Lancetfish can be fished from the Forgotten Lands. It's the hardest biome to reach in Disney Dreamlight Valley, unfortunately, and will require a lot of Dreamlight to unlock. Once you've finally reached the dark area, fish from the ponds in the area?? and look for blue ripples. This is where the Lancetfish lurk. You may get other kinds of fish from the catch too but be persistent. I was able to find mine the first tim??e, however.

Tomatoes and their seeds can be bought at Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach. The seeds can be bought for 8 Star Coins each from one of Mickey's best friends. You may be lucky because the tomatoes themselves may be up for sale too. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case today for me. You might also find a fresh Tomato from Wall-E's garden; thankfully, luck was on my side this time. They're also used as a Ratatouille ingredient.

Shrimp can be caught while fishing at Dazzle Beach nearby Goofy's Stall, thankfully. Catching two of them is easier to do for any kind of seafood addition, but if you have any spare Squid in your inventory you mig?ht as well use that. While trying to catch Shrimp, look for blue ripples in the ocean.

Lastly, Rice can be bought at Goofy's Stall in the Glade of Trust. You can buy the seeds for 35 Star Coins each or the ingredient itself for 92 Star Coins??. It's worth the extra money?? to just get the ingredient, but if you want to save money, you can grow the Rice yourself.

Where to cook

You can cook your meal at any stove in Disney Dreamlight Valley. There??'s one in your house or if you've finished Remy's realm in the castle, at Chez Remy. Throw?? all of the ingredients in the pot, and you should have your Lancetfish Paella. Bon appetite!

Viewing your Combat Record stats in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is simple. Follow these steps to keep track:

The Halo series is as well known for its epic campaign missions as it is for its awesome selection of multiplayer maps. For well over two decades, both Bungie and 343 Industries have crafted unforgettable campaign experiences, which are (??mo??stly) centered around the story of the Master Chief.

We know Halo levels are great, but which ones are the cream of the crop? I've whittled them down to the 10 best Halo campaign missions of all time - I reckon there are some surprisi?ng? choices you won't expect here.

10. Midnight

• Game: Halo 4

It should come as no surprise to learn that Halo 4's Midnight is the only 343 Industries mission on this list. The mission begins with a Star Wars-esque trench run unlike anything the series has seen before, almost resembling Star Fox in its gameplay approach.

It then moves to an intense, non-stop combat sequence as Halo 4 hurtles towards its conclusion. Combined? with Neil Davidge's thundering track, "Arrival," this sequence arguably does a better job of making you feel like an unstoppable Spartan than anything el?se in the series. It's 343's best work in the series' campaigns, topped off with an emotional climax involving Cortana.

9. Mombasa Streets

• Game: Halo 3: ODST

It's a little cheeky to call Halo 3: ODST's Mombasa Streets a mission. I?t's more of a hub for you to wander and get lost in the streets of New Mombasa, solving the mystery of the rookie's missing squadmates.

Mombasa Streets oozes atmosphere at every turn, more so than any level in the Halo series. Marty O'Donnell's piercing saxophone soundtrack creates an overwhelming feeling of loneliness, while the dark of the night makes it feel as though danger awaits around every corner (and it does). There's even?? an AI embedded into the city's technology, which directs you away from? danger by lighting up street signs.

8. Assault on the Control Room

• Game: Halo: Combat Evolved

By far Halo: Combat Evolved's longest mission, Assault on the Control Room is proof tha??t variety is the spice of life. This level allows you to use every single vehicle in the game, including the Scorpion for the first and only time. Every weapon, too, except f??or the shotgun.

It's this variety that makes Assault on the Control Room stand out among other Halo missions. Like it or not, you're forced to take part in every different combat s??tyle here - vehicular, long-ranged, and close-quarters. It finds a delicate balance perfectly.

7. Halo

• Game: Halo 3

Halo 3's final mission, Halo, earns its spot here based on the thrilling Warthog finale alone. As the ?game (and Bungie's entire trilogy) comes to an end, you must commandeer a Warthog through an epic run of obstacles.

Moving through the level, the entire Halo installation is collapsing around you. Explosions, falling floors - go too slow, and you're doomed. It's a perfect throwback to Halo: Combat Evolved's own Warthog run in The Ma??w, but b?etter in every way.

6. Coastal Highway

• Game: Halo 3: ODST

Bungie really nails a final mission, huh? Halo 3: ODST's Coastal Highway largely take?s place on the titular highway. Throughout, you protect the slow-mo?ving Elephant from defending Covenant forces, while the chaos of the Battle of Earth erupts around you, perfectly capturing the sense of impending doom.

It culminates in one final standoff at the entrance of the Uplift Nature Reserve. You and your squad face waves of incoming Covenant forces, like an intense game of Firefight. It's one final stand while awaiting rescue, capping off a near-perfect Halo mission.

5. Halo

• Game: Halo: Combat Evolved

It's another level called Halo. In another Halo game. It makes sense, I promise. Halo set the standard for what the series' level design looks like at its best, with a vast open mission that sees you rescuing marines from various structures across the map. It's a great mix of Warthog gameplay and close-quarters combat, introducing you to various Halo: Combat Evolved mechanics early.

If the previous mission, The Pillar of Autumn, set the expectation that Halo: Combat Evolved was going to be yet another corridor shooter (as was prevalent in early 2000s FPS games), then Halo shattered it immediately. It represents a near-series best for Halo campaign missions right at the very beginning.

4. The Silent Cartographer

• Game: Halo: Combat Evolved

The Silent Cartographer opens with a blast. An iconic beach scene that, I promise, felt more im??pressive then than it does now. For many players, The Silent Cartographer's opening was the moment they realized they were playing something truly special.

The rest of the level rules, too, offer great variety between short outdoor vehicle sections and well-designed interior combat encounters. But the opening assault on the beach as you storm out of the Warthog is the centerpiece here??.

3. Metropolis

• Game: Halo 2

Metropolis is the only Halo 2 mission on this list, but it's number 3 for a reason. It's a short level, but one so action-packed you can't ignore it. You start Metropolis on a bridge with a Scorpion, blasting your way across it with ease. Is it challenging? No. But it's awesome, and isn't that what really matters?

After the bridge section, you find yourself in the inner city, the Metropolis, if you will. Mos??t players make their way through the city in the provided Gauss Warthog, emphasizing Metropolis' vehicle-heavy gameplay. Then you board a Scarab! It's the definition of "short and sweet."

2. The Ark

• Game: Halo 3

The Ark is Halo 3 at its best. Starting ??out with a sniping sequence, it then moves from one chaotic vehicle setpiece to another. Not to mention the epic Scarab fight, which, by the end of this colossal mission, fee??ls more like a reward than a challenge.

The highlight of The Ark is the landing of the enormous Forward Un??to Dawn frigate, which descends upon you while blowing away everything in its path. As it casts its massive shadow over you, it's immediately clear you're witnessing one of the coolest video game moments ever. If you know, you know.

1. The Covenant

• Game: Halo 3

That the two mission run of The Ark and The Covenant make up the top two spots on this list is a miracle. The latter half of Halo 3??'s campaign is remarkable, and The Covenant is where it all peaks.

From Warthog gameplay, Hornet combat, and a great mix of tight hallway gunplay and open battlefields to fight on, The Covenant has it all. It all culminates in that fight against two Scarabs simultaneously, resulting in the best setpiece the series has ever produced. Forget the Halo series - The Covenant is one of the best FPS missio??ns ever made.

