If you already have them, you’ll get a reward<\/h2>
You’d be excused for not realizing that\u00a0Gears 5<\/em> has a map builder, and just as some of us are finding out about its existence, the feature is going away. On Twitter today<\/a>, the Gears of War<\/em> developers announced plans to remove the map builder \u2014 but with a fun twist. The two related Gears 5<\/em> map achievements will be unlocked automatically for all players.<\/p>
These achievements are related to the Escape mode<\/a>, specifically:<\/p>

I Made It All by Myself<\/a> (10) \u2014 Create and publish an Escape Hive.<\/li>
Homegrown Give<\/a> (10) \u2014 Complete a Featured community build Escape Hive.<\/li> <\/ul>
According to The Coalition, if you already got the Escape Hive achievements before the map builder’s departure, you’ll get an “exclusive banner” and 10,000 coins, respectively.<\/p>

PSA: We\u2019re removing #Gears5<\/a> Map Builder and unlocking its achievements for all players as the team focus on future projects.<\/p>
