As a consequence of this, we&#8217;ve been able to enjoy a <em>Horizon Zero Dawn<\/em> port which was well-received. The next entry in the franchise, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/reviews\/review-horizon-forbidden-west-ps5-version\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Horizon Forbidden West<\/a><\/em>, is also making its way to PC in the form of a Complete Edition which will land on PS5 first. <\/p>    <figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div   id="gqq8s83tkl"    class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <\/iframe> <\/div><\/figure>    <p><em>Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition<\/em> features the main game along with the DLC, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/reviews\/review-horizon-forbidden-west-burning-shores\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Burning Shores<\/a><\/em>, which has Aloy traveling to Los Angeles and facing off against a gargantuan Metal Devil. The base game and the DLC are some of the best that Sony&#8217;s first-party studios have to offer and are must-play titles for anyone into open-world games. <\/p>    <p>Guerrilla Games is porting the upcoming game in partnership with Nixxes, which Sony acquired in 2021. This is a good sign, as past ports Nixxes has been involved with, including <em><a href=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/ratchet-clank-rift-apart-pc-specs-revealed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ratchet &amp; Clank: Rift Apart<\/a><\/em>, have been satisfactory. <\/p>    <figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/aloy-using-computer-horizon-forbidden-west-1.jpg?w=640&#038;resize=640%2C360\" alt=\"Aloy using computer in Horiozn Forbidden West.\" class=\"wp-image-410059\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/aloy-using-computer-horizon-forbidden-west-1.jpg?w=1200 1200w, https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/aloy-using-computer-horizon-forbidden-west-1.jpg?w=300 300w, https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/aloy-using-computer-horizon-forbidden-west-1.jpg?w=768 768w, https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/aloy-using-computer-horizon-forbidden-west-1.jpg?w=1024 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Screenshot by Destructoid.<\/figcaption><\/figure>    <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-you-get-in-horizon-forbidden-west-complete-edition\">What you get in Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition<\/h2>    <p>In addition to the base game and the DLC, the Complete Edition features the following, which you&#8217;ll have already if you bought the Special Edition or better of the base game: <\/p>    <ul> <li>Digital soundtrack <\/li>    <li>Digital art book <\/li>    <li>Extras in Photo Mode (special pose and face paint)<\/li> <\/ul>    <p>You&#8217;ll also unlock the following in-game items via story progression:<\/p>    <ul> <li>Carja Behemoth Elite outfit <\/li>    <li>Carja Behemoth Short Bow<\/li>    <li>Nora Thunder Elite outfit<\/li>    <li>Nora Thunder Sling<\/li>    <li>Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike piece<\/li>    <li>Resources pack<\/li> <\/ul>    <p>The only thing that should catch the attention of anyone who already has the game is the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Horizon-Zero-Dawn-Sunhawk-1\/dp\/1785861263\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Horizon Zero Dawn Vol. 1: The Sunhawk<\/a><\/em> digital comic book which you can purchase separately from Amazon. <\/p>    <p>There are good and bad aspects of the Complete Edition as it currently stands. The port is good news if <em>Horizon Zero Dawn<\/em>&#8216;s port is anything to go by. On PC, players will be able to crank visuals and performance further than ever, which could give us our best glimpse yet of <em>Horizon<\/em>&#8216;s world. It&#8217;s also priced at $59.99 USD which is cheaper than the base game&#8217;s launch price on PS5. <\/p>    <p>The potential downside comes from the fact that the Complete Edition is seemingly digital-only, even for the PS5 version. Although <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.playstation.com\/2023\/09\/27\/horizon-forbidden-west-complete-edition-is-coming-to-ps5-and-pc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sony&#8217;s announcement blog post<\/a> doesn&#8217;t confirm it, things appear to lean in that direction, as all the listed bonuses are digital (the Special Edition at launch had a physical artbook). <\/p>    <p>Furthermore, the reveal trailer doesn&#8217;t depict any physical copies, which was the case with <em>Horizon Zero Dawn&#8217;s Complete Edition<\/em>. Hopefully, we&#8217;ll find out more about a physical version soon. <\/p>    <p><em>Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition<\/em> launches on October 6 on PS5.