Group passwords are the backbone of Elden Ring's multiplayer scene. Whether you and our friends are playing the game's box-standard multiplayer mode or using one of the many incredible mods ?fans hav?e made to trick it out, you'll need passwords to explore the Land Between as a team.

Luckily, group passwords are much more than a way to join a group for cooperative multiplayer or PVP. Many Elden Ring group passwords significantly buff the number of Runes you get when you defeat one of the game's shard-bearing bosses. Some of these pass?words give you a boost of up to 5%, so you and your frien?ds could end up squeezing a few more level-ups out of the game's most epic bosses.

Specific passwords also come with other effects, including unique summon signs, varying amounts of bloodstains, and the chance to run into hostile phantoms. Here are some of the best co-op codes in Elden Ring.

How to use group passwords in Eldren Ring

After popping open the menu and selecting Multiplayer, you can press Triangle on PS4/PS5 to change your password Settings �from here, you can enter a Multiplayer Password or a Group Password. The latt??er is your ticket to scoring more Runes.

You can input up to five group passwords during a session, but you don't have to fill every slot. Having multiple group passwords active can lead to strange results, so think ca??refully before you i?nput co-op codes.

While group passwords only need to be typed once (and you can change or remove them whenever with no penalty or restriction), they won't automaticall?y carry ?from one character to the next; if you've got a bunch of alt characters, you'll need to fill out the passwords again for each individual tarnished.

This is probably something I should've looked into before finishing Elden Ring, but I guess that's what subsequent playthroughs are for! I've been dominating the living?? room TV with this game, so I should cool it for now. (The keyword being "should.")

I always love hearing about no-brainer tips that are easily overlooked. They're small advice tidbits, yet they're impactful over time and make you do a double-take for failing to notice them. For my fellow Stardew Valley fans who enjoy caring for animals, thi??s one goes out to you.

Caring for animals, at least in Stardew, is simple. Despite this, it can be overwhelming for new players who just?? want to farm fruits and vegetables forever. Fortunately, we have a o??ne-stop shop for all the animal care info you'll ever need.

Where to buy animals in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley offers multiple ways for you to unlock? pets and farm animals. Below is every animal you can purchase or obtain throughout your playthrough:

• Dog, cat, and turtles
• Horses
• Chicken
• Duck
• Rabbit
• Cows
• Goat
• Sheep
• Pig
• Ostrich
• Dinosaurs
• Slimes

After earning at least 1,000 gold in your playthrough, Marnie will approach your farm, asking if you want to adopt a dog or cat. For the most part, your choice is final unless you buy Butterfly Powder from Krobus. From Year Two onward, you can buy a pet license from Mar??nie at her ranch, allowing you to unlock turtles or buy more cats and dogs.

Speaking of Marnie's Ranch, her shop is the key to unlocking other animals. After building a barn or coop on your farm through Robin's Carpen?ter, head to Marnie's Ranch south of the farm to buy some animals. Below is every animal option and their prices:

The exception to this is dinosaurs, ostriches, and golden chickens. Ostriches require you to get Ostrich Eggs from solving Ginger Island's tenth journal scrap or opening Volcano Dungeon chests, making them one of the rarest animals in Stardew Valley. Dinosaur Eggs are slightly easier to find, as they spawn in artifact spots around the mountain, fishing treasure chests, and from Pepper Rex drops. Lastly, Golden Chickens are a Perfection reward, requiring you to 100 percent Stardew Valley to unlock.

Another exception is slimes. As you explore the mines and defeat slimes, there's a small chance you'll pick up their eggs. Although these eggs alone sell for quite a bit, you can also build a Slime?? Hutch to incubate them, allowing you to have your own slime family. Just watch out; they'll inflict damage if you walk into them without a Slime Charmer ring on.

How to build Coops and Barns

If you haven't built a coop or barn yet, Robin's Carpenter Shop up in the mountains is your first stop. Head up here and interact with her shop to find various building options, with coops and bar?n??s being among your choices.

Once you build a coop or barn, you can walk in and place items like the auto-collector or heater to make the space more comforting for your animals. You'll also find a feeding area at the back to plac?e hay. If you have a silo, it'll automatically dispense hay here as long as you have it full.

How to pet animals in Stardew Valley

Petting your farm animals and pets is one of the best ways to raise your friendship, as it'll gradually increase your friendship, barring any issues that signific??antly decrease it. You can pet your animals by right-clicking, tapping, or pressing A on each animal, depending on your platform. When in doubt, press your interact button.

You know how you need to greet/pet your farmyard animals each day to get a little heart and grow your bond so they produce the highest-quality goods? Well, for many of us �especially those of us with more goats, chickens, cows, and pigs than we probably need �the morning ritual can be fussy. Stardew animals can get al?l bunched up in close quarters, and it's a lit??tle pesky to greet them once so that you don't accidentally bring up their friendship rating menu when you tend to them.

Although you can go up to each animal and pet them, you can take things a step further by holding the pet/interact button and running up to them �it'll work perfectly. You'll get friendship points with every animal, and you won't have to pu?ll up the dreaded menu.

It'll save you time in the long ru?n, making it? relatively easy to raise your friendships as you gain more farm animals.

Alternatively, you can purchase the Auto-Petter from JojaMart for 50,000g or pick it up in Skull Cavern chests. It also can appear in mines during Danger In The Deep and with the Shrine of Challenge active. Having an Auto-Petter in either a coop or b??arn lets you pet your animals automatically without you ever having to interact with ??them.

The only downside is that your animals will receive half the friendship points they'd get from you doing ??it manually. The moral of the story? Human-animal interaction is more important than having a machine do it for you.

How to raise animal friendship in Stardew Valley

Alongside petting your animals, you can also increase their friendship by milking and shearing those that live in your barn. Although keeping them fed with hay will prevent them from losing friendship, letting them outside to eat grass will raise it, with blue grass doubling the effect.

The real challenge comes from preventing your animals from getting upset. Not feeding them and leaving them outside overnight will decrease their friendship significantly, with the?? latter having a small chance of wild animals coming by and?? making a mess of things. Not petting or talking to your animals will also lower their friendship.

In short, paying attention to your animals and feeding them will naturally raise their relationship with you over time. Interacting with them twice shows a profile detailing their a?ge, mood, and hearts toward you. The maximum you can earn per animal is f??ive hearts or 1000 friendship points.

Once you reach Farming level five, you can unlock the Rancher or Tiller professions??. Choosing Rancher raises the value of animal products, allowing you to make more money? later. More importantly, though, you'll unlock Coopmaster and Shepherd at level ten, letting you befriend animals quickly. If you want to create a massive farm full of animals, picking Rancher and Coopmaster or Shepherd is a solid call.

What does max animal friendship do?

The higher your friendship is with an animal, the higher their odds of producing higher-quality items. Their daily mood also determines this, which can fluctuate depending on how well you cared for them the day before. For example, a happy five-star ?rabbit has significantly higher odds of producing a rabbit foot than an unhappy zero-star one.

All animal produce types in Stardew Valley

Every animal has their own products you can sell, cook with, or turn into artisan goo?ds. While some are more valuable than others, they're all useful in their own way. Below is every ani?mal and their product list.

