Well, not quite, as developer CD Projekt Red is now turning its attention to the follow-up, with the game&#8217;s narrative director eager to get started.<\/p>    <p>According to a recent Twitter post from CDPR&#8217;s own Igor Sarzy\u0144ski, <em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> was &#8220;just a warm-up,&#8221; and the studio is now preparing to &#8220;officially kick-start our <em>Orion<\/em> journey.&#8221; <em>Orion<\/em> is the working title for the <em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> sequel.<\/p>    <figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div   id="gqq8s83tkl"    class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">First day in the Boston office! So good to meet old friends and officially kickstart our Orion journey. Sarzy\u0144ski has said they&#8217;re &#8220;excited for this project,&#8221; while one person (who weirdly dubs themselves Abraham Lincoln on Twitter) asks whether they&#8217;ve been practicing their Boston access. Sarzy\u0144ski replies: &#8220;I&#8217;m trying!&#8221;<\/p>    <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-imagine-cyberpunk-and-good-will-hunting-in-one\">Imagine <em>Cyberpunk<\/em> and <em>Good Will Hunting<\/em> in one<\/h2>    <p>Towards the end of last year, CD Projekt Red unleashed <a href=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/cyberpunk-2077-version-2-1-is-the-last-big-update-for-reals\/\">one last big update for <em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em><\/a>. For real, this time. The developer is now seemingly leaping into 2024 with hopes for the future.<\/p>    <p>We don&#8217;t really know anything about the upcoming game, but it&#8217;s fair to say the studio will have learned some much-needed lessons from when the current game dropped like a hot mess back at the tail end of 2020.<\/p>    <p>Things have certainly improved since then \u2013 to the point where it was one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/cyberpunk-2077-version-2-1-is-the-last-big-update-for-reals\/\">top-grossing Steam releases of 2023<\/a> \u2013 but it&#8217;s a memory that burns deep for some.
