The Control Nexus is the center of attention when it comes to progression in Arknights: Endfield, second only to your Admin Level. This crucial structure serves as the heart of your OMV Dijiang operations and understanding how to upgrade it will give your account a significant boost, so let’s break down how you go about it.
While upgrading the Control Nexus is rather simple, it does require some explanation thanks to what you need to obtain to attempt the process first. Upgrading the Control Nexus involves gathering four types of materials, most of which can be a bit tricky to find if you don’t know where to look. They are the following:
Here’s how you can obtain each one:
The amount of Aerospace Materials and T-Credits required to upgrade your Control Nexus depends entirely on the level you’re upgrading it from and to, though the singular Algorithm Expansion Chip remains a constant requirement regardless of level. As you rise through the ranks, the materials amounts and T-Credit costs will increase considerably.
Once you’ve gathered the required materials, it’s time to upgrade the Control Nexus. Open your map and click on the OMV Dijiang in the right-hand corner of your screen. This will teleport you to the ship, which you’ll need to be on for the process.
Now, head to the Bridge, which is the leftmost portion of the ship. There you will find a mass of swirling metal, which should be familiar to you from the beginning of the game. This mass is the Control Nexus, and you’ll need to Interact with it to begin the upgrade. Click on the Upgrade option when you see the prompt for it.
If all the required materials are either in your inventory or Depot, you’ll be able to confirm the upgrade and complete the process. The game will automatically detect whether the necessary items are present, so you won’t have to worry about manually transferring them. Once confirmed, the upgrade begins immediately, and you’ll notice the updated status reflected on the Control Nexus interface. Keep in mind that higher-level upgrades will take more resources to complete. Double-check your material pool before initiating the process to avoid interruptions or wasted time going back and fourth to your base or any of the surrounding regions.
While the Control Nexus doesn’t directly do anything on its own, its upgrades unlock the ability to enhance other key facilities aboard the OMV Dijiang. These facilities include the Growth Chamber and Manufacturing Cabins, which are both critical for producing character progression materials and resources, allowing you to upgrade your characters more quickly.
Investing in the Control Nexus early will save you a lot of wasted time in the long run. Since the crafting/growing processes aboard the OMV Dijiang are time-intensive, prioritizing this upgrade ensures you’re always progressing optimally. If you have the necessary materials ready, don’t delay it. Upgrade your Control Nexus as soon as possible to keep ahead of the progression curve.

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

97
26391,289,232,21956,19112,107,19138
22869,22872,24255
26205
23118
["post-1000998","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pc","tag-arknights-endfield","tag-gacha","tag-guides","tag-hide-from-homepage","tag-pc","tag-role-playing-games","tag-rpg","article_type-seo

How to Level Up the Control Nexus in Arknights: Endfield
