What is Squad Rage in Warzone Rebirth Island?

Squad Rage might be the underrated field upgrade you need for Rebirth wins.

With the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 3 comes a host of new content. One of the things that slipped under the radar of many players is the new Squad Rage field upgrade. Partially because no one has really talked about it. But also because it’s exclusively available on one map and nowhere else in the game.

What is the Squad Rage field upgrade?

Squad Rage is the newest field upgrade to Call of Duty: Warzone. Unfortunately, it’s only available on a single map, Rebirth Island. You can’t find it anywhere on Urzikstan or the other Resurgence maps. If the item looks and sounds similar to another field upgrade, Battle Rage, it’s because it is.

This new enhanced version of Battle Rage places a circle on the map around you when you use it. As a result, you and your squad members are now safe from the gas and gas grenade effe♊cts until it expires. Make sure to stay inside the circle on your map, as stepping outside will negate the effects and the𓄧 gas will drain your health.

Is Squad Rage different from Battle Rage?

The effects of Squad Rage are completely different from the similarly-named field upgrade, Battle Rage. Although the two look the same, Battle Rage does not protect the user from the gas and doesn’t do anything for the user’s squadmates. Both apply a similar affect to your screen while active, as seen above.

Using Battle Rage gives you faster health regeneration, resistance to tactical effects like stuns and flashbangs, and a constant tactical sprint refresh. Although it only lasts a few seconds, you’ll be pretty amped up for a fight when you use this field upgrade.
