I don’t know what I was expecting from Too Human , to be honest, but I know I was expecting something a little more than this. For a game that’s taken so long to develop and is surrounded by such lofty ideals (not to mention controversy), why does it look so … generic?
You know me, I like games where all you do is press a few buttons to make violence happen. However, I expected something far better from this game, and it certainly doesn’t look as good as Conan or Beowulf does. If I had to choose between either Beowulf or Too Human , based on trailers, I’d go for the former quite easily over Denis Dyack’s tempestuous baby.
As ever with trailers, one’s impressions cannot be fully realized without hands-on experience, but if the trailer’s job is to sell the game, this trailer doesn’t do it very well. As a concept, Too Human is certainly fantastic. As a game though, my interest has dropped thanks to this ไfootage.
I wonder what Denis will blame this one on.
