It's been over four years since RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition first launched, and now more platforms are finally on the horizo??n. Atari is bringing the sim to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on March 20, 2025.

The Complete Edition previously made its way to PC and Nintendo Switch in September 2020. Turning back the clock even further, the original Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. That certainly lands it firmly in the "nostalgic" camp for some at this point, and you can stoke those rose-tinted fires with the announcement trai??ler below.

//www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVbVzC84pPI

As its title suggests, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition includes the third entry in full HD along with the content from the expansion packs. The Soaked! expansion is all about water parks and the Wild! expansion has you throwing animal habitats into the mix. The full package here seems right in line with previ??ous versions, so don't go into the PlayStation and Xbox ports looking for anything new.

The rest is more or less just how we all remember it. You'll be tasked with managing everything from staff to shops as you attempt to grow your theme p?ark. Or, if you just feel like going wild, you can hit up sandbox mode and build the park of your dreams without worrying about a ballooning budget.

When Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition launches on PlayStation and Xbox next mont??h, you can strap in for a one-time entry fee of $29.99. There's also a 20 percent discount in place for those who preorder.

Robot Entertainment's newest release, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap offers a lo?t of choices to the player up front. They're all centered around spending Skulls that you collect as rew?ards from missions. If you're not sure what you should spend them on first, we'll help you out.

What's available to spend your Skulls on?

There are three main places to dump your Skulls into, and they're all important. That's what makes it an interesti??ng, albeit paralyzing, choice. There's a lot of appetizing options, and none of them are technically wrong. Any progress is still progress, after all.

The first category is T?rap Upgrades. Spending your Skulls with the merchant Hugo will allow you to improve your Traps. Each Trap will have three categories you can improve, usually revolving around cost, damage dealt, or recharge times. Each upgrade you purchase gets more expensive, regardless of where you put the point. So, if you feel like you want a trap to have a certain benefit, max out that category before leveling up others to get the best discount.

As a side ??note, whenever you finish a mission, you'll obtain a special Gold Skull that you can take to Hugo's brother Gus to purchase new traps from. Once you've purchased all the t??raps, you won't get any new Gold Skulls. You also won't need to talk to Gus much afterward.

The second category available for you involves character improvements. There's a Skill Tree you can view by talking with Gabriella. The massive tree applie??s to you as a player. Buffs purchased through it apply to each character. Each time you purchase a node on the tree, the next one gets more expensive, re?gardless of direction. There's a few specific nodes that have a fixed price due to them being special upgrades. We'll talk more about those later. Each character also has their own tree on the left, allowing you to power up your favorites.

Finally, you can also purchase additio?nal Threads. After each wave, you'll get a choice between 3 Threads to power up your character for the rest of the run. Threads you purchase get added to the pool of ones you can draw from. If you find yourself gravitating towards a particular character, think about getting their Threads ??first.

Personal Growth

With all these delightful options to augment your?? orc-smashing, is there really an optimal way to advance? We think there is, and it starts with the main characters. You should start dropping skulls into the skill tree first and foremost. Feel free to drop a couple of upgrades into traps while you're at it. Don't go too heavy, because you won't know what traps fit your playstyle right away.

A look at the skill tree in Orcs Must Die Deathtrap
Screenshot by Destructoid

In fact, you likely won't know which character you want to play. With six from the outset and a seventh unlockable, it'll take a few rounds to figure out who jives with you the most. While you're figuring that out and collecting some skulls in the process, make sure to keep upgrading the general ??hero tree. The upgrades you purchase will apply to all heroes, which is what makes it the best place to start. No matter what you purchase, everyone benefits.

When it comes to the skill tree, I recommend you build towards two specific ??points. First, go for the Anti-Boss perk at the top, a little to the left. This will be instrumental in you making progress. You might be able to make it past the first boss before getting this upgrade, but it will be essential for bosses beyond. After that, move towards the Utility Belt in the upper right-hand corner. That gives you an extra slot to your Loadouts, allowing you to take one more trap into battle. How you get there is up to you, but you should absolutely make a straight run for these skills first. While most of the skills on the tree get more expensive as you buy points, these two key abilities cost 2,000 skulls, no matter what. Keep that in mind while you're saving up.

Once you start to get a feel for the different characters, I recommend you also spend time upgrading their abilities. Each character requires their own upgrades, though the prices are the same for everyone. Who you want to play really depends on your personal play style, as well as whether you have a team. Ultimately, everyone is pretty viable, so give them all a try before you start powering up your favorites. If you're stuck on choosin??g, I recommend Harlow. She has a great close-range weapon, her sidekick Henry for extra damage, and her Pretty Lights ability rocks. It creates a zone that does damage over? time where the grenade lands.

Traps, Traps, Traps!

Once you've obtained the k??ey skills mentioned above and leveled up your character, it's time to get serious about your trap selection. By now, you should have had time to experiment with each of them. so you should know what you really want to invest in.

A look at the Trap Screen n Orcs Must Die Deathtrap
Screenshot by Destructoid

If you're not sure what traps to load up with and need a couple of suggesti??ons, I've got you. You can't go wrong with the new Rift Barricade. While it wasn't available at launch, it's absolutely a must-use now??. Aside from being an additional barricade, you can purchase with Rune Coins during a run; it also empowers adjacent traps.

There's also the Bramble. Place it next to a Rift Barricade in a choke-point and watch the orcs turn one patch into a whole field of destruction. It helps to carry a poison trap like the Poison Ga?s Emitter or the Poison Flower to combine with the?? Bramble with the correct Thread.

Finally, try out the wall blades. They're great for tearing up orcs around tight corner?s or in narrow paths. Plus, they're light on the wallet and aren't very big. This allows you to put them in sneakier places to dice your enemies into orc-amole.

Tie it all together with Threads

A look at the Thread Shop in Orcs Must Die Deathtrap
Screenshot by Destructoid

Lastly, there's Threads y??ou can purchase from the Weaver of Will. I consider th??ese to be the least important upgrade due to a couple of factors. Primarily, it's because they're expensive. But, there's also a lot that is specific to individual characters. You won't likely know who you're into using right away, so it's not worth just buying these early on. Plus, you'll unlock other Threads by completing challenges with one of the other Fate Weavers, so you'll still be getting plenty of upgrades for the system.

Once you've got a decent set of traps powered up, as well as your characters, you'll probably know exactly what Threads to get. The ones that correspond to you?r favorite characters and traps should be first, as well as the ones that help everything. Blunt the Knives, for example, is a strong one because Hunters will be a problem for a while. Getting this makes them much ??easier to deal with, but 500 skulls is a lot early on.

Delightful looking life sim Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time was previously delayed to April 2025, and while it won't quite make those plans either, we now have a date.?? Level-5 will launch the latest entry in the series across all platforms on May 21.

The previous delay was announced back in September of last year, putting a hold on its initial October 2024 launch plans. When it arrives this May, it will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, with cross-play and cross-save letting players live the same slow life from o?ne platform to another. For those wondering what it's all about, Level-5 went ahead and put all the features in one trailer.

