Iron Studio has released an update for Pacific Drive that should help anyone who felt th??e Olympic Exclusion Zone was a bit too unfriendly. The “Drive Your Way�update adds a slew ?of difficulty settings to fine-tune your experience, along with some other goodies.

Difficulty se?ttings are always a good thing. Personally, I like playing at the default or mid-range settings (yes, even when reviewing a game), but I’m not going to fault someone for picking “I’m too young to die.�At the same time, if you’re a “Nightmare�sort of person, then you can also lift the difficulty for a harder experience.

I’ll giv?e you the ??list of difficulty options, and then I’ll talk some more about what else is in the patch. Here they are:

  • Pacific Drive - The standard Pacific Drive experience - a Pacific Drive through the Olympic Peninsula.
  • Scenic Tour - Crafting requirements, resource consumption, driving difficulty, hazards, dangers, storms, and damage are all lowered or disabled. The player cannot die. A scenic route through the story of Pacific Drive.
  • Joyride - The same gameplay and tension as Pacific Drive, but gathering, crafting, and research requirements are all lowered. Damage and failure penalties are minimal.
  • A Sunday Drive - Focus on the Olympic Peninsula with minimal interruptions
  • Nuclear Journey - Every map will be filled with low dose radiation that is harmful to the player. Storms are faster and stronger, hazards and damage are more plentiful. An unpredictable, irradiated journey that only the car can protect you from.
  • Mechanic's Road Trip - Terrain and the status of the car impact driving more. Items to repair the car are more costly to craft, and can't be crafted on a run. A challenging drive and susceptible car will provide a test of your forethought, problem solving, and automobile experience.
  • Olympic Gauntlet - All aspects of the game are much harder - An extreme gauntlet to challenge the most dedicated Breachers.
  • Iron Wagon - All aspects of the game are much harder, and failing a run will delete your save file. An extreme gauntlet to challenge the most dedicated Breachers, with no room for failure.

Beyond that, there are some new cosmetic options. This?? is mainly the ability to paint the wheels and bumpers. However, there’s a new antenna topper and dangly thing. If that’s not enough for you, a new cosmetic DLC pack is available on the storefront.

Lastly, you can now add custom songs on the PC version. This is probably the most exciting part for me �or would be if I was planning a replay. When I played through it for review, I kept getting the same five or six songs on repeat. They weren’t bad songs, but I hate listening to the same thing over and over because it drills into my head. The credits listed, like, a hundred songs, and I’m pretty sure I didn’t hear a lot of them because every time I flicked on the radio, it was “Doctor Juice.�/p>

There are a lot of people who love Pacific Drive, and I feel kind of isolated in the fact that I didn’t click with it. It’s enough that it’s one of those situations where I know everyone has their opinion, and that?’s one of the few redeeming qualities of humans, but I’m so far away from some that I can’t help but raise an eyebrow. It wasn’t the difficulty I had a problem with, it just felt substantially padded and inconsistent. I dig the concept, and I love some of the things they did with it, but when I pulled up to the end credits, I was just so aggravated.

Anyway, try it yourself, you might like it. Pacific Drive is available for PC and PS5. The Drive Your Way updat?e releases today.

Since releasing to early access over ten years ago, Rust has become one of the most famous online survival games in the current era. I say "famous" when I really mean "infamous" because, as anyone who's played the game knows, it's hard as frick. What we really need is a tutorial.

Ta-da! As of now, the latest patch for Rust has started rolling out which, low and behold, implements a Tutorial Island, perfect for getting to grips with the fundamentals. According to a post over on Steam, the island offers a way of adding a "safe environment to learn the basic controls and mechanics of Rust before being set loose in the main game with other players??."

It also says that all players will be prompted to run through ??the tutorial "when they first spawn this month," but you can decline ?the offer. Here's what you'll learn:

That's probably one of the biggest things to come out of this update. But there's also another huge improvement that's been made to Rust in the guise of better night lighting.

The update notes go on to say that to combat "gamma h??acking" from players, the studio has added a "Nightlight feature." Essen??tially, this is a shader that illuminates the immediate area in front of you at nighttime, "mimicking the effect of natural moon light."

In short: you should now be able to see much better in the dark. It's still going to be pretty dark, though, so don't expect to be able to confidently run through the inky blackness with nary a care in the world. This is Rust, after all.

We all know that interest in Starfield has been waning, with an unfortunate decline in people playing Bethesda's new IP. Still, the developer is determined to keep the metaphorical motor running, and the late??st update for the game is now out in ?Steam Beta.

One thing to note about the patch notes is the sheer number of "fixes" that have been implemented. In fact, in a recent post on The-X-Formerly-Known-As-Twitter, version 1.10.30 of Starfield has over 400 things that have been fixed. ?Bethesda games, amirite? Also, just to reiterate: this is just for Steam Beta. The final patch will be rolling out for PC and Xbox sometime after.

Some other things that have been added in the new update: new camera mode expressions, support for changing FOV in "3rd Person Ship view," autosave when fast traveling back into orbit, and some general quality-of-life impr??ovements.

What about some new content?

Hundreds of fixes are obviously a good thing, but a lot of people will be more interested in some new content for the game. We've recently gotten wind that the Shattered Space DLC c??ould be arriving soon. That migh?t see an uptick in general interest.

We all know the story. It hasn't been the best trajectory for Starfield. At the time of writing, there are just over 4,000 people playing on PC, according to SteamDB. For comparison, over 15,000 people are in Skyrim: Special Edition. That's not a great look, to be honest.

Look, pretty much all games have their slumps. They release, get a lot of attention, then take a bit of a dive. T'is the way. But for what was easily the most hyped game of this generation, Starfield sure has taken quite the nosedive.

When it launched last October, Alan Wake 2 was noted as a superb follow-up to its cult Xbox 360 predecessor. Visually, it was something to behold. However, being quite a graphically demanding g??ame meant people with older hardware were left out—until now.

Recently, Eurogamer was given exclusive access to an upcoming patch for Alan Wake 2 which aims to optimize the sequel for previous-gen graphics cards. Specifically, the update ?will put focus on making the game compatible with Nv?idia GTX 10-series GPUs, powered by the Pascal architecture.

In a benchmark test, a Digital Foundry video found that, once the patch starts rolling out on ?March 6, those with GTX hardware should see some pret??ty significant upticks in performance.

