Time Crisis 4: FPS done terribly?

Time Crisis 4 looks pretty and has enough tiny robotic spiders to make people forget all about Runaway, but that clip up there worries us. Did you notice the bits where the game apparently becomes an FPS, and the trailer paints the entire thing as a revolutionary leap on par with women’s suffrage or the Emancipation Proclamation?

Maybe it’s just me, but those sections lack any horizontal or vertical perspective shifting. It’s interesting that you can strafe left and right, but are we to believe you won’t be able to look up, down, left or right? Shoehorning FPS gameplay into a light gun game is an interesting tactic, but apparently the casualties include the ability to bend and pivot one’s virtual vertabrae. I’m hoping Namco Bandai notices this and acknowledges the shortcomings by allowing you to play as the first quadrapalegic super cop, but they’ll probably just twirl cliché handlebar moustaches and laugh maniacally.