While Japan is getting physical releases of the PlayStation 5 and Switch versions, all platforms will be digital-only in the west. Level-5 detailed all the digital options, including the $69.99 Digital Deluxe Edition that packs the base game with a bunch of in-game items and accessorie??s. Chief among them are the Mini Napdragon mount, an assortment of Napdragon weapons, and the "Ico?nic Outfit" pack.

Folks who pre-order from now until launch will also get the New Adve?nturer's Pack as a pre-order bonus. Here's a look at what you get for ?the early purchase:

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds features many Sonic the Hedgehog characters

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds features many residents from the world of Mobius, the largest roster so far for any Sonic racing game with 23 racers at launch, according to a website image leak from Sonic Paradise. Fansite Sonic Stadium confirmed the following are in the game:

  • Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Knuckles the Echidna
  • Miles "Tails" Prower
  • Amy Rose
  • Shadow the Hedgehog
  • Dr. Eggman
  • Rouge

Will there be Sega characters in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds?

A Sega press release has confirmed that the game will feature "iconic characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog and Sega universes," so it would make sense to see heroes like Billy Hatcher, Like a Dragon's Kazuma Kiryu, and Persona's Joker join the fray. We also saw a past track, inspired by After Burner, return in the gameplay reveal trailer.

It would be cool to race in areas like Persona 5's Momentos and Like a Dragon's KabukichĹŤ in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

What is unique about this game?

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is an exciting sequel to the series. It lets players drive through portals into different worlds in the blink of an eye. At one point, you'll be racing under dinosaurs, and the next, you might be drifting around a corner in a stadium. It's a unique take on the kart racing genre. We'll also be able to drive monster trucks and hoverboards Sonic Riders-style in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

It seems to be a decent alternative to the next Mario Kart entry, e?specially for those wh??o can't afford a Nintendo Switch 2.

Yumemizuki Mizuki has made her debut in Genshin Impact, winning hearts with her sweet demeanor and helpful attitude. For those who care about her combat ability,?? though, is Mizuki worth the Primogems?

Is Mizuki good in Genshin Impact?

Mizuki’s power level is fairly mediocre. She’s not terrible, but she’s not very strong by 5-star standards. In fact, she’s about on par with the 4-star character Sucrose. Sucrose even has the advantage of greater team flexibility since she can use Normal Attacks. You can think of Mizuki as an alternative to Sayu in terms of gameplay. She uses her Burst to heal, and stays on-field to deal Swirl damage with her Skill. To summarize, I don’t recommend pulling for Mizuki unless you really like her as a character. Even th??en, you might want to try your luck on the standard banner instead?.

Mizuki on the standard banner

If you don’t pull for Mizuki now, there’s a chance to obtain her on the standard banner after the 5.5 Version update. She will also appear as one of the 5-star options when you lose a 50/50 on the character banner. Once Mizuki’s current banner is over, she’s unlikely to receive a rate-up banner in the future, but there will always be a chance to pull her. Who knows she may spook you in ?the very next banner you pull on.

If you fail to obtain Mizuki by the time September rolls around, Genshin Impact offers a standard 5-star character selector for its anniversary. Since Mizuki is joining the standard pool, she will be one of the options when you choose your free 5-star char?acter. If you want Mizuki, you will pro?bably get Mizuki it’s just a matter of when.

Is Mizuki’s weapon worth it?

If you already have Mizuki, you may be eyeing her signature weapon: Sunny Morning Sleep-In. It’s virtually the only weapon in Genshin Impact that truly synergizes with her kit. It grants Mizuki a massive amount of Elemental Mastery and results in the most damage. I only recommend going for this weapon if you’re committed to making your Mizuki as powerful as possible. Otherwise, there are plenty of other 5-star and 4-star weapon options you can use when building Mizuki.

The kicker is that, as a standard character’s signature weapon, Sunny Morning Sleep-In is unlikely to return to the weapon banner. It may rerun in an Inazuma-themed Chronicled Wish banner in the future, but Archons know when that will be. If you’re on the fence about Mizuki’s weapon, this may be your only chance to obtain it fo??r a long time. My advice would be to skip the weapon and then see if you still want it when it reappears on a Chronicled Wish banner.

Less than a day after announcing their plans to reset Marvel Rivals players' Competitive Mode ranks, NetEase Games is crying Uncle (Ben?). After being swamped by a tsunami of "negative feedback, " the rising star hero-shooter has pulled the plug?? on what many fans have labeled its first big misstep.

Word that Marvel Rivals players would lose their hard-won competitive ranks came in a Dev Diary Post about the big mid-season patch set to drop on February 21, 2025. In its defense, the post wasn't all bad news: it confirmed that the patch will add Human Torch and The Thing to ??the game's roster, finally uniting all members of the Fantastic Four together as playable heroes.

However, most Marvel Rivals players (myself included) were far more interested in the news that the patch would also shave our ranking of the game in Competitive Mode down to half of what they were pre-patch. Marvel Rivals rewards players who reach certain ranks with unique costumes and "Crests of Honor they can p??roudly display on their p?late profiles, so losing these ranks could cut players off from receiving rewards they practically broke their fingers to collect.

Within minutes of this announcement going live, Marvel Rivals players descended on social media like a fleet of Ultron units. Reddit posts like this one made it clear as crystal that an overwhelming majority of fans weren't happy about this decision, and users on X (formally known as Twitter) punctuat?ed that opin??ion with some hilarious but frustration-fueled posts.

//twitter.com/DelacroixHero/status/1889028889927704918

Luckily, NetEase Games responded to their player base's ire almost immediately. In a second Dev Diary Post uploaded just hours after the one that started all this, the dev team announced they were quashing the planned rank cut. Acknowledging the massive? backlash the decision unleashed, NetEase confirmed that players' ranks will remain untouched until Season 1 ends and that ??players who've reached "Gold III" rank will receive the exclusive Blood Shield costume for Invisible Woman.

//twitter.com/MarvelRivals/status/1889208328955568455

While there's bound to be some lingering ill-will, the breakneck speed with which NetEase addressed their concerns shocked and delighted Marvel Rivals players. Other hero shooter dev teams would have taken days, if not weeks, to acknowledge a controversial move on their part, let alone address it. By mending a bridge that wasn't even broken yet, NetEase has confirmed its commitment to its fans. If responses like this Reddit post are anything to go on, Marvel Rivals players are grateful for the change and willing to forgive, sending a message other game d??evelope??rs might want to listen to.

Yumemizuki Mizuki is an on-field Swirl DPS in Genshin Impact, and her unique kit means there are some quirks to her team setup. Here are the best teammates for Mizuki in Genshin Impact, sorted by element.

Mizuki’s teambuilding requirements

There are a couple of things to keep in mind when choosing teammates for Mizuki. Firstly, she needs something to trigger Swirl with, so Pyro, Hydro, Electro, and Cryo teammates are essential. Secondly, Mizuki is unable to use Normal Attacks while in her Dreamdrifter state, so teammate abilities can’t rely on Normal Attacks to function. Let’s look at the best characters in Genshin Impact who meet these requirements.

