The original show ended in 2008, and yet, here we are in 2024, seeing much of the Airbender cast make their way to <em>Fortnite<\/em>. Starting tomorrow, April 9, Katara, Toph, and Zuko will be available in the game&#8217;s shop.<\/p>    <figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div   id="gqq8s83tkl"    class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Yip yip! Get ready, Avatar: The Last Airbender is coming to Fortnite.<br><br>Katara, Zuko, and Toph land in the Shop tomorrow. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PlP1PWs7Bl\">pic.twitter.com\/PlP1PWs7Bl<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Fortnite (@FortniteGame) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FortniteGame\/status\/1777365958522216502?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 8, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The current Battle Pass features Korra from the show&#8217;s sequel series, <em>The Legend of Korra<\/em>. As players began unlocking the sequel&#8217;s star, keen-eyed players individuals noticed an iceberg appearing in the northeastern corner of the map. Inside was a frozen orb containing Aang and his faithful Sky Bison, Appa. It was a great throwback to the original series, with Korra freeing him from his frozen Fortnite tomb in the animation above.  <br><br>However, if Katara, Zuko, and Toph are in the shop, how do we get the air-bending Avatar?<\/figcaption><\/figure>    <p>According to another tweet by the <em>Fortnite<\/em> team, that may be event dependent.  Another Fortnite event, Avatar: Element, begins on April 12. This will probably be in the form of a mini-pass, like Shredder was in the recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event. Also, where that event featured the classic weapons of the TMNT, I&#8217;m betting on elemental-based abilities available for pick-up.<\/p>    <p>As a huge fan of the series, I&#8217;m excited to see all of these <em>Avatar<\/em> events in <em>Fortnite<\/em>, and I&#8217;ve grown quite find of Korra&#8217;s water-bending powers in the battle royale. While I&#8217;m eager to get my hands on the rest of the announced cast, I&#8217;ve gotta ask: Epic  \u2014 where&#8217;s my boy, Sokka,
