Palworld developers Pocketpair has revealed finer details of the lawsuit filed against them by Pokemon-makers Nintendo, and it certainly doesn't look su??itable for the l?atter.

It has long been suspected that Nintendo could move to court against Pocketpair ever since Palworld was released for the first time. It finally happened ea??rlier this year, but the details of the legal proceedings have remained hidden ti??ll today. Based on what's been revealed by Pocketpair, they're facing charges of potential infringements of three patents. Surprisingly, all three patents in question appear to have been filed after the game's release.

Palworld makers Pocketpair face a stiff battle with Nintendo

As per Nintendo and The Pokemon Company, Pocketpair's Palworld has reportedly infringed upon three patents - 7545191, 7493117, and 7528390. The exact details of these patents and what they infringe upon remain unknown, although it??'s reported that The Pokemon Company hasn't taken the Pal Sphe??re system too kindly.

Interestingly, Palworld was released in early access on January 19. The three patents in question here were all filed between February and July and registered a few months later. This does raise a massive question mark over Nintendo's ultimate motives about the entire situation. It could well be that the patents were filed as a reaction to Palworld's huge success in the gaming world.

While players don't need to be alarmed immediately, Pocketpair has confirmed that Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are seeking about $10 million yen and an injunction against Palword. While the penalty (approximately $66,000) might not be huge, the injunction could be a ?worrying development.

Pocketpair h??????????????????????????as commented th??at they will continue to assert their position with future legal proceedings, so the next few months could be interesting. One would hope that this battle won't rob the players of the upcoming updates that have been planned for the game.

South Korean publisher Krafton has confirmed that it signed a licensing agreement with Palworld developer, Pocketpair. The agreement will see PUBG: Battlegrounds developer, PUBG Studios, bring Palworld to mobile devices for the first time.

Touted as "Pokemon with guns" by fans, Palworld was a surprise gargantuan success upon its Early Access launch earlier this year. Few, least of all Poc??ketpair, could have seen its eyewatering sales figures coming, as it stormed to the top of the charts on PC and Xbox consoles at the start of 2024.

Player counts have dropped in the months since, although a recent PlayStation 5 release has helped bring new fans into the fold. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company suing Pocketpair has also played a part in keeping Palworld in the news cycle of late.

Krafton confirmed Palworld's upcoming mobile port in a statement on its website, with its subsidiary PUBG Studios moving forward on the project. The announcement gave no release window for Palworld on Android and iOS, although it did confirm it "plans to faithfully reinterpret and implement the original’s ma?in fun elements to fit the mobile environment." Whether this results in any significant gameplay changes remains to be seen.

As part of the PlayStation State of Play stream, Pocketpair announced that Palwor??ld’s release date is right now! Or t?oday! I checked, it’s not up at this exact moment.

Palworld is that Pokemon with guns game. It’s an open-world survival title where you cut down trees and craft stuff. Nintendo is suing its developers for patent infringement. You know the one, right? It sold a kajillion copies b??ecause people can’t get enough of cutting down trees to craft an axe.

Th??e PlayStation r??elease was teased, but unless I’m not locked in, I don’t think we knew it was going to be released today. So that’s pretty cool if you haven’t played it elsewhere.

I don't know if I made this clear, but I didn't really dig Palworld. It had nothing to do with its astounding dearth of creativity but rather that, behind its creature enslavement and firepower, it's a rather boilerplate open-world survival games. Those are fun, in moderation. Their micro progression is insidiously addictive by design, and wh?en you get to the bottom of one, you real?ize you've been eating cotton candy for the past 20 hours: sweet and unsubstantial.

Just days after winning its $15 million dollar copyright lawsuit against a Chinese company behind a mobile game called Pocket Monster Reissue that seemed to blatantly use Pokemon characters, The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Pocketpair Inc., the developer of hit game Palworld that released earlier this year.

According to the press release by Nintendo, the joint patent infringement lawsuit was filed today, September 18, 2024, and seeks an injunction against infringement and compensation for damages on the grounds that Palworld infring?es multiple patent rights. The release also reiterates a statement provided by Nintendo earlier this year in which Nintendo indicated that it will continue to take necessary actions against any infringement of its intellectual property rights including the Nintendo brand itself, to protect the intellectual properties it has worked hard to establish over the years.

Palworld released in Early Access in January this year and sold over a million copies in just 8 hours. By the end of January Palworld had surpassed 19 million total players, becoming one of the fastest??-selling ??games on Steam of all time.

Following a recent article suggesting that Palworld developer Pocket?pair was assessing whether to make the game free-to-play or a game-as-a-service, the company released a statement saying that it's not. The game will remain a buy-to-play experience as it always has been.

The article in question appears to be an interview posted by ASCII.jp, which was then translated by Automaton. According to Pocketpair's statement on Twitter, this interview was conducted months ago. When the developer was assessing whether Palworld could go free-to-play or head down the game-as-a-service route. As of September 14, 2024, Pocketpair is ??firm in its decision that the game won't be moving to a new model because, as it stated, "We are very aware that this just isn't what our players want, and we always put our players first."

Invest in your Pals

Pocketpair's full statement on Twitter is definitel?y written to clear the air with fans. When the interview piece came out, and the translation began circulating, it caused quite a stir in the community. That's completely understandable because if you've paid for a game that then goes free-to-play, you'd expect some sort of compensation for the mo??ney you put into it.

The messaging here is precise. Palworld isn't a free-to-play game or a game as a service. It's a title you pay for once and enjoy as it is. It is, in many ways, like the Pokemon series, and t??he buy-to-play aspect is just another similarity to add to the list.

The point that really sticks out to me from the post is as follows. "Palworld was never designed wit??h that model in mind, and it would require too much work to adapt the game at this point. Additionally, we are very aware that this just isn't what our players wan??t, and we always put our players first."

Pocketpair hits the nail right on the head. Palworld wasn't ever designed to be anything but buy-to-play. Suddenly changing fundamental parts of the experience to make it fit a free-to-play or game as a service model would harm the core experience, and the developer cares too much about the enjoyment players g??et from the game to even contemplate doing that.

Something that might be changing in the future, as outlined in the same post, is skins. Xbox players have felt a little left out when it comes to skins because of the Twitch Drops skins PC players can get. While the priority for now is making Palworld the best game it can possibly be, this at least shows that Pocketpair is aware? of how fans feel and is considering options to?? find a solution.

The statement ends with, "We apologize for any concern this may have caused, and we hope this clarifies our position." This really does tie the whole matter up in a nice little bow. There's no room for error or suggestion. Palworld will remain a buy-to-play game, which I th??ink is the best ?way forward, considering that's how it started life.

Twitch’s Summer of Rewards is underway and during the event, you can get your hands on a whole slew of in-game rewards for a long list of games. If you’re wondering which games have drops, or how to ??get any specific items, I’ve got you covered.

Palworld has teamed up with Twitch as part of the Summer of Rewards event, offering three brand new Pal Skins for players on Steam. The??y’re bizarrely adorable cosmetics??, and they’re relatively easy to get, but only as long as you play through Steam. 

