After much speculation about whether a follow-up to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 would hౠappen, a Singaporean agency🔴 may have just settled the debate—a successor is coming.
A new classification for the remake Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 was published by Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (), clearly listing it as a video game published by Activisio✃n with a 2025 release date. The rating applies to Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
The game is expected to be a remake and blend of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, released in 2001 and 2002 respectively.
The absence of the Nintendo Switch 2 in the listed platforms suggests a release in the first half of 2025, indicating Activision won’t be wai🔜ting for Nintendo’s nexജt console to launch the game.
Tony Hawk’s teaser hints at a March 4 reveal
This leak also aligns with Tony Hawk’s own teaser from February 24. On Twitter, he shared a photo of himself in front of a massive banner featuring the THPS logo, with the date 03.04.25 underneath𒀰 and the phrase “Loading new parks.” This strongly suggests a major announcement on March 4—whether it’s the official reveal, a gameplay trailer, or even a surprise release.
THPS 3+4 remake is an old dream of Tony Hawk
Back in 2020, Tony Hawk expressed his desire to develop THPS 3+4 following the success of the 1+2 remake. “This is just the start…with that baseline, we’re hopefully going to be able to help remaster other titles, Pro Skater 3 and 4 even, and start to work on a new direction,” he said.
However, in 2022, plans for THPS 3+4 were scrapped after the studio behind 1+2, Vicarious Visions, merge🔯d into Blizzard Entertainment.
A turning point came in September 2024, nearly a year after Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Tony Hawk stated he was w🐬orking on “something” with Activision again, later hinting it was related to the THPS series.
While THPS 3+4 hasn’t been officially confi൩rmed, it seems like only a matter of time before we get an 🦋official reveal—and if we’re really lucky, maybe even a surprise launch on March 4.
