When it comes to having a cheeky gaming session, t??he Wii U might not be your first choice in terms of chosen platf??orm. However, just because it’s an older platform, that doesn’t mean there aren’t a huge number of absolutely incredible games to play on it. 

I have fond memories of my Wii U, although sadly, it died a child’s drink spillage-related death a few years ago. It’s been a while since I ??picked one up, but I can sti??ll vividly remember playing on it for hours. Most of those hours were pumped into a select few games, so with that knowledge, here are my 10 favorite titles on the Wii U, in no particular order. 

Bayonetta 2

Nintendo is often considered to be the most family-friendly of all gaming platforms, so the fact that Bayonetta 2 (and the first game) exists on the platform is still something that I can’t quite wrap my head around. It�?�s filled with expletives right from the very beginning, is filled to the brim with fan service animat?ions that do nothing to progress the story, and is as far from family-friendly as you can possibly get. 

However, it does exist, and it’s incredibly fun to play. The hack-and-slash gameplay is weirdly addictive, and if y??ou look past?? the astonishing amount of jiggle physics, you might even enjoy the story. Or, you know, if you’re into that kind of thing, then you might not even need to pay attention to the story. To each their own. 

ZombiU

Look, I know, zombies and games involving them have been done to death (no pun intended, but I’ll take all the puns I can get). However, ZombiU has stood the tes?t of time in terms of anxiety induction, and there’s something it has that can’t be said about many other human-eating-walking-corpse titles �?permadeath. 

Waking up in a London filled with flesh-chomping undead creepers is bad enough, but progressing through the story only to die and wake up as someone entirely different is definitely a frustration. Not to mention the fact that if you want to get your stuff back from your former self, you’ll?? probably have to kill them, which isn’t ideal if you become attached to who you once were. 

Yoshi’s Woolly World

T??here has always been something undeniably cute and comforting about Yoshi. He’s a dinosaur with huge eyes and a bright, happy smile. Now take that cuteness and convert it into crochet, and everyone’s favorite dino becomes infinitely more adorable. 

Everything in Yoshi’s Woolly World has a touch of arts and crafts to it, with springy tree trunks, knitted backdrops, and, of course, Yoshi in all his crocheted glory. The aim of the game is to retrieve the stolen yarn pieces from Kamek, who rather handily h?as dropped a bunch of pieces while making his escape, in order to knit your friends back together.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I think it would be almost criminal to write up a list of the best Wii U games and not include a Zelda game, and Breath of the Wild is definitely the stand-out title that was released for the platform. Some of you might not even know that it wasn’t a Switch ex??clusive release because I’d forgotten until looking into what to include here. 

Breath of the Wild is often heralded as the best Zelda game to date, and for good reason. It was the first fully open-world title and is filled with beautiful areas to explore, collectibles to discover, and quests to complete. If you’re looking for a Zelda g??ame to play on the Wii U, then this would definitely be my first recommendation. 

Xenoblade Chronicles X

If you’re struggling to wait for the release of Xenoblade Chronicles X on Nintendo Switch next year, then you can fork out for a Wii U (unless you already have your old one; how very forward-thinking of you) and play Xenoblade Chronicles X on it. 

Xenoblade Chronicles X allows you to explore the expansive open world of Mira, consisting of five wildly different continents that are unlocked as you progress and complete quests alongside a party of fellow BLADE members. And,?? if exploration and q?uest completion weren’t enough to make you want to play, there’s also a number of Skell mechs that can be purchased and upgraded in the latter half of a playthrough. 

Mario Kart 8

Mario Kart 8 is either a fond memory or a frustrating experience that you never want to repeat?? again, depending on your skill level and whether or not you chose to play with the people who claim to love you yet throw every power-up possible in your direction. As you can tell, I fall into the “frustrating experience�?camp on this one. 

With that said, there’s no denying that Mario Kart 8 is incredibly fun to play solo or with friends who might go a little easier on you than mine did. You can choose your difficulty, pick your driver and vehicle, and then try to come first. It’s not limited to characters from just the Mario universe, either. You can race as characters from other franchises like The Legend of Zelda or Splatoon or even go in as your own Mii. 

Assassin’s Creed III

Assassin’s Creed III was released on multiple platforms back in 2012, including the Wii U. It centered around Ratonhnaké ton (or Connor, if you want to make things easier on yourself), an assassin in Colonial America at around the time of the American Revolution. As a bit of a history nerd, this is the kind of Assassin’s Creed that sparks a huge amount of joy in me. 

