This weekend is going to be jam-packed with information on upcoming games. With the Video Game Awards (VGAs) happening tomorrow and Sony’s PlayStation Experience (PSX) taking up two days (December 3-4), I’m sure a lot of people were expecting to see new footage of Sony’s big-budget games for next year. Sadly, that won’t be happening.

Both God of War and Insomniac’s Spider-Man are going to be absent from either presentation this weekend. While that is a bummer, I suppose it makes sense. If you have nothing more to show off, it is better to stay silent than to make fake footage. We don’t need another Colonial Marines on our hands.
As for what we do know about the VGAs, Nintendo is going to be showing off some new footage of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Hideo Kojima will also be holding a panel at PSX for Death Stranding and recent Gears of War inductees Run the Jewels will be performing. Sounds like fun for everyone.
