As long as you have the necessary equipment, the MW3 Rewind event should?? be a breeze. Any Multiplayer mode, such as All the Shipments 24/7, Mutation, and Small Map Mosh Pit, will help you complete its challenges and earn rewards. Each gift ties into a past celebration, invoking a sense of nostalgia and connection to the game's history. In particular, the Side-Scroller Ca??lling Card derives from the Retro Warfare event, while the Sunset Armageddon Camo takes inspiration from the High Trip event.

Those who complete all 14 challenges earn their right to the latest Operator skins, Batch Test and Balloon Test (Jabber). Based on the design, these skins seem to correlate to the handy Jak Aftermarket Parts. Whether you're on MW3 Multiplayer, Warzone, or Zombies, you'll notice Candy dropped from enemy Operators. Pick them up to gradually fill the meters across the event's various sections. Track how much Candy you've earned from each match via the left side of your screen. If you want to earn Candy fast, I suggest playing Zombies mode for easy farming.

The Event hub presents five sections for you to fill up. You'll need to complete the first one to unlock the following tier, then continue on with the rest afterward. However, the ??King Si??zed Treat jar proves the most challenging, as it requires the most Candy out of all of them. The main thing you need to shoot for is the Blood Red Riding Hood Operator skin, which costs a whopping 1,000,000 Candies. That'll undoubtedly take you a while to accomplish with its substantial amount. On the bright side, you can earn additional Candy using the Sam or Sam Unmasked Operator Skins. Purchase this bundle for 2,400 COD Points, translating to ??$19.99.

Fortunately, anything you've earned from the previous sections counts toward the King Sized Treat. The skin changes the appearance of the Banshee Operator, giving it that classic red riding hood look. Be sure to earn it before the Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Trick r' Treat: Candy Hunt event ends on?? Oct. 1??6, 2024. Don't let this opportunity slip away!

How do you unlock the Gore Cannon blueprint in Warzone and MW3?

You can get the Gore Cannon blueprint by reaching Torment Level 5 and surviving for five minutes in Warzone's Purgatory Island mode. Jump into this new Season 6 match and ?kill en??emy Operators to increase your level. Every time you get an elimination, you'll notice that the skull meter on the left will gradually fill up.

Sounds simple enough to do, but the ??only problem is the target placed on your back. Higher Torment Levels make it easier for enemies to spot you, marking you as red when someone's nearby. If y?ou're on a team, keep close to them so they can at least revive you if things go south.

Most players have found using the Juggernaut helpful for this task. Purchase it at a Buy Station for 40,000 cash, or take your chances with looting. Prison i?s the best place to use the Juggernaut perk, given that it's at the center of the map for easier kills. You can also shoot down Mercenaries (bots) there to boost your level further.

After you've earned your way to Torment Level 5, you'll have to survive for five minutes in Warzone Purga?tory Island. Almost everyone on the map will know where you are, increasing the challenge even more. To survive longer, you can either jump into a helicopter or run around the map's edges. Stick with a team as much as you can (if you have one), and you should receive a notification for the secret challenge.

As a sandbox mode, you can exit the game without the stress of losing any gear. As a result, you can now equip the Gore Cannon blueprint in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. You can get the Reflect 115 camo in MW3 and Warzone by pre-ordering the Digital Edition of Black Ops 6. Once the purchase goes through, look for the cosmetic in the COD ??HQ's Special Camos section. It'll then ??change your weapon's look with a bright blue and mirror-like design.

The camo pack also offers three bundles of Legendary Aether Tools, Flawless Aetherium Crystals, and Ray Gun Weapon Cases. Equip them in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies to upgrade your equipment and ?wreak havoc in the Threat Level zones.

Keep in mind that the Reflect 115 camo and Zombies tools will not transfer to Black Ops 6. Even more so, any other MW3 premium content will no longer be accessible in your BO6 arsenal. If you're a scary movie nut, you'll undoubtedly recognize a bunch of familiar faces from The Haunting event sneak peek. We see the man who has brought on many nightmares for me: Halloween's Michael Mye??rs. In true horror fashion, you'll need to escape from his clutches, amongst ma?ny others, while you try to save helpless victims.

You may notice other scary movie nods throughout the trailer, including Sam from Trick 'r Treat, a frightening reference to Smile, and Terrifier's Art the Clown. There are undoubtedly more characters mixed in there, li??kely bringing more Operator skins to sink your teeth into??.

Even if you aren't too keen on horror, a few classic Call of Duty characters are thrown in for good measure. One, in particular, is a grotesque alien-like version of Simon "Ghost" Riley. It seems like he can never stay as himself these days, considering the man?y different variations he's gotten in recent years.

And, of course, we can't forget about the undead stars of the show, aka the zombie hordes. It just wouldn't be a Haunting event without them, especially after Modern Warfare 2's challenging Zombie Royale mode.