This is proving to be something of a sticking point for players who play Palworld on Xbox, and honestly, I can see why. I wouldn’t have known that these drops were exclusive to Steam players from Palworld’s social media posts alone, as it’s not explicitly stated anywhere. I only figured it out for myself when I was asked to link my Twitch and Steam accounts through the Palworld website. 

Comments on social media are filled with Xbox players noting the unfairness of the whole situation, and I can’t say I blame them. Many players are missing out on unique Pal Skins because they play on the "wrong" platform. These are the first Pal Skins to drop outside of the single existing one, Cattiva Sunglasses, which was added as part of the Sakurajima?? update, and they're not available to everybody.

Palworld isn’t the only game giving items away in the Summer of Rewards event. Many other games give in-game items in return for watching streamers play. However, as far as I can tell, Palworld is the only one limiting their dro?ps in this fashion. 

Cult of the Lamb, which is also part of the Summer of Rewards, is also giving exclusive items to Steam players, but there’s a huge difference: The items are only exclusive to the single platform for now. The Goat-themed items are being given to Steam ??players as a sort of Early Access and will be coming to p??layers on all other platforms at a later date. 

There have been no such reassurances from Pocketpair that players on any platform other than Steam can get the Pal Skins, and therein lies the problem. Here's hoping that Pal Skins, or any other potential future Twit?ch drops, are more inclus??ive of players.

How to get the Palworld Twitch Summer Drops Fest skins

Palworld is getting three skins during Twitch Summer Drops Fest. They're only available to users who own the game on PC and have a Steam account they can link to their Twitch account. To get these skins, you need to visit the official Palworld Twitch Drops page and link your accounts.

Once your account is li??nked, you need to watch a Twitch Drops-enabled stream at th??e times and dates outlined below to get these three incredibly exclusive skins.

• August 21st (Wed) 8 AM to August 27th (Tue) 5 PM (PDT): Golden Relaxaurus
• August 27th (Tue) 5 PM - September 3rd (Tue) 5 PM (PDT): Sailor Quivern
• September 3rd (Tue) 5 PM - September 10th (Tue) 5 PM (PDT): Summer Chillet

Once you've watched an eligible stream, your skins will be added to your Twitch Drops Inventory. This gives you a code to use in-game so you can actually unlock the skins. From there, all you have to do is visit the Pal Dressing Facility in-game and swap the skins directly on your favorite Pals. The new skins blend perfectly with the Sakurajima update, which added ?a massive new island, an Oil Rig location, and dozens of Pals to the world.

The islands that make up Palpagos are ripe for exploring when you jump into Palworld, with plenty of? places to see. From the endless Pals to the natural reso?urces that dot the land, you’ll have plenty to do.

You’re going to want to travel quickly when you’re adventuring across the land, which is why you’re going to need a fast mount??. Ground mounts are a great way to traverse Palpagos to get where you need to fast. We’ve got the fastest ground mounts and how you can get them right here.

Best ground mounts in Palworld

Here are the five fastest ground mounts in Palworld, and where you can find and catch them yourself:

Necromus

The fastest ground mount available in the entire game is none other than Necromus. This Pal not only makes for an incredible Pal to bring into combat, but is also the best ground mount due to its sprinting speed of 160??0.

If you want Necromus, you’re going to need to b?e ready for a tough fight, since the only way to get Necromus is by capturing the Level 50 Alph??a Pal that’s located in the northern tip of the Dessicated Desert. Use the Deep Sand Dunes Fast Travel point to get there quickly, and then head north of the small lake that’s directly west of the point.

Your best shot at bringing Necromus�health down is having a tough Dragon-type Pal to combat ?them, such as Jetragon or Jormuntide. This will exploit Necromus�weakness, as they’re? a Dark-type and weak to Dragon moves. 

Make sure to also bring a stronger sphere, like a Legendary Sphere or Ultimate Sphere so the Necromus doesn’t break free.

Frostallion

Another Legendary Pal?, Frostal??lion, is next on our list with a sprint speed of a whopping 1500. This icy horse not only makes for a great ground mount but is the best Ice-type Pal you can find for combat. You’ll definitely want to pick them up.

However, they’re also a Level 50 Alpha Pal, and will not be easy to catch. Head to the Astral Mountain?s and you can find Frostallion near the lake due west of the Land of Absolute Zero Fast Travel point.

As mentioned, Frostallion is one of the strongest Pals in the game, so you need to be ready for combat. Stock up on strong armor and bring a powerful Fire-type with you like Jormun??tide Ignis to have a chance. Catching Frostallion is worth the trouble, though.

Paladius

Paladius is like a sibling to Necromus, both being in suits of armor. However, Paladius is a bit slower as ?a ground mount. However, that’s not to say you won’t be pleased with Paladius, who ??has a sprinting speed of 1400. 

In fact, Paladius and Necromus a??re so close, that they spawn in the same location,? in the northern tip of the Dessicated Desert. You can use that same location to find the Paladius.

A great way to take down Paladius is to use their sibli?ng, Necromus, to fight ??them. They have near equal strength, but Necromus is a Dark-type which is strong against Neutral-types like Paladius. Attack them at nighttime when they’re asleep with your Necromus for the best results.

Rayhound

Next up is Rayhound, who luckily is nowhere near as difficult to catch, but isn’t too shabby in combat. Plus, you still get a great sprinting speed of 1380 ??when you catch a Rayhound without the difficult fight required for the Legendary Pals above. 

Rayhound can be found nearl??y anywhere on the southern half of the island of the Dessicated Desert. I used the Duneshelter Fast Travel point and headed south to find one quickly. 

Rayhound is an Electric-type, so you’ll want a solid Groun?d-type Pal to take them on and get their health down. A Pal like Menasting ??or Warsect is perfect for the job. While it’s not a Level 50 Legendary Alpha Pal, you’ll still need to be ready to put up a good fight to catch them.

Pyrin

Finally, we have Pyrin as the last of the fastest ground mounts you can find with a ??speed of 1300. This Pal’s usefulness mainly lies in being a good ground mount, and like Rayhound, ?it isn’t a tough Alpha Pal that can be a hassle to get.

Pyrins can be foun?d on the eastern? half of Mount Obsidian. I used the Foot of the Volcano Fast Travel point and headed up to find mine, but as long as you stay on the eastern side you can spot one. 

Bring a strong Water-type Pal to get Pyrin’s health low enough to throw your Pal Sphere. Relaxaurus or Azurobe are great Pals to fight Pyrin with, as they’re not too high in level for you to get but still great in combat. Azurobe is even one of the fastest water mounts you can get if you need to travel the seas.

Having a ground mount is a huge plus while scavenging the lands for more materials and?? resources, and even new Pals to c?atch and use. You’ll want to get one as soon as you can for the best experience.

There is a huge variety of Pals for you to get your hands on while you’re exploring Palpagos in Palworld. Each comes with their own abilities, work suitabil??ity, and strengths. Some are great for combat, while others are perfect for busy work on your base. 