Best teammates for Mizuki

In general, you can mix and match teammates as you wish, as long as they deal some form of off-field Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo damage, However, a few specific cha??racters stand out as great partners for Mizuki.

Furina standing in front of the Opera Epiclese holding Fleuve Cendre Ferryman

Electro-Charged Mizuki with Furina

The first notable mention is Furina, who deals significant off-field damage and buffs the entire team. Mizuki’s healing also helps to offset Furina’s health-drain mechanics. Combine Furina with Electro characters like Fischl or Yae Miko for a powerful Electro-Charged comp.

Mizuki’s Pyro teams

Xiangling (paired with Bennett) makes for a great Pyro option. Make sure to stand in Bennett’s Burst circle while casting Xiangling’s Burst, and her Pyronado will keep his buff for its entire duration. Mavuika is also a strong option. Add Furina or any other elements you?? desire to get some reactions going.

Non-Swirlable teammates for Mizuki

Mizuki can’t Swirl Dendro, but Emilie, Nahida, or Dendro Traveler can be interesting additions to a Burning-based team. Xilonen can help provide buffs and additional RES shred. I recommend only having one teammate with a non-Swirlable element (Anemo, Dendro, Geo)?? so that Mizuki can still consistently trigger Swirl with her other teammates.

Comprehensive teammate list for Mizuki

Below is a list of all characters in Genshin Impact who can work with Mizuki. Mix and match from the recommended teammates as desired. The “other?? teammatescolumn has characters who can technically work with Mizuki, but have significant caveats like low damage or redundant roles. My personal favorites are in bold. Mizuki’s teams are quite flexible, so feel free to experiment and have fun!

Element Recommended teammates Other teammates
Pyro Xiangling (+Bennett), Mavuika Pyro Traveler, Dehya
Hydro Furina Mona, Ayato (Burst only), Kokomi, Barbara
Electro Fischl, Yae Miko, Ororon, Lisa Kuki Shinobu, Dori, Raiden
Cryo Kaeya, Citlali, Ganyu, Rosaria, Layla  Shenhe, Charlotte
Other Xilonen, Emilie, Nahida, Dendro Traveler

Yumemizuki Mizuki is a 5-star Anemo Catalyst user in Genshin Impact. Like most Anemo Catalyst users, she excels in Swirl damage. Unlike her peers, though, Mizuki has a unique playstyle that can take some getting used to. Here’s how to play Mizuki as a Swirl DPS in Genshin Impact.

Yumemizuki Mizuki’s kit explained

Firstly, we should familiarize ourselves with Mizuki’s kit. Her Normal Attacks are a string of weak Anemo hits. Mizuki never uses Normal Attacks in combat, so we can ignore them for now.

Mizuki’s Skill makes her float and enter the Dreamdrifter state. While in the Dreamdrifter state, Mizuki becomes a turret, dealing Anemo damage at intervals on nearby enemies. Mizuki cannot use Normal Attacks while in the Dreamdrifter state. She also continuously floats forward there’s no way to stop and hover in place. She can sti??ll dodge, at least.

Mizuki’s Burst summons a series of little snacks on the field. Touching a snack while low on HP will heal the active character. If you have at least 70% HP, though, it will instea??d deal Anemo dam??age in an AoE.

How to play Mizuki as an on-field Swirl DPS

Mizuki’s playstyle revolves around triggering as many Swirls as possible while she’s on the field. This means setting up off-field teammate abilities, switching to Mizuki, and then using her Burst and Skill. Float around your enemies, picking up snacks and dealing continuous Swirl damage. With the right build, Mizuki’s Swirls should be hitting for bigger numbers than even Kazuha or Sucrose. Once Mizuki’s Dreamdrifter state ends, switch to her teammates and start ??your rotation anew. T??o summarize:

  1. Rotate through teammates to set up their off-field abilities.
  2. Switch to Mizuki.
  3. Cast Mizuki’s Burst, then Skill.
  4. Float around enemies and try to pick up snacks when you see them.
  5. When Mizuki stops floating, restart your rotation.

With the steps above and the right teammates, your Mizuki should become ??a unique on-field DPS who simultaneously deals damage and heals herself.&nb??sp;

Once you're comfortable with the mechanics, check out the best teams to pair with Mizuki in Genshin Impact.

Past Monster Hunter games have offered extensive customization options for both the player character and animal companions. The newest entry to the series, Monster Hunter Wilds, lets pla??yers create their Hunter’s look, as well as that of their Pali??co. But what about your Seikret?

Seikret customization in the open beta

When starting Monster Hunter Wilds, you’re met with elaborate customization options for your Hunter and Palico, but not your Seikret mount. You find a Seikret during one of the opening cu??tscenes, after which it becomes your trusty companion. This Seikret is green and purple and comes with a predetermined set of gear.

In the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta, the Seikret is not customizable. You can?? change the appearance of your Hunter and Palico at any time, but not your Seikret.

Keep in mind that the open beta is just that: a beta. Players are only given access to a small slice of the full game. The full release of Monster Hunter Wilds will? be much bigger with lots of additional features.

Seikret customization in the full release

Despite what we can see in the open beta, there are many indications that the full release of Monster Hunter Wilds will include some degree of Seikret customization. Some of the DLC bonus packs include special accessories for your Seikret, and one of the developer showcase streams included a striking red and yellow Seikret. During this stream, it was c??onfirmed that not only can you dress up your Seikret, but you can change its color too!

//youtu.be/SZ3L0-Q5tHw?t=1235

How exactly this will work remains a mystery. Perhaps players will find new Seikret mounts as the story progresses, or somehow gain the ability to dye their Seikret’s feathers. Some accessories can be bought in DLC cosmetic packs, but I expect other accessories to be obtainable via gameplay. All we know for now is that Seikrets can indeed be dressed up it’s just a matter of how.

The Zone is a frighteningly lethal backdrop in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, so any scavenger worth their salt understa?nds the value of packing serious heat.

GSC Game World's survival shooter offer?s trespassers 35 different firearms to meet their needs, and rare versions of thes??e weapons are scattered across the game's anomalous locale. One of these "unique" guns is the Clusterfuck, a modified AR416 fitted with a sniper scope that amplifies its range over the base type. Stalker 2 maps of the Zaton region, and the Skadovsk, Shevchenko, and Port Cranes areas within Zaton.

The Clusterfuck is located in the Zaton reg??ion in The Zone's?? southwest and is found during the side quest "Three Captains." Loners first travels to Zaton during the story mission "In Search of a Guide" to meet up with Richter at Skadovsk or Shevchenko. A trader in Skadovsk named Sonya Kalyna is the quest giver for "Three Captains," but two other side quests must be completed first before it can trigger.

Within the grounded cargo ships, killers get involved in the rivalry between Sultan and Beard, the respective leaders of the two communities?. Kalyna explai?ns the two men were allies before the Sultan exiled Beard, renaming Skadovsk after himself. Below is the shortened sequence of events that must be fulfilled to trigger "Three Captains":

  • Speak with Kalyna at Skadovsk
  • Speak with Sultan beginning "The Mysterious Case"
  • Complete "The Mysterious Case"
  • Speak with Beard in Shevchenko triggering "Bullseye"
  • Complete "Bullseye"
  • Speak with Kalyna again to begin "Three Captains"
  • Find Clusterfuck in the sniper's nest during "Three Captains"

A trader-ous plot

Explorers must run errands for the bosses in the form of two si??de quests: retrieving "The Mysterious Case" for Sultan and rescuing Beard's men in "Bullseye." Sultan accuses Beard of interfering with the case's retrieval, and Beard claims Sultan had his men captured. The head honchos arrange a meeting at a neutral location to settle the matter.

