Most Smite 2 skins will not transfer from Smite 1<\/h2>

You may need some of Cupid’s love or a nice warm hug from Agni because most of your Smite 1 <\/em>skins won’t transfer as Smite 2 <\/em>skins. <\/p>

“Smite 2<\/em> is a multi-generational leap from Smite 1<\/em>, from Unreal Engine 3 to Unreal Engine 5<\/a>,” explains the official Q&A<\/a>. “That means we have to completely rework or recreate every piece of content for it to function in Smite 2.<\/em>“<\/p>

Hi-Rez Studios says that it would take “about 246 person-years of work” to port over 1,600 skins from the original game. And that excludes the Mastery skins too. “We couldn\u2019t both do that, and make Smite 2<\/em> as amazing as we knew it could be if we focused on starting anew,” said Hi-Rez Studios.<\/p>