Like with most Stardew Valley items, quality and professions matt?er. Similarly, while Coopmaster and Shepherd help you befriend animals quicker, Artisan in the Tiller branch raises Artisan good value by 40 percent, making it extremely useful if you sell a lot of cheese or wine.

Do animal hearts decay in Stardew Valley?

Yes, they do decay, albeit very slowly. Much like with villagers, you won't notice much ani??mal heart decay unless you go weeks or entire seasons without feeding or petting them. If you just forget to pet them occasionally or go a day or two without refilling their food, they'll express annoyance but won't rapidly drop their hearts. Generally speaking, raising their friendship is much easier than decreasing it.

Can animals die in Stardew Valley?

Although morbid, the answer is yes: your Stardew Valley animals can technically die. Although it's impossible?? for them to die from starvation, temperature, or low friendship, leaving them outside overnight can cause wild animals to wreak havoc? on your farm. Thankfully, you won't see the wild animals in action, but you will hear it happen.

What's the solution, then? Make sure you keep your animals fenced in and repair any broken ones that degrade over time. You'll also want to either?? leave them in thei??r barns and coops or only have them out during the day before herding them back inside and repeating the process.

What if you can't find an animal but haven't seen the wild animal cutscene? More often than not, your animals will roam around your farm, especially if you have broken (or no) fences. I've seen my animals appear in?? the corners of my map, stranded for days until I finally noticed their disappearance. I'm lucky I didn't get the cutscene. Your best bet is clearing out any obstacles that can mess up animal pathing or be very proactiv??e in building fences.

No Man's Sky developer Hello Games is celebrating N7 Day by adding Mass Effect's Normandy SR-1 back into the ??game for a limited time. Each year, N7 ??Day celebrates the legendary BioWare franchise, and 2024 is no different.

This isn't the first time we've seen the Normandy in No Man's Sky. It was first released back in 2021, marking the launch of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. This crossover makes tons of sense, so?? it's great to see it return.

Mass Effect's Normandy is Returning to No Man's Sky

With a trailer and a set of release notes, Hello Games confirmed that Mass Effect's Normandy SR-1 is finally back in the game to mark N7 Day. The Normandy will only be available in No Man's Sky for the next two weeks, making it yet another limited-time event for Mass Effect's iconic frigate.

Described as "a love-letter from one science fiction game to another," this No Man's Sky update comes with a r?evamped version of the mission released back in 2021. When completed, you'll add the ??Normandy to your fleet, which you can then send out on expeditions to complete. You still can't pilot it, though. Disappointing, I know.

For the rest of N7 Day, players shouldn't expect anything too exciting from BioWare. The recent release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard has already seen the studio confirm it doesn't have any huge plans for a Mass Effect announcement, so as not to distract from its? most recent release.

The wait goes on for any news about the upcoming Mass Effect title. In years gone by, N7 Day has seen multiple teasers for the next game in the series, yet it still feels as though we know very little about t?he game at the moment.

The Model L is a capable gun in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 with its respectable damage and mid-range advantages. Howev??er, it does have some faults that need to be remedied and can be done with the loadout you choose.

S?o here's ??the best Model L loadout in Call of Duty Black Ops 6.

The Model L Call of Duty Black Ops 6 loadout you should use

The Model L is a full-auto assault rifle that is slow at firing but has great accuracy, making it great a?t mid-ranged gunfire. ?To help enhance its accuracy and improve its firepower, here are the recommended attachments:

• Optic: Accu-Spot Ultra Holo
• Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
• Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
• Underbarrel: Precision Foregrip
• Magazine: Extended Mag I
• Rear Grip: Commando Grip
• Stock: Balanced Stock
• Fire Mod: 5.56 NATO Overpressured

You can get eight attachments if you use the Gunfighter Wildcard. Otherwise, you're stuck with five.

Why should you choose this loadout?

The Optic is completely up to you, but the Model L should have a 3x optic as it's suited for mid-range combat. I picked the Accu-Spot Ultra Holo optic as the Willis 3X reduces your Aim Down Sight Speed. Next, for the Muzzle, go for the Muzzle Brake. It gives you further control over your gunfire and increases the Kick Reset Speed. If you want to go for a stealthy build, choose the Suppressor as it removes your shots from the mini-map.

Moving on, the Barrel should be the Reinforced Barrel as it increases your Damage Range and Bullet Velocity. This is great for mid to long-ranged fights and significantly improves the Firepower of the Model L. The Precision Foregrip should be the next pickup ?in the Underbarrel sectio?n. It improves Aiming Idle Sway and Horizontal Recoil Control, giving even further accuracy.

It's always best to have more ammo at the ready, so an Extended Mag I is your best pick for the Magazine. If you want to improve the speed of your gun, however, the Fast Mag I is not a bad shout either because it improves Reload Quickness, Aim Down Sight Speed, and Sprint to Fire Speed. As it's a mid-range gu?n, however, it's not as suited to close-quarters scenarios.

Thankfully, you can significantly increase the Aim Down Sight Speed of the gun with the Quickdraw Grip as your Rear Grip. You don't need the Sprint to Fire Speed and Slide to Fire Speed from other attachments as this gun shouldn't be as mobile as the XM4 and the Goblin Mk2.

The Balanced Stock improves many factors of the Model L, including ?Strafing Movement Speed, Hipfire Movement Speed, Movement Speed, and Aim Walki??ng Movement Speed, making the gun more adaptable to short-ranged and mid-ranged encounters.

Lastly, you'll want the 5.56 NATO Overpressured Fire Mod on the Mo??del L. It will help you counter the gun's slow-firing capabilities.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 local multiplayer is something many fans want as it's been a part of the series for de??cades. Playing against your friends or with them in co-op on the couch is a memory many cherish and would like to resume in 2024 and beyond.

Is Call of Duty Black Ops 6 split-screen-capable with friends?

Thankfully, you can play both the zombies mode and multiplayer with split-screen functionality. There's a catch, however. PS4, Xbox One, and PC Call of Duty Black Ops 6 players can't use split-screen and are only able to ?play with one player at all times. Only those on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S can play a round of Team Deathmatch with a mate on the couch with split-screen. Simply connect the second controller and have them press A or the cross button at the lobby.

The positive is that the split-screen covers the entir?e screen with no cut-off sections?. It's fully 16:9. It doesn't seem like you can play competitively against each other, however. I've tried to start a local multiplayer match under the "Private Match" mode and it didn't connect a second controller.

Does Call of Duty Black Ops 6 need to connect online?

Unfortunately, you'll need to always be online while playing Call of Duty Black Ops 6, even for the single-player campaign. This means that LAN has become obsolete. At least, some form of Black Ops 6 local? mul??tiplayer is supported through split-screen.

Do you need a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass to play Call of Duty Black Ops 6 online?

If you're playing the game on PS4 and PS5, you'll need at least PlayStation Plus Essential to access Call of Duty Black Ops 6's multiplayer matchmaking. Where does the Ice Axe spawn in DayZ Frostline: Sakhal?

If you're looking for the Ice Axe in DayZ Frostline: Sakhal, simply finding it on the ground will be your best bet. So, where exactly does it spawn? To find out, we can take a look at the game's loot economy files on the game's official GitHub.

This reveals some interesting information. The Ice Axe spawns in anything marked as a town or village by the game, and there's a minimum of nine on the map at any given time. This means you'll need to head into yo??ur nearest town and get looting, as you won't just find?? the Ice Axe out in the wilderness!