Palpagos is a large land, so it’s natural that some Pals shine by being able to transport you quickly. Water travel is especially important since it can take you to all the different islands. If you’re looking for the fastest Pals for water travel,?? we’re here to show ??you.

The best swimming mount Pals in Palworld

H?ere are the top three fastest water mounts in P?alworld, and where you can find them:

Azurobe

If you’re looking for the fastest water mount available, look n?o further than Azurobe. This? Water and Dragon-type Pal offers you the quickest swimming speed when you’re traveling across the water, with a speed of 800.

To get Azurobe, travel to either the? lake to the west of the Bridge of The Twin Knights or No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary. I’d recommend the lake since the Ravine Entrance Fast Travel point will take you directly where you want to go. There will be a level 17 Alpha Azurobe you can battle here.

To bring its health down, use a strong Electric-type or Ice-type Pal. These will exploit Azurobe’s weaknesses. Throw a Pal Sphere to catch it, and you’ve got the quickest water mount available. They're perfect for when you don't have a flying mount but still need to cross the water.

Jormuntide

Jo?rmuntide is next on the list, with a solid swimming speed of 700. Something great about Jormuntide is that not only are they a great water mount, but they are also incredible when it comes to combat. 

Much li??ke Azurobe, Jormuntide is a Water and Dragon-type, so bring an Electric or Ice-type Pal to battle them. The best for the job is either Orserk or Grizzbolt, who both have devastating electrical attacks that are great for taking Jormuntide’s health down.

There are two spots you can find Jormuntide, and both are level 45 Alpha Pals. You can either go to the lake south of the Twilight Dunes, or the bones in the water that are on the western side of the Eastern Wild Island. Either one will let you find and capture ??this Pal.

Surfent

The last on our list is Surfent, who is a great swimming mount for those just starting off their journey in Palworld. This Pal has a swimmi??ng speed of 650, putting them just below Jo??rmuntide. However, they’re much easier to obtain.

You can find Surfent either at the river leading up to the Shoal Mineshaft just north of the Seabreeze Archipelago, or in the lake to the east of?? the Bamboo Groves. Both of these spots are??n’t difficult to get to, so you can find Surfent easily.

Surfent is a Water-type only and isn’t particularly strong when it comes to combat. This means so long as you bring a solid Electric-type Pal with you for combat, you won’t have too much ??trouble catching one. 

Surfent may be the slowest on this list, but they’ve got an edge over the other two in that you can obtain a Surfent early in the game??. You don’t need to fight a powerful Alpha variant ??of the Pal, and the saddle for this Pal unlocks at Technology level 10.

You can even keep it on your base when you've captured a faster m?ount. You’ll definite??ly want to get this Pal if you’re just kicking off your playthrough.

Sakurajima Summer is here for Palworld, giving players plenty of new content to dive into as ?they journey through Palpagos, building bases, defending themselves from raids, and catching Pals. The update brings plenty of stuff to the game, but most exciting of all is the new Pals.

One of these Pals is Kikit, a Ground-type who might not be very big, but they are quite interesting. If you’re on the hunt for Kikit, th?is is where you can find one and how to add them to your Paldeck.

Where to find Kikit in Palworld

Kikit can be found at two locations, both on the island of Sakurajima: the Northern Rock Field and the Southern Sandbar. Luckily, there are Fast Travel points at both of these locations, so as long as you’ve unlocked? them, they won’t be hard to get to.

Once you’re at either the Northern Rock Field or Southern Sandbar, ?Kikits can be found all around. They normally travel in groups of up to three, so you’ll have plenty of chances to get one.

You can find the exact location?s? where Kikits can be found, which are circled on the map below. 

How to catch Kikit in Sakurajima Update

You’ll need to use a Pal Sphere to catch your Kikit by throwing it at the Pal. Engage them in comba??t to bring their health down as low as possible before throwing it for the best catch rate. Make sure not to kill it, though.

Kikits are not the best comba??t Pals, ??so as long as you bring the type they're weak to, which is Grass-type Pals, you shouldn’t have too much trouble bringing one’s health down. Be aware that these Pals will roll away from you, too, so be fast. 

If you don’t feel like catching one out in the wild, you can also h??atch a Kikit fro??m a Rocky Egg if you have one.

Kikit Type, Work Suitability, and Base Stats

This little Pal is a Ground-type Pal, which is weak to Grass-types and strong against ?Electric-types. They only have one work suitability, Mining, of which they are only a level one. 

The base stats of Kikit are relatively low, unfortunately. They have a base? HP of 75, a base Attack of 70, and a base Defense of 90. This puts Kikit at a low combat tier and sadly a low base tier as well, since they only have one work suitability.

However, Kikits have a certain charm to them, an?d they still make good workers for your ??base. They’re also pretty cute.

One of the best parts of the Sakurajima Summer update for Palworld is the inclusion of new Pals to catch and add to your team. There is a wi??de range of new pocket monsters to find, and they include two ?of the best Pals you can find in the game.

Xenovader and Xenogard are these Pals, and s??ince they’re so useful in combat and at bases, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on them. Here’s how ?you can catch both Xenovader and Xenogard.

Where to find Xenovader and Xenogard

Xenogard and Xenovader don’t have any set spawn points �rather, they spawn at Meteorite Events only. Similar to Base Raids and Supply Drops, when a Meteorite Event occurs, you’ll get a notification and be given a point on your heads-up display poi??nting to where it’s happening. These can occur anywhere on the map.

You?? can see on the heads-up display below what this marker looks like. Head fo?r this point to find the Pals. You will either find a group of Xenovaders at the event, or if you’re lucky one large Xenogard will spawn.

Note that if the Meteorite Event is taking place on the island of Sakurajima, neither Xenovader nor Xenogard will spawn. You’ll get a Selyne instead. 

How to catch Xenovader and Xenogard

You can catch both of these space Pals by bringing their?? health down as low as you can before throwing a Pal Sphere at them. Both Xenovaders and Xenogards are incredibly tough, so bringing down their health won’t be easy.

For Xenovaders?, bring a powerful Dragon-type Pal to exploit their weaknesses. The best Pal to do this with is definitely Jetragon, who is the strongest Dragon-type Pal in the game. I highly recommend catchin??g one to fight Xenovaders.

Xenoga?rd is an incredibly strong Alpha Pal and is rarer the spawn than Xenovaders. However, only one will spawn per meteor event, so you’ll have less to fight. Xenogard, who is absolutely massive, is even harder to beat than Xenovade?r.

Bring your strongest Ice-type to beat Xen?ogard. The best Pal for this is Frostallion, since it’s one of the strongest Ice-types but also boosts Ice element damage??. If you don’t have Frostallion, Foxcicle is a good backup.

Make sure to also bring powerful Pal Spheres like Legendary Spheres or Ultimate Spheres to ensure that you catch the Pal when their health is low. You don??’t want to miss out on them.

Xenovader and Xenogard Type, Work Suitability, and Base Stats

Here are all the stats for both Xenovader and Xenoga?rd:

Both of these Pals are incredible when it comes to combat, and?? also quite hand on your bases. You definitely don’t want to forgo them, so make su?re to make it a priority to find them at Meteor Events and take them for your team.

