? There's no guarantee when you'll get these sacks. So far for me, getting a sack seems to happen randomly. Small is the most common one, and I am yet to get a Big Catch.

When you get one of these sacks, there's no guar??antee that there will be Nature's Jade in it. In fact, the odds of finding other resources are higher in most cases.

How to use Nature's Jade in Throne and Liberty

This particular resource is exclusively tied to fishing activity, as it helps you to upgrade your rods. Once you have enough Jade, go to Sundries Merchant (which can be found in different towns). By interacting with him, you'll be able to ge?t the upgraded rods. For example, the Bamboo Fishing Rod can be upgraded to a Steel Fishing Rod in exchange for 10 Nature's Jade.

Additionally, you can also get the Tevent Fishing Rod by exchanging Tevent's Soul Fragment. But do note that you'll need 100 Jade for this, so it can be pretty expensive. But investing your resources has some merit, as bett??er rods will improve your fishing. I also believe that the better rods? have higher chances of finding a sack, so consider the expense as an investment.

When it comes to cooking recipes in Throne and Liberty, there are plenty to pick from.

Cooking isn't just a cosmetic activity in the game, and while it's fun on one hand, it's highly beneficial on the other. As you start leveling up your character, you'll be able to unlock and cook more recipes. The recipes that you cook will help you get different buffs and debuffs, and some of these can be extremely crucial in clearing a quest. Without any more delay, let's take a look at all the cooking recipes available in Throne an??d Liberty, along with their in-game effects and required ingredients.

Every cooking recipe in Throne and Liberty produces a unique item, and no two are the same. Some of the cooking recipes are easier to manage, as there are fewer required ingredients. Some ??recipes will only become available as your level goes up inside the game.

For every recipe, there's a static part - these ingredients can be considered as the base requirements. Certain cooking recipes have different rarities in Throne and Liberty, and that depends on the t?ypes of secondary ingredients you're using.

Unlocking the Guild Base is the first thing to do once you're level 7 or above in Throne and Liberty.

A key aspect of the upcoming title is to play together, and there is plenty of PvE and PvP content to invest your time. While you can always form a party to complete a quest or just matchmake, creating a guild is a better solution. The Guild Base allows you to control the different aspects of your guild. To build it, you'll first have to complete cert?ain quests to unlock it.

How to unlock Guild Base in Throne and Liberty

Unlocking the Guild Base involves several steps in Throne and Liberty, and it can be pretty tricky as well.

Step 1: Defeat Lord Vampire Leonardas

You'll have to defeat the mythical creature to turn Sophia into a human once again. You won't be able to find the quest immediately after starting the game, as it's part of Chapter 5. Leonardas isn't impossible to defeat, but he tends to teleport from one pla?ce to another. You'll also want to evade his attacks, as they can do a lot of damage.

Step 2: Go to Monsieur Hander

Once you've defeated Leonardas, check on Sophia. Then, go to Monsieur Hander, who will want to hear about Sophia from you. Once cleared, you can make your way ove?r to the Gu??ild Merchant.

Step 3: Talk to the Guild Merchant

The Guild Merchant will tell you the final steps to unlock and manage your Guild Base. Inside the base, you'll be able to find different merchants selling useful stuff. Addition??ally, you'll also come across different objectives that are available only as part of yo??ur guild.

Where in the Guild Base located in Throne and Liberty?

The Guild Base can be ??accessed through the Base Gate at Vienta Village's ?Artisan Plaza. The gate is right beside a Strength Golem, so it's not hard to spot.

If your guild is considered a legion, you'll have to acces??s the Guild Base v??ia the Base Gate at Stonegard Castle's High-End Residences.

Throne and Liberty's Update 1.1.0 has been announced, and the servers are currently down for maintenance.
Once the servers are up, you'll be able to witne??ss some significant changes inside the game. NCSoft has taken feedback from the community, and the first post-launch patch includes some big changes. While most of the changes have been applied universally across all the platforms, few tweaks are exclusive to the Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

Throne and Liberty Update 1.1.0 All Platforms changes

Once you've access to Update 1.1.0, the UI should behave in a smoother fashion. Moreover, some of the pesky bugs that acted as hindrances have bee?n sq?uashed by the developers.

  • Boss Effects: Mechanic markers should now appear more reliably under high visual effect counts.
  • UI: Guild Status will no longer have an erroneous 'Writer:#' appended to the text.
  • UI: Congratulatory Package will no longer remain visible on the shop UI after it has been claimed.
  • UI: Fixed controller D-pad becoming unresponsive after equipping an outfit in the Mirror Boutique.
  • UI: Fixed controller navigation in the Guild menu when searching for a guild.
  • Settings: When privacy settings restrict friend requests, these requests will no longer appear when relaunching the game.
  • Localization: Applied latest localization updates, including the correction of several untranslated strings in game text and voiceover.

Throne and Liberty Update 1.1.0 Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 changes (Console Only)

  • Friend Requests: Requests can now be accepted if the other player is offline or in another world area.

Throne and Liberty Update 1.1.0 Xbox Series X|S changes

The world map should look much more intuitive post the upda??te on your Xbox console.

  • Graphics: Increased resolution of world map.
  • Settings: Fixed behavior of some UGC settings related to Guilds.
  • Settings: Players with restricted privacy settings will no longer see blank Whisper chats from blocked players.

Throne and Liberty Update 1.1.0 PlayStation 5 changes

  • Graphics: Optimizations to reduce screen tearing issues.

Whil??e the latest changes will certainly solve some of the issues observed post launch, it's fair to expect more updates in the next few weeks.

The servers for Throne and Liberty a??re down at the time of writing as the developers prepare the client for Up??date 1.1.0.

This is the first major post-launch update, and it's available on PC and consoles. While the update is already available across all platforms, the servers continue to be out of order. Thankfully, NCSoft has already informed players of a potential timeline regarding w??hen you'll be able to play once again.

When will the Throne and Liberty servers go live after Update 1.1.0?

The maintenance began as scheduled at 12:30 a.m. PT/3:30 a.m. ET/7:30 a.m. UTC. According to the official notice, it is expected to last approximately six hours. If we assume that NCSoft will stick with that timeline, you can jump into Throne and Liberty at 6:30 a.m. PT/9:30 a.m. ET/1:30 p.m. UTC.

//twitter.com/playtlgame/status/1841663205577306512

There's a chance that the maintenance could be extended at short notice. We have seen that happening in the past with games like Lost Ark, so a delay can't be ruled out yet. If t?here are no such delays, you should be able to play the latest MMO in about four hours since this article went live. If there are any delays, we will update the new timeline in this article.

The latest update includes some major changes across all platforms, much of which are targeted towards making the game a l??ot more stable. If the changes work as intended, the UI should feel smoother, and some of the errors you might have encountered till ?now should be resolved.

However, to test it out, we w??ill have to wait at least a few more hours until NCSoft is done with its maintenance work.

If you're not playing with your friends and other players in Throne and Liberty, then what are you even doing?

A core experience of every MMO is to get together in adventures and share all the spoils. In Amazon Games' latest adventure, you can play with and against each other. Despite the early days, the PvP scene is pretty near, but you can simply concentrate on the PvE side of things. Getting together with your buddies to take down the strong bosses and unlock unique re?wards is pretty fun. To ease the process, you can join a guild or create one of your own.

How to create a guild in Throne and Liberty

While the? easier job is just to join a guild, you can create one on your own as well.

  • Go to the main menu.
  • Select the Guild option.
  • Click on Create a Guild.
  • Choose your Guild Emblem, and you can also customize its looks.
  • Choose the name for your guild.
  • Once created, players can search for it and request to join. You can also share the details with your friends so that they can join.

Note that you can't immediately create a gui??ld after starting the game. You'll have to reach level 7 to make one (or join a guild).

If you don't want to create a guild, you can simply join one made by anot?her player. Alternatively, y??ou can join a Party if you simply want to clear content, which is hard to do alone. Once you're level 7 or higher, go to the main menu.

  • Select the Guild function.
  • You can filter out your results using the available prerequisites.
  • Once you've found a guild, send a request to join.
  • Once your request is accepted, you'll be part of the guild.

Apart from joining guilds and parties, Throne and Liberty also has a matchmaking system for certain types of content. To access this feature, you'll need to reach pla??yer level 20.

One of the most critical tasks in Throne and Liberty is to increase the storage and carr??y capacity of?? your character.

When you're just ??getting started on your adventure, this will seem trivial, as your inventory is hardly full. As you start clearing quests, traveling to new areas, and defeating opponents, your bag will soon start filling up with things you need and don't need at the same time. In case you haven't guessed at this point, there's an overall limit on the amount of stuff you can carry at any given moment. By increasing your storage, you'll be able to carry a larger inventory on your adventure.

How to increase storage in Throne and Liberty?

To increase your storage, you'll have to head to the Storage Manager. You'll find them in every major town, and? it's impossible to miss them. Just open up your map, and you'll find a c?hest icon. This is where the Storage Manager is. When you interact with him, your Storage and character inventory will open up. At the bottom of the screen, you'll find the capacities for both carry capacity and storage, along with the '+' icon.

Just click on the '+' sign next to your storage, and you'll add five additional slots. Initially, you'll need to spend 5,000 Solant for every five slots, w??hile purchasing five more bag slots will set you back by a?? hefty 250,000 Solant.

It's best to focus on expanding your storage over carry capacity due to the differences in their prices. While this will mean that you'll need t??o travel frequently to the different towns, it's a better trade-off than having to ??spend 250,000 Solant.

How to manage your storage in Throne and Liberty?

You'll need to visit the Store Manager every time you want to move an item to your inventory. While I don't like this mechanic too much, the Store Manager also allows you to access a Storage Chest. You can store any item yo??u don't need in this chest (assuming they have late-game usage). Additionally, if you ever want to transfer servers inside the game, all items inside your storage chest will also carry over.

Throne and Liberty is a fun MMO to consi??der when it performs normally on your PC or console, but c?ertain issues have arisen after its global launch.

While NCSoft's latest title is pretty stable at launch, some performance-related issues might occur on your end. One such problem is the Unreal Engine crashing?? randomly, but in other instances, you could end up with a loading screen that never loads. Typically, it will appear like a normal loading screen, but the game never proceeds into the main menu. While we wait for a post-launch patch for the developers to solve the issue, here are some trial-and-error methods you could use for both PC and consoles.

Throne and Liberty infinite loading screen solutions

While Throne and Liberty's infinit??e loading screen can happen for multiple reasons, here are some steps to take just to ensure that there are no problems on your end.

  • System requirements: The most obvious thing to check is to make sure that if you're on a PC, your hardware is good enough to run Throne and Liberty. You'll need at least decent hardware by today's times to run the latest MMO smoothly. There will be loading problems if your hardware setup isn't capable enough, especially in the RAM department.
  • Reduce graphics: While it's always appealing to run games with the highest graphics preset, it might be beneficial to lower it for the time being. This could also help you to prevent Unreal Engine crashes.
  • Turn off overclocking: If you've overclocked your PC, disabling it before launching the game could prevent crashes and infinite loading screen errors from happening.
  • Rebuild the database: This method can be tried if you're getting the loading screen error on your PS5. Turn your console off, and hold down the Power button till you hear two beeps.
  • Check file integrity: If you're on a PC, verify the integrity of the game files. You can do this from the Installed Files tab in your Steam Library, where the game is installed.
  • Update the in-game client: Throne and Liberty has already received a hotfix with plenty of fixes related to stability issues. The update should automatically help you fix problems like random crashes and loading screen errors.

//www.reddit.com/r/throneandliberty/comments/1fq4km3/infinite_loop_between_start_game_and_enter/

Ultimately, it has become a modern-day trend for video games to have post-launch optimization issues that are then removed with updates. Also, a si??mple restart can often solve a lot of problems, so a quick alt+F4 can sometimes be the answer.

Throne and Liberty i??s now available worldwide, but some users have encountered the pesky nightmare of Unreal Eng??ine crashes on opening night.

This particular issue isn't entirely uncommon, and it's been seen in other titles that have been built on Unreal Engine 4 (as per NCSoft, the game doesn't u??se the most recent Unreal Engine 5). The crash typically occurs due to optimization issues, which can sometimes be related to the system that you're using. Let's take a look at some tips and tricks you could try to solve the problem.

Disclaimer: There's no guaranteed method that magica??lly causes the errors to go away. I am expecting?? NCSoft to drop an update post-launch to permanently solve the issue.

Possible Unreal Engine crash fixes in Throne and Liberty

Thankfully, the reports of Unreal Engine crash fixes aren't widespread, but there are incidents where players are unable to play at all. Typically, the cra??sh can happen randomly, which makes it harder to solve.

