But although a few of them, such as Joele, Brall, and Shiv, will demand mastery if you want to unlock their full potential, others can be considered extremely beginner-friendly, even for those new to the genre. Here are the best characters for beginners in Supervive.

The Best Frontliner for Beginners in Supervive

If you are a newcomer to Supervive, the best Frontliner (and overall character) for you will be Felix, given his straightforward playstyle and ability to overcome mistakes through his double-dash and DoT effects. He can also cause mayhem by performing Heat Shield, which pulls enemies toward you and applies anti﷽-heal, all while dealing plenty of AoE DMG. When playing Felix, the playbook is simple: Get in and watch the world burn.

The Best Attackers for Beginners

The best picks for those looking to stack up eliminations from the gate, Shrike and Ghost are the most beginner-friendly attackers. The reason? Well, while Ghost feels like he came straight out of XCOM, Shrike’s ability to snipe targets out of existence through her Raptor’s Mark passive will guarantee your hits will more than make up for any eventual misses. Her dominance in 1v1 scenarios will also allow you to stand out, as most new players will be unable to avoid her shots consistently or be too afraid to enter her range.

The Best Initiator for Beginners

His high health pool, and ability to both restore HP by scoring eliminations/assists and stun enemies by performing Primal Slam make Kingpin the best Initiator for beginners in Supervive. The biggest draw of his kit, however, lies in his Abyssal Grasp skill, which sees him extend his arm and put a death certificate to any hunter caught within his grasp. Just keep in mind that, although great in team fights, Kingpin’s lack of speed and huge frame can make you an easy target if caught in the backfoot.

The Best Controller for Beginners

Although not as tanky as Hudson, I consider Celeste to be the best Controller for beginners in Supervive. By all means the most adaptable hunter within her class, she has both the game’s longest dash and the ability to consistently apply Slow while dealing decent damage with Cryo Spear. If that was not enough, her Frozen Barricade skill and Chilling Finale Ultimate are also great universal tools that excel when the subject is creating distance and setting the stage for what can be a team-wiping combo.

The Best Supporter for Beginners

An S-tier in most tier lists, and for good reason, Elluna’s ability to provide massive healing and most importantly, resurrect ally whisps by performing Divine Intervention (R) makes her the easiest supporter to pick up in Supervive, as none of the above will require precise timing or positioning. Her unique ability to carry whisps also makes her able to hoop in for the rescue in game-changing plays💎, no matter your mode of choice.

Now that you know which are the best characters for beginners, we also highly recommend that you check out our Supervive Tier List to see who —apart from Elluna— are the game’s current meta picks for each role.
