target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enchant Relics<\/a> before you enter The Depths<\/strong>. That&#8217;s because the <strong>key <\/strong>that opens the door to The Depths is a <strong>one-use item<\/strong>, and the <strong>door remains open on the server for you until you log out<\/strong>. Here is how to do it most efficiently:<\/p>    <ol> <li>If you don&#8217;t have any Enchant Relics, go to <strong>Merlin <\/strong>(-930, 225, -990) on <strong>Sunstone Island<\/strong> and buy several for <strong>C$11,000 <\/strong>apiece (get <strong>at least 2<\/strong>).<\/li>    <li>Log into a server and check if it has the <strong>Mutation Surge event<\/strong> going on (<strong>it affects appraisal <\/strong>and allows you to get the relics quicker). <ul> <li>If there is <strong>no Mutation Surge<\/strong>, <strong>leave the server<\/strong> and <strong>rejoin<\/strong> the game.<\/li>    <li>If it&#8217;s currently <strong>night<\/strong>, you can <strong>pop a Sundial Totem<\/strong> and check if the Mutation Surge starts that day.<\/li> <\/ul> <\/li>    <li>Go to the Whirlpools<\/strong> that spawn randomly around the map. You&#8217;ll recognize them by the <strong>vertical pillar of light<\/strong> coming out of them.<\/p>    <p>Then, you&#8217;ll need to <strong>complete the Vertigo bestiary<\/strong>, including <strong>Isonade<\/strong>, which you can catch from the <strong>Strange Whirlpool <\/strong>outside of the Vertigo. Also, you&#8217;ll need a <strong>Key to The Depths<\/strong>, which you can fish out randomly <strong>in Vertigo<\/strong> or from the<strong> Strange Whirlpool<\/strong>.<\/p>    <p>Once you&#8217;ve done all that, climb up to the <strong>red area within Vertigo<\/strong> and talk with the <strong>NPC to the right of the door<\/strong> to open it. As of update 1.0.8, the <strong>door will remain open forever<\/strong> after you open it for the first time. How to Get the Hexed and Abyssal Enchant Relics Screenshot by Destructoid First off, it's best you get the Hexed and Abyssal Enchant Relics before you enter The Depths. That's because the key that opens the door to The Depths is a one-use item, and the door remains open on the server for you until you log out. Here is how to do it most efficiently: If you don't have any Enchant Relics, go to Merlin (-930, 225, -990) on Sunstone Island and buy several for C$11,000 apiece (get at least 2). Log into a server and check if it has the Mutation Surge event going on (it affects appraisal and allows you to get the relics quicker). If there is no Mutation Surge, leave the server and rejoin the game. If it's currently night, you can pop a Sundial Totem and check if the Mutation Surge starts that day. Go to the Moosewood Appraiser (450, 150, 210) and start appraising the Enchant Relics. Keep appraising relics until you have both a Hexed Enchant Relic and an Abyssal Enchant Relic in your inventory. How to Enter The Depths Area in Fisch Screenshot by Destructoid To enter The Depths area in Fisch, you'll first have to reach Vertigo, which you can do by jumping in one of the Strange Whirlpools that spawn randomly around the map. You'll recognize them by the vertical pillar of light coming out of them. Then, you'll need to complete the Vertigo bestiary, including Isonade, which you can catch from the Strange Whirlpool outside of the Vertigo. Also, you'll need a Key to The Depths, which you can fish out randomly in Vertigo or from the Strange Whirlpool. Once you've done all that, climb up to the red area within Vertigo and talk with the NPC to the right of the door to open it. As of update 1.0.8, the door will remain open forever after you open it for the first time. So, you can sell all the extra keys you catch. Rod of Depths Enchant Relic Altar Locations Hexed Enchant Relic Altar Location Screenshot by Destructoid After you open the door and finish the obby, you'll be in The Depths. Go to the middle, where the merchant is, and turn right. There, you'll find a huge statue on the right and a waterfall on the left. Enter the waterfall, swim upwards, and jump left to reach the first altar. Place the Hexed Enchant Relic on the red altar and then go back to the statue.
