Sabotage Studio has set the free <em>Dawn of Equinox <\/em>update for a November 12, 2024 launch, introducing local co-op and more on all platforms.<\/p>    <p>Sabotage detailed the hefty update in a <a href=\"https:\/\/sabotagestudio.com\/press-release\/sabotage-studio-announces-free-sea-of-stars-update-dawn-of-equinox-bringing-top-fan-requested-additions-to-pc-and-consoles-gains-november-release-date\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">press release<\/a>, which calls this the studio&#8217;s &#8220;fully realized vision&#8221; for the <a href=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/reviews\/review-sea-of-stars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">acclaimed RPG<\/a>. The local co-op, for starters, lets up to three players tackle the adventure in its entirety, mastering timed hits in a co-op environment along the way.\u00a0<\/p>    <p>Combat has been refined significantly along with this addition. Combo Points are now retained after battles, there have been balance updates, and Mystery Locks introduce new ways to break enemy spells. There&#8217;s also a brand new cinematic during a pivotal moment for some extra impact.&nbsp;<\/p>    <p>Need help finding some of those pesky collectibles and hidden challenges? There&#8217;s an improved Parrot Relic for that. Finally, a new Speedrunner Mode Relic triggers features that make it easier to keep track of your personal quest to set a world record in <em>Sea of Stars<\/em>, or at least best your own time.&nbsp;<\/p>    <p>Beyond all that, <a href=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/sea-of-stars-to-get-free-throes-of-the-watchmaker-dlc-next-spring\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the free <em>Throes of the Watchmaker <\/em>DLC<\/a> is due out in spring 2025.