Of course, Assassin’s Creed III was filled with freerunning and parkour adventures, but it also introduced something new �?naval gameplay. Connor becomes the captain of the Aquila, and it can be upgraded and improved with new weapons, armor, and crew. Admittedly, the ship part of Assassin’s Creed III was my least favorit??e part of the? game, but I’ve come to learn that I might be in the minority on that front. 

Pikmin 3

As with all Pikmin games, the third in the series is filled with fights, puzzles, and an endless grind of resource gathering. The cuteness of the Pikmin is ever-present, and there’s something incredibly addictive about this one, w??hich would explain why I’ve replayed it about five times in the last decade. 

Along with the well-loved Red, Yellow, and Blue Pikmins, Pikmin 3 introduces a couple of new colors with their own skills - Grey Pikmin, which can destroy barriers and ?are immune to crush damage, and pink Winged Pikmin, which can attack from the skies and also soar through them over obstacles that would otherwise be impassable. 

Super Smash Bros. 

There are two types of people when it comes to playing Super Smash Bros. - those who memorize the combinations and inevitably win every battle, and tho?se who button mash as if their life depends on it and while they may lose the battle, they enjoy the therapeutic process of try?ing to stay on the platforms. 

One of the best things about Super Smash Bros. is the number of characters from different franchises. There are playable characters from Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Xenoblade Chronicles, Duck Hunt, and even Wii Fit of all things. And these are just in the base game, never mind downloadable characters like Cloud Strife and Sega from Bayonetta. There’s endless fun to be had with Super Smash Bros., and?? poss??ibly some arguments, so try not to take it too seriously. 

Rayman Legends

Rayman Legends is another title that has been released on various platforms, including the Wii U. It’s a local co-op platformer that is capable of inciting a huge amount of frust??ration. However, regardless of how frustrated it might make you, you forgive it because it’s addictive, and getting through each level leaves you feeling accomplished. 

Events in Rayman Legends take place a whole century after those of Rayman Origins, and you’ll need to travel across worlds and defeat world bosses in order to complete the story. Collecting Teensies unlocks new worlds, and there are new playable characters to unlock along the way, such as Barbara t??he Barbarian Princess and her various family members.

Although the shutdown of the Nintendo Network this past April meant people couldn't play 3DS and Wii U games online anymore, a subset of fans challenged themselves to see how long they could stay connected in specific games until they're forcibly ejected. As of June 16, that total number has dropped from three to two after the final Splatoon on Wii U ??player revealed they lost their connect?ion.

In April, Twitter user Lcd101 somehow managed to stay online in the first Splatoon. They obviously couldn't play any multiplayer matches since the matchmaking servers were down and there was no one else to play with, but they could still access the in-game shops and view news updates. Their streak had to end eventually, though, and that's just what happened according to a recent Twitter post.

Lcd101 managed to hang on for 68 days until their connection dropped, which is a ridiculously long time. Some may not see the point behind such a feat, but if anyone decides to chronicle Splatoon 1's history in the future, Lcd101's accomplishment is going to get a mention. "Words cannot express how amazing it’s been to wake up every day and see you cheering me on. You’ve made me the luckiest squid (or octo) online and I’m just so thankful for all of your love. I’ve made so many friends over the last two months, friends that I hope to keep forever," they wrote.

Just last month, the final Xenoblade Chronicles X player also lost their online connection, meaning there are only two people left still connected to the Nintendo Network. According to Twitter user Gaffs, those players are Fishguy6564 on Mario Kart 7 and SlitherySheep on Super Mario Maker. I, for one, am definitely intrigued to see how?? much longer these two will stay online. Could they make it to the end of June? Maybe all summer? Whatever the case, a very passionate subset of Nintendo fans is hooked on this saga and ther?e will certainly be a sense of melancholy once it comes to a close.

You'd think after Nintendo ?shut down the Nintendo Network servers for the 3DS and Wii U in April, even the most die-hard of players would move on. Yet here we are, over a month later, and there's reportedly three people who are somehow still connected to the Nintendo Network, and it on?ly recently used to be four.

This is according to Twitter user Gaffs, who runs a Nintendo Network After Hours Discord and has been documenting the aftermath of the servers being shutdown. One of the players, Lcd101, we already reported on last month as they've been sharing daily updates on what Splatoon 1 looks like now that its online features don't work. The other two are Fishguy6564 in Mario Kart 7 and SlitherySheep in Super Mario Maker.

