Adapting a Tolkien work is always difficult given that the action-based motifs of most video games weren’t glorified in the source material \u2014 but playing as a villain (a conflicted one at that) could allow the development team to do some cool things with Gollum and the narrative.<\/p> That said, it’ll be tough to balance the potential “stealth gameplay”<\/a> (which is always hard to get right in the best of circumstances) and the aforementioned narrative elements; hopefully they’re up to the task.