With this information in mind, it's also worth mentioning that you can always loot the I?ce Axe from another dead player, who you may or may not? have killed.

So, you've got yourself an Ice Axe. What now? Strangely, DayZ Frostline doesn't add any new functionality to the weapon-tool hybri??d, but it's as useful as ever. Equip it by dragging it from your inventory to your hotbar along the bottom of your screen, where you can use it for any of the following things:

• Opening cans, although it spills 20-40% of the food.
• Mining rocks to get Large Stones.
• Digging up worms from the ground to get fishing bait.
• Removing constraints from players.
• Attacking zombies and players as a melee weapon.
• Building Fences and Watchtowers.
• Dismantling player-built bases.
• Creating plots for fruits and vegetables.

Final Fantasy IX is now 24 years old, and has come a long way from its initial PlayStation exclusive release. Now, it?’s available to play on pretty much any platform you can imagine, but all of them benefit from one share??d thing â€?cheats. 

Okay look, I’m not suggesting that you should dive right in, enable all of the possible cheats and breeze across Gaia without a care in the world. That would cause you to lose half of the joy that is FFIX. However, if you’re neck deep in a battle and struggling to come out the other side, some of the available c??heats can come in really handy. 

There are two types of cheats, those that can be turned ?on and off at will, and those that will permanently alter your save file. There are also a few tips and tricks that might he?lp you in specific circumstances, but more on that later.

Do cheats disable trophies or achievements in Final Fantasy IX?

There’s good news and b??ad news on this front. While cheats accessed through the pause menu have a??bsolutely no effect on trophies or achievements, those that are enacted through the configuration menu will remove your ability to gain any trophies or achievements whatsoever. 

This is worth bearing in mind before you pull out the big guns and confirm your choices, and means?? that configuration menu cheats should only be used as an absolute last resort, or if you’ve already completed a playthrough and gained all of the trophies or achievements you want to get..  

Final Fantasy IX pause menu cheats

There are four cheats, otherwise known as ‘game boostersâ€? which can be accessed through the pause menu. These can be switched on and off as many times as you like with no long-term effects. They all revolve around? battle, and can be really us?eful if you’re low on health or time. 

To use any of the following cheats, press pause and the??n press the corresponding button on your chosen p??latform.

Battle Assistance

Button:

• PlayStation: L1
• PC: F2
• Nintendo Switch: L
• Xbox: LB

Turning Battle Assistance on will instantly fill up the ATB gauge for each party member, ensuring that you don’t have to wait between turns. It will also keep your health and magic points filled up, pretty much guaranteeing that no one in your party will be knocked out unless they’re the victim of a particularly high-damage attack. Battle Assistance will also enable you to enter Trance Mode at any time, signi??ficantly increasing the damage your party can do. 

9999

9999 gives you one hell of a boost in any battle, a??s it enables any attack that you perform will cause 9999 damage to the victim. While you can use this early in your adventure, I’d argue that it’s overkill at that point, and this boost is better used once you encounter enemies with far more health. This cheat has the same effect on healing spells, making them restore 9999 health. 

High Speed Mode

While the battles in FFIX are definitely fun to play through, sometimes the animations and transitions can drag on a bit, especially if this is?n’t your first time in a particular battle. High Speed Mode does exactly what you’d expect it to â€?it speeds up battles and allows you to play them on fast forward??. 

Safe Travel

When dashing from one major location to the next across the overworld of FFIX, it can be frustrating to be pulled into random encounters, especially if you’re hurrying off to a new location to complete a quest. The Safe Travel boost will ?enable you to traverse the wild landscape??s without being drawn into a single random battle. 

Howe??ver, there are two things to remember about Safe Travel. When enabled, it will also prevent encounters with friendly monsters, and it doesn’t have any effect on event battles, which will sti??ll occur. 

Final Fantasy IX configuration menu cheats

These cheats are an absolute game changer, but as mentioned before, the use of them comes at a price. While they can make your playthrough in??finitely easier, you’ll be unable to get trophies or achievements, and using them does somewhat cheapen the first-time experience.

With the menu open, scroll down to “Configâ€?and then find the three cheats under “Game Bo??osters". As stated on the Config screen, these features cannot be disabled once active, so make sure to think about your deci??sion wisely. 

Master Abilities

When activated, all party members will instantly master any abilities associated with items and equipment that you have in your inventory. This works for both equipment that you already have in your inventory, as well as any ??further equ??ipment you go on to gain. 

Level and Magic Stones Max

Upon activating this cheat, all party members (including those you’ve already met and any that you gain in the future) will be set at the maximum level of 99. This cheat also gives you the maximum amount of 99 Magic Stones, allowing you to teach any party membe??r any ability.

Gil Max

Using this boost will instantly grant you the maximum amount of Gil you can ?hold, which is 9,999,999. This is easily enough to get you everything you could possibly?? dream of, and negates the need to grind for funds in order to get specific items. 

Final Fantasy IX tips, tricks, and secrets

Although the following tips and tricks can’t be co??nsidered cheats, you could definitely get away with calling them exploits. These are best used if you avoid the cheats mentioned above, but can help you along the way.&nb??sp;

Easy leveling

?Once you’ve got Quina in your party, head to the outside of Gizmalike’s Grotto and use their Level 5 Death ability against the level 60 Grand Dragons you encount??er there. This can easily provide around 8,800 experience points for each party member. For some protection from the Dragon’s Thundaga spells, equip Coral Rings.

Cotton Robe Trick

If you’re hard-up for Gil and want an easy way to make a lot ??in a short time period, try making some Cotton Robes. You’ll need to purchase the following ingredients:

• Wrist (130 Gil)

  • Purchased from Dali
  • Stolen from Masked Man

• Steepled Hat (260 Gil)

  • Purchased in Lindblum, Burmecia, Summit Station, or Black Mage Village
  • Stolen from Black Waltz 2 or 3

With these two items in your inventory, head to a Synthesis Shop and synthesize them into a Cotton Robe. The synth itself will cost you 1,000 Gil, but the?? Cotton Robe will then sell for 2,000 Gil. This is an easy 610 Gil profit on each Cotton Robe, which isn’t bad for relatively little effort. 

Skip Battle Intro

This is something that can be turned on through the Config menu, and will save you approximately 14 seconds per encounter. That’s a lot of time that can be better ??spent exploring Gaia. In the same vein, you can also increase the speed at which battles take place by tweaking the “Battle Speedâ€?slider in the same menu.

In a Blizzard blog post, Diablo 4's Halloween event was confirmed as startin?g at 10 AM PT on October 29. The spooky celebrations will run until 10 AM PT o?n November 5. Throughout this period, you can log in and claim some limited-time cosmetic goodies for free, as detailed below:

Butter is an easy ingredient to find as it's sold in Chez Remy after finishing the Ratatouille realm's missions in the Castle.

Basil, which can also be used for cooking Creamy Soup, is picked up from the ground in Peaceful Meadow. Look for its green leaves and you should find the herb fairly easily. Lastly Lemons can be grabbed from trees within the Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust. All of these ingredients are pretty easy to get, so you should be able to gather them and cook them at any stove around your house or Chez Remy easily. You'll now have the fancy four-star dish to give, eat, or sell in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How much is this dish worth?