  • Revert Overclocking: One of the biggest known causes of Unreal Engine crashes across several games is overclocking. Now, overclocking isn't necessarily a bad thing, and it can sometimes be necessary to run an application smoothly. But for Throne and Liberty, this could be an issue, and you should turn it off temporarily till a patch update rolls out.
  • Update your GPU drivers: Every time a game crashes on my system due to outdated drivers, I feel silly. But it happens to the best of us, as we often use system messages to update our hardware. Additionally, both Nvidia and AMD usually roll out specific updates to fix stability issues related to particular video games.
  • Disable Fullscreen: Not only does using Borderless Window make it easier for you to switch between multiple monitors, but several video games are known to run a lot smoother when you disable Fullscreen. This could be a possible solution to try out in case you're getting Unreal Engine crashes.

//www.reddit.com/r/throneandliberty/comments/1e7frhp/unreal_engine_crash_throne_and_liberty/

It appears that incidents of Throne and Liberty's game engine crashes aren't entirely new. In this Reddit post, user u/Sanaszi solved the issue by reducing the graphics to 'medium' from 'high.' While Throne and Liberty's requirements don't appear to be very high in terms of modern hardware, it'??s safe to reduce the graphic??s for the time being.

Additionally, make sure you've got the basics correct—updated OS and file integrity. Sometimes, third-party applications like your anti-virus could accidentally delete one or a few core file(s). Running a file-integrity check would automatically detect such issues and reinstall those required Throne and Liberty files.

Abyss Currency is one of the most essential resources you'll come across in Throne and Liberty, and you'll want?? to hoard it as much as possible.

But first, you'll need to earn the resource, and things in any MMO can get quite confusing. But there's a stra??tegic way to gain the Abyss Currency inside the game, and thankfully, you'll need a bulk of these items after you reach level 50?. This particular resource is helpful to upgrade your gears, which you'll need to clear the endgame content.

Best ways to get Abyss Currency in Throne and Liberty

The best way to get Abyss Currency is by completing Allied Forces Contracts. In every city, you'll come across a Sundries Merchant. You can purchase an Allied R??esistance Forces Contract from this chap in exchange for Solant.

The cheaper contract costs 1?0,000 solant (excluding taxes), and you can purchase it a maximum three times per week. The more expensive one, which can be bought for a maximum of six times, costs 40,000 Solant. If you max these purchases out every week, you'll have nine chances for every region to complete the contracts and earn Abyss Currency in the process.

You can also craft the Allied Resistance Forces Contracts by using Solant and Allied Forces Seals. Make sure to also check out the endgame dungeons and quests. Since these tasks have higher difficulties in Throne and Liberty, they can also become a steady s??ource of Abyss Currency eventually.

How to use Abyss Currency in Throne and Liberty

You'll come across Equipmen??t Chests, which can only be unlocked using Abyss Currency (each chest costs 80 Currency). These chests offer you a reward pick, and all the available items are of Purple (T3) quality.

Naturally, better gear will help you reach the soft cap of the Gear Score and maintain the top position. But the game's global version has just been released, so make sure ??to enjoy your time instead of turning the tasks into daily chores.

Early in your Throne and Liberty playthrough, you'll encounter an exploration quest in Windhill Shores asking you t??o read a letter in a bottle near Spiral Cliff. While the game has?? a few map markers leading you in the right direction, some obstacles can make this quest tricky.

Your first goal during th??e A Sailor's Letter quest is to find a letter in a bottle near the wreck under Spiral Cliff. If you're already near the shipwreck, turn north and head toward the shaded area on your map until you spot a small bottle near the coastline. Since it's near the water, you won't? have to worry about climbing the nearby cliff.

Stranded Sailor location in Throne and Liberty

Once you collect the bottle,?? your next task will be finding the stranded sailor on an island east of the Spiral Cliff. Although the quest says you can board the Marind that dock??s at Kastleton Port, I just quickly swam over there. Either way, getting there doesn't take as long as you'd expect.

The challenge of this quest comes from climbing up this mountain. Using your piton makes this much easier to finish, but even then, it's possible to fly in the wrong direction or even to your death if you angle your character incorrectly. ??Some of the pathing is also a little odd, so you'll have to be careful where you run.

Your best bet is to follow the blue marks on the rocks as you climb the cliff. While you can detour slightly in favor of using your piton the rest of the way, followi?ng these will help get you started without too much risk of falling off the mount?ain.

Once you arrive at the top of the cliff, you'll spot a skeleton and a letter. Reading the letter w??ill adv?ance you through the Sailor's Letter quest, getting you through the difficult part of this quest.

Now that the challenging part is mostly over, it's time to start fl?ying. With your treasure chest objective active, use your gliding morph to fly west to the tiny island between Spiral Cliff and the Strand?ed Sailor's location.

Upon arriving, you'll spot a treasure chest, which you'll need to unlock before returning to Kastleton, talking to a few characters, and officially completing the quest. You'll receive Growthstone, Growth Book, and Morphstone rewards throughout the mission, with the final objective allowing you to pick between Quality Weapon, Armor, and Accessory Growthstones.

Easy Anti Cheat continues to create problems for several Throne and Liberty players, who chose to purc??hase the early access pa??ck in order to pay early.

While the upcoming title will be available for free to all starting October 1st, the early access pack provides extra days of gameplay. Unfortuna??tely, a part of the community has already faced the problem with the game's anti-cheat solution, which seems to kick players out of their sessions my?steriously.

While a permanent solution is yet to be found as of writing, here are some of the solutions the community?? has already tried.

Throne and Liberty Easy Anti Cheat fix

Before diving deeper into the solutions, do note that there's no guarantee that the solutions will work or not. In some cases, a simple restart of the Steam client fixed the matter. Based on th??e discussions on Steam forums, however, not many were as lucky as me.

  • Restart the game.
  • Restart the Steam client. Usually, this process has solved EAC issues that have sometimes popped up on other games.
  • In some instances, disabling the steam overlay usually prevents problems related to sub-par optimization in games.

//www.reddit.com/r/throneandliberty/comments/1fq7xuu/easy_anticheat/

Earlier on September 27, the deve?lopers ha?ve pushed out a hotfix, which includes the following updates:

  • Fixed the issue of the non-interactable Amitoi Expedition Map. Amitoi can now be sent on missions.
  • Lucent no longer appears to need to be claimed in Storage Chest. Lucent balances are automatically updated.
  • Corrected localization at the bottom of the full screen Map to match the selected language.
  • When navigating to the Amitoi menu prior to obtaining an Amitoi, the menu text was not translated. Translations are now applied to fix this issue.
  • Resolved screen flickering on higher-end Nvidia GPUs running the latest Game Ready drivers.