At this time, robbers lea??rn Kalyna is responsible for the missing case and the abducted men. The traitorous trader asks stalkers to aid her plan to assassinate both community leaders during the meeting. Her goal is to grab power amidst the vacuum?? left by Sultan and Beard, unite Zaton, and expand her reach into neighboring regions.

Agreeing to assist Kalyna's plot begins "Three Captains" and directs scavengers to Port Cranes, where they'll find a sniper overseeing the meeting from atop a massive construction crane. The Clusterfuck is inside the sniper's nest at the to?p. After taking the sniper out, t??respassers can decide to kill Sultan and Beard or Kalyna's men.

Clusterfuck Weapon Stats

  • Damage: 1.6/5
  • Penetration: 2.1/5
  • Rate of Fire: 4.95/5
  • Range: 2.4/5
  • Accuracy: 4/5
  • Magazine Size: 30
  • Caliber: 5.56x45
  • Firing Mode(s): Single shot
  • Weight: 4.56kg
  • Inventory Size: 5x2

The Clusterfuck essentially combines the best attributes of snipers, assault rifles, and shotguns in Stalker 2. An outstandin?g rate of fire and larg?e magazine save adventurers from untimely reloads during firefights. Trading full auto-firing mode for a sniper scope boosts its damage, range, accuracy, and penetration. 5.56x45 caliber ammunition is incredibly abundant, keeping the weapon from weighing down your inventory. These attributes combine to make the Clusterfuck a ridiculously versatile juggernaut.

The rare Sorcerer Hat Hermit Crab Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredient can help you make two kinds of fish dishes in Chez Remy or your home's stove. You can even make some furniture at the crafting station with this ingredient, such as the Agrab?ah Chair, the Autumn Mage Scarecrow, a??nd more.

Sorcerer Hat Hermit Crab Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredient location

The Sorcerer Hat Hermit Crab in Disney Dreamlight Valley can only be retrieved with the A Rift in Time DLC. Otherwise, it can't be obtained. Head over to The Bind in Storybook Vale. Look around the water and try? to spot orange ripples in the water. Thankfully, I was able to find one fairly quickly. Get your fishing rod o??ut.

It may be difficult to catch the So??rcerer Hat Hermit Crab, but after four or five rhythm beats, you should be able to catch this little guy. If you have a friend who has the fishing specialty, you'll have a chance to grab two of the Sorcerer Hat Hermit Crab while also leveling up their friendship meter.

If you decide to sell the Sorcerer Hat Hermit ??Crab to Goofy at his stall, you can get 800 Star ?Coins. You can also consume it raw for 1,500 Energy.

How to cook with this crab

The Sorcerer Hat Hermit Crab can help you make the four-star meal Arcane Garlic Crab. You'll need the following ingredients:

  • Garlic
  • Sorcerer Hat Hermit Crab
  • Salt Crystal
  • Any spice (Cinnamon, Basil, Oregano, etc)

Screenshot by Destructoid

Garlic can be retrieved from the grounds of Everafter's The Wild Woods and Teapot Falls. It can also be acquired in the Forest of Valor.

Salt Crystals can be picked up by fishing in areas outside ripples in The Wild Woods, Teapot Falls, The Fallen Fortress, and The Beanstalk Marshes.

You can easily get a spice like Oregano from The Plaza in the main valley, where our adventures began.

Bring all of these ingredients together at any cooking station from your home or Chez Remy by throwing them into the pot. You'll then have the Arcane Garlic Crab to sell for around 1,380 Star Coins or eat it for 3,393 Ene?rgy, depending on the ingredients you choose.

Yumemizuki Mizuki (say that five times fast) is a 5-star Anemo Catalyst user in Genshin Impact. As an on-field Swirl DPS, Mizuki’s build requirements are quite unique. Here’s h?ow to build Mizuki to blow away your competition!

What Talents to level on Mizuki

The Swirl reaction on its own doesn’t rely on Talent levels to deal damage. The top priority for Mizuki is to reach level 90 with as much Elemental Mastery as possible. Then, you can work on her Talents.

As for her Talents, prioritize Mizuki’s Skill, then Burst. ??Her Skill levels will increase the bonus damage dealt by her Swirls. Mizuki’s Burst levels increase her ?healing. You can ignore Mizuki’s Normal Attacks since they aren’t used in combat at all.

Best artifacts for Mizuki

Mizuki should equip the 4pc Viridescent Venerer (4VV) set. This is hands-down the best artifact set for Mizuki’s damage. If you don’t have a full 4VV set, equip whatever you have t?hat provid??es the most Elemental Mastery and use it to farm a full set.

Viridescent Venerer artifact set effect in Genshin Impact

Sands Goblet Circlet
Elemental Mastery
Energy Recharge
Elemental Mastery Elemental Mastery

As for artifact stats, Mizuki only cares about two: Elemental Mastery (EM) and Energy Recharge (ER). EM main stats across the board will result in the highest damage, and you should be ab??le to get enough Energy Recharge through substats. An Energy Recharge Sands can be a comfortable option, though, if you prefer more reliable Burst uptime at the expense of a bit of damage.

How much Energy Recharge does Mizuki need?

Mizuki’s ER requirements will depend heavily on her team but generally aren’t that high. Instead of aiming for a specific number, I recommend just focusing on obtaining artifacts with EM main stats and E??R su?bstats. As a ballpark estimate, 160% should be fine for most teams.

Best weapons for Mizuki

Mizuki’s best weapon is Sunny Morning Sleep-In, her signature 5-star Catalyst. It grants a significant amount of EM, making it the highest-damage option for Mizuki. Before you go gambling on the weapon banner, though, see if you already have any of the other weapons tha??t can work on Mizuki.

Mizuki's signature weapon Sunny Morning Sleep-In from Genshin Impact
Screenshot by Destructoid

A Thousand Floating Dreams or Starcaller’s Watch are strong contenders for second place. W?hile their passives aren’t ideal for Mizuki, they still provide a good amount of EM through their secondary stat. Both weapons are limited 5-star Catalysts, though, so I only recommend using these if you already happen to have them.

Mizuki’s best 4-star weapon

As for 4-star weapons, Sacrificial Fragments is Mizuki’s strongest option for personal damage. It has the highest EM secondary stat of all 4-star Catalysts and can potentially allow for shorter rotations through its passive. You don’t even need a high-Refinement Sacrificial Fragm?ents since its passive isn’t actually necessary.

Wandering Evenstar results in less personal damage but provides a?n ATK buff to Mizuki’s teammates based on her EM stat. If you’re okay with sacrificing some of Mizuki’s damage in ex??change for more team damage, Wandering Evenstar is a great option. Refinements are welcome, but they might be hard to obtain due to Wandering Evenstar’s status as a limited weapon.