There’s plenty of beautiful cherry blossom trees to see in the Sakurajima Summer update for Palworld. Not only have the beautiful pink trees be?en added, but plenty of new content is here as well, such as new technology, and new locations.

New Pals are part of the update as well, with the additions to th??e Paldeck giving players plenty more variety for their combat and bases. One of the Sakurajima Pals is Lullu, a lovely flower-esque Pal that’s got great work suitability. If you’re on the hunt for Lullu, we’re here to show you how to get them.

Where to find Lullu in Palworld

Lullu can only be found in the area surrounding the Dancing Sakura Shrine on Sakurajima. Along the Cherry Blossom Crossroads, just to the east of the shrin??e, is the best place to catch the Pal. If you have the Fast Trave?l point unlocked here, use it to travel there quickly. 

However, you can go to the south and find Lullu as well. Just make sure not to cross into the Southern Sandbar, or else you’ve gone too far. On the map?? belo?w, you can find Lullus in the circled areas.

How to catch Lullu in Sakurajima Update

To catch a Lullu after you’ve ??found one in the wild, you’ll need to throw a Pal Sphere at them. Make sure to bring their health down as low as you can for the best catch rate, by engaging them in combat.

Lullu isn’t a particularly strong combat Pal, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble bringing their health down to capture one. They have low combat abili?ties and base sta??ts, so simply bring your strongest Pal with you to get the job done. 

If you want to do it quickly, you can ??bring a Fire-type Pal with you to bring Lullu’s health down quicker. Lullu is a grass type, so any you come across will be weak to a Fire-type Pal. Pals like Blazamut or Faleris are perfect for this.

A Lullu can also be hatched from a Verdant Egg if you use an Egg Incubator. Eggs don’t guarantee a specific Pal though, s?o use this ??method at your own risk. 

Lullu Type, Work Suitability, and Base Stats

Lullu is a Grass-type Pal that’s weak to Fire-types and strong against Ground-types. This won?’t come too much in handy, though, as Lullu has pretty low stats and isn’t well-suited for combat. Th??e base stats for Lullu are an HP of 90, an Attack of 90, and a Defense of 80.

What Lullu lacks in combat ability is made up by their incredible usefulness when on your home base. This? is because of their multiple work suitabilities:

• Planting, Level 2
• Handiwork, Level 2
• Medicine, Level 2
• Gathering, Level 1

If you plan on adding a Lullu to your Paldeck, putting them on base to craft medicine or tend to your garden is the best option for this flowery Sakurajima Pal.

If cherry blossoms are your thing, then you’ll love the Sakurajima Summer update for Palworld, which brings beautiful sakura trees to Palpagos. This update brings plenty of new co??ntent to the g??ame, like a new island, new technology, and more.

Of course, in addition there are new Pals for you to catc??h and ??add to your team included in the update. One of the new pocket monsters in the Paldeck is Yakumo, a very fancy dog-like Pal. If you’re on the hunt for Yakumo, you’re in luck, because we’re going to show you how to get them.

Where to find Yakumo in Palworld

The only place you can find a Yakumo will be on the new island of Sakurajima. Specifica??lly, you can find this new Sakurajima ?Pal in the Dancing Sakura Shrine area.

If you have the Moonflower Tower Entrance Fast Travel point unlocked, use it to instantly get to the a?rea where you’ll find Yakumos. You can also use the Secluded Ceme??tery Fast Travel point, but you will need to travel slightly southeast from there.

You? can find the area that spawns Yakumos marked on the map below.

How to catch Yakumo in Sakurajima Update

Like all other Pals, Yakumo can be caught by bringing its heal??th down and then throwing a Pal Sphere at it. Once you find the Yakumo you want to catch, begin combat and bring its health as close to zero as you can?? without killing it.

Since Yakum?o is a Neutral-type Pal, it will be weak to Dark-types. Bring a strong combat Dark-type Pal with you to battle Yakumo. I recommend a Necromus or Shadowbeak for the best combat abilities, but since Yakumo isn’t particularly strong when it comes to battle, any Dark-type will work.

As soon as their health is low enough, t?oss a Pal Sphere to catch them successfully. 

You can also hatch Y??akumo from a Common Egg using an Egg Incubator. However, since it’s not guaranteed the egg will hatch a Yakumo, this method does take a bit lo??nger.

Yakumo Type, Work Suitability, and Base Stats

Yakumo, as mentioned above, is a Neutral-type Pal. They are weak to Dark-types. Unfortunately, Neutral-type Pals aren’t strong against any other type. Yakumo is, however, a level two when it comes to the Gathering work suitability, so they are still good to have arou??nd your base. 

Yakumo has a base HP of 85, ??a base Attack of 85, and a base Defense of 85. They aren’t a particularly strong Pal when it comes to combat, so they’re best kept around bases for gathering work and overall just looking cool.

It’s Sakurajima Summer for Palworld, with the update bringing plenty of new content? for fans to play through. There’s new technology to gather,?? a whole new island added to Palpagos, and plenty more.

That includes ne??w Pals to add to your Paldeck, like Sootseer. This spooky, fiery, ghostly Pal is ready to be caught and added to?? your collection if you can get them. Have no fear, we’re here to show you how to get Sootseer. 

Where to find Sootseer in Palworld

So?otseer can only be found on the new island of Sakurajima, specifically at the Secluded Cemetery. This is nestled right between the Dancing ?Sakura Shrine and the edge of the Northern Rock Field.

It’s important to note that you can only find Sootseers at nighttime, as they are nocturnal. If you go to their location during the day, you’ll need to wait. Use the Secluded Cemetery Fast Travel po??int to get there quickly if you have it unlocked.

You can see the exact location marked on the map below. This Sakurajima Pal is pretty rare, so don’t get discourage??d if you don’t find them right away.

How to catch Sootseer in Sakurajima Update

Sootseer can be caught the same as all other Pals, by bringing its health down as low as possible and throwing a Pal Sphere at it. Soot?seer is strong when it comes to combat, so you’ll need a good Pal to fight it??.

Sootseer is both a Fire and Dark-type Pal, so it is weak to Water-types and Dragon-types. The best Pal for this battle is Jormuntide, as they are both a Water and Dragon-type and is top tier ??when it comes to combat. However, both Elphidran Aqua and Relaxaurus can also get the job done.

Since Sootseer isn’t easy to get, I recommend using an advanced Pal Sphere like an Ultimate Sphere to guarantee you’ll catch them.

If you don’t feel like fighting, you can also hatch a Sootseer from a Large Dark Egg using an Egg Incubator. However, there’s no guarantee you’ll hatch a Sootseer instead of another Dark-type Pal, so this method typically takes long?er.