While the patch notes don't mention a?nything about Easy Anti Cheat errors, it does include fixes for other errors. Players will hope that the current issues, especially related to the g??ame's anti-cheat, will be resolved before the full launch on October 1.

Old School RuneScape celebrates major holidays throughout the year with special events. These are usually fun OSRS quests, which o??ffer cosmetic rewards based on that ho??liday.

It gives you something fun to look forward to throughout the year. Some of t?hese events are an? annual tradition, while others haven't appeared in ages. Let's rank the items received from these holiday events, shall we?

Valentine's Day

The Valentine's D??ay event was held for the first and last time in 2014, making this a simple r?anking. There's just one item!

  1. Box of chocolate strawberries (2014)

The box of chocolate strawberries was a cool reward, but it was removed from the game a while ago to prevent the creation of a discontinued tradeable item, much like party hats in the original RuneScape.

Birthday

OSRS launched on February 16, 2013; each year, it marks the occasion with big birthday celebrations. Jagex goes all out with these creations, adding some of the most unique items in Old School RuneScape.

  1. Gnome child hat (2016)
  2. 4th birthday hat (2017)
  3. Prop sword (2018)
  4. War ship (2014)
  5. 10th birthday balloons (2023)
  6. 10th birthday cape (2023)
  7. Birthday cake (2019)
  8. Banana cape (2021)
  9. Gnome child plush (2023)
  10. Stray dog plush (2023)
  11. Jad plush (2023)
  12. Dragon candle dagger (2023)
  13. Silver partyhat (2023)
  14. Birthday balloons (2017)
  15. Cat ears (2020)
  16. Cake hat (2023)
  17. Oldschool jumper (2023)
  18. Cursed banana (2021)
  19. Gnome child backpack (2023)
  20. Bob the cat slippers (2023)
  21. Jad slippers (2023)
  22. Skis (2022)
  23. Hell cat ears (2020)
  24. Cow outfit (2015)

Luckily, each birthday event gives all the rewards from previous years. This means you can still obtain the earliest birthday rewards, even if you're a new OSRS player.

April Fools

Jage??x used to hold April Fools' events yearly, but they didn't always feature a unique reward. 2015 and 2016 were the only years for this, although all items can be bought from Diango in Draynor if you didn't play back in the day.

  1. Cruciferous codex (2016)
  2. Diango's claws (2015)
  3. Cabbage cape (2016)

Will April Fools' holiday?? events ever come back? Maybe, but they haven't been seen since 2020, so don't hold your breath.

Easter

Who doesn't love Easter? It's an excuse to eat mountains of chocolate and not feel awful about it, and it's no different with Old School RuneScape's Easter events.

  1. Crate ring (2022)
  2. Eastfloor spade (2023)
  3. Gregg's eastdoor (2021)
  4. Easter ring (2013)
  5. Propeller hat (2021)
  6. Easter hat (2022)
  7. Easter basket (2014)
  8. Magic egg ball (2020)
  9. Egg priest vestments (2024)
  10. Giant bronze dagger (2023)
  11. Nest hat (2023)
  12. Eggshell outfit (2018)
  13. '24-carat' sword (2020)
  14. Carrot sword (2020)
  15. Easter egg (2013)
  16. Easter egg helm (2017)
  17. Giant easter egg (2019)
  18. Bunny outfit (2016)
  19. Rubber chicken (2013)
  20. Chicken outfit (2013)
  21. Bunnyman mask (2019)

Easter events over the last few years haven't had quite as interesting rewards as the? game's early days. Let's hope Jagex can improve in the future.

Pride

Old School RuneScape Pride events were first held in 2017, before disappearing and making a return from 2022 onwards. These celebrations of LGBTQIA+ inclusivity are some of the most colorful clothing options in OSRS, making them great for fashionscapers.

  1. Poet's jacket (2023)
  2. Rainbow crown shirt (2024)
  3. Love crossbow (2023)
  4. Rainbow cape (2024)
  5. Rainbow jumper (2023)
  6. Rainbow scarf (2017)
  7. Flower crown (2022)

Pride events are aptly held throughout Pride month in June annually, although Jag??ex occasionally extends this into July, giving players a chance to claim those sweet rainbow rewards.

Midsummer

Old School RuneScape Midsummer event items

Between 2013 and 2017, Jagex celebrated midsummer towards the end of June with typically small holiday events. These rewards weren't the most popular in the game, but there are a few interesting items that fashionscapers could use as part of ??a cool outfit.

  1. Half full wine jug (2014)
  2. Disk of returning (2014)
  3. Hand fan (2017)
  4. Druidic wreath (2014)
  5. Hornwood helm (2016)
  6. Mask of balance (2015)
  7. Beach boxing gloves (2013)

There hasn't been a midsummer event in OSRS since 2017, so all cosmetic holiday rewards are available for purchase fr??om Diango in Draynor for a single coin nowadays.

Halloween

The yearly arrival of spooky season also brings a new OSRS holiday event. This has been a tradition ever since the earliest days of the original RuneScape, and it's showing no signs of stopping.

Since August, World of Warcraft guilds have been reporting a troubling bug: their guild banks, where any member of the guild can store resources, items, and even the game's rarest of loot (like mounts), were wiped out. Whether completely emptied or simply missing items, users reported that the fruits of their labor were vanishing into thin air. As of September, Blizzard's res?ponse has left many players with their heads in their hands.

Some items will never be recovered

Community Manager Linxy said in a blogpost over on the Blizzard forums that the core issue was caused by the enabling of cross-realm guilds. As a part of The War Within, many limitations on players' ability to play, trade, and share with each other across both faction and realm were dissolved, making for a more communal exp?erience a?cross the player base.

But that convenience co??mes at a cost. "Due to how some of the data was lost, we've reached a point where the result will be an incomplete restoration for some guilds, and we do not have a way to restore the remaining missing items for them," says Linxy. Data loss is?? a backend developer's worst nightmare, especially when that data could be 19-year-old mounts, collectables, and items not even obtainable in the game anymore.

The affected community, needless to say, is in shambles. The bug didn't affect?? everyone, mind you, but those it has have lost, at worst, nearly two decades' worth of stashed items. The best we can hope ?for is some form of compensation to those affected, but without the data that shows which items were lost, it really isn't going to be possible to get that history back.