Best free-to-play weapon for Mizuki

Fruit of Fulfillment is Mizuki’s best weapon for free-to-play pl??ayers who might not have the other options above. Its ER secondary stat means you can safely opt for EM sands, and it provides Mizuki with a decent EM buff. Fruit of Fulfillment can be crafted at any blacksmith using billets. If you decide to equip Mizuki with Fruit of Fulfillment, I recommend Refining it as much as you can.

Marvel Rivals' new update gave Captain America and Luna Snow some fantastic new costumes, but it also s??nuck in some bug fixes that ironed out a few hero-specific glitches. Among these was a fix to a pair of crippling is?sues plaguing everyone's goopy alien antihero, Venom.

Marvel Rivals' new patch fixes crippling glitches affecting Venom

Since launch, Venom has sat comfortably at or near the top of Marvel Rivals' meta, and as a Venom mai?n, I agree with the consensus on this one. Recently, though, I and other Venom players have had issues with Spider-Man's perennial? rivals' signature abilities.

The first of these glitches affects Venom's... well, Venom Swing, one of the essential tools in the Symbiote-suited warrior's move set. If you use this in tandem with his wall-climbing ability and his Frenzied Arrival attack, Venom stops being a pretty standard Vanguard and becomes a terrifying ambush hunter. Trust me; dropping on an unsuspecting enemy team like a Xenomorph fresh off a hunger strike is one of Marvel Rivals' greatest pleasures.

Unfortunately, it didn't take long for Marvel Rivals players to notice that Venom Swing doesn't always work how it should. Sometimes, Venom's wing doesn't stop when he hits a wall,? which is supposed to end the swing and give him a chance to cling to the wall. This? can lead to catastrophic physics failures like the one you see below.

//www.reddit.com/r/marvelrivals/comments/1hr40va/rank_1_venom_play/

Venom Swing wasn't the only trick in Venom's arsenal that came out of the oven undercooked. Venom's ultimate ability, Feast of the Abyss, can be one of the most devastating in the game. By diving below the earth and re-emerging with a mouth the size of an elephant, Venom can deal massive damage to a group of enemy players AND punch them into the air, leaving them stunned. But if you used the ability as soon as you submerged, you wouldn't inflict any damage or knock anyone off their feet. Which can turn what could have been a glorious group kill into an embarrassing death.

Luckily for Venom lovers, Marvel Rivals' newest patch has fixed both issues. Now that we know he won't end up like Wile E. Coyote after a nasty Acme shopping spree, we can put any fears that Venom might lose his throne at the summit of Marvel Rivals' tier list to bed.

Who doesn't love a good roadmap? Rabbit & Bear Studios, the folks behind Suikoden spiritual successor Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, just laid out one of their own with dates for thr??ee upcoming story expansions.

Players won't have to wait too long for the updates, each focusing on one of three main characters. It all starts on February 27 with The Chapter of Marisa, a Marisa-centric expansion that spins a yarn about the character's encounter with an enchanted girl. What happens when the pair set out to dig through the secrets of the "Child of the Rune," and what sinister forc?es are at work behind the scenes?

After that, we have The Chapter of Seign to look forward to on March 13, tasking Seign with handling an issue within the Galdean empire. The Chapter of Markus closes things out o?n April 3, as Markus, Carrie, and Nowa investigate the strange realm beyond a newly unlocked teleportation gateway.

All three chap??ters will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. If you fancy continuing your adventure over the next few months, the story expansions will be priced at $7.99 each.

It's also worth noting that, according to the latest Kickstarter update, these scenarios are the last parts of the game that Suikoden and Eiyuden Chronicles creator Yoshitaka Murayama worked on directly. The industry veteran passed?? away on February 6, 2024, af?ter dealing w??ith "complications with an ongoing illness." Maruyama was very enthusiastic about the project, so it will no doubt be worth seeing how his final pieces of input shaped the DLC to come.

In Genshin Impact, the multi-element Traveler usually obtains Constellations by progressing quests and exploration in the many nations of Teyvat. Pyro Traveler breaks this pattern, though, and their Constellations are harder to obtain. Here’s what you need to unlock all of Pyro Traveler’s Constellations in Genshin Impact.

SPOILER WARNING: The content below contains heavy spoilers for the end of Natlan’s Archon Quests. Pyro Traveler Constellations are only obtainable after completing Chapter V Act V: Incandescent Ode of?? Resurrection, so come back here after you’ve experienced it!

Pyro Traveler Constellations explained

When you first obtain Pyro Traveler, you’ll see an animation where all six of your Constellations are unlocked at once. While this is exciting at first, the Constellations you unlock during the Archon Que?st only take effect in specific scenarios.

These special Constellation effects start with the text, “When oppos??ing the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire incarnated by Gosoythoth…meaning they only take effect against this particular boss. This makes Pyro Traveler one of the most overpowered characters for the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire weekly boss challenge, but their Constellations lose their effects as soon as you leave the domain. Their true Constellations must be unlocked separately.

How to get Blazing Flint Ore

Instead of the typical Stella Fortuna, Pyro Traveler requires Blazing Flint Ore to unlock Constellations. Blazing Flint Ore is earned by reaching Reput??ation Level 4 with each of Natlan’s tribes. There are six tribes in total, so there are six Blazing Flint Ores to collect one for each Constellatio?n. (Only five tribes are available as of Version 5.4, but the last tribe should be released soon.)

To reach Reputation Rank 4 with each tribe, visit the obsidian totem at their tribal base, denoted by a triangular icon on your map. Complete?? bounties, fulfill supply requests, explore the area, and do world quests to fill in the Reputation meter. Tribal Chronicles quests are also a great source of Reputation EXP. Bounties and supply requests refre??sh every Monday, so it may take a few weeks to earn enough Reputation EXP. Once you’ve reached Rank 4, claim your Blazing Flint Ore from the rewards menu.

How to use Blazing Flint Ore

Once you have Blazing Flint Ore, head to the Throne of Primal Fire in Ochkanatlan. After witnessing The Captain take the throne, you should be ab??le to teleport directly there. Make sure Pyro Traveler is in your party and interact with the throne to exchange your Blazing Flint Ores for Constellations.

The Constellations ?you unlock here act like normal Constellations and will be active for Pyro Traveler no matter where they are. You can view both the boss-specific effects and normal effects in your Traveler’s Constellation menu.

Famous RPG developer Obsidian is launching its next fantasy roleplaying game, Avowed, into the wild on February 18. This game is a new action RPG that takes place in the acclaimed Pillars of Eternity universe but doesn't necessarily require you to play those games to get into this experience. You'll be investigating a plague that has afflicted the Living Lands, and it is up to you to thwart it with your melee and magical skills. Back in November, our preview called the game a "masterpiece in the making."

"Its accessible mechanics make it a welcoming experience for newcomers to the genre, while its diverse combat tactics provide a satisfying challenge," said the article by Kristina Ebanez. "In just a few hours, I found myself lost in its expansive world, filled with a variety of activities." Hopefully, it can deliver, despite its limitation to 30 frames per second on Xbox Series X|S. It's one of those February 2?025 games to be excited for, regardless.