Sootseer Type, Work Suitability, and Base Stats

As mentioned above, Sootseer is a Fire and Dark-type?? Pal, so they’re strong against Grass and Neutral-type Pals and weak against Water and Dragon-types. They have plenty of work suitabilities, including:

• Kindling, Level 3
• Handiwork, Level 2
• Gathering, Level 1
• Mining, Level 2
• Farming, Level 1

Sootseer has a base HP of 105, a base Attack of 125, and a base Defense of 90. While their Defense isn’t anything special, their base Attack is one of the highest in the game. This makes them a solid Pal for com??bat, and one of the highest base tier Pals you can find.

The Sakurajima Summer update for Palworld has brought a whole host of new content to the pocket monster survival game, from a new island to explore to new technology to make as you journey across Palpagos.&?nbsp;

Of course, along with the? update comes plenty of new Pals you can find and catch to have join your team. One of those many Pals is Dazemu, and if you’re on the lookout for this Pal, fortunately??, we’re here to show you just how to get them.

Where to find Dazemu in Palworld

Dazemu can be found in two places on the Palpagos Islands, on the Southern Sandbar of Sakurajima Island, and on the? Twilight Dunes?? just southeast of Ice Wind Island. Both of these areas contain Dazemus for you to find.

Sakurajima?? is the new island included with the update, and if you’ve unlocked the Southern Sandbar fast travel point, you can travel straight to one of the places where you can?? find Dazemus. This is the easiest location to get to if you’re looking for this Pal. You can see the exact area marked on the map below.

How to catch Dazemu in Sakurajima Update

Just li?ke all the other Pals in the game, you will need to engage a Dazemu in combat and bring their health down low, then throw a Pal Sphere to catch them. Luckily, Dazemu isn’t the strongest Pal in the game.

Since Dazemu is a Ground-type Pal, you’ll want to bring a Grass-type with you ?to batt??le them. Any will work, but I recommend a Warsect or a Mammorest for the best combat abilities. 

Once the Dazemu’s HP is as low as you can get it, toss a Pal Sphere to make it your own. Be sure not to bring?? their HP down to zero, though, or they’ll die and you’ll need to find another one to catch.

If you stumble on a Large Rocky Egg while exploring, you can also use the Egg Incubator to hatch it and hav??e a chance to get a Dazemu. There’s no guarantee, though, so this method takes much longer.

Dazemu Type, Work Suitability, and Base Stats

As mention??ed above, Dazemu is a Ground-type Pal, which means they’re strong against Electric-types and weak to Grass-types. Dazemus has one work suitability, which is Gathering. They’re a level two at this. ;

Dazemu has a base HP of 95, a base Attack of 90, and a base Defense of 80. This puts Dazemu at a lower tier when it comes to combat. However, they are fantastic as a ground mount. They have a??n increased movement speed while on the sand, so they’re perfect for moving on deserts and beaches.

If you’re a fan of Palworld and have an urge to s??queeze your favorite Pal until they complain, then you’re in luck, especial??ly if your favorite Pal happens to be Depresso, Cattiva, or Chillet. 

Pocketpair has released Palworld official plushes of the three aforementioned Pals, and they’re being sold through Aniplex, who have partnered with both Pocketpair and Sony Music to form Palworld Entertainment. 

Despite the difference in size of the Pals in-game, all of these plushes are 25cm (9.8 inches) tall and adorable, especially Depresso. The little Pal comes armed with his signature pick??axe, ready to mine all day without emotion. 

These plushes are available to pre-order? as ?long as you reside in one of the following locations:

• USA
• Canada
• UK
• Ireland
• Australia
• New Zealand

However, stock is limited. Although there is no definite indication as to how many of each plush is available, it’s safe to say that if you want official Palworld plushes you should probably order soon. On the plus side, they’re reasonably priced at $26.99 USD each, so you won’t have to break the bank in order to?? have Depresso, Cattiva, or Chillet taking up residence in your home. 

These plushes come soon after the announcement from Palworld detailing that, at the time, no official plushes on the market, but official ones were coming soon. Of course, there are plenty of off-brand Palworld vendors out there, but if? you want to show your support to Po??cketpair, these are the plushes to get.

Hopefully, with the release of the Sakurajima update and many new Pals added to the game, these plushes will soon be joined by other favorites. I, for one, would love to have a Shroomer or Croajiro plush. Time will tell, but this is a good star??t for anyone wanting to start a collection.

The Sakurajima Summer update has brought a plethora of new content to Palworld, from a n??ew island to new technology to unlock and use. Of course, there are also a handful of new Pals?? that you can catch to join your army. 

One of these new Pals is Dogen, a ninja-like dog who is always meditating and looks very cool. If you’re looking to add Dogen to your Paldeck, we’re here to show you were to fi??nd this Pal and how you can catch them.

Where to find Dogen in Palworld

Dogen is found on the new Sakurajima Island included in the update, specifically aroun?d the Dancing Sakura Shrine. This is the only area in all of Palpagos that Dog??en spawns, so this is where you need to go.

To get there quickly, you can use either the Moonflower Tower Entrance fast travel or the Secluded Cemetery fast travel point to get to the right area. All Dogens will spawn in a section of the shrine that’s circl??ed b??elow.

How to catch Dogen in Sakurajima Summer update

Just like all the other Pals in Palworld, in order to catch Dogen, you n?eed its health down as low as you can without killing it and throwing a Pal Sphere. A Hyper Sphere has the highest chance to catch a Pal, but you can use whatever type you have on hand.

Dogen is a Neutral-type Pal, which has a weakness of dark. So, bring a strong Dark-type Pal with you to have the best chance of bringing Dogen’s health down. I recommend a strong one like Menasting, but you can u??se whatever Dark-type Pal you have.

Once its health is low, go ahead and throw your Pal Sphere to catch it. Don’t bring Dogen’s HP down to ??zero, or you’ll need to find another one to catch.

Dogen can also be hatched by incubating a Large Common Egg with an Egg Incubator if you don’t want to catch on?e. However, once you pick up the egg, there’s no guarantee it will hatch as a Dogen.

Dogen Type, Work Suitability, and Base Stats

As mentioned before, Dogen is a Neutral-type Pal. It will be ?weak to Dark-types and has no strength over any other type. Dogen does have plenty of work suitabilities, though, which include: 

• Handiwork, Level 3
• Lumbering, Level 2
• Medicine, Level 1
• Transporting, Level 2
• Gathering, Level 2

This variety of work makes Dogen a great Pa?l to keep on your b?ase.

For its base stats, Dogen has an HP of 90, an A?ttack of 100, and a Defense of 100. This is very middle of the pack for a Pal, so while Dogen doesn’t particularly excel anywher??e, they’re not weak anywhere either.

Palworld has received the big Sakurajima Summer update, and with it has come a plethora of new Pals for you to catch and add to your arsenal. One of the Sakurajima Pals included is the new Prixter, a humanoid Pal covered in scorpion-like armor.???? 

Whether you’re hunting to complete your Paldeck, or you just like Prixter because of how cool they look, you’re probably wondering where you can catch this Pal. Have no fear, be?cause we’re here to show you where to find Prixter and how to catch one for yourself.

