Developer Survios debuted the first gameplay trailer for Alien: Rogue Incursion during today's PlayStation State of Play. The VR single-player action-horror game focuses on an all-new storyline in the Alien universe as they try to survive an encounter with? the "Perfect Organism" in VR.

Built in Unreal Engine 5, Alien: Rogue Incursion utilizes the power of VR to drop players into an intense action-horror environment as they try to survive and outsmart the Alien with shooter-??st??yle gameplya and mechanics as they explore an Alien-infested facility on the harsh planet of Purdan.

Alien: Isolation is still one of my favorite horror titles of all time, so if Rogue Incursion can manage to channel even a fraction of that I'll be happy. Besides, Isolationfelt li?ke a perect transition into VR so this could very well be a perfect match.

Alien: Rogue Incursion is set to release this Holiday 2024 on ??PlayStation VR2, PCVR via Steam, and Meta Quest? 3.

Immersed in a world of dinos and bubbles

The bubble-popping gameplay of the Puzzle Bobble series is becoming a little bit more real, thanks to virtual reality. Survios has announced Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey, a new Puzzle Bobble game for the PlayStation 4, Pl?ayStation 5, and PlayStation VR for later ?this year.

Puzzles can rotate and spin in 3D space, creating strange clusters and combinations to pop with your handy-dandy bubble blaster. And yes, it looks like ??Bub and Bob are here to help. It's like a dream come true, except in this one, you're not late for a final in a class you forgot you were taking.

If you're worrying about not having a VR headset, don't fret: Puzzle Bobble 3D has non-VR gameplay support as well. There?? will be up to 100 3D puzzles in the Story Mode, as well as ??an Infinite Mode and Duel Mode with matchmaking.

The reveal is part of Sony's day-long PSVR event, where it's been steadily revealing new games coming to the PlayStation VR platform. Alongside Puzzle Bobble 3D, there's also been the ninja stealth-action game Arashi: Castles of Sin, flora-builder Winds & Leaves, and more.
