These are the Nioh 2 character contest winners

I’m going to spend entirely too long tuning my Nioh 2 character. That’s just the way it is. If you’d rather embark on the yokai-busting adventure sooner than later, you may want to pick a preset character.

Last year, Team Ninja held a contest in which Nioh 2 beta players could submit their custom-designed charac💜ter for a chance at having their creation featured in the final game. Now, the results☂ are in.

The studio e🐬nded up picking eight winning entries, all of which will be playable as in-game avatars.

One of the characters is based on Final Fantasy XIV director Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida. Yes, really.

I love that someone not only thought to do that, but Team Ninja also went ahead and approved it.