Where to find Prixter in Palworld

Prixter can only be found on the island of Sakurajima, the new island included in the update. Head to the Northern Rock Field, and you can find a Prixter in any part of the field. I’ve found going to the northeast corner of the island near the shore is eas??iest, though.

Once you’ve found a Prixter in the wild, you’re free to begin knocking down their health in order to catch them. Be aware that they will often travel in groups, so keep your e?yes peeled for more.

How to catch Prixter in Sakurajima Update

Catching Prixter is the same as you would any other Pal, by bringing its health down as far as you?????????????????????????? can and then throwing a Pal Sphere. For the best results, bring a strong Pal to battle Prixter with, and make sure to?? stock up on Pal Spheres.

Prixter is a Dark and Ground type, they are weak to Dragon and Grass Pals. Your best shot of capturing one relies on you bringing the right Pal to fight them, so take one of those types of Pal with you. If you’ve managed to catch Jetragon, they’re a gr??eat choice. Warsect is another g?reat one.

Prixter isn’t the strongest Pal out there, so the fight won’t be too difficult. Just be sure not to bring their he?alth down to zero, or they’ll die and all you’ll be left with is a possible Venom Gland.

If you’re interested in breeding Prixter instead of c??atching one, ??you can do so by incubating a Large Dark Egg.

Prixter Type, Suitability, and Base Stats

Prixter, as mentioned, is a Dark and Ground type Pal. They have a base HP of?? 90, a base Attack of 110, and a base Defense of 90. While this puts thei??r HP on the lower end of the spectrum, they’re great for attacking.

Pr??ixter also has three work suitabilities: Lumbering, Medicine, and Gathering. Medicine is a level three, while the other two are only a level one.

If you’ve ever wanted to eat your Pokémon for some reason, then Palworld is the game for you. Survive in a harsh world filled with creatures known as Pals, use them to? battle others, build your empire, and survive.

Since the world of Pals is so vast, you’re going to need to travel quickly in order to see it all. One way you can do this is using Pals as mounts, to let them carry you anywhere you want. If you need to know the best mounts in Palworld, you’re in luck. We’ve got them right here.

What are the best flying mounts in Palworld?

These are the top five flying m??ounts you can find on Palpagos, and where you can find them to catch them.

Jetragon

The Legendary Alpha Jetragon is by far the best mount you ca??n find in the game. It’s got a speed of 3,300, which is the fastest you’re going to find by a mile. If you want Jetragon as a mount, you’re going to need to fight this boss atop Mount Obsidian. 

This is not going to be easy, and you won’t want to try it before you’re at least in the late Level 40s. Head to the northwest corner of the mountain to find Jetragon. This Pal, being a Dragon-type, is weak to ice, so use a strong Ice-type to?? bring it down. 

Be aware ??that you’ll need to be Level 50 to unlock Jetragon’s saddle in the Technology tree.

Frostallion

Frostallion, the flying Ice-type Pal is the next fastest flying mount in the game, with a ride speed of 1,500. It makes for an incredible mount and can be found east of the Land of Absolute Zero in the icy cold. Make sure you're catching the original, and not Frostallion Noct.

Since Frostallion is a high-level Ice-type, you’ll need a strong Fire-type Pal to catch them. Make sure you take one with you. Frostallion is another Alpha Pal,?? be?ing Level 50, so you will need to be at least close to this level yourself. 

Faleris

A strong Fire-type pal, Faleris is the third-best flying mount you can acquire while exploring the land. Its saddle also only requires you to be Level 38 to unlock, so Faleris is great if you’re not quite up to ge??tting Jetragon yet.

Faleris is found in the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary, whic??h is the on the northeast corner of the map, just east of the top ?of the Dessicated Desert. You might have to wait a bit for one to spawn, though, since this Pal is quite rare.

Faleris is a Fire??-type, so bring a strong Water-type to beat it. Once you mount them up, you’ll enjoy a speed ?of 1,400. 

Ragnahawk

Ragnahawk is another great mount when you’re traversing Palworld, and luckily this one’s not as tough to g??et as Jetragon despite being in the same area. Head down to the southwest corner of the map, the Volcanic Island. You’ll be able to catch one here. 

Using?? Water-type Pals like Jormuntide or Azurobe to fight Ragnahawk. Since Fire-type is weak to water, this is the easiest way to beat them. Once you have one, saddle them up and Ragnahawk will make a fantastic flying mount with a speed of 1,300.

Make sure to also bring a good Pal Sphere, like a Legendary Sphere or Ultra Sphere for the best capture rate.

Beakon

Beakon is a fantastic Electric-type Pal and the best Electric-type flying mount youâ€??™re going to find. Even though they have the lowest speed on our list at 1,200, Beakon can still easily get you where you want to go?.

You can find a Field Alpha Beakon to fight who is Level 29, making it a bit of an easier time than other entries o??n this list. Your best bet is to be that level yourself, but I’ve managed to capture one at a slightly lower level before. You can find this Alpha Beakon a little north of the Bamboo Groves, or you can go to the northeast corner of the Sand Dunes if you pre??fer to find one there.

 Since they’re an Electric-type, use a strong Ground-type Pal to take Beakon down to a low HP before capturing them with your Pal Sphere. I’d recommend a Digtoise or a Menasting for the job. 

Flying mount Pals are fantastic for getting where you need to go quickly,? if you’re able to su?ccessfully capture them. Make sure you’re at the right levels and strength to take these Pals on.

With the Sakurajima update, Palworld players can now increase their maximum level from 50 to 55. As with all levels, these new ones come with additional items which can be unlocked through the Technology Ladder, bu??t there are also new lower level ones as w?ell. 

Every technology item in the Palworld Sakurajima update

To save you having to sco?ur through the Technology Ladder to find out what’s new and what’s not, I’ve compiled everything into th??is handy table. So without further ado, here’s all of the new technology added with the Sakurajima update, as well as their recipes.

For the purpose of this list Technology Points will be shortened to TP, while Ancient Technology Points will ?be shortened to ATP.

If you’re sick of carrying around a bunch of keys around in your pocket in Palworld, o?ne of the things added in the Sakurajima update is certain to please you. Lockpicking Tools come in three varieties, each one bette??r than the last. 

How to make Lockpicking Tools in Palworld

Lockpicking Tools are unlocked using Ancient Technology Points, and can be unlocked at the following levels:

You must unlock the Lockpicking Tools in order, starting with the first and then moving on sequentially. It’s definitely worth unlocking all of them, because eventually you will be able to simply craft the v3 version,? without any need for the previous two versions at all.  All three versions of Lockpicking Tools can be crafted at a High Quality Workbench.