You can sell the Poached Basil Butter Sturgeon for 2,284 Star Coins at Goofy's Stall and you can eat the meal for 4,961 Energy. If you sell it, it w??ill account towards your Dreamlight tasks and goals.

• Any vegetable like a Carrot or Corn

To get yourself some Cheese, head over to Chez Remy and buy it from the rat. It might not pass safety standards in our world, but you can get the ingredient for 180 Star Coins. You'll need to complete the Ratatouille realm insid??e the castle t?o gain access to this restaurant and Remy himself.

Corn seeds and the ingredient itself can be bought from Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach for 15 Star Coins. Chilli Pepper can be purchased from Goofy's Stall in t?he Sunlit Plateau for 20 Star Coins.

You can buy another Corn to make up for the v?egetable you need for the fourth ingredient or use something else you're growing like a Carrot.

RiME and GYLT developer Tequila Works announced on Tuesday layoffs have taken place at the company. It has also cancelled an unannounced game and will be "??restructuring the studio to concentrate on the development of only one game."

"These changes will have an impact to a small number of roles at the studio," said Tequila Works on LinkedIn. "This is an incredibly difficult time, and our focus is to provide support and guidance?? to those affected."

Tequila Works already has a storied history in the indie scene since it arrived in 2009. RiME is one of its most acclaimed titles with an 80 Metacritic score. Its last project Song of Nunu was a collaborative project with the League of Legends license starring a ??boy and his yeti friend in an arctic landscape.

In 2022, Tencent became a majority stakeholder in the Spanish studio. “We are delighted to ally with a partner that allows us to make Tequila Works a stronger studio with access to all the resources required to produce titles of the highest quality, all made with the care and passion our beloved fans know us for as well as the opportunity of bringing these projects to a wider audience," said Tequila Works Chairwoman Luz Sancho at the time in a news release.

Tencent also holds stakes in Epic Games, Bluehole, and Ubisoft. It also acquired Back 4 Blood developer Turtle Rock Studios in 2021.

In an unexpected crossover, music channel Lofi Girl and Alien Isolation have released a lo-fi collab based on the fan-favor?ite? game. During the Halloween season, you can now listen to some chill music inspired by the horror title while studying or working.

This is "a collab I was not at all expecting," said YouTube user @Owlgineer with the top-rated comment. "At least now I c?an vibe out while hiding from Xenomorphs."

It may seem like a strange collab out of the blue, but it has been published on SEGA's YouTube channel as part of the publisher's 10th anniversary celebrations for the hit horror game. "Put on your headphones and?? relax through space�but don't forget to check your motion tracker," warns SEGA in the video's description. HoKø has cr?eated the music, which successfully chills you but at the same time, maintains its horror-like essence with odd atmospheric sounds sprinkled in.

SEGA also announced on Monday that an Alien Isolation sequel is in the works. The creative director Al Hope returns with the game's original studio Creative Assembly back to develop the title. It's currently in early development. "We look forward to sharing more details with you when we're ready," said Hope in a social media message released Monday.

Alien Isolation is a beloved horror game from 2014 that has high critical praise. It has an 81 Top Critic rating on OpenCritic. "Isolation has some flaws, but it’s faithful to the film series, and I’d love to see a follow-up with a few extra alien evolutions," said our 8.5/10 review from Destructoid's Editor-in-C?hief Chris Carter, who will likely get his wi??sh.

Tuna in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a gateway ??to many fishy dishes in the game. It can be found in two separate biomes in this Disney?? title.

Tuna can be spotted in the Glade of Trust and Forgotten Lands, just like Squid. ??However, you'll find Tuna from white ripples within the waters of these locations, not blue. Search the rivers and ponds of these biomes and get your rod out to catch the Tuna you require. You should be able to find the fish fairly easily. If you don't see a white ripple, however, try to catch a fish from a different colored ripple for a chance of a white ripple appearing straight afterward.

How to make a Tuna Burger

You can make a Tuna Burger fairly easily in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it's su??rprisingly a five-star meal. You'll require the fo??llowing:

• Tuna
• Lemon
• Wheat
• Onion
• A vegetable of your choice (Carrots, for example)

Lemons grow on trees in the Glade of Trust and Forest of Valor. Wheat is purchased from Goofy's Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. Onions and Onion seeds are bought from Goofy's Stall in the Forest of Valor. You can then use any vegetable of your choice, such as a Carrot, Lettuce, or Potato. After piling them all into a pan at a stove in Chez Remy or your house, you'll finally have a Tuna Burger in your grasp. You could also make a Vegetarian Stew if you'd like.

File this under "news no one expected." 343 Industries has confirmed that Halo Infinite is getting a third-person mode, and it's coming sooner than you think, with a release date penne?d in for November.

Halo historians will know that Combat Evolved was a third-person shooter at one point in its development. Now, well over two decades later, that idea is set to become a reality in Halo Infinite.

343 Industries confirmed the addition of third-person mode to Halo Infinite in a video on Twitter. It's an announcement that wouldn't feel out of place on April Fools' Day. Halo? Third-pers??on?! I assure you?, it's real, and frankly, it looks like a lot of fun.

The clips from the gameplay were ma?rked as a work in progress, but a? couple of interesting tidbits can be garnered from what has been shown so far.

One moment shows the player transitioning from first to third-person, indicating that you're ??not locked into one view for the entire match. It remains to be seen if the new third-person view is only available in specific modes. PvE combat was also shown, confirming Firefight wi?ll be getting the third-person treatment. Count me in.

Interestingly, the footage features one moment involving the play?er struggling to see while entering a Sh??roud Screen. This shows the drawback of adding third-person to a game not initially designed for it, so it'll be interesting to see how 343 Industries handles things like this in the full release.

Even if third-person mode doesn't become the de-facto way to play Halo Infinite going forward, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued to try it out. It's currently set for a November release, with no specific ??date nailed down at t??he moment.

It's time to flip some faces and figure out the murderer, as Clue, Guess Who, and Connect Four are all heading to Fortnite in the coming months. Clue is the first Hasbro game to launch in Fortnite, and Guess Who comes to the battle royale title lat??er in October.

A refresh of the games

Launching today, Murder Mystery: Clue has players in round-based gameplay and a countdown timer. Everyone has different roles, such as the Killer, Detective, and Guest, and each one has a different win condition. The developer Look North World says, "This new take on Clue offers a highly replayab??le experience, blending nostalg?ia with engaging gameplay that resonates with today’s players" in the press release.

Guess Who comes to Fortnite later this month, while we'll have to wait until December for Connect Four. This move is to help pivot Hasbro's classic games to a modern audience. Apparently, they will be "offering a fresh t??wist that reimagines these classic board games."

"We are excited to work with Hasbro, a brand that unde?rstands the power of user-generated content as a unique opportunity to connect with passionate gamers," said Look North World Founder and CEO Alex Seropian.

Seropian helped create Bungie, the studio that developed the legendary Halo and Destiny series. Now, Look North World is creating content for Fortnite and premium mods for ARK: Survival Ascended.

Hasbro claimed in 2023 that Clue is the second-most popular board game in the world. It has sold over 150 million copies in its lifetime. It a?lso has a new live-action film on the way by ??director James Bobin and 20th Century Studios. The game itself has been around for over 70 years and was created by Anthony Pratt during World War 2.

