Where to find The Voice’s memory in Avowed (Call of the Past side quest)

After you’ve spoken to ‘The Voice’ a few times in Avowed, it’ll tell you that it believes it has lost a fragment of its memory somewhere in Dawnshore. The area on your map is pretty vague, though, so trying to track down exactly where to go can be a bit of a pain. Thankfully for you, I’ve tracked it down and grabbed some handy screenshots to help guide you right to The Voice’s memory location in Avowed.

To find this Ancient Memory, you’re going to want to fast travel to ‘The Rise Party Camp’ just to the norteast of Paradis Hightown on your map, and head directly east from here.

As you do, you’ll see a large rocky outcrop in front of you. Keep walking towards this, but don’t worry about trying to climb your way to the top of this mountainous area. Head through the little tunnel where the tree trunk has intertwined with the rock formation and you’ll discover a place called ‘Watcher’s Mirror.’

Head across the shallow water right ahead of you and up the steps until you reach a dead end. Here, at the very end, you’ll find a glowing, hovering object right in front of you. This is the ‘Ancient Memory’ that The Voice felt it had lost in Dawnshore. I’ve marked the exact location on the map screenshot below.

Interact with The Voice’s memory in Avowed and you’ll learn some more about your character’s backstory, where you’ll also get to fill in some blanks yourself.

After this bit of backstory has played out, turn around and you’ll find a small pillar rising out of the shallow water and the ‘Drawn in Winter’ unique one-handed axe can be found sat on top of it.

Fortunately for us, a gang of skeletons will rise from the ground, giving you an opportunity to test your new weapon out. Take care of these, loot their corpses for all they’re worth, and you can be on your way to the next adventure calling your name in the Living Lands of Avowed.

Drawn in Winter Stats & Enchantments

Drawn in Winter has an Enchant called Rising Chill which causes your Power Attacks to deal moderate Frost Accumulation to nearby enemies. Another Enchant, Freezing Lash, empowers your hits with a +10% Frost Damage damage. I’ve listed all of its stats below:

• Physical Damage: 36
• Stun: 14
• Stamina Cost: 15
• Critical Hit Chance: 6%