Lockpicking Tools v1,? unlocked at level 16, will unlock chests which would usually require a Copper Key. They require the following resources to make:

• 10 Ingots

  • Made in any furnace using Ore

• 10 Paldium Fragments

  • Obtained from mining Paldium rocks, or by putting Stone into a crusher

• 5 Nails

  • Made at any workbench using Ingots

Lockpicking Tools v2 will unlock chests which usually require a Copper or Silver key to unlock. The recipe for Lockpicking Tools v??2 simply doubles the resources of the previous version:

• 20 Ingots
• 20 Paldium Fragments
• 10 Nails

Finally, Lockpick??ing Tools v3 will allow you to unlock any chest, regardless of whether a Copper, Silver, or Gold key would usually ?be required. As such, the resources required to craft them are slightly harder to get:

• 30 Pal Metal Ingots

  • Made in an Electric Furnace by combining Ore and Paldium Fragments

• 30 Paldium Fragments
• 20 Nails

All you need to do to use any of the Lockpicking Tools is approach a locked chest and press t??he interact button. A Lo?ckpicking Tool will be used in place of whichever key you would have needed.

One of the new weapons added to Palworld with the Sakurajima update is the relatively hard hitting Laser Rifle, a?long with its?? ammo, Energy Cartridges. These both unlock at level 51, so you won’t have to wait long before you can use them in battles against strong Pals.

Once you’ve managed to level up to level 51, you’ll be able to unlock both the Laser Rifle and Energy Cartridge recipes from the Technology Ladder. You’ll need a total of six Technology Points to do this, as the Rifle itself?? costs 5 and the Ene?rgy Cartridges cost 1. 

Everything you need to make the Laser Rifle and ammo in Palworld

Although not the hardest hitting weapon available po?st-update, due to the relatively low resource cost of Energy Cartridges, this is a good option if you’re looking for a relatively powerful weapon when taking on overworld P??als. 

Before you?? can make a Laser Rifle, you’ll need to unlock the rec??ipe for Plasteel. This unlocks at level 50, and the recipe is as follows:

• 5 Crude Oil

  • Dropped from certain Pals 

• 5 Paldium Fragments

  • Obtained through mining Paldium rocks

• 10 Ore

  • Obtained through mining brown rocks

How to make a Laser Rifle in Palworld

You can make a Laser Rifle at the Weas??pon Assembly Line II, which unlock??s at level level 47 using 5 Technology Points. As long as you have one of those, you can make a Laser Rifle using the following resources:

• 50 Pal Metal Ingots

  • Made in an Electric Furnace by combining Ore and Paldium Fragments

• 60 Plasteel

  • Made using the recipe above

• 40 Carbon Fiber

  • Made at any Production Assembly Line by using either 2 Coal or 5 Charcoal

How to make Energy Cells in Palworld

Energy Cells are also made at the Weapon Assembly?? Line II and require the following resources:

• 5 Electric Organs

  • Dropped from any Electric type Pal

• 1 Pal Metal Ingot

  • Made in an Electric Furnace by combining Ore and Paldium Fragments

One of the new Pals added to Palworld with the Sakurajima update is an Electric and Dark dual-type variant of Helzephyr. This Pal can be pr??etty hard to track down, as it only spawns in a very specific and new area. Don't worry, I've done the hunt??????????????????????????ing so you can reap the reward. 

Once you’ve traveled west and found the island of Sakurajima, you’ll want to he?ad to the northern desert ar??ea of the island. This is the only place in Palpagos where you can find Helzephyr Lux. 

Where to find Helzephyr Lux in Palword, Sakurajima update

If you’re hoping to capture one, you’re going to have a bit of a fight on your hands. Helzephyr Lux are pretty powerful, and they really don’t like staying inside your Pal Sphere. I’d recommend taking some strong Ground type Pals to fight alongside you, and the best option for this by far is Anubis. 

As well as this, you’ll want to have a good supply of high level Pal Spheres to throw at your weakened Helzephyr Lux. You’ll want Ultra Spheres, at the very least, but I’d recommend crafting and using some of the new Ult?imate Spheres just to be safe. 

Once you’ve captured a Helzephyr Lux, you’ll be able to use it as a flying mount by crafting the Helzephyr Lux Saddle, which unlocks via the Technology Ladder at level 52 costing 3 Technology Points. To make it, you’ll need the f?ollowing resou??rces:

• 30 Leather
• 10 Plasteel
• 30 Electric Organs
• 60 Paldium Fragments

Once you’re mounted on your Helzephyr Lux, you’ll be able to make use of this Partner Skill “Wings of Thunderâ€? This ?adds Electric damage to all of the attacks? you use while mounted.

There are two new Pals in Palworld, thanks to the Sakurajima update, which were teased long before the update finally arrived. Shroomer ??and Shroomer Noct, the mushroom hat Pals, are mountable and have a very useful Partner Skill. 

Both of these Pals have the same Partner Skill, but it is incredibly useful, especially if you struggle to keep your Pals happy and well cared for on your base. The Partner Skill, “Swooshy Sporesâ€?decreases the speed at which Palsâ€?Sanity Meter decreases as long as either Shroomer or ??Shroomer Noct are on the base. 

How to find Shroomer in Palworld

Shroomer is a Grass type Pal which only spawns in one specific location, but what better location for a Pal wearing a mushroom as a hat than a forest of?? giant mushrooms? 

Shroomer can be found in the Mushroom Wetlands on the eastern side of Sakurajima Island, and they’re very common once you reach the area. Althoug??h they’re all between level 40 and 50, they’re not too hard to beat. If you have a strong Fire type pal, it can make quick work of even the strongest Shroomer.

How to find Shroomer Noct in Palworld

Once you’ve tracked?? down Shroomer, you’ll have a very easy time finding Shroomer Noct. All you need to do is wait for night to fall, and the purple tinted version of Shroomer will emerge in large numbers. 

Shroomer Noct is a dual-type Dark and Grass type Pal, so is capable of using attacks of both kinds. If killed or captured, it drops Venom Glands ?and Mysterious Mushrooms, the latter of which you’ll need if? you want to use Shroomer Noct as a mount. 

The Shroomer Noct Saddle unlocks at level 47 and costs 2 Technology Points.?? Once unlocked??, you’ll need the following resources to craft one at a Pal Gear Workbench:

• 20 Leather
• 20 Mysterious Mushrooms
• 30 Fiber
• 10 Refined Ingots
• 30 Paldium Fragments

If you dive into Palworld after the Sakurajima update and decide to go dungeon diving, you’re likely to come across some very pretty giant Lotuses.? If you’re wondering what you’re supposed to be doing wit?h these, I’m here to tell you that they’re actually incredibly useful. 

How to get Lotus Flowers in Palworld

If you're looking for Lotus Flowers, you'll need to spend some time diving in and out of dungeons around Palpagos.

Each lotus is available in two sizes - small (S) and large (L). Small Lotuses can be found in low level dungeons, while large ones can be found in high level dungeons, such as the new Sakura Cave. Each type of Lotus is a different colo?r, so it’s easy to tell which kind you’re picking up. 

How to use Lotus Flowers in Palworld

Lotus flowers can be used at an Electric Medicine Workbench to craft a range of new and very helpful potions. These potions can be used to permanently increase your base stats f?or the following attributes:

• Attack
• Health
• Stamina
• Carrying Capacity
• Work Speed

The potions that can be created using Lotus??es are split into two types: Remedies and Elixirs.