South Korean publisher Krafton has confirmed that it signed a licensing agreement with Palworld developer, Pocketpair. The agreement will see PUBG: Battlegrounds developer, PUBG Studios, bring Palworld to mobile devices for the first time.

Touted as "Pokemon with guns" by fans, Palworld was a surprise gargantuan success upon its Early Access launch earlier this year. Few, ?least of all Pocketpair, could have seen its eyewatering sales figures coming, as it stormed to the top of the cha?rts on PC and Xbox consoles at the start of 2024.

Player counts have dropped in the months since, although a recent PlayStation 5 release has helped bring new fans into the fold. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company suing Pocketpair has also played a part in keeping Palworld in the news cycle of late.

Krafton confirmed Palworld's upcoming mobile port in a statement on its website, with its subsidiary PUBG Studios moving forward on the project. The announcement gave no release window for Palworld on Android and iOS, although it did confirm it "plans to faithfully reinte?rpret and implement the original’s main?? fun elements to fit the mobile environment." Whether this results in any significant gameplay changes remains to be seen.

A huge update is on the way to Sea of Stars with some oft-requested features in tow. Sabotage Studio has set the free Dawn of Equinox update for a November 12, 2024 launch, i?ntroducing local co-op and more on all platforms.

Sabotage detailed the hefty update in a press release, which calls this the studio's "fully realized vision" for the acclaimed RPG. The local co-op, for starters, lets up to three players tackle the adventure in its entir??ety, mastering timed hits in a co-op environment along the way?. 

Combat has been refined significantly along with this addition. Combo Points are now retained after battles, there have been balance updates, and Mystery Locks introduce new ways to break enemy spells. If this makes things too easy or too hard for ?you �or anywhere in between �new difficult presets are available at the start of a new game. 

New horizons

Beyond quality-of-life improvements and a Quebecois localization, there are a few other major beats worth mentioning. Dawn of Equinox adds a revamped prologue that ??nixes the flashback structure and directly implements combat for the younger heroes. There's also a brand new cinematic during a pivotal moment for some extra impact. 

Need help finding some of those pesky collectibles and hidden challenges? There's an improved Parrot Relic for that. Finally, a new Speedrunner Mode Relic triggers features that make it easier to keep track of your personal quest to set a world record in Sea of Stars, or at least best your own time. 

Beyond all that, the free Throes of the Watchmaker DLC is due out in spring 2025. When it launches, players will be also able to dig into the new storyline and more with Dawn of Equinox's local co-op.

During the One Six Indie Showcase 2024, we were treated to a trailer for a brand new DLC for Rain World. This DLC, The Watcher, looks to take players to unfamiliar territory for a new Slugcat adventure, and fans want it to go as far as possibl??e.

Eagle-eyed players spotted several key details Rain World's The Watcher DLC trailer, including a lack of Iterators, walking snails, and some fresh-looking animated backgrounds that hint at new environments. The franchise is known for an incredibly complex ecosystem that interlinks as you explo??re, with every environment impacting the other in some way. But fans want something that cuts deep from the DLC. A region or regions cut off from what we've seen before.

Where are the Iterators?

Long before the DLC's trailer was released, Rain World fans on the game's subreddit had been discussing what they wanted from it. User ANBpokeball sums up what a lot of other fans want. "Exploring new regions, seeing new creatures, meeting Slugcats other than the protagonist, and getting to meet one of the iterators other than Five Pebbles or Loo??ks To The Moon."

This would be brilliant. Iterators are massive entities that house entire ecosystems. They're also said to create the rain that gives Rain World its name. In the base game and other DLC, you can see other? Iterators in the distance when you reach the top of one, as high as you can go.

The featured image for this article shows a Slugcat at that point, and there's a shocking lack of Iterators. This hints that The Watcher DLC? could be set ?at a different time, in a different dimension, or in a region separate from the rest of the franchise.

We can actually look to the Akupara Games page for the DLC for some clarity here. "Journey beyond to something, somewhere only ever glimpsed. When the world beneath your feet cracks and crum?bles, will you hold on to all you once knew? Or dive into the unknown?"

It suggests we'll be somewhere in the Rain World series we've never actually been able to visit. Part of what makes the franchise so intriguing and gripping is its complex ecosystem that you sneak, run from, and fight your way through across many playthrou??ghs.

From the sounds of it, I'd say we're heading to a dry location, somewhere the ground cracks and crumbles away from an Iterator. It could reveal the planet's past below the crust of dirt and away from the fairly familiar territories we've known around these large machines. Having played Animal Well earlier t?his year, I'm excited to play as another creature delving into the depths.

Fans want something new, and the trailer and description certainly make it look like that's what we're getting. We'll have to wait until March 28, 2025, to know for sure, and if you're new to the series, that should be just enough time to get caught up on everything you need to know before The Watcher DLC drops.

If you’re looking for a new and very fun game to play with friends, or you want something to give you an excuse to scream out your frustrations, then may I recommend Pico Park 2?

I know that sounds like an incredibly contradictory statement, but if you’ve ever played Pico Park 2 or the original, then you’ll probably understand my positio?n. I love this game. It’s adorable, it makes me laugh, and it’s incredibly fun to play with up to eight friends. But I also hate it, it frustrates me like nothing else, and I have a four-year-old and a kitten, so that’s really saying something. 

I’m pretty sure that the love outweighs the hate in my relationship with Pico Park 2, because regardless of how much it frustrates me in one playing session, I always want to go back for another. The definition of insanity is doing something repeatedly and expecting a different result. I guess I must be insane, because I will always go back for more when it comes to Pico Park. 

It’s not a rage game, at least I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed ??to be, but can you imagine getting eight people together in a level where you’re not allowed to touch each other because doing so will kill you? How about getting eight people moving around and trying to figure out where you are in a room filled with randomly moving characters? The rage is inevitable, but so is the laughter.

Some levels prevent you from moving as long as someone else is. This isn’t so bad with two or three players, but it’s a nightmare with eight. And then you have to consider the fact the platforms are continuously pushing anyone who isn’t moving backwards tow?ards certain death. Can you see where the frustration comes in to play here? 

Then, to add more chaos to the mix, one of the levels has everyone die if more than one person moves at once, and another lets you move o??nly when you can’t see what you’re doi?ng. These three levels are all part of world seven which, if you can’t tell, is not one of my favorites. 

I’ve been playing to write this, and in order to get the screenshots that accompany this article, and once again I? have reached the point of rage quitting a pixel platformer puzzle game. But I don’t want that to put you off, because before you rage quit, you’ll have a ton of fun and laugh until yo??ur sides hurt. 

Pico Park is also a great test of communication skills, and a bizarrely sado-masochistic bonding experience. You know the age old relationship ‘test�of building Ikea furniture together to see if you can get through an argument? I can only assume that whoever came up with that had never played Pico Park with their partner.

Minecraft developer Mojang and MOD Entertainment revealed the Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue in early 2024. The one-hour-long real-world activity had to be delayed, but now it's coming up for its Dallas launch on October 18, 2024, and all attend??ees can get their hands on an exclusive reward.

Anyone who buys a ticket and plays the Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue will receive an exclusive in-game cape for Minecraft that's half-villager, half-zombie. It looks pretty great and acts as a nice bonus that'll help the event last even longer in your mind when you see it each time you log in. You don't even need to visit Dallas just to get the cape because t??he entire?? thing is going on tour, meaning there's a good chance it'll turn up near you in the future.

