{"id":359801,"date":"2023-01-26T14:00:48","date_gmt":"2023-01-26T20:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/?p=359801"},"modified":"2023-01-26T08:40:18","modified_gmt":"2023-01-26T14:40:18","slug":"new-dead-by-daylight-skins-resident-evil-jill-ada-birkin-lunar-new-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/new-dead-by-daylight-skins-resident-evil-jill-ada-birkin-lunar-new-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Dead by Daylight skins launched for Resident Evil stars Jill, Ada, and William Birkin"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 id=\"still-waiting-on-that-annette-comeback\">Still waiting on that Annette comeback&#8230;<\/h2> <p>Stalk &#8216;n&#8217; slasher <em>Dead by Daylight<\/em> is getting set to celebrate the suitably spooky Lunar New Year, and will do so via <a href=\"https:\/\/deadbydaylight.com\/news\/store-collection-release-lnybeyond\/?utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=store-lnybeyond&amp;utm_content=collection\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a new limited-time event<\/a>, bringing with it new in-game decorations, a slew of limited cosmetic items, and brand new skins for its <a href=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/dead-by-daylight-resident-evil-crossover-horror-capcom-project-w\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Resident Evil<\/em> heroes<\/a> Jill Valentine and Ada Wong.<\/p> <p>The <em>Resident Evil x LNY<\/em> collection will give players the opportunity to bedeck Jill Valentine in her battlesuit, perhaps best remembered for its appearances in the <em>Resident Evil Revelations<\/em> series, while Ada Wong takes a trip back in time for her iconic split-legged cocktail dress and heels combo, which the sultry spy wore for her debut appearance in 1998&#8217;s <em>Resident Evil 2<\/em>, and is easily the most iconic of her looks to date.<\/p> <p><\/iframe><\/p> <p>Speaking of which, in addition to these new outfits, a new skin for killer &#8220;The Blight&#8221; will see it transform into the warped and tragic visage of Dr. William Birkin, the Umbrella scientist responsible for the creation of the devastating G-Virus, who ultimately succumbs to its own horrifying mutations. While most of the Lunar New Year cosmetics are time-limited, these three skins are permanent additions to the <em>Dead by Daylight<\/em> catalog.<\/p> <p>Aside from the <em>Resident Evil<\/em> content,<em> Dead by Daylight<\/em> will also be celebrating the Lunar New Year with the new <em>Moonlight Burrow<\/em> event. This will see the realm decorated in creepy, rabbit-themed iconography, while affording players boosted Bloodpoints and themed rewards. Be sure to keep an eye out for the returning Red Envelopes, which will feature a variety of rare prizes and in-game bonuses.