A fourth player, xc_omoroid on Twitter, used to part of this exclusive crowd, having stayed connected to the servers for RPG Xenoblade Chronicles X. Although it's primarily a single-player game, Xenoblade Chronicles X did boast online functionality, allowing players to share their custom characters so others could use them in their party. Thankfully, the game is still functional even with??out the servers, but xc_omoroid decided to see how long they could stay online following the shutdown.

They were finally booted from the game on May 21, which they consider a "miracle" since Xenoblade Chronicles X's netcode apparently wasn't very good; they even describe it as the worst of any Wii U game. In a follow-up post, they said they also managed to beat all the online exclusive content, assuring they'll forever have a truly complete save file. Honestly, this reminds me how I never got round to playing Xenoblade Chronicles X myself and, even thoug?h the servers are gone, I'm half tempted to dig out my old copy.

I have to imagine the remaining three players won't stay connected to their respective games for much longer. Then again, I would've thought that one week after the servers shut down and yet ??they've lasted for over a month. At this rate, they could make it well into June. Whatever the case, they will be booted eventually, and then it will truly be an end of an era.

On April 8, Nintendo shut down online functionality for the 3DS and Wii U, meaning you can no longer use online features for any games released for those platforms. Despite this, however, a single Splatoon fan on Wii U has managed to stay online.

As spotted by GamesRadar, Twitter user Lcd101, who identifies themselves as "the final Splatoon 1 player online," revealed on April 9 they were somehow able to stay connected to the Nintendo Network, sharing images of the game's matchmaking to prove it. Strangely, maps would continue to rotate as Splatoon tried and failed to find other players for Lcd10??1 to match against.

It wasn't until April 23, 15 days after the Nintendo Network shutdown, that Lcd101 was finally booted from the lobby, meaning Splatoon 1's matchmaking servers are well and truly dead. However, Lcd101 is still able to access the shops, which require an online connection, and the news updates from Callie and Marie continue to run as well. "I am still online, but the lobby gives me the error code for maintenance, 106-0811. I intend to stay online in this state for as long as possible," tweeted Lcd101.

At this point, I'm just curious to see how much longer Lcd101 can hold on for. Sure, there's nothing for them to do with Splatoon's online features disabled, but there's something oddly fascinating seeing one player standing alone in the video game equivalent of a ghost town. Like we're getting a peek behind the curtain at something we shouldn't be allowed to see anymore. At some point, though, Lcd101 will be kicked out, well and truly putting Splatoon 1 to rest, at least in an official capacity.

You'd think fans would have left the original Splatoon long ago, especially with Splatoon 3 not only being the current hotness, but also on a more popular and widely available console. It's great to see fans preserving games and content that otherwise would've died from this shutdown, such as Dragon Quest 7's DLC maps.

After it was revealed that one of the final Super Mario Maker levels on 3DS and Wii U that had never been beaten was c?heated, Team 0% went ahead and beat it anyway.

Nintendo announced last year that it would shut down all 3DS and Wii U online servers on April 8, 2024. Since then, Team 0% has been working tirelessly to complete every Super Mario Maker level before those servers go down and the game is un?playable. A month or so ago, they were left with one level to go, Trimming the Herbs, but it was then revealed that the level was cheated and illegitimate. But that didn't stop the group from completing it.

A couple of weeks ago, Team 0% reached the point where there was just one Super Mario Maker left for it to complete: Trimming the Herbs. The group has been tracking this with a website anyone can check. After Trimming the Herbs gained traction on social media, the original creator, Ahoyoo, published a series of posts explaining how they'd? used speedrunning tech to help them complete it and get it uploaded.

For those who don't know, Super Mario Maker levels can't be uploaded unless the creator can complete th??em to avoid any impossible levels hitting the servers. Ahoyoo claims they made this level for competition and intentionally used speedrunning technology, informing the judges of the competition ahead of time, but it was uploaded regardless.

With this win, Team 0% has completed its goal: successfully finishing every user-generated Super Mario Maker level. Whether in some fit of madness or stubbornness, user sanyx91smm2 took it upon themselves to keep trying and finally completed Trimming the Herbs two days before the server shutdown. Their video reaction is? priceless and exactly how I'd sound in this situation.