Now that's a nice cape

In the Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue, iconic locations and creatures from the game are brought to life. You start in the forest, where you'll le??arn the ropes of how mechanics in this experience function. From there, you'll enter the village, where you'll pick up your quest and team up with other real players to complete your task. I'm going to go ahead and guess, given the experience's name, that you'll be rescuing a Villager.

There will be multiple biomes to explore and creatures to meet along ?the way. While you can gush over the dolphins, sheep, and pigs, the skeletons and spiders aren't so friendly. Luckily, the experience has everything?? you'll be used to from the game, so you'll be able to fend off any mobs.

The most interesting thing about the Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is the Orb of Interaction. This is an object you hold and take with you throughout the story to inter?act with objects, enemies, and every biome as you would in the game. It's got some sort of haptic feedback built in, so I imagine it vibrates in specific ways for each type of interaction, but it should also change color depending on what you're doing.

Considering you can build an entire universe in Minecraft if you work hard enough, a 1-hour experience sounds a? little small. However, you do get to chill out in the Trading Post with a memento afterward, so you might be able to make an entire morning or afternoon out of it if you want.

Of course, the long-lasting reward from the experience is going to be that in-game cape. Given that you can only get it from this touring physical event, I can see it being pretty rare and desirable. Between this and the fact that you can keep the whole experience to an hour if you don't want to spend an entire day on it, I think the Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue could be pretty popular, especially with fans who aren't excited for the movie.

A Bump in the Road is the quest in Fallout 76 that sees you join a business partner and start your own caravan company. This is an intrinsic part of the Fallout univ?erse, and now you get to engage w?ith it every time you log in.

You'll need to seek out the A Bump in the Road quest in Fallout 76 by heading to Skyline Valley on the map. It should be automatically added to your quest log as a ??side quest once you're in the area. Check your Pip-Boy for details and track it so you don't lose sight of what you should be doing. As for tackling the quest, you're going to need to get a little violent and learn the ropes of what it takes to be a caravan guard in the Appalachian Wasteland.??

How to complete A Bump in the Road in Fallout 76

Below, I've explained how to complete A Bump in the Road in Fallout 76 in easy-to-follo??w steps. It's not a hugely complex quest, but there are points that can trip you up if you don't know what to do, as well as some tough enemy encounters that will throw you off.

Step 1: Investigate the flare

The first part of this quest sends you to a lookout tower to investigate a flare. It's pretty straightforward in theory. Just head to the location marked on your map and?? have a look around. That is until you rea?ch this location and realize that you're in for a tough fight.

The area is filled with high-level Super Mutants, and they're out for blood. One has a minigun up in the tower, a few have grenades, and the others just want to rip you apart with blunt objects. Bring your most powerful weapons to this fight because they won't let up?. I ended up ripping them apart with a powerful axe because I couldn't land a shot.

Once you've cleared out all the Super Mutants, and make sure you really have cleared them all out, you need to search the cage underneath the lookout tower. There's a body in here with an item called Luke's Holotape that you must pick up and li?sten to.

The Holotape has a harrowing final note on it from Luke, a man working as a caravanner who took a r??isk he shouldn't have. He asks you to pick up the cargo from the Brahmin he was using? and take it to Milepost Zero. You'll find the Brahmin next to the cages of flesh at the top of the camp.

Step 2: Visit Milepost Zero

Your next objective is to visit Milepost Zero, a new location right at the bottom of the map. I fast traveled to a nearby camp and walked along to it, but make sure?? you watch out for Feral Ghouls in the area because they are no joke.

Here, you'll meet Marley. She's trying to start her own caravan company and needs a little help. If you want to help her, you're going to need to buy into the company to get it off the ground. Th??is costs 500 Caps, which isn't cheap, but it also won't take you long to earn that many if you play well.

Step 3: Complete a Caravan: Skyline Drive World Event

Once you've paid your way in, you'll need to head out and complete a Caravan: Skyline Drive World Event. This is pretty simple to do either by speaking to Marley and asking to run a caravan or by joining a World Event that's already in progress. The symbol you want to pick to join this World Event on the map looks like a Brahmin head and? will transport you directly to it.

These World Events aren't the easiest to complete. The Brahmin, your caravan, will head to its destination, and you've got to defend it from everything under the sun that tries to kill it. I encountered some incredibly high-level enemies doing this, including a Blue Devil, which wasn't fun ??at all.

There will also be sections of trees on the road that slow your Brahmin down. You'll nee?d to cut through them with your weapons and rush the Brahmin on to get the ??mission done within the time limit. However, once you reach that destination, you'll receive a big package of Supplies and other useful items.

Step 4: Return to Marley

Head back to Marley at Milepost Zero and talk with her. Since you're now part of the caravan company, you get a say in who you hire. This will cost you Supplies, which you can earn more? of by comple?ting more Caravan World Events.

The employees you hire will add new elements to th??e caravan company's HQ. For example, I hired a Brahmin Tame??r, which allows you to have easy access to Brahmin Milk. There are several employees to hire, and you'll eventually want to invest in them all by completing more World Events and spending those supplies. Over time, you'll create an incredibly profitable business.

After making your first hire, you'll complete the quest. This leaves you all set up for more caravan runs and the prospects of b?uilding a booming business in the post-apocalypse.

Developer Digital Extremes has revealed some of the quality-of-life improvements coming to Warframe with its Koumei & the Five Fates update. Interestingly, there's a huge focus on streamlining the game for newcomers, something Warframe has seen a lot of over the last couple of month??s.

The Koumei & the Five Fates update for Warframe launches in late 2024 and brings with it a new Warframe for players to master, as well as additional story content to dig into. However, in a recent blog post, Digital Extremes showcased how this update will also make the game more approachable as a newcomer. The game has seen loads of people join after leaving Destiny 2 following Bungie's layoffs, so this update couldn't come at a better time.

Demystifying the basics

There are loads of quality-of-life changes in this update that I wish I had when I was first getting into Warframe, but it's good to know they'll be there for new players. For example, stats have been shifted from your starter Warframe to make things a bit less overwhelming when jumping into the experience as a fresh player??. A few other things, such as opening hacking puzzles and the time to intubate your first Kubrow have had time reductions to get you into the game and help you understand it much faster.

There's also going to be much more guidance in the game. A good example of this is when you come to sell unmastered items. You'll soon be greeted by a popup that tells you it's better to hit Rank? 30 with it before selling it so your Mastery Rank benefits as much as possible from your time played.

New abilities that you unlock will now have their input?? shown alongside their information on-screen when you first unlock them. I can't tell you how many times I've thought that it's great I have a new ability for a Warframe that I have no clue how to trigger.

What might be the best improvement, though, is Relic breakdowns. This is a small tab that'll appear when you hover over a Relic, displaying the owned and crafted status of their rewards. Relics are an abuse mechanic in Warframe, but they're essential to unlocking Prime Warframes without spending real-world cash, so they're a necessary evil. So??on, they'll just be a little less evil to work with.

It won't end with Koumei & the Five Fates either. Digital Extremes has explained that future updates will tackle other systems such as the Star Chart and understanding the order of main and side quests. Once you're into Warframe, these don't pose much of an issue at all, but they're definitely a barrier to entry that would be hard to push past without the game's incre?dibly helpful co??mmunity on hand.

