A new wrestling game enters the ring very soon<\/h2>

The All Elite Wrestling fighting game AEW: Fight Forever\u00a0<\/em>has set a date for its debut in the ring. The new wrestling competitor will arrive on June 29, 2023.<\/p>

In a video<\/a> today featuring AEW wrestler and video game fan<\/a> Kenny Omega, the release date in June is locked in for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. THQ Nordic is partnering with All Elite Wrestling for publishing, while former WWE 2K<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>developer Yuke’s is developing the new title.<\/p>

<\/iframe><\/p>

The release and readiness of\u00a0AEW: Fight Forever\u00a0<\/em>has been up in the air for some time. Since it was first revealed<\/a>, the project has gone through some bumps<\/a>. We’ve seen some hints of it and its minigames<\/a> over the years, but now it looks to be arriving, and pretty soon at that.<\/p>

As for features,\u00a0AEW: Fight Forever<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>is boasting a fair number of modes, as well as the customization options you usually like to see in a wrestling game. Attire, appearance, move sets, entrances, teams, and arenas are all part of the customization. Add in the\u00a0AEW\u00a0<\/em>roster and online play, and it’s looking like it could put up some competiton.<\/p>

A new fighter enters the ring<\/h2>

Competition is what wrestling fans are hoping for, I think. The\u00a0WWE 2K\u00a0<\/em>series has had some serious ups-and-downs lately, and even when it’s somewhat stabilized out<\/a>, I still see some reminiscing about the old days of\u00a0No Mercy<\/em>.<\/p>

There seems to be a hope for rekindling some of that older-school arcade magic here, and for those who want that, I hope they get it. Either way, I’m interested to see how a new wrestling entry is received, and if it can shake up the wrestling genre.<\/p>

AEW: Fight Forever\u00a0<\/em>heads to PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on June 29,
