Although not really a mainline Zelda game, Nintendo is kind of pulling out all the stops when promoting Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. There's a bonus where Breath of the Wild save data grants a special training sword. There's amiibo support because Nintendo doesn't miss opportunities to sell these physical add-ons. N??ow there's a physical pre-order offer that might be too cool to miss out on.

This guy appears to be the Guardian on the Age of Calamity box art and not any of the Guardians from Breath of the Wild. I guess the Guardians grow up during great calamities. Times of crisis have a way of maturing you and elongatin??g your tentacles.

Combining 1 vs 1 action and team management in fun but unforgiving arenas, each player fights alongside four AI teammates in short action packed, real time battles. Players ??switch characters manually or after dying. 40 upgradable characters with special powers in fluid maps allow for a rich selection of game plans, from casual fun to well-prepared, sophisticat?ed traps.

FRAG was designed from the ground up to behave like a true FPS on a wide variety of mobile devices. Hammerfall Publishing, the awesome folks behind Warhammer 40K: Regicide, want to play with you again! We somehow? didn't deter them last time!

What is Regicide you ask (again, I might add)? It's about the bloodiest, most amazing take on chess that I've seen. It has two modes. Classic mode follows old-school chess rules, but more murder-y. Regicide mode let's you plan your stra??tegy and utilize tactical abilities (and some crazy powers too) to wipe your enemies clean off the board. Game has online and single player, as well as letting you choose either the Space Marines or the Orks! Why listen to my little blurb? When I think of commemorative coins, I think of overpriced patriotic junk peddled during TV commercial breaks. Supplies are extremely limited. Call now! This is way better.

It's a silver-plated Club Nintendo Goodbye Coin that is up for grabs in Europe if you have 2,000 stars. We use (well, used) coins for Club Nintendo here in the States, not stars, and mine are long gone anyway. The memento says "thank you" in Japanese?, because of course it does.

Not a bad ?tribute. I'm anxious for Nintendo to roll out its new l?oyalty program.

I'm now imagining a secret society that takes these as payment. You've seen John Wick, right?

Publisher NIS has started taking pre-orders for Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut - Classified Edition?? for?? PS3. It includes a hardcover art book, soundtrack, all the available DLC, and a custom set of Bicycle brand cards.

This special edition is only available for the PS3 and is slated to release on November 24 this year, and you can pre-order it now for $49.99, if you feel so obliged. I personally never finished the original and I'm weary of buying the Director's Cut as it wasn't as well received.

Everyone loves good teas. Green teas, black teas, barley teas (the best tea d?espite not technically being tea), Charles Barkley teas. Well, how about an E3 badge teas? I will stop the unfunny joke now. The stretch was steep.

Anyways! Oh my lord on a skateboard, E3 is a??????????????????????????lmost a week away??. Next Sunday I'll be hopping on a plane at 7AM bound for horrible Los Angeles, video games, and Jordan's creamy legs IRL. Ah, the City of Angles. 45 degrees, 90 degrees -- it has 'em all.

Atlus has been the E3 badge insert sponsor for the four plus years I've been at Destructoid (here's 2011-2013, 2014)?? and that's continuing for 2015 so we're again teasing this piece of historical cardboar??d before a full reveal next week ahead of the show.

The blank insert is above. I took a guess using the magic of photo editing. I think Atlus dumps Persona 5 to make a Matty Lesko game. Maybe that's dis?tracting. I'll upload a clean version below.

Tickets for Sony's free E3 Experience events have gone live.

Theaters acro??ss North Americ?a will be live-streaming Sony's E3 press conference, as well as show?ing an exclusive thirty minute post-show interview. There'll be Sony-flavoured goodies for?? all attendees, too.

80 percent of tic?kets have been allocated to ticket holders, and 20 percent will be reserved for those on the waiting list. The latter will be a?dmitted on a first come, first served basis. 

I'd list all the venues here but my hand would fall off, but go here, pop in your zip code, ??and the site will select the theater closest to you. You need to be 17+ and may be asked for ID so: you've been warned. 

The events -- starti??ng at 6pm P?T on June 15 -- will be coming to every US state and three cities in Canada.

All US states are represented, plus three Canadian cities

Sony wi??ll be rolling out the PlayStation E3 Experience to more theaters in more states than ever before.

In a recent PlayStation blog? post, Sony confirmed that the free event -- starting at 6pm PT on June 15 -- will be comi??ng to every US state and three cities in Canada. 

While the venues themselves have yet to be confirmed, free tickets are available from 9am PT on May 27 at playstation.com/e3experience. Those lucky enough to snag a ticket will take home "a PlayStation surprise, which will consist of PlayStation g??oods and digital codes [they] can’t disclose yet." You'll need to be able to prove that you're aged 17+ to enter.

"You and fellow members of the PlayStation community will get to see the full PlayStation E3 press conference in HD on the big screen, plus there are special bonuses for those who come out to the theater experience," writes host Geoff Keighley. "I’ll be hosting an exclus??ive 30-minute in-theater post show with extended footage and interviews with developers."

"To make it fair to everyone in the community, this year we are giving you advance notice of ticket sales.?? Eighty percent of theater capacity will be reserved for ticket holders, with 20 percent of the theater held for those on the wait list, who will be admitted on a first-come, first?-served basis. We saw the big lines last year and want to make sure that everyone has a fair chance to be in the theater."

I couldn't afford Kid Icarus: Uprising, dang it all

I'm still mentally preparing myself for a world without Club Nintendo. The long-running rewards service will no longer exist as of July 1, 2015, but there's a much more immediate date we also need to keep in mind: March 31. That's, wow, tomorrow! Tomorrow is the final day to earn Coins, register games, and sign up for new Club Nintendo members?hip.?? Don't procrastinate.

There's a bunch of compelling games available, so be sure to scrounge up any remaining Clu?b Nintendo leaflets you haven't used, register codes, fill out surveys, and load up on Coins.

Note: the last day to actually redeem Coins (or access your Club N??intendo account) i??s June 30.

There is one copy for each platform (XB1 and PS4) and to win one, it's fairly simple. Tell us which of the seven deadly sins you'd turn into a weapon and what that weapon would be (i.e. Gluttony: A shotgun style weapon that shoots globs of food at the enemy, making them get larger and larger until they explode). Bonus points for creating an MSPaint image of said weapon! Make sure to include which platform you'd like the game for in your entry.

Club Nintendo Japan has added some new rewards including a two-disc CD soundtrack for Mario Kart 8, a Majora's Mask jigsaw puzzle, and a lil Blooper shirt. You can sq?ueeze into it, if you want.

There's also a tentative list??ing for another two-disc set featuring Nin?tendo ending / credits songs.

Even if you aren't in Japan, make sure to get on your region's Club Nintendo site before the closure. I wanted Kid Icarus: Uprising (dang game has held its value well over the years) but could only afford Super Metroid for the Wii U. It's not even like I needed it, either. I was just on a kick.