As a result, Team 0%'s website now? has a 101% completion rate?? because, against all odds, it has also added a cheated level to those it completed. This is a true world first because not even this level's creator could finish it, and I can't think of a more fitting end to this quest.

Furthermore, if the bounties on this level, which grew greatly before it was revealed to be cheated, are upheld, sanyx91smm2 stands to be paid $2,500 in cash and $1,100 in gift cards alongside a selection of other promised rewards for a human completion of Trimming the Herbs. After months of pushing to finish every Super Mario Maker 1 level before 3DS and Wii U servers close forever, the final one has been cle??ared, though it's on a technicality instead of skill.

Team 0%, a group of Super Mario Maker 1 and 2 players dedicated to clearing every level in both games, has been working for weeks to complete the final few levels from the first game before servers make it impossible to play. Nintendo announced last year that it would shut down all 3DS and Wii U servers in early April 20??24. This spurred Team 0% on to complete every le??vel sooner, but its final win has come more as a wet fart than a bang.

Super Mario Maker 1's Trimming the Herbs level was cheated

For the last week or so, the only level Team 0% hadn't managed to com??plete was Trimming the He??rbs. This level is incredibly challenging, and as of yesterday, it was revealed that it was actually somehow cheated. For context, you have to complete any level you make in Super Mario Maker before it can be uploaded because the servers w??ould be flooded with impossible levels and ruin the fun otherwise.

The level's creator, Ahoyo, owned up to the fact that Trimming the Herbs is an illegitimate level and was still uploaded to the Super Mario Maker 1 servers. There's a lot of lingo in the thread they've used ?to explain what happened that makes the situation seem more confusing than it is, so I'll simplify it for? you.

Trimming the Herbs was created and uploaded in 2017. Ahoyo planned to raise awareness of it as a super difficult level and then reveal that TAS (tool-assisted speedruns) existed for Super Mario Maker 1. However, not all went as planned, and Trimming the Herbs flew under the radar until t??his year, when Team 0% popularized it in its effort to complete it before early April.

So why didn't this cause a huge amount of backlash for Ahoyo? Well, over the ??past week. It seems to have done just that. I'm not exactly sure why the level wasn't flagged sooner. Allegedly, it was shown during the competition it was made for, and the TAS exploit was revealed to the judges ahead of their viewing, so it should have been caught then.??

Ahoyo has apologized for causing havoc but I don't think the blame lies entirely with them. Other illegitimate levels have been uploaded to Super Mario Maker and disqualified by Team 0% in its efforts before, so this is nothing new. What it means is that Team 0% completed its mammoth task? with its clearance of The Last Dance, and th?at should be recognized as a huge achievement.

Fans aren't actually that angry about Trimming the Herbs using tools. The fact that it was uploaded at all is impressive and shows that Nintendo's system for the game is flawed. I think the best way to look at this is as a complete record of Super Mario Maker 1. A group of players took it upon themselves to explore every legitimate level before the game was lost forever due to its server de??pendence, and that's ama??zing.

Trimming the Herbs is a fun footnote in the archive of levels Team 0% has put together. It's a positive outcome that goes even further? than what this community was aiming to do because it's uncovered?? a drama, heist, or mystery that no one actually knew existed. While many of us would obviously rather Nintendo didn't shut down servers and kill games in this way, that act has brought people together and created a fantastic story intrinsically linked to those servers. In one way, they'll never truly die because this story can live on forever.

When Super Mario Maker was initially released for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in 2015, it's hard to say if Nintendo knew exactly what it was setting itself up for. Opening up the opportunity for fans to create their own Mario levels and upload them for the community to play is a fun concept, and everyone was able to find something they loved about it??.

However, as we draw closer to Nintendo's server shutdown, players are racing to complete as many levels as possible before they're taken away. In fact, one group is taking this so far that they're just one level away from having completed every level in Super Mario Maker. This level, "Trimming the Herbs," may just be the toughest in the g?ame's history.

Why do players want to complete every Super Mario Maker level?

There are a ridiculous number of levels in Super Mario Maker, made by both die-hard players and professional game devs alike. While the sequel may have drawn most players away, there's been a ??dedicated group continuing to make and play levels in the original release.

Late last year, Nintendo announced it would be ending server support for the 3DS and Wii U on April 9, 2024, at 9 AM JST. This means that all games with online elements will become unplayable, including Super Mario Maker. With just under a month to go, a small community is working together to complete every level. You can actually check out the progress they??'ve made ??????????????????????????on their official website.