The leader you choose, like Benjamin Franklin or Lafayette, has a unique ability, and according to the Steam page, "can further be improved with customizable attributes earned through gameplay." They?? are? no longer tied to a specific society.

"Firaxis probably could have gotten away with a safer approach with this installment, opting for just better graphics," said our 9/10 review. "I??nstead, it boldly revamped a lot of the core systems to make the entire game more streamlined for both newcom?ers and veterans alike."

This open world game is advertised to feature "bustling cities" and "lush forests" as you explore the historic-themed areas.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 seems to be the first big critical hit of 2025. It currently has an 88 Metacritic score from 53 different outlets for its PC version. "Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one I often dreamed of existing when I was growing up watching a ton of medieval-time movies and TV shows," said our review. "One where you get to actually make decisions, and have complete control over your choices, right or wrong." It also says that the game has "such a satisfy??ing and rewarding combat system," despite some bugs along the way.

After getting shipwrecked and saved by a kid named Noah, he finds himself on the high seas taking on modern-day pirates and criminals along the way in an eccentric adventure that features dual-blade action and a customizable ship. It may put the extremely dull Skull and Bones to shame as it also features naval combat.

As this is a spinoff, fans are expecting the game to be shorter than the mainline Like a Dragon/Yakuza titles. Thankfully, it will be around 1.3-1.5x longer than Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, according to a Famitsu interview (via GameRant) with Ryu Ga Gotoku boss Mas??ayoshi Yokoyama, so there will be quite a lot of co??ntent to scour through.

Most 5-star characters in Genshin Impact are limited, meaning they’re only obtainable during specific event banners. However, a select few are relegated to the standard pool, giving players a chance to pull ??the character even when they’re not featured. Is Yumemizuki Mizuki fated to be limited or standard?

Mizuki will be a standard 5-star character

HoYoverse confirmed during a version preview that Yumemizuki Mizuki will be added to the standard 5-star character pool. This means her upcoming banner in the first half of Version 5.4 will likely be the only dedicated event banner for Mizuki. After her banner comes to an end, you’ll have a small chance to obtain her on other limited character banners, on the standard banner, or on Chronicled Wish banners.

Dehya from Genshin Impact stands next to a Trishiraite crystal.

Does this mean Mizuki will be bad?

Those who were around during the Dehya debacle might be anxious at this news. Standard 5-star characters range from fairly decent (Tighnari, Jean) to outright terrible (Dehya, Qiqi). Being added to the standard pool?? is a por?tent of mediocrity. Dehya, the most recent character to make her way to the standard banner, is notorious for being particularly weak.

Mizuki will likely never reach the power level of Mavuika or Neuvillette, but she doesn’t seem to be bad either. From what we’ve seen so far, Mizuki will have a unique kit, be easy to b?uild, and work with many teammates. If you like Mizuki and want to play a Swirl DPS, then Mizuki will be a perfectly fine pull.

That being said, unless you really like Mizuki, I recommend holding off on her limited event banner. Save your precious Primogems for a character you love, and you might accidentally get Mizuki along the way. Emphasis on “might. It took me more than two years of playing Genshin Impact to get my first Mona.

Balachko is a special Pyro Fatui Agent in the Natlan region of Genshin Impact. As a Local Legend, Balachko is a miniboss with greatly increased health an?d damage compared to most overworld enemies. Three achievements are associated with defeating this shady figure, so let’s get to work.

Where to find Local Legend Balachko

Balachko can be found near the People of the Springs, in the cave to the left of the Sanctum of Rainbow Spirits domain. There are a few tribal enemies in a camp. Defeat all the enemie?s to clear the way and unlock a Precious Chest. Balachko is behind a locked gate that requires two Keys to Somewhere to open.

Where to find the Keys to Somewhere

The first Key to Somewhere can be found in a cage at the far end of the cave. The second Key is at the end of a rope dangling from the ceiling above the Precious Chest. You can climb on the chest or some nearby boxes to reach it or jump up with a tall character. Once you h?ave both keys, activate the switch to open the gate. Balachko awaits in a small arena be??hind the gate.

Beating Local Legend Balachko: which clone is the real one?

Prepare to fight Balachko by bringing at least one Hydro character. You may also want to cook some food to grant yourself buffs. Local Legends are no joke; Balachko can down you in one hit if you’re not careful, and he has a massive health pool. Shielders like Zhongli and Diona can help prevent you from being one-shot. If you’re having trouble beating Balachko in your world, see if you can join someone else at a lower World Level. Since overworld enemies scale to the host’s World Level, ?you might have an easier time in co-op.

As a Pyro Fatui Agent, Balachko has a nasty habit of going invisible and summoning shadowlike clones of himself. Periodically, he will uncloak himself and attack you in tandem with his clones. Deal damage when you can, and wait for him to summon a ring of clones around himself. These clones will throw blades at you. Only the real Balachko throws a red Pyro blade. The clones throw white Physical blades. Look for the clone that launches a Pyro blade and hit?? it with Hydro attacks to br??eak through Balachko’s disguise.

Once you’ve broken Balachko’s shield, he’ll be stunned for a while and take increased damage. Take this opportunity to deal as much damage as possible. You’ll only have a few seconds enough for one team rotation. After he recovers, repeat the previous steps to stun hi?m again.

How to get all achievements for Local Legend Balachko

Genshin Impact features three achievements associated with Balac??hko. They must be done one at a time; you can’t do multiple in one fight. Once defeated,?? Balachko respawns daily, so these achievements will take a minimum of three days to complete. If you don’t want to wait for him to respawn, see if you can tackle him in another player’s world.

Balachko Achievement 1

Balachko Achievement 1 is simply to defeat him. Refer to the steps above and do whatever you need to do to?? win the fight.

Balachko Achievement 2

Balachko Achievement 2 requires you to destroy only the real Balachko during the ring-of-clones phase. Look for the clone that throws a Pyro-infused blade and hit it with Hydro attacks. Single-target Hydro appliers like Yelan or Xingqiu are helpful, since AoE attacks ris??k hitting other clones in the area. Hitting a clon??e once or twice is fine as long as they are not destroyed. After meeting this requirement, defeat Balachko to get the achievement.

Balachko Achievement 3

Balachko Achievement 3 requires you to destroy three fake clones during one phase. I recommend bringing multiple Hydro characters to apply as much Hydro as fast as you can. I got this achievement using X??ingqiu and Kokomi. Look for the clones throwing white Physical blades and hit them with Hydro attacks as quickly as possible. You need to take down three clones during a single phase. After taking down three clones, focus on the real Balachko. You might need?? to wait for the next ring-of-clones phase, where you can just target the actual boss. Defeat him to get the achievement.

Atari is digging into its catalog of classics for another revival. This time it's the 1976 arcade game Breakout, which is coming back in style to spare thanks to the folks behind the BIT.TRIP series.