Training skills in Old School RuneScape can be a delicate balance. Often, the game re?wards players for investing a ton of GP into skills, in turn allowing them to train with fast??er XP rates.

Some skills are guilty of this more than others. The eight most expensive skills in Old School RuneScape might all have profitable training methods, but if you want to hit 99, you'll need to dish? out some cash to speed things up.

Construction

Old School RuneScape Construction
Screenshot by Destructoid

Construction might be one of the easiest skills to 99 in Old School RuneScape, but it's certainly not the cheapest. Training this skill to max l??evel can cost you upwards of 200 million GP if you're looking for a fast method. Even then, choosing lower XP rates won't exa?ctly save you money.

Construction is unavoidably one of Old School RuneScape's biggest money sinks, but at least y?ou get to build a cool house along the?? way.

Crafting

Old School RuneScape Crafting
Screenshot by Destructoid

There are many ways to make money training Crafting in Old School RuneScape. Sadly, none of them are fast XP. If you want to level up your Crafting skill to 99 within a reasonable timeframe, you'll need to cough up a ton of GP to do so. The fastest XP is making Black Dragonhide Bodies, which only becomes available? at Level 84. But what's the cost to get 99 from that point? You're looking at around 80 million GP.

Alternative methods include cutting gems and making battlestaves, but even those won't come cheap. If you can spare the GP, save your sanity by training Crafting the fastest way, as it can b??e a tedious ?one to max out despite burning a huge hole in your wallet.

Farming

Old School RuneScape Farming
Screenshot by Destructoid

Interestingly, Farming is among both the most expensive and profitable skills to train in Old School RuneScape. Thi??s is entirely down to your choice of method. Planting herbs will make you money, but planting trees will yield much more XP at a cost. Farming tree runs earn you upwards of 200,000 XP each time, but reaching 99 will likely cost you 120 million GP in total. This also factors in t?he cost of protecting your trees to ensure they grow each time.

My advice? Pay the money. Farming is a skill you can max out in just over two months, if you're consistent with two tree runs a day. Cheap out, and you can expect to spend?? triple that amount of time waiting to hit 99, a??nd that's assuming you're consistent!

Fletching

Old School RuneScape Fletching
Screenshot by Destructoid

If you want to reach 99 Fletching, you'll likely be making the best ??Darts possible. On the plus side, it's very AFK. There's one? big caveat, though - the price. Fletching Rune Darts from 81, Amethyst Darts from 90, and Dragon Darts from 95 will cost north of 200 million GP, a truly miserable price to pay for one of the fastest 99s in the game.

Most players who max out Fletching probably do so in a more long-winded way, saving themselves a ton of GP in the process. That said, it remains one of the most expensive skills in Old School RuneScape when using the best method.

Herblore

Old School RuneScape Herblore
Screenshot by Destructoid

If you're doing it fast, at no point is Herblore a cheap skill to train in Old School RuneScape. But at Level 81, when you gain the ability to make Saradomin Brews, it becomes farcically expensive. Most will likely do this method all the way to 99, spending an eye-watering 150 million GP along the way. That's around 60,000 Saradomin Brews in ??total.

As with any skill, Herblore has profitable options at the cost of XP per hour. Only you can decide?? how much the time is worth to you.

Prayer

Old School RuneScape Prayer
Screenshot by Destructoid

Anyone remotely familiar with the skills in Old School RuneScape won't be surprised to see Prayer make this list. It's a skill you just don't get anything back from,? making every action you take a money sink. Worse still, it massively rewards you for using more expensive materials. You want to use lit Gilded ??Altars in a player-owned home here, offering a full inventory of Dragon Bones or Superior Dragon Bones each time.

Using Superior Dragon Bones, you can spend upwards of 50 million GP per hour. Yes, the? XP?? is absurdly fast, but you'll be left in dire financial straits afterward.

Ranged

Old School RuneScape Ranged
Screenshot by Destructoid

Ranged is one of the most useful 99s to have in Old School RuneScape. The fastest way to get ?there is by using Black Chinchompas on Maniacal Monkeys (after starting Monkey Madness II). This can earn you about 900,000 XP per hour, making it a ludicrously? quick training method.

However, throwing those Black Chinchompas will see you spen??d around 30 million GP when all is said and done. That doesn't include the cost of buying solid Ranged gear either, which is an investment that you can at least recoup.

Smithing

Old School RuneScape Smithing
Screenshot by Destructoid

20 million GP is the approximate cost to reach Level 99 Smithing by smelting Gold Bars at the Blast Furnace. It's not the fastest skill in Old School RuneScape, but that's t??he price if you wan?t to speed it up a little.

Unfortunately, anything other than this method take??s a painfully long time to hit 99, so it's? probably best to swallow the cost in this instance.

The Artisan’s Touch is a Crafting Deviation, meaning it hangs out at your base in Once Human and doesn’t accompany you into battle. It’s one of the more useful Deviations because it enables you to craft the All-Purpose Hand.?? So, let’s get to tracking it down.

Artisan’s Touch drop locations in Once Human

The Artisan’s Touch can’t be found floating around in interactive Palworld-esque bubbles like many of the other Deviations in the game. Instead, it has a chance to drop as loot after defeating the elite Scorcher or Weather Forecast Deviants in Once Human.

It can take several attempts, in the 8-10 range, before the Artis??an’s Tou?ch drops. Rather than traveling around to the different locations, it’s faster to log out of the game (in a safe spot!), wait for a few minutes, and then log back in. The target Deviant will have respawned.

Also, in many of these areas, there are one or two other elite Deviants wandering around, so be wary. Par?ticularly in the Blackfell Fal??len Zone, if you venture there too early, there’s a high chance to be killed. Lots of mobs are skulking about, many of them hard to spot or aggroing from a distance, so it’s easy to get overrun if you’re not fully paying attention.

Location Enemy Zone Rec Level Coordinates
Hearst Industries Scorcher Broken Delta Level 11 6075, -6099

Eastern Railway Junction Scorcher x 2 Broken Delta Level 14 4471, -5274

Greywater Industrial Zone Scorcher Iron River Level 23 4829, -3081

Evergreen Weather Forecast Red Sands Level 42 4372, -2494

Blackfell Fallen Zone Weather Forecast Red Sands 45 4250, -1280

Fighting the Scorcher Deviant in Once Human

The Scorcher can cause a lot of damage if you let its flame attacks hit you, but the real danger comes when you’ve “killedit. Its flame head detaches and begins moving independently, so you may wind up fighting both the Scorcher body and its head at the same time. Keep your distance, ?attack ??from a height if possible, and you should be okay.