Developer FuturLab has announced that the Shrek Special Pack for PowerWash Simulator will be released on October 10, 2024. The DLC adds a selection of new levels from the Shrek cinematic universe alongside a?? fancy new costume to wear while cleaning.

PowerWash Simulator's Shrek Special Pack was revealed during a Nintendo Direct earlier in 2024, but no release date was given for it at the time, outside of a fall release window. Now we know exactly when we'll be able to return to these fantastical lands and experience the messier side of?? it all. FuturLab has also confirmed the locations we'll be able to clean up, including one that I'm particularly excited about because it's definitely going to be the most covered in colorful spills and thrills.

I need a hero

The levels that the Shrek Special Pack takes PowerWash Simulator players to in October are as follows.

• Shrek's Swamp: The big green ogre's home turf has been coated in a thick layer of colorful grime that has the audacity to make it look more fun. Clean it all up and admire the easter eggs and attention to detail in every inch of the location that's been painstakingly pulled together from the movies.
• Duloc: Duloc castle is usually dull and grey, but a few artistic knights took it upon themselves to spruce the place up. Clean up all their hard work and get the castle back to being as efficient and oppressive as can be.
• Fairy Godmother's Potion Factory: This is the location I'm most excited about. It gets colorful and messy in the movies, and everything is just as disorganized and unsightly as you'd expect from the aftermath of Shrek 2. There are even working machines to clean up as you go, which is no easy feat by yourself.
• Dragon's Lair: Dragon's treasure is as dirty as can be, so you need to return it to its shining glory. There are tasty treats to uncover in the grime, though I'm not sure I'd eat them after seeing what was on top of them.
• Hansel's Honeymoon Hideaway: Shrek and Fiona really pulled a number on this place. Sort it out, and try not to let your imagination get too carried away while you do.

Every level can be played in co-op or solo, so you can clean and clean until you're completely cleaned out. As with most levels in PowerWash Simulator, there are easter eggs and audio tidbits to unlock as you clean up each section of every level. This means it's well worth cleani?ng everything to 100%, just in case you miss an iconic callback to any of these fabulous films.

The Electric Trilogy challenge in Hitman World of Assassination is one you must complete on the Haven Island location, and it re?quires ??you to electrify all three main targets to death. This is no easy feat unless you know exactly what you're doing.

Haven Island is a dense location in Hitman World of Assassination. It's got three main targets to kill and several core areas that they'll move through. You can even kite one of the targets across the entire map if you want. But we won't be doing any of that to tackle the Electric Trilogy challenge. Instead, we're going to make every target come to us so we can take them all out simultaneously. It feels appropriate that this challenge was added with The Drop DLC pack for the game because it's just as complex in theor?y but relatively simple in ??practice as that Elusive Target mission.

How to complete the Electric Trilogy challenge in Hitman World of Assassination

Below, I've outlined the best path for completing the Electric Trilogy challenge in Hitman World of Assassination. Use the Resort Pier starting location and bring a silenced pistol and a coin, at the very least. It would pay to bring an Emetic Po?ison Vial with you, but you can pick up a substitute later if you don't have one.

Step 1: Grab a disguise

The first thing you need to do is head along the pier and to the left from your starting location. Keep going until the pier leads onto the beach. You c??an pick up an Emetic Flower at the location shown in the map reference above. Note that you don't need this if you'v??e brought an Emetic Poison Vial.

Keep running along the left-hand side of the island until you reach the villa. This location is shown in the map reference above. There's a camera above the main doorway that's worth shooting out. However, you can climb over the wall if you follow the ??left-hand wall up the island until you spot the gap at the top.

Vault over the wall and duck into the grass. This is where you need to use your coin to lure a guard down to you, subdue him, and?? take his disguise. If you've unlocked the lab hatch here, take that downstairs. Otherwise, you'll need another route.

Step 2: Get into the lab

Next, make your way to the location shown on the map reference above. The entrance to the lab is next to the bar on the beach, underneath the staircase to th??e villa. You've got to wait for a lab tech to exit the lab, get a drink, and then follow him through the door when he heads back inside.

You'll have no trouble sneaking into the lab if you're wearing the guard disguise. From there, head downstairs and into the glass room above the servers. This is ?where things ?start to get tricky.

Step 3: The setup

Head left out of the glass room, car??eful to avoid the camera, and up onto the walkway. You can shoot the camera behind you out as well as the one looking over the servers. Your main target is actually a plug in the central podium on the lower floor. You can see it in the image above as the tiny yellow item on the left, out of the three yellow icons in the middle of the room.

Shoot the plug and take the time to ensure it's broken. This wil?l save you precious time later on. Now, you need to get back into the glass room y?ou entered when you first came down here.

The ventilation system is on the right-hand side of this room, but one of the lab?? techs will stand close to i??t, shredding paper without moving unless you make him. To do this, flick a coin onto the same raised floor as him but close to the steps leading up to it.

This will distract the tech, at which point you must get up to the ventilation system ??and use your Emetic Poison, whichever you've brought, to poison the entire system. After a few seconds, everyone in the server room will g??et sick and begin to leave.

Now you can turn off the ventilation system to clear the ga?s. Run down into the server room and pull out all four servers from the stacks around it. These are pretty obvious, but you'll need to be fast because lab techs will come down to investigate the distractions. You need to?? pull all four at once to trigger the alert and draw in your targets.

Step 4: Wait for the kill

Once you've pulled all four servers and triggered the alert, your targets will make their way down to the central podium. If a camera has caught you, it's worth heading there first to sabotage?? the data, but it's not ?essential.

From here, head back up to the walkway where you shot the plug. Either side will do. You've got to wait for all three targets to be on the podium. Then, shoot the water cooler next to th?em. This pours water all over the floor and onto the plug, electrocuting all three and completing the Electric Trilogy challenge.

Exit the mission however you want. My preference is the plane on the beach because you can access it via the ladder just off of this walkway. For completing this challenge, you'll unlock the ICA Proximity Micro Taser, which is an incredibly useful tool for future kills in Hitman World of Assassination.

Hifumi Kono's original 1995 Clock Tower game is finally making its way over to the U.S., and it's doing so two days earlier than Japan. WayForward's Clock Tower: Rewind revival is now set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Seri?es X|S, Nintendo S?witch, and PC in the Americas and Europe on October 29, 2024.

Outside of folks who have played the ROM or watched Shinya Arino brave its horrors on Game Center CX?, most westerners likely first encountered the series on PlayStation. WayForward's update takes the Super Famicom classic and breathes new life into its horrifying hallways. The original gameplay is still intact along with the graphics and sound, but now there are some quality-of-life improvements in the mix along with added features. 

That fresh content can be found in Rewind mode. There's a new animated intro, as well as functions like save states, rewind (hey, it's in the title!), a music player, art gallery, and vocal songs by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and Emi Evans. There's also the aforementioned Clock Tower Commercial Sampler demo for a nice piece of video game history. You can ?get an idea of how it's shaping up in a recent gameplay video:

It's very appropriate that Japan gets this one on October 31, but two days earlier ain't bad. Either way, it's the perfect time of the year to spend running like mad from Scis??sorman. 

Beyond the Clock Tower update, WayForward set a release window for River City Girls 2's Double Dragon DLC. Bimmy and Jimmy will join the brawl sometime this fall, which is a slight delay from the original summer plans.
