According to murmurs circulating the information superhighway this week, Activision might be considering eschewing its annual Call of Duty<\/em> release in 2023, and is instead looking into the potential of instead releasing a DLC expansion for this<\/em> year’s entry, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.<\/em><\/a><\/p> The speculative news comes from regular Call of Duty<\/em> leaker TheGhostofHope, who posted the proposal on their Twitter account<\/a> this past weekend. According to TheGhost, Activision will instead use 2023 to boost the content of 2021’s release, adding new campaign missions, and a 20th anniversary “Best of” map pack, featuring revamped multiplayer maps from the billion-dollar shooter’s storied history.<\/p>
