Best Strength Perks worth getting in KCD2
There are 13 Perks in total available from the Strength stat, with the first requiring Level 6 and the final perk Heracle requiring Level 18. While each of the perks can be useful based on exactly what you’re looking to accomplish, there are some perks that are overall more useful than others. We’ve ranked the 5 best Strength Perks that all players should go for in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
5. Heracles
Even though it’s the final Strength Perk in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Heracles is more of an overall quality-of-life perk compared to some of the more useful perks on this list. That being said, it gđźives an immense amount of QOL. Heracles increases your Charisma by 1 for every 5 levelđs of Strength you have. Charisma affects various skillchecks including trading and bartering, which makes it very useful overall. With Heracles, having 25 Strength would give you an additional 5 Charisma, which is huge as Charisma can be tougher to acquire.
4. Strong as a Bull
Available at Level 12, Strong as a Bull is a simple perk that increases your carrying capacity by 20 pounds. Carrying capacity is one of the more limiting stats in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, really restricting how mucࡴh you can effectively carry around without being over-encumbered. And,ę§ for comparison, 20 pounds is a huge increase, resulting in a nearly 15% or more increase in your total carrying capacity. There are similar perks like Pack Mule which increases it by 12 pounds and Hard-Working Lad which increases it by 8 pounds that should also be considered.
3. Train Hard, Fight Easy! and Train Hard, Fight Easy! II
Both of these two perks lower the required Strength you will need to wield certain weapons effectively. Even though you can equip any weapon without reaching certain stat thresholds, they will deal reduced damage if you are under that threshold and more damage if you are over it. As such, both of these perks will increase the damage you are able to do, and will improve damage scaling with all weapons. The first version of tđhis perk lowers Strength requirements by 2 and the đźsecond reduces it by another 5.
2. Grand Slam and Grand Slam II
The two Grand Slam Strength perks increase the blunt damage you deal with all melee weapons by 5%, for a combined total of 10%. While at a glance it may seem like this isn’t worth using if you use sharp weapons like a sword instead of blunt weapons like a mace, that’s not the case. Even though sharp weapons are more oriented to that type of damage, they still deal blunt damage as well, so will still benefit from these two Strength Perks.
1. Vanguard
Available at Level 12, Vanguard is an incredibly useful Strength Perk that make it so Shield Blocks cost you 30% less Stamina. Throughout Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, shield blocking is an incredibly useful defensive mechanic that you will be executing a lot during battles, but it takes a hefty amount of Stamina to do which can drain your Stamina and make you less effective in battle when overwhelmed. By reducing the Stamina loss by 30% with each block, you’re able to stay in the fight much longer without having to back away to replenish it.