It's not a cure-all, though

Currently, the likes of the GTX 1060 (which is the fourth most used GPU on Steam) don't support mesh shaders, something AW2 uses for better visual acuity. ??However, the new patch should fix this.

The video above shows that fr?amerates do incre??ase, boosting overall performance by around 45%, even up as much as 85% for the likes of the GTX 1080.

However, the aforementioned 1060 is still not entirely suitable for the game to run?? at a decent rate. While Digital Foundry saw increases from 15 ?to 25 frames on average (thanks to the removal of mesh shaders) in dense areas, this still falls short of what most gamers expect these days, which is 30fps at the very minimum.

There also appear to be no optimizations for the AMD equivalent, the RX 580, a card that came out in 2017. Given that Team Red is no longer supporting this GPU, it's probably not in Remedy's best interests to make Alan Wake 2 compatible with this (and much older) hardware.

If you're still playing DayZ (and why wouldn't you be?) the latest patch has started rolling out, which comes with new guns and some quality-of-life changes. Perhaps more importantly, developer Bohemia Interactive says we may be seein?g something a little different l??ater on this year.

In a nutshell: "our focus has been on expanding the scope of the DayZ brand," in which "significant resources have been ?allocated to this endeavor." Bohemia isn't saying too much, but is hoping to showcase something later thi?s year.

A colossal milestone

It seems the developer has big plans for its zombie survival shooter. There's a continuing dedication to new character cosmetics, as well as the unveiling of "a rather exoti?c long-range rifle" planned. There are also going to be some new action sounds, ambient music, and a look at possibly introducing a richer variety of wildlife.

Additionally, the game just finished its Valentine's event, which added Cupid's bolts to the experimental release. This year will still see the return of other special occasions, such ??as the Walpurgi, Halloween, and Christmas events.

However, the studio is also "looking into the possibility of hosting new events in collaboration with other games." Those who are diehard DayZ fans may have some idea of what that's referring to. Sounds like pretty exciting stuff, whatever i??t's going to be.

Those guys over at Kinetic Games sure are determined to keep Phasmophobia ticking over nicely. With the studio initiating a re??set along with a huge update last year, it feels as though the team is trying to keep things fresh. Now, w??e've got some more stuff inbound, including something that a lot of fans should be pleased with.

In a recent post on Steam, we've been treated to a bit of insight into what's happening behind the Phasmophobia scenes. First and foremost, we're getting an update ?to the shop "sometime next week."

After hearing the feedback, Kinetic is working hard to make it "the best shop it can be." A few images show what we can expect when the changes happen. However, as al?ways with these previews, any "information and images are Work In Progress (WIP) and may change drastically before releasing."

Actually, yes. Why have we not had rickety houses before?

We're also told that progress on some other things is coming along nicely. For example, we've been shown a new image from Point Hope, the lighthouse map that the team will "soon be able to set it up for gameplay ??and get testing."

And yes, you can apparently play the che??ssboard that's in the image. This also means it may not be long ??until the map starts rolling out. Caveats apply, as always.

On?? top of this, tinkering is still underway on the farmhouses, which are being given a rework. Images show that Grafton is getting something of a visual overhaul, with it now being a lot more dilapidated, as well as having its layout altered.

Sadly, there's been no word on the much-anticipated console port. We were told last year that the developer had to delay it, but there's been no confirmation on when ??we can expect it.

Personally, I can't wait until the new shop update. Ever since the changes came a while back, I've really not got on with it. Apparently, I'm not alone in this, according to the comments on this Reddit thread. It's pretty much the one thing that's been a thorn in my back when it comes to Phasmo.

With its green, gooey look and vacant eyes, the bogged is actually a variant on the classic skeleton and, as the name implies, can be found in the more swampy ??areas of the game.

When can I give it a hug?

The bogged is set to come out with the 1.21 update (which is due sometime this year), but you can test it now in snapshots, which are essentially beta tests for new Minecraft features. The post gives some instructions:

It's been a good while since I was sucked back into Minecraft's world. Not sure whether a new green enemy is enough to entice me back in. But that could be because I've recently got back into No Man's Sky. That's eating into a lot ?of my downtime at the minute.

Version 0.1.4.0 has been rolling out on Steam, with a lot of fixes being implemented. For star??ters, there's been an issue where players have been receiving damage twice. This has now been patched out. Also, players will ?"no longer pass through walls when dismounting." That was a thing, it seems.

Going forward, expect a lot more Palworld updates. The developer says it's going to continue developme??nt, "placing top priority on fixing major problems and issues." Not enough people in Ecuador to play

Along with the recent patch, Pocketpair also gave the good word on Twitter/X that the game has experienced m??ore than 19 million players. That's 12 million on PC and seven million on Xbox. That's about as much as...a very very large thing (I'm not good at analogies today, it seems).

A few days ago, Palworld smashed through the two million concurrent player mark, according to SteamDB. It's become one of �if not the �fastest-selling game in recent memory. Two weeks. It came out jus?t two weeks ag??o.

We're still waiting to hear what Nintendo/The Pokémon Company will turn up in its investigation. For now, Palworld contin??ues to be as huge as...you know ??what...you can take it from here.

Oh, Starfield. We all had such hope for you. You're not a bad game, of course, but there was definitely some lost potential there. Still, you won a Steam award whic??h is nice, and you're kicking off the new year with the game's first major update.

Originally due to come out on Wednesday, Bethesda released a major patch for Starfield to Steam Beta yesterday, which aims to fix a number of bugs. If you take a look at the official website, you'll see ex??actly what versio?n 1.9.47.0 comes with.

A quick scroll down the list shows there's been a boatload of fixes ?to the game. There's some general stuff, such as patching out corruptions to save files on PC, improvements to things like reflections and shadows, and ??some much-needed tweaks to quests and "random encounters."

But is it enough?

Bethesda says this latest update comes with "over a hundred fixes and adjustments" with some quality-of-life shenanigans thrown into the mix as well. The post on the Starfield website also asks fans to keep sharing feedback on the off-chance a particular fix people have been waiting for isn't in this?? version.

While squashing bugs is always appreciated in games, it's probably going to take a lot more than that for people to start taking an interest in Starfield again.

We've been told by the developer that new implementations and features are coming at some point �including new ways of traveling �so that's something to keep in mind as we barrel on into 2024. But it's tough to say whether any and all improvements will be able to?? rescue Bethesda's new game from disappearing into the proverbial black hole.

