The upcoming patch, if implemented right, could be absolutely huge. In fact, it could completely change how the general gameplay feels, and eradicate many complaints the community has had so far.<\/p>    <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-all-major-changes-coming-to-ea-fc-25-as-part-of-title-update-8\">All major changes coming to EA FC 25 as part of Title Update 8<\/h2><\/iframe>    <p>If you&#8217;ve been frustrated with your speed demons feeling like a tortoise, Title Update 8 could be an absolute blessing. If you see the video mentioned here, the defender fails to catch up to the the attacker due to the difference in pace. Of course, you&#8217;ll want to use attackers with extremely high pace stat in order to enjoy this difference. <\/p>    <figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div   id="gqq8s83tkl"    class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <\/iframe> <\/div><\/figure>    <p>Another huge area of concern has been how bad the offensive AI has been. We can certainly expect better results after the upcoming patch. <\/p>    <ul> <li>Improved AI teammate attacking run quality when trying to beat the offside line. <ul> <li>AI teammates can now better hold their runs when near the line and get back onside more quickly.<\/li> <\/ul> <\/li>    <li>Increased intelligence of attacking and supporting runs made by AI teammates.<\/li>    <li>Improved effectiveness of Inside and Advance Forwards. <ul> <li>They can move farther up the pitch.<\/li>    <li>They can better evaluate when to run into space or occupy a position.<\/li> <\/ul> <\/li>    <li>Offensive players can now operate in attacking spaces near other attackers instead of stopping their runs.<\/li>    <li>Players are now able to provide quicker support when they are familiar with their Role.<\/li> <\/ul>    <p>Another area getting sorted after the update will be the issue of Tacklebacks. Successful tackles were frequently getting punished with your opponents stealing the ball immediately. After the update, your defenders will take far more improved touches once they&#8217;ve successfully landed a tackle. <\/p>    <ul> <li>Defenders with the Anticipate PlayStyle are now more likely to tackle the ball towards a teammate with more space if stopping the ball in place would be disadvantageous.<\/li>    <li>Improved the quality of touches defenders can make on tackles.<\/li>    <li>In some cases, the ball carrier could have unintentionally stumbled forward when being tackled, resulting in incorrectly winning the ball back.&nbsp;<\/li>    <li>In some cases, the defender could have stumbled when running towards the ball after a successful tackle rather than gaining possession.<\/li> <\/ul>    <p>It&#8217;s not just the defense that&#8217;s getting a major overhaul. Your goalkeepers will also concede less goals from the near post. <\/p>    <p>Ground passes are also set to receive a overhaul, with an all round boost. <\/p>    <ul> <li>Slightly increased speed of normal Ground Passes.<\/li>    <li>Slightly increased accuracy of short Ground Passes to open players.<\/li>    <li>Significantly increased effectiveness of Semi Assisted Through Passes.&nbsp;<\/li>    <li>Significantly reduced effectiveness of first-time Lofted Through Passes.<\/li>    <li>Significantly increased effectiveness of Semi Assisted Through Passes.<\/li>    <li>Moderately reduced accuracy of headed passes in contested situations.&nbsp;<\/li>    <li>Low powered Ground Passes were sometimes being delivered to farther players than intended.<\/li>    <li>Medium powered passes sometimes focused too much on the player\u2019s aim input instead of the amount of power generated.<\/li>    <li>Addressed some instances where first time passes were less responsive than intended when the input was performed late.<\/li>    <li>Sometimes, free kick passes were not hit towards the intended receiver if the receiver was moving too quickly.<\/li> <\/ul>    <p>Once the new update goes live, players will be able to shoot more accurately from inside the box. Additionally, finesse shot isn&#8217;t getting a nerf. Instead, it will be boosted even for cards with high shooting stats. <\/p>    <ul> <li>Increased accuracy and shot speed from inside the box for regular and Finesse shots.<\/li>    <li>Slightly increased accuracy of low difficulty regular and Finesse shots in the box.<\/li>    <li>Slightly increased the impact of Attributes on the accuracy of Finesse shots taken by players without the Finesse Shot or Finesse Shot+ PlayStyles.<\/li>    <li>Addressed some instances where first time shots were less responsive than intended when the input was performed late.<\/li> <\/ul>    <p>Along with the offensive AI, the defensive AI will perform far less automated actions. <\/p>    <ul> <li>In Competitive Football Ultimate Team and Online Seasons ruleset matches, AI defenders will mark dribblers less tightly and will be less likely to cover shooting lanes near the edge of the box.<\/li>    <li>Further decreased how often AI players are able to make successful interceptions.<\/li>    <li>Defenders will focus more on man marking when defending counter attacks starting from corners. <ul> <li>The intent of this change is to provide more effective defensive positioning against counter attacks originating from corners.<\/li> <\/ul> <\/li>    <li>RM\/LM players with the Winger Balanced Role can drop deeper when defending.<\/li>    <li>Falsebacks could stay central for too long when the team lost possession. <ul> <li>They will now immediately look to return to their LB\/RB positions.&nbsp;<\/li> <\/ul> <\/li> <\/ul>    <p>For the time being, <em>EA FC 25<\/em> players will have to wait till the new patch goes live. Slightly increased the impact of Attributes on the accuracy of Finesse shots taken by players without the Finesse Shot or Finesse Shot+ PlayStyles.