As for what we can expect for this 2024 iteration, it'll likely unleash some frightfully good modes to try. In the past, we've seen games like the Soul Capture Event, where players collect souls and battle monsters. Based on what was shown in the latest trailer, things could turn out the same. My best guess is that it's set in a completely enclosed area riddled with horrific beings. Sounds like it has a Dead by Daylight-esque spin to it, so we'll have to see ??what happe?ns next.

I know it may be a bit of a surprise to hear about a new MW3 update with all the shenanigans that went on with the Black Ops 6 beta. But we have to remember that Modern Warfare 3 will continue to hold down the fort before BO6's official debut (I'll miss you, Omnimovement). Fortunately, MW3 and Warzone's The Haunting Season 6 event will keep us on our toes unt??il then.

In Modern Warfare 3, an Operator's showcase allows you to display your triumphant achievements with one-of-a-kind Calling Cards and Emblems. Unlike most Call of Duty features, this mechanic is a hidden gem in the various settings. So, if you're not sure where to find it, we'll guide you on how to edit a showcase in Modern Warfare 3.

How do you edit your showcase in MW3?

To find the 'Edit Showcase' feature in MW3, open the settings section at the top right corner of the CoD Hub.

Head to the tab with the emblem, next to Settings, where you'll find the option to personalize your showcase. Once open, you can tailor the display ??of your Operator, Weapon, Calling Card, Emblem, and Clan Tag to your liking.

Not all content will be available, as some skins and cosmetics require a purchase or completed objective. For example, you must earn enough Operator Kills or win matches to earn the seasonal Prestige Mastery Car?ds.

Display up to three Calling Cards in the showcase to cover your favorite achievements. However, once they are placed down, these cards cannot be manu?ally removed from the slots. The only way to get rid of them is by swapping it out with another available Calling Card.

You can further tweak your Operator display via the Customize tab. You'll find this hub in MW3 Zombies or Multiplayer, providing access to purchased bun??dles, vehicles, loading screens, and music. Calling Cards, Emblems, and Clan Tags can also be personalized here for quick and ea?sy access.

If you've been exploring Modern Warfare 3's Multiplayer maps, you may have stumbled upon the adorableness of the rubber du??ck collection. Although they are primarily just for show, Sle?dgehammer Games has hinted at a new Easter Egg, spawning a colossal-sized rubber duck for the world to see.

In the post, Sledgehammer Games offers a few hints, including the phrase, "Two foes meet where photo frame a win." Call of Duty players were quick to decipher the puzzle, pointing toward the display in MW3 Season 5's Bait map. It wasn't long until they? discovered the giant duck Easter Egg, as it spawns ?in the ocean nearby.

Even though it's pretty easy to spot the photo frame display, a few other requirements are still needed. YouTuber DANNYonPC was one of the first to discover this, where they utilized the Operators Captain Price and Makarov. Considering their tumultuous history, the two characters correlate to the "two foes" hint mentioned earlier. You can then set yourself up for a picture-like shot by putting their faces inside the holes of the f?rame display, thus spawning little ducks to shoot.

I never thought I would see Price and Makarov interact in such a friendly way, but it sure is a welcome sur??prise. And it gets even better when the big boy appears in the ocean to commemorate this unlikely duo. However, if you want to do it yourself (with another player), your team must quickly shoot the smaller ducks near the photo display to uncover the Easter Egg.

MW3 Melee Backstab Kills, explained

Melee Backstab Kills are eliminations that must be performed behind an enemy Operator using a Melee-based weapon. Regular guns won't work with this tactic; therefore, you must use tools like Karambit, Gutter Knife, or Sledgehammer.

Performing the Melee Backstab Kills without the proper preparations will be challenging. To help you through this, use Tactical Equipment such as Stun and Smoke Grenades. Cast out this equ??ipment in battl??e and try to sneak up behind the enemy while they're in a vulnerable state.

To be extra sly, utilize Covert Sneakers or Dead Silence to remove an Operator's footstep sounds. This will make it easier for you to sneak up on the enemy without being detected. Without these items, you'll be pretty easy to spot, as running can get the attention of enemy Operators.

Use small maps to earn the Melee Backstab Kills in Modern Warfare 3 quickly. I like going into Shipme??nt for this since everyone tends to get caught in the chaos from its compact size. Then, when the opponent is preoccupied with someone else, you can sneak your way in for the elimination.

Completing this task earns you various rewards, depending on the season. For example, Season 5 Reloaded's?? Spear requires player??s to get three Melee Backstab or Special Zombie Kills. It also comes up a lot in Weekly Challenges, so keep it in mind for future references. Modern Warfare 3 Zombies' epic conclusion kicks off in Season 5 Reloaded. As you may expect, it'll be relatively tricky to handle with the increasing brutality of the zombies and a formidable boss. So, to better prepare you for the fight, we'll show you how to complete the Ascension Act 4 Story Mission in MW3 Zombies.