At some point today, Bethesda was scheduled to roll out a big update for Starfield, complete with bug fixes a-plenty. Howe??ver, there's been a slight change to that, as the studio has had to delay the patch, but hopefully not by much.

According to a recent post on Twitter, the team has "discovered an issue we want to address" before the Starfield update? can see the light of day. It doesn't say what this issue actually is, but Bethesda evidently needs a little more time before? it can be sent out.

However, it doesn't seem as though we'll be waiting too long. The tweet goes on to say that the developer is "aiming to release it later this week," but they'll ??"confirm timing when we know for sure."

Delays can be good, right?

Considering the patch was supposed to be out today, and we're already on Wednesday, you'd be? forgiven for thinking Bethesda might miss the boat for this week. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though.

Microsoft already wanted the release date for Starfield pushed back a few months, presumably so it could be polished to a more suitable standard. What we got was, what some might consider, one of the least buggy Bethesda games in a long time. Though that?? might not be the flex it initially sounds like.

As for the game itself, well...things aren't going great for Todd Howard's dream project. Over on Steam, reviews stand at "Mostly Negative" for recent scores and "Mixed" overall. There's every possibility Beth??esda can make something of a U-turn, but the (now-delayed) update is going to have to be a very good omen of things to come.

If you've never played Geometry Dash, you may find you're ?missing out on one of t??he most engaging games in the rhythm genre. Now, after several years, not only has a new version been released, but it's caused the concurrent player count to spike to an all-time high.

According to recent data from SteamDB, Geometry Dash reached a peak of 88,346 on December 20. I??f you look at the graph, you can see how it shot up in the space of a couple of hours, with the previous count showing just under 13,000 players.

Progress on update 2.2 has been a long time coming. In fact, the last update from developer RobTop Games was in October, which said that the proposed November release would "not be doable." Now that it's finally out, we can see just how much people h??ave been waiting for it.

Bouncy bouncy

For those who haven't experienced it, Geometry Dash has you moving through levels of varying difficulties, playing as a ?simple shape or other object. Jumping over obstacles to get to the end, the game's genius comes from the fact that the level moves along in time to the music.

This necessitates well-timed presses in order to hop over spikes and gaps or wind your way through tight corridors. While I don't want to draw too big a comparison, if you liked the nature of Flappy Bird, this could be right up your alley.

At the time of writing, more than 59,000 people are playing, which kind of shows? that the wait can sometimes be w?orth it in the end.

Despite version 2.0 supposedly being the last big update for Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red is bringing us one ??last hurrah. As well as implementing a number of fixes, the latest patch brings?? with it fresh ideas to see things out before the studio moves onto new games.

To go with the Ultimate Edition that's also been released, update 2.1 has added a few changes today. You can check out the video below for an overview. Some of the things now in Cyberpunk 2077 include a metro system, hangouts with partne??rs, new vehicles, better vehicle combat, improve??d boss fights, and more.

Is this it for Cyberpunk now?

CDPR recently said it's ramped up the team size for the new Witcher saga. On top of that, Community Director for the studio, Marcin Momot, has said that 2.1 represents "one more patch" for the game. After this, the team will be focusing on future projects, of which? there are quite a few.

That's not to say Cyberpunk will be abandoned entirely. At least not for the immediate future. The game is about to turn three-years old, and CD Projekt Red will probably want to keep things ticking over for a bit longer. However, the developer is now thinking about what's coming next, which includes working on a sequel to Cyberpunk.

F??or now, we at least get one last crack at some new changes in Night City. Make your next playthrough count, as it's almost certainly the last major update the game will be getting. For real this time.

Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone has been hard at work on the next update for Stardew Valley. While the creator is taking their time to make sure the patch is ready for release, they have made it clear that pro??gress is coming along while also sharing a little tease.

Over on Twitter, Barone has shared a screenshot from Stardew Valley, showing off the? new "Big Chest" in upda??te 1.6. The post goes on to say that the developer has "self-imposed" a crunch mode to get the patch out but made a "ton of progress" on it last month.

Nothing much has been said about what's coming, as the developer wants to keep "mostly everything secret." However, we have had some teases in the past, such as hats for animals. But we'll know more once the update does roll ou??t.

A labor of love

Barone seems clearly passionate about their game, which has gone down as one of the best indie titles in recent memory. When asked why they continue to work on Stardew Valley, the creator said: "I want it to be the best it ?can be," adding that "it's been my life's work and I care a lot about it."

On top of update 1.6, the game is also going on tour, with an orchestra set to travel the globe playing arrangements from the Stardew soundtrack. The tour kic?ks o??ff in Los Angeles on February 16, 2024.

On a personal note, I'm actually fairly new to the game myself. However, I became rather hooked o??n its simplistic visuals, relaxing mechanics, and the sheer amount of content that's been lovingly put in. The next patch is definitely one that a lot of fans will be keen to try out.

Dead by Daylight continues its trend of adding well-known movie and video game horror villains to its increasing roster. Now, Child's Play is the ?latest franchise to be incorporated, as developer Beh?aviour Interactive brings the killer doll Chucky to the game.

A new trailer for the patch shows the pint-sized terror doing what he does best: stabbing people to?? death. Chucky comes with two modes, Normal and Hidey-Ho, the latter of which makes him temporarily undetectable. He's also in a fixed third-person camera view due to his short stature.

Dead by Daylight has also added in The Good Gal, which is essentially Tiffany. Fans of both the game and the Child's Play series will be pleased to know that Brad ??Dourif has reprised his role as the voice of Chucky.

No short-changing with this update

But it's not just Chucky and Tiffany that have been added in. Patch 7.4.0 also brings with it a few changes, including some tweaks to a number of DbD's killers?. There's also been a slight reduction to some?? of the larger maps, specifically Mother's Dwelling and Red Forest Realm.

If that wasn't enough, the update also implements a ton of fixes, adds in a Player Card, which you "can earn collectable banners and badges" for, and adds support for AMD's FSR 1.0 upscaling technology. You can see the full patch notes on the Steam page.

It's a pretty sweet gig Dead by Daylight has. While a popular asymmetrical horror game in general, the fact that it has a long list of other franchises it can utilize for characters and enemies lends it that extra bit of longevity. With it now bringing Chucky into the mix, it kin??d of makes me want to reinstall it again.

For the 25th anniversary of Half-Life, Valve not only released a documentary about the iconic FPS, but also sent out a pretty significant update to celebrate. While the Half-Life patch brought with ?it some bug fixes, there was one that it didn't manage to iron out. Until now, that ??is.

In a short clip uploaded to Twitter/X by user @VinciusMedeiro6, another update that rolled out recently has fixed an issue with the Blast Pit chapter of the game. Anyone who's familiar with Half-Life w?ill be familiar with this section, and the bug in question concerns an unlucky scientist.

When Gordon Freeman steps into a control room, a giant, tentacled monster crashes through a window and grabs a panicked, lab coat-wearing NPC. Unfortunately, perhaps due to limitations at the time, the boffin is dragged off by the monster, but the off anim??ation makes it seem like he's floating in midair.

Argh! A flying scientist!

This little immersion-breaking hiccup has been part and parcel of Half-Life for the past 25 years. Even the big anniversary update didn't fix it. But now,?? it seems Valve saw fit to finally give this small (but wholly iconic) cutscene some additional care.

You can see the result in the clip posted above. For a comparison, @VinciusMedeiro6 also uploaded the original. This way, you can really see the difference t?his little tweak has made to what must have been a terrifying ordeal f??or the bespectacled scientist.

Since turning a quarter of a century old, Half-Life has enjoyed something of a resurgence, reaching its highest-ever player peak, even without fixing this bug. It sort of cements just how significant the release was (and still is), both in the FPS genre? and in gaming in general.

Nearly two weeks after it hit beta, the Starfield DLSS update �dubbed 1.8.86 on Steam �is now available for the masses. Not ?only ??should it help with performance, but the update also lets you snarf food off any surface.

??You may not have eaten food right off the ground since you were a toddler, but there is no judgment for such behavior in space. Well, unless you brought one of thos?e Constellation companions who complain about everything. Wait, no. That's all of them.

What DLSS update 1.8.86 brings to Starfield

The standout of update 1.8.86 is that it brings Nvidia's DLSS to Starfield at last. Bethesda's big space RPG has been without the useful tech since it launched in September, leaving many PC players to twist knobs and adjust slid??ers in order to get the game running relatively well on their rigs. It's been a bit touch-and-go. The update adds DLSS support along with DLAA (deep learning anti-aliasing), Nvidia Reflex Low Latency, and DLSS frame ??generation.

And you get to eat food off the floor like a low-health character from a beat 'em up. Indeed, Bethesda has proudly included a highly requested feature that allows you to eat any food found in the environment. Will 76 Chunks Beef satisfy you? Probably not, since the only thing closer to the void that is a Bethesda character's stomach is a black hole. And food items heal for very little in Starfield. But it may save your life to slurp some alien tea you stepped on while in a heated fight with spa?ce pirates.

The update does bring plenty of other changes, including bug fixes. One of the bugs tied to the 'Eye of the Storm' mission seems to be fixed, an?d the game received som??e polish to its visuals.

Hopefully, it's enough to make some players happy. But it may be too late for some. Starfield has dropped hard in popularity, and, for a moment, had fewer players than 2011's Skyrim. The Steam score has also started to slide, with the game sitting at a 'Mixed' rating. We'll have to wait and see if a better-performing Starfield can start, well, performing better soon.

The legendary Half-Life is 25 years old and just got a fresh coat of orange paint. Valve has released the 25th anniversary update, which adds a staggering amount of changes and content to Half-Life including more multiplayer maps, modernized visual options, and the once-magazine exclusive Uplink campaign.

The update is live now for owners of Half-Life, which likely counts for about 98% of all PC owners. And Valve has made sure nostalgia is set to hit you in the face like an unchecked crowbar right off the bat. The 25th anniversary update brings back the old-school Valve logo to Half-Life, along with the classic menu. This is probably the best way to relive that iconic 'monorail' opener.

Dust off that HEV suit, you're going back in

But the update isn't just mired i??n nostalgia. As mentioned, the update includes plenty of new content and fixes along with modern changes. The update also adds four new multiplayer maps: Contamination, Pool Party, Disposal, and Rocket Frenzy.

On the technical side of things, the update brings plenty. Half-Life received wide-screen ?FOV support, an option to disable GL Renderer texture smoothing, lighting fixes "including the long-lost GL Overbright support," and visual support for Linux users. You also get options for controller configurations, a?s well as Steam Networking. But, like a breathless infomercial, you know that's not all.

Perhaps the biggest surprise in the 25th anniversary update is the inclusion of Half-Life Uplink. For those unfamiliar, Uplink is a separate story campaign that Valve developed after the base game hit gold. It was sent out as a magazine-exclusive CD but ??has returned home thanks to the update.

But forget about all that; Ivan?? and Proto-Barney are back!

The gruesome twosome is joined by other classic goodies. From the Half-Life: Further Data CD, the game receives:

Alan Wake 2 is already a scary game. Having a guy who looks and sounds like Max Payne coming at you like an aggressive red panda probably isn't necessary. Luckily, a new update for Alan Wake 2?? fixes a T-posing Alex Casey while addressing progression-halting bugs.

To be fair, the latter is arguably far more terrifying. Most should agree that a bug stopping your story progress in a game is both scary and frustrating. In fact, it actually happened to me yesterday in Alan Wake 2. The rides at the Espresso Express were clipped into the wooden platform, and the capsule that was supposed to move out of the way wasn't. And I didn't feel like pushing a wheelbarrow around. Luckily, things should be so??rted out afte?r today.

The update brings a lot of other fixes to issues that have plagued Alan Wake 2 players. For one, the game's first boss battle has been rebalanced in the players' favor. The HDR toggle in the menu now does what it's supposed to do, and it shouldn't rain inside from here on. Of course, my favorite in the ?list: "Fixed instances of Alex Casey t-posing menacingly." I just love how that's written. Another issue involved being unable to speak with Casey after the autopsy section, but you should be able to now.

The update also addr??esses some mission-specific issues. A button-mashing segment in the Subway no longer requires as much mashing. The Room 665 Echo has once more been tweaked, and will respawn if players fail to "watch the video to the very end."

Developer Remedy Entertainment has been quick on updating the game since its launch. The last patch is only a few days old, and it follows a previous update that included 200 fixes. Fixing games is a laborious process. I doubt we've seen the end of them for Alan Wake 2, but? hopefully, there are fewer progres?sion-blocking bugs left after today.