Developer Choice Provisions' take on the arcade block-buster is titled Breakout Beyond, and at a glance, it's reminiscent of a few revivals that have opted for similarly explosive aesthetics. The gameplay itself is built upon the same core concept, but Beyond fires from its unassuming paddle with ricocheting lightning ??bolts a??nd dynamic bursts of fireworks.

Oh yeah, and Breakout now plays horizontally, so there's that, too. Here's a look at how the colorful mea??ns of progression looks in action:

//www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wKT_MzXDTE

Movement and destruction looks suitably chaotic despite the simplistic underpinnings, and it's all set to the rhythm of procedural audio and visual effects. As players move across the screen, they'll be tasked with building up combos to break through barriers so they ??can clear a path to the final goal. Special blocks are scattered throughout the arena, too, providing bonuses like brick-clearing explosions, protective barriers, and a laser cannon.

Breakout Beyond boasts 72 leve??ls in total, all of which are available? to challenge solo or cooperatively with another player. From the short burst we get to see in the above trailer, co-op looks to make the proceedings even more chaotic, with the second player positioned to ricochet side-by-side or strategically placed behind or in front of their partner.

There's no concrete release date at this time other than being due out "later this year." When Breakout Beyond launches, it'll be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation?? 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Atari? VCS.

Not all DPS characters are made equal in Genshin Impact, and we have a pretty comprehensive list of who’s strong and who isn’t. But one strange interaction between an ability and a consumable item has elevated a certain Traveler from the bottom?? of the rankings to the top.

Hydro Traveler’s lantern bomb

Genshin Impact is currently celebrating the lunar new year with its annual ?Lantern Rite event. As part of the event, players can purchase items called Xiao Lanterns from an NPC in Liyue. Older players might even have some Xiao Lanterns stockpiled from the very first Lantern Rite event in 2021. Xiao Lanterns are consumable items that, when used from the inventory, summon pretty paper lanterns that float gently into the sky. You can summon as many Xiao Lanterns as you like, filling the sky with a cloud of lanterns until they despawn a few seconds later.

Well, if you create several Xiao Lanterns on top of an enemy and ??then use Hydro Traveler’s Burst, you can deal many instances of Hydro damage in quick succession. The damage is enough to decimate the toughest enemies and possibly crash your game. The sheer number of lanterns can cause massive amounts of lag, too.

//youtu.be/iSApkU5IuTw?t=128

How does the Hydro Traveler bug work?

There are two theories for how the Hydro Traveler/Xiao Lantern interaction works. Hydro Traveler’s Burst is usually pretty mediocre. It creates a moving ball of water that,?? while decently powerful, passes through enemies too quickly to deal meaningful damage. When the ball of water first hits an entity, it triggers one tick of AoE damage. Additional damage is dealt at a fixed rate if the enemy remains within the water bubble as it moves forward.

The first theory is that Xiao Lanterns are coded as unique entities, so when the ball of water hits a lantern?, it triggers an instance of damage. Multiply this by several dozen lanterns, and you get lots of dama?ge ticks at once. This explains the rapid rate of damage that outpaces the ability’s normal tick rate.

The s??econd theory is that Xiao Lanterns are physically stopping the ball of water from passing through the enemy. The lanterns have collision, so a wall of lanterns can prevent Hydro Traveler’s Burst from moving forward, forcing the enemy to take repeated ticks of damage. While this interaction may be happening, it doesn’t explain how so much damage happens at once, well bey?ond the typical tick rate for a Hydro Traveler Burst.

Will Hydro Traveler be patched?

As of writing, Genshin Impact’s developer HoYoverse has not acknowledged any issues with Hydro Traveler or Xiao Lanterns. It’s un?clear if this interaction will be patched, since Xiao Lanterns are only available for purchase for a limited time. Items like Xiao Lanterns can’t be used in the Spiral Abyss, either, limiting where this strategy c??an be used.

I don’t recommend trying to trigger t?his bug yourself. It’s clearly unintended behavior, and HoYoverse has a history of cracking down on players who exploit bugs to gain an advantage. Your account may face a temporary or permanent ban. In the meantime, let’s just wait and see if we get apologems in the mail.

The Seafood Salad Disney Dreamlight Valley recipe is a fantastic heal?thy option for your friends like Donald and Mulan. You'll only need two ingredients to create this dish, thankfully.

Seafood Salad Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredients

To create the two-star meal Seafood Salad, you'll need two ingr??edients. They include:

  • Any Seafood (Squid, Lobster, etc)
  • Lettuce

Screenshot by Destructoid

Lettuce is easy to find. You can buy the seeds for 3 Star Coins from Goofy's Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. You may also be lucky an??d be able to purchase the actual ingredient itself. Thankfully, the seeds don't take long to grow after being planted and watered. The growing process takes?? just three minutes.

You can use any seafood for this dish. One important thing to note, however, is that fish don't count towards the Seafood Salad. You'll need to catch lobsters, squid, basically anything without fins. Clams, Oysters, and Scallops are the easiest to find as they can be picked up from the sand at D??azzle Beach.

If you want the dish to be more val?uable, however, you may want to find Lobsters instead. You can find the crustacean in the Glade of Trust within orange ripples. Use your fishing rod and try to catch the lobster.

By the way, you should hang out with a valley friend who has the fishing specialty on them. Not only will their friendship level progress, but they have a chance to double your catch, s?o you can get two lobsters with one cast.

Create the dish

Head to any cooking station within Chez Remy or your house and chuck both ingredients in the pot. You'll then have the Seafood Salad ready to eat. If you have Lobster in you??r dish, you can sell it at Goofy's Stall for 1,245 Star Coins or eat it for 2,865 Energy.

Have spare lobsters in your bag? You can make an awesome Lobster Roll. It pro?bably won't beat the one I had in Boston though!

The Apple Cider Glazed Salmon Disney Dreamlight Valley recipe is a tantalizing meal for any of your Disney friends like Minnie or Goofy. T??his three-star dish can be created from ingredients you can find in the original valley, no DLC is needed.

Apple Cider Glazed Salmon Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredients

To crea??te Apple Cider Glazed Salmon, you'll n?eed the following ingredients:

  • Salmon
  • Apple
  • Sugarcane

Where to find Salmon in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can fish for Salmon in the Sunlit Plateau or the Frosted Heights. If you have som??e of the DLC, you can also catch it from The Grasslands or The ?Promenade. They are caught from white ripples in the water as they are a common fish to obtain. Bring a friend from the valley who has the fishing specialty attached to them. For example, I had Mirabel with me. Catching fish with a person with this specialty increases their friendship level and gives you a chance to double your catch.

Apples can be picked from trees in the Plaza. ??There is one ??tree that's right next to my house in the game, making this fruit easy to grab.

Lastly, Sugarcane seeds can be bought from Goofy in Dazzle Beach. He sells them for 5 Star Coins each. They'll take seven minutes to grow once you've p??lanted and watered them.

Let's bring this dish together

Now you have all of the ingredients, you can now bring them together in any cooking station. Head to your home or Chez Remy (Remy's restaurant, which also sells Butter, Eggs, and more). Throw all three ingredients into the pot, and you'll have the Apple Cider?? Glazed Salmon ready to serve. C'?est magnifique!