I died in about five stunned seconds the first time I encountered this creepy elite. It’s one of the cooler enemies in Once Human but has a lot of health and can bring a tough fight. The key is to keep your distance and mow it down, preferably with a stun or DOT weapon, as quickly as possible. It constantly floats towards you and,? once close enough, summons a storm with projectiles that can wipe you out quickly.

In Evergreen, you can climb onto the roofs of the buildings surrounding the cul de sac where the Weather Forecast lurks. In Blackfell Fallen Zone, the fight arena is?? a large rooftop, so you should be able to stay at range.

The super rare Artisan’s Touch Deviation, once set up in a Securement Unit, will begin to produce Multi-Tools. It likes to be near a furnace and needs 10??W of power for max efficiency. Once you have 40 Multi-Tools and some other mats, you’ll be able to craft an All-Purpose Hand at a Supplies Workben?ch.

This single-use tool will instantly repair the piece of gear in your inventory with the lowest dura??bility. It must be an item that you’ve crafted, not one you’ve foun??d.

I always had mixed feelings about the original New World. I first played it when it launched in 2021 and got to experience the full mix of genuinely enjoyable gameplay, questi?onable server issues, and quests that repeated the same few objectives throughout most of my playthrough. Even with all that said, I still dedicated over 400 hours to i??t, and I enjoyed the pace change from more traditional MMOs.

Fast forward to 2024, Amazon Games announced a rerelease for this moderately successful MMO named New World: Aeternum. Since I'd been away from the community for a while, I had no idea what?? to expect going into it, and I'll admit to feeling some slight pessimism initially. None?theless, I looked forward to accepting and hopping into the Open Beta's early access weekend.

//www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BqDhFIjNfQ

Fortunately, while it had a couple of mishaps here and there, New World: Aeternum did a great job at adding refreshing and interesting changes without turnin??g it ?into a messy mish-mash of random features. I'll admit it: I'm hooked again, even if this revamped version has its ups and downs.

I was even more pleasantly surprised when I learned that this is a free, fresh-start rerelease for anyone who already owns New World. While it seems mostly intended for those with the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion, anyone with the base game will also see a good chunk of Aeternum's changes. At the very least, I was happy to hear that, outside of losing our original characters and servers, we would all get the chance to experience New World: Aeternum regardless of whether we had the expansion. Despite some pessimism at first, this was a positive thought ??I kept in?? mind as I was playing the open beta.

A rough start

I won't harp on my first few minutes of tackling New World: Aeternum's servers too much, especially since this was a beta test, but I still felt it was worth mentioning as someone who has firsthand experience with New World 1.0's launch. While I didn't encounter long queues or crashes like in the latter, minor error hiccups occurred, with a real possibility of them resurfacing later. Admittedly, this much is par for the course for live-service game launches and is ultimately up to personal discretion, but the parallels it drew to New World's 2021 launch lingered in my mind for some time.

That is until I finally entered the g??ame and immediately experienced some new changes within the first few minutes. Any bad taste in my mouth at that point vanished instantly in favor of curiosity and intrigue. Wanting to see what other new features I'd discover, I dove in eagerly and forgot about my initial sour attitude going into this. Instead, it was replaced with fascination and optimism, albeit some skepticism that lingered even a couple of hours into my playthrough.

A few changes make all the difference

New World: Aeternum starts us off in a familiar setting, introducing us to Father Russo, Captain Thorpe, and crewmates on a pirate ship before diving into the game's character creator. Immediately, I recognize two massive changes: the polish of New World's new cutscenes and the revamped character menu. Rather than just designing your appearance and figuring out your weapons later, the game introduces you to archetypes, which are basically traditional character classes that impact your? starting stats, weapons, and armor. Afterwards, you go into appearance and name-changing as usual.

I've always liked having a character class in games, especially MMOs, even if New World's original open-ended approach was more interesting to start. Since archetypes affect both your weapons and trade skills, giving you a 50-level boost to various skills, I'm left feeling curious about how it'll impact early and mid-game? skilling, particularly once the trading post gets invo??lved.

Image via Amazon Games

From this point onward, my optimism grew, and I suddenly felt genuinely eager to keep playing to see what other changes there were. By this moment, I had the game open for about ten minutes, and five of those were figuring out a weird server bug. Since I used a sword and shield during my first playthrough of New World, I entered New World: Aeternum as a ranger, giving my character a bow and spear to spice things up. There's a musketeer option, too, but I never really liked the feel of guns in the original and wanted?? to stick to something more familiar.

My unexpected feelings of intrigue and curiosity continued as I witnessed more of the game's cutscenes and, later, the tutorial. Although my memories of the original New World's tutorial were a little foggy due to how long it's been since I've seen this, I immediately recognized the stark contrast in the setup, our prot??agonist's background, and the sequence of events that happen in it. We're no longer just a random person who stumbled into a corrupted plane of existence and were forced to fight random enemies for reasons we'd barely pay attention to.

Instead, New World: Aeternum lays everything out through fascinating storytelling, a plot that actually makes sense, and surprisingly entertaining cutscenes that I enjoyed from beginning to end. We are a pirate who was part of the ship's crew, with Father Russo and Captain Thorpe's situations laid out in detail in front of us. I won't spoil what happens, but let's just say it makes more sense than whatever happened in the original New World. Even the tutorial and your usual ol' learning of the game's controls make sense now as you actively fight against the now-corrupted crew and have to f?ight your way out of the mess before your character dies.

Every change that New World: Aeternum introduces builds itself up to be a worthwhile successor to its original form even within its first few minutes. These feelings flourished as I played the game and noticed major and subtle quality-of-life changes, character interaction changes, and quest tweaks that made New World feel alive and refreshing. As time went on, though, I noticed that while there were plenty of difference??s, ??there were just as many similarities that were difficult to miss.

Something feels a little familiar

After leaving the vastly improved tutorial that shocked me beyond belief, I finally entered New World's main map. From the get-go, I was expecting a completely different game from what I experienced over two years ago. Instead, there were numerous similarities, and I noticed this almost immediately. Sure, the quest themselves are different, and there's enough changes that I wouldn't call New World: Aeternum identical to its original. Nonetheless, I wouldn't quite call it a day-and-night difference between the two ve??rsions.