Bethesda is allowing Starfield's most interested and impatient players to get a taste of things to come with the beta. It brings Nvidia's DLSS technology along with a few choice fixes and changes. How to join the Starfield DLSS update Steam beta

The DLSS update will not install automatically for Starfield the moment you check your Steam library. As this is a beta, you need to opt into it and download a new build of the game. To play the beta, open up your Steam library and right-click on Starfield. Select 'Properties' and move to the 'Betas' window. In the drop-down menu, pick the '?[beta]' option. You'll download the build from there.

The beta build uses your saves, so you can continue your story with the welcome boost in framerate. But keep in mind that since you're playing the beta, you won't be able to continue progress in the main build since the two v??ersions are incompatible. However, Bethesda notes in the post that the saves made in the b??eta version of the game should work once the official update is live. Toying with different game versions can be a bit tricky, so keeping a separate save for the beta may be wise.

Let them eat sandwiches

Those with Nvidia GPUs that support DLSS will have a full buffet of options. The update allows you to try Starfield with "DLSS Super Resolution, Deep Learning Anti-aliasing (DLAA), Nvidia Reflex Low Latency, and DLSS Frame generation," according to Bethesda's post. Other than DLSS, Starfield players and Kirby enthusiasts alike should be freakin' overjoyed with the update. It gives you the op??tion to consume food and drink found in the world. Karmic balance has been restored.

There are other notable improvements in the beta update. A major one includes a gameplay change that adjusts "stealth to be a bit more forgiving." Anyone who's been laboring away in the Ryujin Industries questline need take note.?? It also brings fixes to progression-blocking bugs, Andreja's missing head, and tweaks for the FOV slider. There is a lot to peruse, but keep in mind the majority of players won't see them until the beta period finishes.

There was a time when Valve could do no wrong, releasing hit game after hit game. While better known these days as the developer behind Steam, Gabe Newell and his crew got their start with the iconic Half-Life. Now, an update has been sighted, and the timing is quite suspici?ous.

According to SteamDB (as spotted by PCGamesN), the original Half-Life underwent a few changes days ago. Specifically, Valve a?dded several depots, including one for Linux and macOS, as well as for some languages, such as Spanish, German, and Korean.

There's also a "buildid" that's been added, which could be in reference to a new build of the game itself. Clicking on each depot reveals a list of files, but the majority of people probably won't be able to ascertain what a lot of it means (myself included). It's been years since the game's last update, but consider?ing its age, there's probably not?? much to do.

No, it's probably not Half-Life 3

Given that Half-Life is approaching its 25th anniversary, there's a possibil??ity that Valve is getting ready to release an update for its maiden game. What that entails, we can't say at this stage.

We know that an RTX version of Half-Life 2 is in the works, so maybe the OG is getting similar treatment. Given its legendary status, the 1998 (November 19, to be specific) release has left quite the impact on the FPS genre, shaking things up a bit with its world building ??and environmental storytelling.

Hard to imagine that it's been around for nearly a quarter of a ce?ntury. But it's definitely nice to see that it's still getting a lot of love and attention.

Payday 3 has had a pretty rough start. With some notable issues from the moment the game came out, developer Starbreeze has been promising an update to address some major concerns. Now, after a number of delays, version 1.0.1 has launched.

If you've got the time to spare, you can check out the patch notes for the game, which lists a bunch of fixes, tweaks, and quality-of-life changes. Everything from the audio to the visuals to the UI have been given some TLC, so Payday 3 should be in a better state now.

However, for those waiting on word about a possible offline mode for the game, there's no mention of that here. That's something the developer is considering, but we don't know if or when it's likely t??o be implemented.

Why the long delay?

With trouble connecting to matches, general bugs, and the aforementioned lack of an offline mode, Payday 3 received a lot of negative feedback at launch.

Despite promising an update, Starbreeze had to push it back a bit, de??scribing the reasons for doing so as "long and complicated," with particular concerns about risks to player progression.

As of now, the game is currently showing a "Mixed" review score on Steam. Maybe that'll change now we hav??e ??the new update. But who knows?

BALANCE

For t??his patch, we wanted to primarily address minor fixes.

We are aware that Last Man Standing and Armor Up are performing a bit too well, so we plan to give them a few tweaks that keep t?hem effective, but require a bit more setup compared to the benefits they offer. This will be in the next big patch. Outside of these two skills, we don’t expect any big nerfs coming to skills in the next patch, but given players are still getting used to the game, we’ll be keeping a close? eye on the meta.

We are also aware that armor is considered the most desirable resource compared to ammo and health. We are happy with how armor itself works, but we want to put in a few more ways for players to restore it in the game. We also think health is underperforming right now, but addressing that w??ill be a gradual chang?e over the first year of updates, rather than one sweeping update.

If you've been waiting for the all-important Payday 3 patch to start rolling out, hopefully you won't have much longer to wait. While there's no release date ??for it just yet, the developer has at least tried to explain why it's taking so long.

In a post on the Payday website, Starbreeze Studios has i??ssued yet another apology, acknowledging that it's been a bit quiet recently. However, the message "lifts the curtain" a little to give some insight into what the develo??per is working on.

It turns out the reasons behind the patch being delayed are "long and complicated." As it transpires, the team has discovered "critical errors" which has lead to a "significant risk to playe?r progression being wiped" if the problems aren't add?ressed.

There's light at the end of the tunnel

Fear not, though, as the update "has been sent off and is currently going through a testing and certification process." Keep an ear out for further details as it sounds like the p??atch could be ready to launch soon. We just don't know when yet.

Upon release, Payday 3 was met with largely negative feedback. For starters, unreliable matchmaking was causing he?adaches for many players. On top of that, the game requires a constant internet connection, even when playing solo??. That alone was a thorn in many people's sides.

While the patch has been delayed a couple of times already, many will be hopeful Starbreeze will be able to resolve the issues and get it sent out. The studio may also be considering an offline mode.

[Update: Red Barrels have now said that a new update for Outlast Trials will begin rolling o??ut on October 26. A teaser trailer reveal?s a new map called the Courthouse.

While it doesn’t specifically say, it’s likely that this?? ?Halloween update will also come with the new stalker enemy mentioned yesterday. The patch will also implement additional MK challenges as well as some special rewards.

In the run-up to the scariest time of the year (no, not Black Friday...although...), many horror games are preparing to bring more spooks. No more is this true than with Outlast Trials, the newest installment in Red Barrels'?? twist?ed series.