You can sell the Apple Cider Glazed Salmon for 271 Star Coins or eat it for 1,572 Energy. It may also be a dish that a villager requests at Chez Remy. If you give it to them, their friendship level rises significantly. If you keep cooking three-star dishes, this will contribute to your Dream?light tasks.

This time last year, the finale of Bombservice's Momodora series of indie Metroidvanias had just hit PC, and as revealed during today's PLAYISM Game Show Mini, Moonlit Farewell is making the leap to ?consoles on February?? 6, 2025.

While there's no shortage of options for Metroidvanias, there's something truly special about the Momodora series. You'll soon be able to explore this excellent swan song on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Here's a Switch trailer from the announcement for another look at what Moonlit Farewell has to offer.

//www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0wFKVMzl2s

For my money, Momodora: Moonlit Farewell ticks all the right boxes. It's not too long but still clocks in with a beefier advent?ure than its predecessors. The visuals are outstanding, the bosses are all fun to fight, and the new Sigil system offers up a mix of interesting buffs and tempting risk-reward debuffs.

As for new stuff, it sounds like the console version will just include content from the major updates, like the Boss Rush mode. The press release also? mentions a newly added post-credits boss battle, which was also part of the PC version's March 2024 update.

It's been 15 years since Guilherme "rdein" Martins first kicked the series off with the original Momodora. If you include the spiritual sequel. Minoria. there are six games in total, each worth the little time they ask of players. It'll be nice to have more options soon to traverse the final entry's ex??pertly-woven map.

Folks looking for another promising roguelite action game to sink some time into can now mark their calendars for this spring. Game Source Entertainment locked in an April 24 launch date for Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade, a stylish-looking actioner that's on the? way to PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Taiwanese indie developer 7Quark is behind the action-RPG, which unfurls its take on the story of the Nine-Tailed Fox in Edo era Japan. Also known as the "King of Demons," the beast's arrival upsets the previously-established peace between humans and demons. As one might ??expect, that serves as a nice excuse for some fast-paced hackin' and slashin'.

You can see some of that in action along with a look at the main characters in the? new trailer:

//www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bd8Rf0_V9g4

The three main characters each have notable Japanese voice talent behind them. Yoko Hikasa (Minami in Dr. STONE) voices the Demon Blade-wielding immortal ninja known as Shigure. Ayana Taketatsu (Leafa in Sword Art Online) voices Oni Emissary Sara, and Rikiya Koyama (Taiga Saejima in Yakuza/Like a Dragon) voices demon samurai and ??master?? archer Taketora.

Throughout the adventure, weapons can be upgraded, recipes can be discovered, and alliances can be forged with "kind-hearted demons." Uh huh, we've heard that one before. Nice try, demons

For those who want to check it out before it drops this April, a demo is currently available on Steam. It's billed as an "evolving demo," so more is on the way in the future. As of right now, Steam Next Fest is the next approaching milest?one. Look for the first half of Chapter One, new seasonal scenery, new enemies, and a new boss stage to be added to the sampler platter soon.

The Eggplant Puffs Disney Dreamlight Valley recipe helps you make a delicious three-star meal. It could potentially be a dish that one of the villagers like Simba or Jack Skellington could request at Chez Remy as?? well.

Eggplant Puffs Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredients

To create the tasty Eggplant Puffs for your friends in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll need the following three ingredients:

  • Eggs
  • Cheese
  • Eggplant

Where to buy Eggs and Cheese in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Screenshot by Destructoid

Honestly, this is one of the easiest dishes to make in the game. Both Eggs and Cheese can be purchased at Chez Remy after completing the rat's quests in the Ratatouille realm in the Castle. Cheese is 220 S?tar Coins, while Eggs are 180.

Eggplant seeds are available at Goofy's Stall in the Frosted Heights, which is admittedly quite difficult to reach if you don't have the Dreamlight. You can rack that number up by completing duties and finishing quests from characters along the way. You can also craft Dreamlight by finding Dream Shards in the ground.

Back on the topic, however; Eggplant seeds are 95 Star Coins, but i?f you're lucky (and you don't want to wait), the ingredient itself might be available for 462 Star Coins.

What is this meal worth?

Once you've gained all the ingredients, go to any cooking station like Chez Remy. Add the Eggs, Cheese, and Eggplant into the pot. You should have the Eggplant Puffs ready to go. They might be the flattest texture you can find in the game, but hey, they can be consumed for 1,941 Energy or sold for 991 Star Coins at Goofy's Stalls. You can also make Ratatouille with Eggplant and other ingredients.

  • Dazzle Beach
  • Forest of Valor

Before you venture out, make sure to bring a Disney friend who has?? the Mining specialty. Talk to them, and there should be a pickaxe symbol to the left of the "Let's Hang Out!" option. You'll want to do this as you have a chance to get the gem twice, saving you loads of time in the long run.

Next, head to either Dazzle Beach or the Forest of Valor and start striking the rocks with y??our Royal Pickaxe. It doesn't matter if the gems show or not; there is a chance they'll drop as a reward regardless. Once you've broken all of the rocks in one area, move on to the next. Keep alternating to?? let the rocks respawn.

What can you make with Aquamarine?

Once you've acq??uired enough Aquamarine gems, you can start to create decoration?s for the village. Ariel's Crafting Station, unfortunately, doesn't arrive until you reach Friendship Level 7 and unlock a particular quest.

To make a Blue Light High Beach To??rch that would fit in with Dazzle Beach's environment, you'll need the following:

  • 5 Fiber
  • 3 Sand
  • 5 Softwood
  • Aquamarine

You can create five pieces of fiber at the Crafting Station by using one piece of Seaweed. You can catch Seaweed by using the fishing rod outside the water ripples at Dazzle Beach. Use your shovel to pick up Sand at the beach. You can also get Sand by breaking the shells. Lastly, Softwood is found in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and the Glade of Trust un??derneath or near tre??es.

You should also try to find another gem, the Topaz, while you're around the original valley.

Marvel Rivals X-Men leaks hint at a mutant-themed Season

Image via Marvel Comics

Not all the leaked characters coming to Marvel Rivals are X-Men. It's been all but confirmed that The Thing and the Human Torch will debut before Season 1 closes in April, and earlier leaks confirmed we'll be getting Blade, Ultron, M.O.D.O.k. and Hit Monkey. Still, other evidence makes it clear as day that the X-Men will dominate Marvel Rivals' future.

The most significant nod comes from leaked map data naming the mutant s??ov??ereign nation Krakoa. For those not in the know, Krakoa is the mutant sovereign nation that defined the era of X-Men comics from 2019 to 2024. Krakoa, always at the heart of plots designed to either expand its influence or eradicat??????????????????????????e it, would be the perfect backdrop for an X-Men season.

The future of Marvel Rivals is still uncertain, but I, for one, plan to welcome our new mutant overlords. I still remember the painful years when Marvel's stance on the X-Men boiled down to "Mutants, what mutants? Oh, you mean the Inhumans?" Knowing that the Children of the Atom are on track to be the most represented superhero team in Marvel Rivals thrills my comic-eating heart.
