It’s a mighty fine weekend for PlayStation fighting game fans, as developer SNK has released a demo for its top-tier scrapper The King of Fighters XV on both PS4 & PS5 platforms. ,💎 the trial gives players a chance to check💮 out the 2022 team-based battler.
The demo allows users to engage in three-on-three battles in an offline capacity, opening up the fighters’ VS. mode, as well as its deep Training options. Players can take on the CPU or a local friend in exhibition bouts, utilizing a team of 15 characters pulled from KoF XV’s massive roster of sluggers. It should be noted that the demo is standalone, and will not carry over any data should you pull the trigger on a full purchase.

Released in February of last year, The King of Fighters XV is an excellent entry in SNK’s storied series, featuring a huge roster, incredibly deep and complex mechanics, and audio and visuals upgraded from its predecessor. This year will see SNK release several further characters to the title, including intolerable KoF ’98 boss Goenitz, fan-designed vigilante Najd, and the nightmare bundle of cuteness that is Svlvie Paula Paula.
The King of Fighters XV is available now on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox Serie♚s X.