In a recent post on Twitter/X, the developer has teased a new "objective enemy" that's being added to the game, specifically the Trial Map: Courthouse. This is all in conjunction with an upcoming update for the Outlast title. While there ??isn't a release date for the update yet, the tweet says it'll? be coming by the end of October, and we all know what that means.

As for the new enemy themselves, the disturbing image depicts a man in pain, stripped of all but hi?s underwear and wearing a makeshift helmet. Wires crisscross their exposed body, inserted into numerous parts, and the words "SHE'S GUILTY" can be seen scratched onto their leg.

Well you weren't expecting a unicorn, were you?

Alongside this, Red Barrels has restated some details about the upcoming console ports. Yes, Outlast Trials is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PS5. However, it's also getting Xbox One and PS4 versions, a?nd will also have crossplay wi?th PC.

Sadly, there's no definitive date for when these ports will be happening. All we know is the studio plans to unleash them sometim?e in "early 2024." Hopefully we'll have more information soon.

In the run-up to the end of October, many horror studios are getting some content ready for this most spookiest of seasons. One such example comes from Amnesia: The Bunker developer Frictional Games, and a new video ou??tlines the custom sett?ings coming in a soon-to-be-released update.

Over on the Frictional YouTube channel, creative lead Fredrik Olsson showcases the new "Custom Settings" mode that's coming to the latest Amnesia game.

As you'll see ??in the footage, there are a series of parameters that can be played with so you can set the game's difficulty however you want. For example: you can set it so that every time you save, fuel is used up. You can even disable saving all together. Or maybe you want to make things easier by extending ??how long the torch stays lit or the amount of resources there are.

More to come in this WW1 nightmare

This is all going to be part of the new update which, according to the video, is expected to roll out soon. However, given that it's being referred to as the "Halloween update," we can already take a guess at roughly when it'll be avai?l??able.

Along with custom settings, the Amnesia: The Bunker patch will also come with the option to hone your skills in the Training Grounds. This will allow you to have a little practice at firing your gun or throwing grenades, right before you dive on int?o the horror of the titular bunker.

There's also the new 'shell shocked' difficulty, which aims to make?? the game even harder. Because when you're hiding in the dark from a terrifying monster, what most of us are thinking is, "hmm, I wish this was somehow more stressful."

It's not been a great launch for Payday 3. As well as experiencing issues with matchmaking, the new entry in the bank-robbing FPS has also had its first major patch delayed. Now, the developer has issued yet another apology, s?aying that the anticipated update needs "additional time."

Over on Twitter, the official Payday 3 account apologized to fan?s for the "lack of communication regarding the first patch.". S?tarbreeze Studios says it's found more issues to rectify before the patch launches.

An additional post underneath notes due to the additional time needed to tend to the game, the studio can't provide an ETA on when fixes will launch just yet. A third tweet adds a suffix to this apology, saying that both the patch and some more news are inbound. We just don't know wh?en.

Maybe it'll be worth it in the end

While the studio did do some maintenance to make Payday 3's matchmaking better, one of the major criticisms with? the game is the always-online feature. This means that even if you want to play a solo campaign, you're still required to connect ??to the server.

However, there is a possibility that an offline mode could come to the game. In a previous post on Twitter/X, the team said that, becau??se of server issues at launch, "we ar??e discussing every option available to us, including offline mode."

Hopefully, Payday 3 will eventually become the game fans want it to be. At the moment, it has a "Mixed" review score on Steam, with more than a few unhappy customers. Starbreeze?? has a chance to turn things around, though.

It's been more than a hot minute since we've had a Silent Hill game. Last year's announcement that the series was making a return caused joy (and a bit of relief) in many fans' hearts. On October 6, Brazilian and Ukrainian subtitles were added, while Portuguese language support was removed, for whatever reason. Perhaps the most interesting thing to note??, however, is the change ID above that says Steam achievements have now been added.

What does this mean in terms of a release date?

Naturally, many people (myself included) may conclude that news about the remake is imminent. Obviously, there's nothing officially saying this, but these recent updates suggest we might hear something s??oon.

We still have no idea when Silent Hill 2 will release, though a website did leak a potential date a few months back. Of course, the listed date was "Sept??ember 29, 2023," which obviously did not pan out. Still, it's interesting to see activity on the Steam page only a week and a half after that date.

On top of that, it was recently revealed that Silent Hill: Ascension would begin on October 31. Ascension is the interactive SH experience that viewers can influence in real-time. We know few details about this one, so we'll learn more when it launches on ??Halloween night.

It's not uncommon these days for a AAA game to launch, get met with backlash due to many issues, and the studio runs around trying to fix things. This is true of Payday 3, which saw matchmaking errors and a lack of offline features resulting in less-than-favorable scores fo?r the game. Fortunately, developer Starbreeze is on the case, though its next update will take a bit longer than expected.

Originally intending to start rolling out this week, a Twitter post from the studio says the team is having to delay the sorely needed Payday 3 patch. The reason cited is the update "needs some changes that would require us?? to go through console certification again." That, and the team wants to "ensure its ??stability."

Unfortunately, we now have no release date for it, but the post goes on to say the developer?? should be able to send it out? mid-October.

Tuning the heist

Starbreeze did apologize for having to delay the update, with a second post underneath sayin?g that the PS5 bonus content "will remain unredeemable until this patch is ready."

On the plus side, there's going to be some additional server maintenance, so soon after the ones that occurred last weekend. An additional tweet from the official Payday 3 account says t??his maintenance will be going ahead bet?ween "8am-11am CEST on the 6th and 10th of October," and will hopefully "not be noticeable."

While it's very easy to blame the studios themselves when games are released in poor states, there are always greater factors to conside??r. From what Starbreeze has said, it sounds like the team is scrambling to get things sorted. It's a shame we're having to wait a bit longer for the update, but hopefully it just means a more substantial and stable patch.

The spooky season is not far now and many will be looking towards the horror genre for what's coming up. In light of this, Outlast Trials studio Red Barrel?s has announced some exciting things happening with its twisted co-op game.

The studio dropped a couple of posts recently on Twitter/X. One of them mentions the new edition of the Murkoff Collections comic. This is then followed by the announcement that a new update for The Outlast Trials is imminent.

While details are scarce at the minute, Red Barrels did wish to respond to questions by outlining some of the things you can look forward to. We'll be seeing a new trial map, ?some additional variators and cosmetics, as well as a new mini-game for the lobby. Plus more.

Console editions on the way

If that wasn't enough, a further post says the team has been "working on getting Trials on PS5, Xbox S/X, and older gen (PS4/Xbox One)", and PC crossplay. It's looking like the st??udio is looking to achieve this by early 2024.

As for the Outlast Trials update, we're not quite?? sure when that's going to start rolling out. However, given the time of year, it wouldn't be too surprising to see it aim for a Halloween launch or there??abouts.

The developer also says that the company has now hit 50 employees, which means there may be some more goodies on the way for the early access of the newest Outlast entry. Hopefully, we'll have more wo??rd on that in the near fu?ture.

While we've still got a few days until Phantom Liberty drops, we can at least enjoy Cyberpunk 2077's immense 2.0 update. Rolling out yesterday, the patch pro?mises somethin??g of an overhaul for CD Projekt Red's dystopian RPG.

In fact, despite a laundry list's worth of tweaks, fixes, improvements, and implementations, a post on the game's Steam page says?? that the changes are "way to?o long to publish."

Having said that, what is listed is worthy of note. From AI enhancements to an overhaul of the perks and skills to even some remixed music from Idris Elba, version 2.0 of Cyberpunk 2077 could well be the ultima??te way to experience the game.

CDPR has even said that a new save is highly recommended, given how many changes the game's been through.

Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 patch notes

COMBAT

New Police System

  • The NCPD will chase you when you commit a crime, whether on foot or in a vehicle.
  • The types of units in pursuit and their behavior will depend on your NCPD Wanted Level. These chases can include various NCPD vehicles, roadblocks and MaxTac swooping in with AVs.
  • The NCPD will now be present in the world, actively patrolling the streets of Night City. Officers working at crime scenes will now also engage in pursuits.
  • You can now hear NCPD radio chatter through the radio.
  • It's now possible to quickhack NCPD officers.

Vehicle Combat

  • Added the option to engage in combat while driving a vehicle from either first-person or third-person perspective. While driving, you can use pistols, submachine guns and health items. Some vehicles come equipped with mounted weapons. Melee combat is possible on motorcycles.
  • Vehicle tires can now be shot or slashed.
  • Introduced new Perks that unlock a variety of vehicle-related abilities such as quickhacking vehicles, increasing collision damage, boosting vehicle weaponry, allowing the use of Sandevistan and Kerenzikov cyberware, and the ability to exit moving vehicles quickly and stylishly.
  • Vehicles vary in durability. Vehicles equipped with CrystalDome technology receive additional protection.
  • You can now encounter AI-driven and randomized chases between different factions in a given district.

Combat AI Enhancements

  • We made numerous improvements to enemy AI, including:

    • Various enhancements to enemy netrunner AI.
    • Improved NPC reactions to grenades and their use of grenades.
    • Improved NPC reaction time when flanked.
    • Faster detection by enemies when you're walking or sprinting.
    • Enemies equipped with Sandevistan cyberware will now activate it to counter a player who uses their own.
    • Enemies that don't hear a silenced weapon but do notice the bullet impact will now properly investigate the source of the gunshot.
    • Made improvements for scenarios where a group of NPCs can join another group in combat against you.

Netrunning Changes

  • Added Perks to expand netrunning capabilities. For example, a new Overclock mode allows you to upload quickhacks by consuming Health if you have insufficient RAM. You can also acquire the ability to queue multiple quickhacks on a single enemy.
  • Rebalanced RAM costs.
  • Rebalanced damage and upload time. Changed the effects of some quickhacks.
  • Removed the option to use Breach Protocol on enemies.

Other

  • Health Items and grenades now have a limited number of charges that recharge over time after being used.
  • Stamina is no longer drained outside of combat for actions like sprinting, sliding and jumping. Stamina is drained when firing ranged weapons or attacking with melee weapons. Stamina cost varies by weapon.
  • Improved the Aim Assist feature.
  • Rebalanced the base game's main boss fights.
  • Introduced Armor Penetration for the base game's main bosses.
  • Removed the one-hit kill protection from civilians.

PERKS & SKILLS

  • A complete Perk tree overhaul. These trees now contain fewer perks, but impact gameplay in a more meaningful way. Progressing in a given Perk tree will allow you to unlock special abilities such as Overclock mode for netrunners, Bolt shots for Tech weapons, the Adrenaline Rush ability for Body-focused character builds, and so on. Because we introduced extensive changes to the Perk system, your spent Perk points on existing playthroughs have been refunded. You can also choose to reset your Attributes once. Feel free to redistribute these Perk and Attribute points to suit your preferred playstyle before you continue playing.
  • We merged the previous Skills into five new ones - Headhunter, Netrunner, Shinobi, Solo, Engineer. These are not restricted by their corresponding Attribute's level. On existing playthroughs, your progression on old skills has been transferred to their new counterparts. Skills unlock new passive buffs every 5 levels, and can be leveled up to a max of 60.
  • Removed the option to reset all Perks at once. Instead, it is now possible to refund each Perk individually for free.
  • Introduced new kinds of progression shards: Attribute Shards, Carrying Capacity Shards and Cyberware Capacity Shards.

CYBERWARE

  • Armor is now provided primarily by cyberware. As a result, clothing's purpose is mostly cosmetic. Clothing items no longer have mod slots, and only some items provide bonuses.
  • The number of cyberware implants your body can handle is now determined by your Cyberware Capacity.
  • Cyberware implants are now Attuned to specific Attributes - the higher the Attribute, the stronger the stat bonus.
  • You can now upgrade cyberware on the ripperdoc screen.
  • Some Cyberware slots can be unlocked by acquiring specific Perks.
  • Added multiple new kinds of Cyberware.
  • Visiting ripperdocs is now more immersive. When getting cyberware installed, you sit on an operating chair and experience different animations depending on the type of implant.
  • Added a side quest introducing the new cyberware system for players who load an older save on the 2.0 update.

WEAPONS

  • Changed the unique effects of some Iconic weapons to better reflect their distinctive features.
  • The "first equip" animation can now be triggered at any time: Hold B or double tap Alt while the weapon is holstered.
  • Added smoke grenades.
  • Added new melee weapon Finishers.
  • You can now find a Thermal Katana in the game.
  • Added new weapon mods and reworked some existing ones. Once installed in a weapon, mods are irreplaceable.
  • All obsolete weapon mods will be removed from the game. In their place you will find new, random weapon mods in your backpack. The quality of any mods added this way depends on your level.
  • Removed the silencer slot from Revolvers.
  • Removed the scope slot from Light Machine Guns.
  • Implemented a new way to craft weapon mods. To craft a mod, you must first have 2 mods of lower quality.
  • Expanded the stash wall in V's apartment to display all of the Iconic weapons from the base game.