At the time of writing, 99.99% of all levels have been completed. The only one that remains is called "Trimming the Herbs," and it's an absolute nightmare.

I was never good at Mario platformers, but even I can understand that this level is pretty much impossible. In order to upload a level for others to play in Super Mario Maker, you had to complete it yourself. That's what makes this so infuriating for those trying to get throug??h it. The level is clearly possible, but it requires such frame-perfect play that you almost need the blueprint of where to go and when to get through it.

There's some discussion out there about the level having clears registered on it. However, those have been detected as cheats because there's something in the results that gives them away. Those results show th??at a user simply changed the code to tell the game the player has completed them.

That being said, the community seems confident "Trimming?? the Herbs" will be completed before Nintendo shuts down the 3DS and Wii U servers forever. It feels like this group is one discovery away from making a major breakthrough, and it really is, depending on how you look at it. Humans have always had an intrinsic need to explore, uncover mysteries, and map out their surroundings. That's exactly what's happening here, just with the user-created levels of an incredibly popular Mario title.

Time marches forward, and with it, gaming must also keep itself relevant. A few months back, we talked about how Nintendo was ending online support for two of its now-defunct consoles. A recent update from the company has since n??arrowed down exactly when that's going to be happening.

As of April 8 �?at exactly 4 p.m. PDT �?most online services for the 3DS and Wii U will be shut down for good. That's according to a recent Twitter post, which leads to a customer support page that goes into more detail.

The information says the discontinuation will be for the following: New Nintendo 3DS, New 3DS XL, New 2DS XL, 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS, Wii U Deluxe, and Wii U Basic. This will affect "online co-operative play, internet rankings, and data distribution." A second tweet says it's possible to "merge your unused Nintendo eShop balance to your Nintendo Account" for use on the Switch. Details about that can be found here.

A number of caveats

While the servers themselves are being turned off, Ninten?do does say that players "will still be able to use features and game modes that do not require online communication." It also won't be ending the? StreetPass feature for now, as that uses local communication and doesn't require online connectivity.

For the time being, you will still be able to update and redownload purchased games, and the service shutdown won't have an immediate impact on Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter. People should still be able to download upda??te data and redownload purchased software and DLC from the eShop. Again, that can all change in the future.

I was honestly surprised online was still supported for the Wii U and 3DS. The latter was discontinued in 2020, while the former's lifecycle was ended back in 2017, almost seven years ago. Shows how muc?h I have my finger on the pulse of outdated Nintendo conso?les.

No matter how much you might dislike the genre or Mario as a concept, it has plenty of way?s to win you over. It's also perfect for folks newer to RPGs as a whole and there are enough hooks present for veterans.

If you're already on board or can't be swayed, there's plenty of other stuff to sift through too. Persona 5 Tactica and Bluey: The Videogame both arrive on November 17; and Howl, Backpack Hero, Passpartout 2: The Lost Artist, and Enjoy the Diner all came out as a result of the recent Indie World Showcase.

Hogwarts Legacy kind of came and went earlier this year (twice, if you count the PS4/Xbox One ports), and now it's about to release a third time: on Switch. It's due out on November 14, and depending on who you ask, the below debut game trailer is either miraculous or messy. It really depends on your taste in Switch ports. The real test is going to be how it plays and if it can maintain a consistent framerate.

Super Crazy Rhythm Castle will offer some counterprogramming. Described as a "chaotic rhythm adventure," this single-system multiplayer game looks promising. It's out on November 14. Plus, a bunch of? other games are out between now and the next week, so check them all out below!

There's quite a bit of variety coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop this week, and I'm not even counting the cavalcade of games below! Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the clear headliner, and we have a review for it! It seems as if Nintendo has brought back 2D Mario in style, ?and I can't wait to give it a shot with some friends.

Every so often, I think of how crazy Sega's Dreamcast era was. It came out with a huge bang, then fizzled so hard that Sega got out of the console game completely. Given that I still play my Genesis/Mega Drive, Sega CD, and Dreamcast in my spare time, it's like it never died: but it did! That's why it's so amazing to me that the Sonic franchise has not only endured but is constantly debuting on a system run by its former competitor, Nintendo. All that to say: Sonic Superstars is the main eShop game coming out this week, and will be out on ??October 17.