One of the first places I checked was my weapons and skills. After all, I eventually got pretty involved in fine-tuning my builds so I could get more involved in expeditions in the original. Although I didn't expect a complete revamp, I wasn't anticipating the skil??ls and buffs to be almost identical. I don't mind this, as that means I won't have to use too much brain power to come up with completely new builds from scratch, but I was hoping there'd be a few noteworthy changes.

The map and area names are also quite similar, with some level differences and quest-specific changes, as is the general mission structure. I've always enjoyed New World's quests despite most of them telling you to kill enemies and find items, and New World: Aeternum is no different. There's just something about seeing how your actions directly impact the world around you and the liveliness of the character's interactions with you that make generic quests feel worthwhile. You may not get vastly different mission structures in Aeternum, but ??you will get more interesting versions of what already existed.

New World Aeternum combat
Image via Amazon Games

The last main similarity I noticed immediately is the combat. While New World: Aeternum's feels much more polished and fluid than in its predecessor, it's still the same at its core. Trust ??me, I'm happy that I won't have to learn a completely new fighting style, but there are certainly opportunities to add some flair to combat, enemy types, and even basic movement that you won't see in this new version. The enemies themselves are also mostly the same, aside from some quest-related bosses.

Unfortunately, I didn't quite find an opportunity to try out PvP during this part of the open beta, but I'm definitely looking forward to it in the future. I had a whole basket of issues with it in the original version of New World, but with how much?? smoother combat feels now, I'm optimistic that there's been some noticeable improvement.

Despite these similarities, there are a bunch of changes that make New World: Aeternum interesting. NPC dialogue was completely reworked, several new quests feature some pretty fun objectives and boss battles, and most of the characters actually serve a purpose beyond just spouting exposition and dialogue that goes in one ear and out the other. There are enough changes in Aeternum to make the experie??nce feel fresh and exciting while still staying ??familiar enough that someone who hasn't played for a while can get back into the swing of things without getting overwhelmed.

The world is old, but the experience is new

Although this might sound like I got bored or disinterested in Aeternum quickly, I still managed to fly through a good chunk of the open beta's content without even thinking about the time. If New World: Aeternum is so similar? to the original, why was I able to play so much of it again without f??eeling bored?

Surprise. This feeling of surprise over witnessing how different yet familiar New World: Aeternum feels and how these changes are enough to revitalize my desire to replay it all over again. The original New World served as a valuable lesson for Amazon Games, and Aeternum's changes reflect this in every way.

New World: Aeternum also seems to be geared towards a few specific audiences. If you were on the fence about the original, Aeternum might be just what you need to try this game out. If you already enjoyed New World but just got a little tired of it, there's enough new content to enjoy that'll make the experience feel fresh. For anyone looking for a direct sequel, though, you won't find that here, and that's completely okay. If you're me, you'll feel overall content with the direction Aeternum is mov?ing toward but still step forward cautiously in case the late-game experience goes awry or ??any drastic changes occur later down the line.

New World: Aeternum's open beta will run from September 13 to 16 on Xbox Series X/S, PS??5, and PC via Steam. Its full release is planned for ??October 15, 2024.

The six Securement Silos are a quick and relatively easy way to get loot in Once Human. In the Red Sands zone, you’ll find Securement Silo ?Theta, a level 45 dungeon with a secret area, a puzzle, and an extra boss.

How to reach the puzzle room in Securement Silo Theta

The Silo is filled with the standard Deviations you’ll have been mowing down for hours now??. After navigating through a few branching corridors that all lead to the same location, you’ll end up in a room with two exits. The one on the left, filled with black sludge and red barrels, leads to the end boss. The doorway to the right, directly in front of where you entered, leads to the optional second boss, so head that way.

In this room, there’s a statue illuminated by a lamp. Hit F to rotate it and warp into the Seepage Zone. Continue down the long tunnel, where you’ll find a ladder at the end that leads to a large room with six statues. In between them, reflected in the water, is one of Once Human's giant Deviations, but it's not ac??tually in the room. You’ll need to solve the puzzle to help the boss cross over so you can take it out.

Solving the puzzle in Once Human’s Securement Silo Theta

The solution to the puzzle in Silo Theta is straightforward once you understand what to do. Like the statue at the entrance to the Seepage Zone, these all have “Rotateprompts. Turn each statue so that it matches its reflection in the water.

This will summon the giant Deviation into the room with you. This boss has a glowing blue bump on one of its legs, clearly a weak point. Shoot the lump to stun the creature, then let loose on its bul?bous head. That task handled, head back up the ladder and to the statue at the entrance. Rotate it again to return to the real world, where it’s time to take out the main boss in Containment Silo Theta.

The final fight is a little tougher, as this Once Human boss summons adds. Use the pillars for cover and your Deviant to draw aggro. A couple of explosive barrels in?? the room will deal some extra damage to the boss. Now, with everything killed and looted, zone back out into Nalcott with your haul of goodies.

If you're an Old School RuneScape player, it can be hard to make money at times. The game has so many different things to do that it can be har?d to determine what's worth the time.

For most players, training skills will be the most efficient way to earn GP, although there are specific methods you should use to maximize the size of your cash pile. After all, if you make money as fast as possible, you can invest this GP into reducing the pain from the grindiest skills in Old School RuneScape.

For many years, Agility was considered among the worst GP per hour in Old School RuneScape. However, the addition of the Hallowed Sepulchre minigame back?? in 2020 changed everything, turning the skill into not just a great money-maker, but a much quicker way to earn XP, too. By doing Hallowed Sepulchre runs, players can loot coffins across several floors for an estimated 2 million GP per hour. It's very click-intensive, but the rewards are well worth ?the effort.

Farming

Farming isn't a skill that will transform you from rags to riches overnight, but if you stay consistent with it, you'll make a ton of GP over time. More specifically, you should focus on farming herbs like Snapdragon or Ranarr Weeds, although Avantoe, Torstol, and Cadantine can also work. A herb run should take you around five minutes to complete, with each yielding a profit of around 250,000 to 300,000, depending on the herb. This doesn't seem like a lot in isolation, but considering how little of a time commitment it is, it makes Farming one of the most profitable skills in Old School RuneScape.

Hunter

If you're looking for something that doesn't require your full attention at all times, Hunter could be the skill for you. By hunting Black Chinchompas, you can make a cool 1 million GP per hour, while Moonlight Antelope??s will net you in the realm of 1.2 million per hour. The Black Chinchompas have lower-level requirements, but both are valid ways to make solid ??GP.