VEHICLES

Traffic

  • NPC vehicles can now switch lanes to avoid obstacles.
  • Pedestrians will now try to avoid running into moving vehicles.
  • NPC drivers are now better at avoiding you when you are on foot.
  • Improved braking, acceleration and suspension of cars in traffic.
  • Some NPCs now might react aggressively when you hijack their vehicle.
  • Various improvements to traffic density depending on time of day and night, resulting in more realistic traffic behavior.
  • Driving with a quest-related NPC in your vehicle no longer disables traffic in the occupied lane, resulting in the feeling of a busier city.

Other

  • Fixers will no longer text you about vehicles up for sale. You now purchase vehicles via the AUTOFIXER netpage on V's computer or by using terminals located in gas stations and repair shops throughout Night City. To find these, enable the new Autofixer filter on the world map. Vehicles are sorted by manufacturer. The vehicles equipped with built-in weaponry have photos marked with a special icon. As you earn more Street Cred, you will unlock more vehicles for purchase.
  • Added new user settings to help configure vehicle camera and controls. You can now also choose between three different third-person camera distances when driving a vehicle.
  • We implemented various changes and tweaks to vehicle performance and handling:

    • New speed-sensitive steering applies to most vehicles. The max turn speed and radius adapts to different vehicle speeds better than before.
    • All engines have torque curves now, which reflect the engine’s character and any power modifiers (e.g., supercharger, turbo, hybrid, etc.). Some adjustments and balancing have been made to vehicle acceleration and top speeds.
    • Conducted a full pass on adjustments to braking force. For slower vehicles it has been dramatically increased, and all stopping distances were measured and adjusted as necessary.
    • All vehicles react better to rough terrain and impacts with curbs, meridians, etc. Vehicles feel "heavier" now, as we have improved how we apply gravity as the suspension moves.
    • Many vehicles were fully retuned or their tuning was heavily revised.
    • Multiple other small improvements.

  • Added a new "Driving" category and Driving Manual to the Database.

BALANCE & ECONOMY

NPCs

  • All NPCs now scale to your level. Enemy difficulty is no longer dependent on what area of Night City you're in.
  • Enemies will have different tiers depending on the faction they belong to.
  • Some NPC archetypes will feature Low, Medium or High armor.
  • All resistances for regular NPCs have been removed.
  • Rebalanced game difficulty to increase the challenge at higher difficulties.

Weapons

  • Weapons now scale damage based on their Tier.
  • The damage for Smart weapons has been lowered, but they now benefit from dedicated Perks.

Loot

  • Loot now scales to your level.
  • Removed excessive findable loot in the game, such as loot that distracts from scenes and quest locations.
  • NPCs no longer drop clothing.

Crafting & Upgrading

  • Crafting and upgrading now require only one type of component instead of multiple types.
  • Replaced old rarity levels (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary) with Tiers (from Tier 1 to 5++).
  • Apart from cyberware, now only Iconic weapons can be upgraded. They gain a higher Tier with each upgrade.

Vendors

  • You can now access the Wardrobe feature through clothing vendors.
  • Vendor stocks scale with your level, expanding as you reach a new Tier.
  • Updated vendor stocks so that each has a more distinctive theme and specialization.
  • Vendors no longer sell quickhack and crafting components.
  • Adjusted the prices of weapons, cyberware, apartments, clothing and more.

AUDIO

New Radio Stations

  • 89.7 Growl FM features songs created by our community. The DJ, Ash, is voiced by Sasha Grey.
  • Impulse 99.9 features a completely new set of songs remixed by Idris Elba.
  • 107.5 Dark Star is a new station for electronic music.

UI

  • The Quest Journal now has a new, cleaner look. Jobs are located in separate tabs, depending on type. The distance to each quest marker is now displayed in the Journal.
  • Added the option to untrack a quest in the Journal.
  • Overhauled the phone UI to be more intuitive.

PC-SPECIFIC

  • Added support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.5, which introduces DLSS Ray Reconstruction, a feature that improves the quality of Ray Traced effects. A GeForce RTX graphics card is required. The option is available in Settings â†?Graphics in the NVIDIA DLSS section. DLSS 3.5 is only available if Path Tracing is turned on. To make sure DLSS Ray Reconstruction works correctly on your PC, update your NVIDIA Game Ready Driver to version 537.42 at minimum.
  • [AMD SMT] Introduced a new AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT) switch located in Settings â†?Gameplay â†?Performance. It allows you to set SMT to Off (only physical cores), On (all logical cores) or Auto (ensuring the performance average across different locations and situations in game is optimal). This change was implemented in cooperation with AMD and is based on tests conducted on both sides.
  • The Crowd Density setting has been moved from the Gameplay tab to the Graphics tab. Additionally, Crowd Density is now tied to Graphics Quick Presets and will change depending on the selected preset, but it can be customized independently if needed.
  • As PC system requirements have been updated, running the game on an SSD is now a requirement on Steam Deck.
  • Updated Steam Deck graphics profile for improved frame rate stability.

Although massively controversial upon launch due to the game practically not being finished, Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way. It's a m?uch more enjoyable (and complete) experience these days, a??nd many are excited about version 2.0 of the game, as well as the DLC.

In fact, the next major patch for the game is so huge, developer CD Projekt Red (or at least its customer support) recommends a new save. A post on Twitter/X says that while 2.0 will let you continue your current Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough, a fresh start is recommended.

The post goes on to say that? this is down to the sheer amount of c?hanges that have been made to the game for this next update, which releases September 21.

Then there's Phantom Liberty

A few days after Cyberpunk 2.0, CDPR will also be releasing Phantom Liberty. This new bit of content will be available from September 26, bringing with it a new area, characters, story, quests, gigs, boss fights, and more. Oh, also Idris Elba voices a cha??racter.

When the game originally came out at the end of 2020, it was met with immense backlash due to the poor state of the released product. It was so bad that Sony pulled the game from its di?gital store and began issuing refunds.

CD Project Red's otherwise stellar reputation was ruined overnight. Fortunately, after a series of immense bug fixes, Cyberpunk 2077 finally became the game it was meant to ??be. Which is good, because no one would have wanted DLC of a game that was too buggy ?to play.
