Endless Dungeon has different statistics that are essential for determining a character’s abilities and performance. One specific statistic is called Wit, and this stat’s purpose honestly isn’t clear at a glance. Here’s an explanation.
What is Wit in Endless Dungeon?
The Wit stat in Endless Dungeon represents a character’s effectiveness and cleverness. To be more specific, it influences a character’s ability to repair equipment, such as turrets, and generate resources while operating said equipment. A higher Wit stat allows for faster and more efficient repairs, which will free up your characters to perform other tasks instead.
How to boost Turrets with Wit in Endless Dungeon
To boost a turret, simply perform a melee action near it. Boosting turrets will enhance their firepower and overall effectiveness by a rate directly proportional to the character’s Wit stat. More specifically, it will increase the fire rate and damage by 2% per each point of wit for the next 8 seconds.
However, there is a limit to the fire rate increase. After a certain threshold, Wit points will instead only increase the turret’s damage numbers. In other words, you can’t endlessly stack your Wit stat and expect more fire rate improvements.
How to increase the Wit Stat in Endless Dungeon
You’ll enhance a character’s Wit stat in Endless Dungeon by unlocking chips. Interact with the Gunsmith NPC in the Saloon lobby to access the character upgrade menu, choose a hero, and select a chip that upgrades the Wit stat using Cells. You can𝐆﷽ obtain Cells by completing stages or hero quests.
One notable chip that increases the Wit stat is the Sweeper’s Warning Label Chip. This chip adds 8 points to the character’s Wit stat, which can be pretty advantageous.
How to check Wit stat in Endless Dungeon
To check your stats in Endless Dungeon, navigate to the menu screen and locate the Glossary option. Within the glossary, find the Statistics section, where you will find the Wit stat𝓀 listed. Each hero in the game possesses different stats and buffs, resulting in varying Wit stats for each character.
