It’s not very often that I get to make a joke that works on a literal level, but Final Fantasy XIV has given🐭 me the opportunity to say “go and touch grass” by teaming up with Logos to make a full set of camping gear.
This bizarre and unexpected, though not entirely unwelcome collaboration wasꦍ announced at the very end of the 84th Live Letter on November 1, and it’s not the only strange choice for a collaboration that was r♒evealed, but more on that later.
Logos are a Japanese outdoor brand, but they do ship their products worldwide, meaning that the items included in this collaboration are available to all, for a price. Logos tents range in price from around $100 USD to around $3,000 USD, although the FFXIV-branded one is unlikely to reach those hefty sums. It lღooks to be a soloไ tent, perhaps capable of fitting two people, so around $100 USD is my best guesstimate.
Other things included in the collaboration seem to be a Cooler, a couple of different camping chair designs, a foldable table, a variety o♚f smaller camping utensils and tools, and a cart you can drag everything around in. I’m not saying it would make for the cheapest holiday, but at least you’d be campi🐟ng in style.
Pre-orders for the collection will begin on✤ November 15.
This wasn’t the only bizarre collaboration announced during the Live Letter. Final Fantasy XIV has also teamed up with Schwarzkopf to bring out a range of Eorzea-inspired hair dyes for European players. As someone who constantly fights the urge to dye my hair the next bright color, this is not helping my willpower💖 in the slightest.
Three colors were shown during the stream: deep red, pink, and green. I’ve had a lot of experience with Schwarzkopf Live hair colors, and the shades aren’t new additions. I’ve actually used all of them previously and can verify how good they are. However, the boxes do have characters from FFXIV on them, and all of them have had a slight redesign.
The hair dyes will be availa﷽ble i💖n supermarkets, drug stores, and online retailers after the following dates, depending on your location:
