I haven’t yet taken the time to download the Pokémon Pass on my phone, but there’s a new reason to do so: players have a chance to snag a Shiny Solgaleo and/or a Shiny Lunala using the free app from October 21 through November 10. Will they see the light of day in Sword and Shield? Good question!
In the United States, you’ll have to head to your local GameStop to receive codes for these garish shinies. Just make sure you have the Pokemon Pass installed on iOS or Android before you head out. Using the code, you can redeem your Mystery Gift inside the applicable 3DS Pokémon game.
Pokémon Sun and Ultra Sun players can score a level 60 Shiny Lunala (with the moves Moongeist Beam, Psyshock, Moonblast, and Moonlight). Meanwhile, Pokémon Moon and Ultra Moon players can claim a Shiny Solgaleo (with the moves Sunsteel Strike, Zen Headbutt, Noble Roar, and Morning Sun).
I feel like Lunala looks like a Castlevania boss and Solgaleo is straight out of Power Rangers.

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
398,1,104
103,106,900,15374,15373