How to make Remedies and Elixirs in Palworld

Remedies are made using small Lotuses, and increase the corresponding stat by a small amount. You’ll need four small Lotuses per Remedy. Large Lotuses are used to create Elixirs, and you’ll need six large Lotuses per Elixir. However, when an Elixir is used, it? increases the corresponding stat by a bigger amount, usually double the effect of a Remedy. 

The types of Remedies and Elixirs are as follows:

To make each Remedy or Elixir, you’ll also need a few other resources. These include specific Pal drop items, as well as a main ingredient which is shared between all Remedies or Elixirs. Remedies require Pal Fluids, whereas Elixirs require High-Quality Pal Oil.

While there are many new Pals added to Palworld with the Sakurajima update, there a??re a few which stand out. One of these a new Alpha Pal on Sakurajima Island and a variant of a previously existing Pal â€?Menasting Terra. 

As an Alpha Pal, Menasting Terra spawns in a very specific location. You’ll find it wandering around the northern rocky area of Sakurajima Island, under a familiar giant statue of Anubis. The easiest way to get there is by heading to the Northern Rocky Area fast travel point, provided that y??ou hav?e it unlocked, and traveling west.

Where to find Menasting Terra in Palward, alpha pal guide

While it is a level 54, and therefore designed specifically to give you a tough fight, Menasting Terra can be overcome surprisingly easy. In an experiment (and absolutely not because I ran out of ammunition) I took it on with just a Sword. Although it took me a long time, I did manage to whittle down its health and capture it without too much fus??s. 

To make the battle easier on yourself, I’d suggest taking some high-level Grass type Pals, such as Warsect or the newly added Quivern Botan. Grass types are strong against Ground types, so they’re your best bet to get this fight over and done with quickly.&nbs??p;

While it is entirely possible to complete this battle with a Sword in hand, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a much better idea to stock up on ammunition for your chosen weapon and head to its location fully stocked. On the plus side, if you do manage to take Menasting Terra down, it drops both Crude Oil and Flame Organs.

Once captured, Menasting Terra can be a good addition to your base provided you have enough space for ??it to move around. It h?as level 3 mining skill and level 2 lumbering skill. Menasting Terra may be better as part of your party. 

The Terra variant of Menasting has the same Partner Skill as the regular Menasting, “Steel Scorpion� Not only does this skill cause Electric type Pals to drop more items when killed, it also increases your defense as long as Menasting or its Ground type cousin are in your party.&nbs?p;

Selyne is one of the new Pals added to Palworld as part of the Sakurajima update. It’s the star of the new Moonflower Tower, where?? it fights alongside Saya. There is a way to capture Selyne outside of the tower, but the bad news is that you can’t control it. 

One of the new features added to Palworld in the Sakurajima update is Meteorites. These chunks of space rock fall from the sky and land close-by, allowing ?you to go and mine large numbers of Meteorite Fragm?ents. That’s not all you can get, though. 

Where to find Selyne in Pa

Whenever a Meteor falls from the sky, it brings a rare Pal with it. The Pal the Metori falls with depends on where you were when the Meteorite fell. In order to capture Selyne, you’ll need to get lucky and be on Sakurajima Island when a Meteorite falls, because this is the only place Selyne will appear outside of Moonflower Tower. 

Some other Pals which can appear during Meteorite events include Xenovander, which can appear in any location, a??nd Xenogarde, which only appears if a Meteorite? falls in the Dessicated Desert.

Selyne is a Dark and Neutral dual-type Pal, and can be ridden as a mount after making the corresponding saddle. It’s a surprisingly good base Pal, boasting level 3 work suitability in Handiwork, Medicine Production, and Transporting. When killed or captured, Selyne can drop Cloth, Sapphires, and Precious Claws. 

Selyne’s Partner Skill, Celestial Darkness, will enhance Fire and Dark type damage while being used as a mount. ??With all of these benefits, Selyne is definitely worth capturing if you can?? manage it.

Mysterious Mushrooms are a new resource added to Palworld a?s part of the Sakurajima update, and if you want to use a certain Pal as a mount, you’ll need to gather them. However, it’s not immediately clear where they come from.

You’ll need 20 Mysterious Mushrooms if you want to craft a Shroomer Noct Saddle, allowing you to mount up on Shroomer Noct and ride the ??derpy, majestic mushroom-hat ?Pal into battle. 

How to get Mysterious Mushrooms in Palworld

Unfortunately, the old adage “you can’t make an omelette without cracking eggs�rings true with this resource, because the only way to gather Mysterious Mushrooms in Palworld is by killing (or capturing, if you’re feeling b??enevolent) some Shroomer ?Noct. 

Thankfully, this nocturnal cousin of Shroomer is pretty easy to find. Once you?â€??™ve found Shroomer in its natural Mushroom Wetlands habitat, you’ll just have to wait until night-time for its purple tinted kin to emerge. 

If you’re lucky, you might also find Mysterious Mushrooms in Junk Piles occasionally. If you’re hoping to gather your Mushrooms this way, you’ll ne??ed to head to higher level areas such as the Astral Mountains or the new island of Sakurajima, as these Junk Piles offer higher level items as rewards.

How to use Mysterious Mushrooms in Palworld

Mysterious Mushrooms are used to craft the Shroomer Noct Saddle. This piece of Pal Gear can be unlocked upon reaching level 47 and costs 2 Technology Points. 

After obtaining the following resources, the Shroomer Noc??t S?addle can be crafted at a Pal Gear Workbench:

• 20 Leather
• 20 Mysterious Mushrooms
• 30 Fiber
• 10 Refined Ingots
• 30 Paldium Fragments

If you’re itching for a challenging fight in Palworld, the Sakurajima update has provided plenty of higher level Pals to test your mettle. One of these Pals, Knocklem, can? only ?be found in one very specific location. 

Knocklem can be found on the new island of Sakurajima as an overworld Alpha Pal. After the update, it’s now the highest level Alpha Pal you can possibl??y fight and it truly gi??ves far better than it gets. Hard hitting and absolutely massive, taking on Knocklem is not for the faint of heart. 

Where to find Knocklem in Palworld

To find Knocklem, you’ll need to head to the southern part of Sakurajima. The easiest way to do this is by heading to the Forgotten Island fast travel point and heading northwest. Once you’re t??here, make sure to unlock any fast travel points you?? encounter on the island itself. 

Fly west along the desert region in the south of Sakurajima island, carefu?lly because there are some vicious Menastings and Toco Toco here who will gladly take you out, and you’ll come acro?ss a cavern in the cliff. You’ll need to fly into this cavern if you want to take on Knocklem.

At the end of this cavern, you’ll find Knocklem after a sheer drop, down in the water. Be careful if you're not ready to fight it just yet, Knocklem will start to attack even if you're just flying over, so keep your distance if you're cur?ious. 

Like I said, Knocklem is massive and hits very hard. I’d recommend taking your st??rongest Pals with you as well as hard hitting weapons, such as a Laser Rifle or Missile Launcher. If you want to capture Knocklem, I’d suggest stocking up on Ultimate Spheres in order to maximize  your chances of a successful capture.