Magic

At Level 78 Magic, you unlock the Tan Leather spell, where the real money begins. You can tan Dragonhide for an approximate 1.1 million per hour GP rate. If done from 78 all the way to 99, you can expect to earn upwards of 100 million GP, which you can invest into maxing some of Old School RuneScape's most exp??ensive skills. At Level 90 and above (combined wi?th the other combat skills), you can also fight The Whisperer, a tough boss especially weak to Magic. Loot from this fight will earn around 4.5 million GP an hour, although high requirements all around means most won't take this route.

Runecrafting

Old School RuneScape features many different ways to make money via Runecrafting. Crafting Wrath Runes in around 3.2 million GP per hour, albeit with a high Level 95 require??ment. We recommend crafting Blood Runes, which needs just 77 Runecrafting for a gain of 2.8 million GP an hour. The only con to Runecrafting is that you can't AFK it at all, so anything less than full attention will diminish these GP rates massively.

Slayer

It should be pretty obvious why Slayer makes this list, right? As you grind away at your set tasks, you'll receive a bunch of drops from your monster kills, which is bound to make you a ton of profit on the road to 99. As you reach a higher Slayer level and get assigned better?? tasks, your GP per hour will only increase, especially if you use Sl??ayer Points to ban some of the worse tasks from being handed out.

Smithing

There is really only one Smithing method that yields good money in Old School RuneScape. By headi?ng to the Blast Furnace and smelting Runite Bars, you should make over 2 million GP per hour. This assumes you make about 200 trips per hour, which is possible if you're vigilant about your clicks. Even going semi-AFK here can still produce good amounts of GP, though, so don't worry if you want to put something else on a second monitor while you do this method.

Thieving

You have two great options when it comes to making money via Thieving. Choose between pickpocketing Vyres and Elves - both will earn you above 4 million GP per hour, although Vyres do require you to have completed the Sin??s of the Father quest, so bear that in mind. Combine this with the Shadow Veil spell (which reduces your chance of being stunn?ed while failing a pickpocket) for even higher GP rates. With Thieving, you'll make more money the higher your Level, so this money-maker might be best saved until you're at 95 and above.

While the current Once Human PvE scenario is called "Manibus," many players don’t realize that we actually fight the Manibus in Phase 5 of the season. And if, like me, you haven’t paid close attention to the game’s story, you may stumble upon the encounter and decide to try your hand at it without fully understanding what’s happening. So, how exactly do you beat the Manibus in Once Human?

What is the Manibus in Once Human?

The Manibus is not the weird, legged bus that can be found traipsing around the world what many of us probably assume when we first start playing. The Manibus in Once Human is an Old One or Great One that has “ripped through the heavens, thrusting its tentacles down through the clouds./p>

It manifests in the game as a glowing pink sky, swirling with storm clo??uds as three giant tentacles wave around, each with a single hand at the end.

You don’t need to get right under the Manibus to fight it, and remaining in the vicinity exposes you to constant Stardust Pollution that, towards the end of the fight, grows so strong that your health bar will always be? nearly em??pty.

Note: Malt or Corn Ale created with Pure Water in the Brewing Barrel will grant the Clearminded perk to prevent Sanity loss.

The Manibus in Once Human can do melee damage if you get too close. It will also per?iodically shoot out a barrage of purple heat-seeking orbs that, even at level 50, nearly killed me. It’s better to keep a safe distance with a stur??dy obstacle to duck behind when necessary.

I set up shop behind a giant rock so that the orbs?? couldn’t hit me as long as I stay??ed crouched. And if you’re far enough away or out of reach on a rooftop, other enemies won’t constantly be mucking up your routine, so you won’t have to move for the duration of the fight.

What are the Manibusweak spots?

Shooting anywhere along t?he tentacles will deal damage to the Manibus, but you might notice that there are clusters of purple flowers around the wrist of each tentacle arm. These open and close and, when open, are the Manibusweak spot. I found it incredibly useful to equip my sniper rifle and, since I was safely sheltered, I could stay zoomed in and peacefully plink away at the flowers.

Two Phases to the Manibus fight

When you first begin the encounter?, the quest log will instruct you to “Defeat 1 tentacle of Manibus. And after you whittle its health down, the tentacle retreats into the pink cloud and disappears, so you might think everything’s over. After a brief lull, however, you’ll get a new directive: “Defeat all tentacles of Manibus.Take out the two remaining tentacles the same way you did the first.

Once you’ve beat the Manibus, you might also have completed one of the Season Goals, which requires you to deal 2 million damage to Manibus to earn 80 Mitsuko’s Ma?rks. A chest will appear in your inventory as well, full of the usual goodies: Energy Links, a mod or two, and maybe a blueprint.

Defeating the Manibus contributes to your server’s progress in the Prime War, an event that will net all players 7,500 Starchrom total. What’s most notable about this Phase is that it’s the second to the last before the season closes. So you may want to take a few minutes to learn just what happens when a season ends in Once Human and the preparations you should make.

Dragonflight may be over, but one of its best features - customizable mounts - remains. This time, there's jus??t one mount to customize: the Delver's Dir?igible.

What's a dirigible? I think it's just an...old-timey flying machine? I mean, it sure looks like one. Here's how to get it.

Complete Chapter 1 of the War Within Campaign

First, you'll need to complete the entire first chapter of the campaign, which takes you through each of the expansion's zones, introducing you to ?new allies and races along the way. This is probably a given if you're, you know, playing the expansion.

Finishing the campaign will lead you back to Dornogal, where you'll pick up chapter 2 after reaching Renown level 4 with each faction.

Begin Chapter 2, and accept the 'Bountiful Delves' quest from Brann

A few short steps into the campaign's second chapter, you'll be shown around to various stations in Dornogal that pertain to? the endgame, suc?h as item upgrade vendors and the Delver's headquarters. The quest Bountiful Delves appears as a purple exclamation mark above Brann during this step, and you'll need to accept (and complete) it for the mount.

This quest requires you to get your hands on a Restored Coffer Key and complete a Bountiful Delve on any difficulty. You actually don't need to use the key in the Delve (which is helpful if you, like me, blew all yours during early access) to complete the quest, you only ha?ve to get your hands on one.

With those steps done, return to Brann and turn in your quest to get another one, w?hich only has one step: receive your new mount. Congratulations!