Beyond that, Fotnite, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Overwatch 2, Fall Guys, and Apex Legends are all running Halloween events, ??which you can read about below:

It's a tradition that as hardware ages, companies will stop supporting it with new releases, and eventually online services shut down. It has been a slow death for the 3DS and the Wii U which had their eShops shut down this year. The next step in phasing out these devices will come in April 2024 when Nintendo shuts down online services for software on the platforms.

In short, this means that online ??play and anything else that requires the internet will no longer be available for the 3DS and Wii U. Nintendo has clarified that a more specific date for the shutdown will be revealed later.

What happens after online services are shut down for 3DS and Wii U?

Let's start with what won't be getting axed. The shutdown of online services on the 3DS and Wii U won't stop you from playing single-player offline games. You won't lose your library either because "it will?? still be possible to download?? update data and redownload purchased software and downloadable content from Nintendo eShop."

StreetPass will still be fully functional, as t?hat relies on local communication, though you will lose SpotPass. ??You'll also be losing the following:

• online co-operative play
• internet rankings
• data distribution

Pokemon players can breathe a sigh of relief, as Pokemon Bank will still have access to online services, though "that may also end at some point in the future.??"

The shutdown of online services is unfortunate but unavoidable too. It does seem that Nintendo is freeing up resources as it looks to its future which, if reports are to be believed, may feature a Switch successor as soon as next year.

It's a fairly big week for the Nintendo eShop, as Mortal Kombat 1 is hitting the figurative stands, and is technically available now in early access with the typically-WB exclusive Shang Tsung character. Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster are out today, and Gloomhaven launches on Switch on September 18.

The latter is a really interesting release, as it's a port of the d??igitized version of Gloomhaven proper: a massively successful board ?game Kickstarter that launched in 2017. Having played through the entire campaign I can attest to how fun it is with the right group, and while the digital version doesn't quite hit the same for me, it's fun to play through bite-sized missions on the go.

It's a great week for indies on the Nintendo eShop, as Fae Farm (September 8) headlines a pretty impressive set of games that will be arriving through September 13. Super Bomberman R 2 and Gunbrella are dropping on that exact day, with MythForce (that Saturday morning cartoon-inspired game) launching just a day earlier on September 13.

In what is decidedly not an indie release, NBA 2K24 rounds out the week on September 8. Hey, variety is the spice of life! Rune Factory 3, which debuted in 2009 on DS (wow!), is getting the remaster treatment for Switch. It's out on September 5, and will bring the farming/combat hybrid series back into the fray. So what's new? Well, there's a "newlywed mode," which entails standalone quests based on the 11 people you can marry in the game; as well as a "hell difficulty" setting. Given how much there is to do in the game already, that's not a bad deal. Chants of Sennaar is also out, which has a wild premise and an interesting art? style.

Remember Samba de Amigo? No longer relegated to serving as a racing game cameo who was once prominently featured in a fr??anchise of old: the monkey with attitude returns in Samba de Amigo: Party Central on Switch.

Sea of Stars is also out on August 29, and fascinatingly, serves as a prequel to Sabotage Studio's wild 2018 project The Messenger. In other Switch eShop news, Quake II was surprised-released, and we even reviewed it (on PC)! This classic still holds up, but if you want something newer, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is out on August 18. Here's the gist of this extremely Jet Set Radio-looking game: "Red is a graffiti writer who lost his head and instead has an AI robohead. In search of his roots, he joins the Bomb Rush Crew, Tryce and Bel, who are aiming to go All City. Together they discover who it was that cut off his head? and how deepl?y Red’s human side is linked to the graffiti world."

In a bizarre move, Red Dead Redemption will be available on Nintendo Switch for $49.99 on August 17, and uh, the reaction to that price has been "mixed," to put it lightly! I mean, I guess it does have the Undead Nightmare DLC and the Game of the Year bonus content, but you can get? all of that and more for much cheaper on other platforms. The Switch version (alongside the upcoming PS4 edition) also does not include multip??layer capabilities. In any case, the choice is yours.

Moving Out 2 is the other major release, and that's out on August 15. This is a day-and-date release with other platforms, which is always nice to see. Oh, and t??here are tons of other things out if you want to comb through the below list!

The time has come once again for another fabled third party Switch exclusive to hit the eShop, and this time, we're getting Disney Ilusion Island. We actually have a full review up ??for it, so if you're interested, check it out! It's a particularly interesting game in that it offers up four player co-op with d?ifficulty sliders for individual players. In other words, it's made for the whole family.