MW3 Zombies Ascension Story Mission guide

Before you begin the Ascension Story Mission in MW3 Zombies, you should start preparing with Pack-A-Punch weapons and Perk-A-Colas. The zombies inside the new rift will be at a Tier 2 threat level, so you don't need to PAP your weapon to Level 3. However,?? the gun shoul??d at least have a Rare or Epic rarity equipped to it.

It's possible to do this mission solo, but if you find yourself overwhelmed, try to go in with a team. Then, ??travel to the High Threat Level zone to locate the marker for the Ascension Story Mission.

Find a way to weaken the entity and cleanse the relics

For the first task, travel to the area with the yellow glowing beam. Use the illuminated crystal points to fly to higher places. If you don't see any n??earby, shoot the red crystals to trigger their appearance.

Once you've arrived at the beam, collect the four relics around it; these will be the same Easter Egg items you may have obtained ?prior. Keep looking around the area with a circular yellow radius on the ??map. The Relic's locations may vary, but I suggest looking around the trains first.

Use the four Relics to activate the cleanse shortly after. Now, start killing the zombies surrounding Dr. Jansen and wait ??for her to charge up. You'll do this process twice, so repeat these steps to complete this part of the quest. Those who find themselves lost can look out for the markers on the map to pinpoint the next destination.

Ascend the Tower to reach the Entity

To confront the Entity in MW3 Zombies Ascension Story Mission, use the glowing crystals and floating vehicles to reach the highest point. It might get confusing here, as it was for me, but try to see which way the cars go first and then jump on top of it. The key here is to follow the yellow star markers ??on the map, and eventually, Dr. Jansen should tell you that you're going the right way.

MW3 Zombies Ascension Entity boss fight

The Ascension Entity boss battle presents two stages for you to tackle. The first one will be relatively easy to get through as you hit the glowing weak points of the enemy. Use the crystals to get closer to the Entity and steer clear of the other zombies roaming around. You should also watch o??ut for the boss' attacks, including a damaging beam of light and a ground strike (a red target appears).

After the Reward Rift appears, it's time for phase two. This time, the Entity utilizes an invulnerable state whe??re she'll be completely untouchable. Find Dr. Jansen with the star symbol and keep close to her. Start killing the zombies around her while she charges up. When Dr. Jansen's ready, attack the Entity's glowing weak spots. You'll have ??to repeat this technique a few times until the foe finally comes crashing down.

Claim your items in the Reward Rift and exit the area to complete the Ascension Act 4 Story Mission in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. You'll also gain The Entity Charm?? and +10,000 XP as a bonus.

When does Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 5 Reloaded come out?

According to the Call of Duty Blog, MW3 and Warzone Season 5 Reloaded will launch on August 21, 2024, at 9 a.m. PT/1 p.m. CT/2 p.m. ET.

Preloads for MW3 and Warzone Season 5 Reloaded will be available the day before or a few hours prior to launch. This convenient feature ensures that you can jump right into the action as soon as the update is live. It should be noted that the Season 5 Reloaded patch will be bigger than others. The Call of Duty Blog states that it's "the first big update" to gear up for Black Ops 6 Beta, so it'll differ from the small sizes of previous Relo??aded patches. Fortunately, those who download it will receive the?? following rewards:

• 10 1-Hour Double Player XP Tokens

Season 5 Reloaded introduces general changes to the game with file organization, Warzone default downloads, and new textures. You'll have several new Schematics to try out, including the highly anticipated Stash Increase. That means your inventory will be extended to 30, giving you a nice amount of space for your extra gear. Then, there's the Disciple Bottle, an item with the abi??lity to summon a friendly Disciple. The Grenade Band??olier is the last Schematic for the season, which automatically replenishes your Lethal and Tactical equipment gradually.

Warzone

Warzone Season 5 Reloaded features the return of Supreme Resurgence in Rebirth Island. Loot around?? this map to claim powerful weapon blueprints with camo designs. Those who win the first match ea??rn their right to the Spilled Beans Weapon Camo.

Look out for the new Elite Contracts for even more rewards. These tasks will be much more grueling than standard Contracts, as their? time limits will be reduced. Complete them to collect gifts, like Foresight Killstreak, Specialist Perk Package, and Advanced UAV.

Lastly, a Recon Flyover Public event for all modes begins in Season 5 Reloaded. Anyone who uses Advanced UAVs triggers a red arrow on another player, extending the range of the Killstreak. Use it to find and eliminate the opposin??g side for rewards. But, make sure to watch your back since they'll be utilizing the Advanced UAVs, too.
