{"id":999089,"date":"2025-01-21T13:21:55","date_gmt":"2025-01-21T19:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/?p=999089"},"modified":"2025-01-21T13:22:02","modified_gmt":"2025-01-21T19:22:02","slug":"elon-musk-admits-he-uses-people-to-boost-his-account-is-not-the-best-diablo-4-nor-poe-2-player-in-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/elon-musk-admits-he-uses-people-to-boost-his-account-is-not-the-best-diablo-4-nor-poe-2-player-in-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Elon Musk admits he uses people to boost his account, is not the best Diablo 4 nor POE 2 player in the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a twist that really shouldn&#8217;t shock you \u2014 even if it somehow did \u2014 Musk was never a good <em>POE 2 <\/em>and<em> Diablo 4<\/em> player.<\/p>    <p>Turns out the man known only for being very rich and annoying on the Internet was paying off someone to play <em>POE2 <\/em>and <em>Diablo 4<\/em> and let Musk have the credit so he could be more annoying on the Internet.<\/p>    <p>If you don&#8217;t know exactly which instance of Musk being annoying on the Internet I&#8217;m talking about, let me give you a refresher. A couple of months ago, a very tiny but disproportionately vocal part of the Internet began raving about very busy billionaire Elon Musk being the top-ranked <em>Diablo 4<\/em> player in the world. Then, in yet more proof that this truly was a Renaissance Man 2.0, Musk revealed he was also one of the best <em>Path Of Exile 2<\/em> players in the world via streaming the game as a ridiculously high-ranked character.<\/p><\/iframe>    <p>That proved an enormous mistake, as expert players \u2014 and people with just the basic amount of knowledge of the game, really \u2014 immediately noticed Musk lacked even the most basic amount of understanding of the game. For many days, players have been accusing Musk of account boosting, but all they had was their word and all the insurmountable video evidence.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div   id="gqq8s83tkl"    class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">What an ego-trip&#8230; Elon Musk has been livestreaming himself playing overpowered Path Of Exile 2 character, proudly and seriously pretending that he got there _himself_, and actual POE veterans are laughing their asses off watching and dissecting that charade. Why Elon, why?\ud83e\udd26\u200d\u2642\ufe0f\ud83e\udd26\u200d\u2642\ufe0f <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kAIKYoaEGq\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/kAIKYoaEGq<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Alex Alarga \u23f9\ufe0f (@AlexAlarga) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AlexAlarga\/status\/1877418817782952094?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">January 9, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/div><\/figure>    <p>It all came to a halt not long ago, when Musk \u2014 possibly feeling safe in hiding under the shadow of an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2025\/jan\/20\/trump-elon-musk-salute\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">even larger controversy<\/a> \u2014 admitted to doing a little account boosting. It should come as no surprise, however, that Musk did it not out of a newfound sense of decency, but because &#8220;his&#8221; account was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.windowscentral.com\/gaming\/elon-musk-comes-clean-about-path-of-exile-2-and-diablo-4-credentials-and-i-am-shocked-shocked-i-tell-you\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">caught in-game while<\/a> Musk was at the Trump inauguration.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div   id="gqq8s83tkl"    class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Quin69 notices Elon Musk playing Path of Exile 2 while attending the presidential inauguration  <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hrg8tDHjJ1\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/hrg8tDHjJ1<\/a><\/p>&mdash; FearBuck (@FearedBuck) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FearedBuck\/status\/1881465363201765629?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">January 20, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/div><\/figure>    <p>Musk himself answered some of YouTuber NikoWrex&#8217;s questions, though he naturally didn&#8217;t admit to any fault of his own. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.windowscentral.com\/gaming\/elon-musk-comes-clean-about-path-of-exile-2-and-diablo-4-credentials-and-i-am-shocked-shocked-i-tell-you\" target=\"_blank\">You can read the short interview at Windows Central<\/a>, but the most important takeaway was that Musk never claimed he was the one behind the creation of the account.<\/p>    <p>&#8220;No. Never claimed that. The top accounts in Diablo or PoE require multiple people playing the account to win a leveling race.&#8221;<\/p>    <p>This is hilarious, as Musk is at least considering himself as an essential part of the team behind one of the best characters in the game. He also assured players that the streams where you saw him playing, that was definitely him.<\/p>    <p>&#8220;But when I post a video of a game or am streaming. that&#8217;s 100% me.&#8221;<\/p>    <p>So yeah, glad to know he was at least 100% responsible for getting his 97-level hardcore character killed like a chump.<\/p>    <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-let-s-be-honest-musk-sucks-at-games\">Let&#8217;s be honest, Musk sucks at games<\/h2>    <p>Look, I&#8217;m no video game sleuth, and I don&#8217;t even know much about <em>Diablo <\/em>or <em>POE<\/em>, but I knew right away that Musk&#8217;s claims were bunk. Why? Well, because even if I were to ignore the man&#8217;s hardcore rivalry with honesty, I could not forget the cursed knowledge I&#8217;d acquired over many years of playing <em>Dark Souls<\/em>. That puts me in a place where I will randomly be haunted by the memories of when Musk boasted about his <em>Elden Ring <\/em>build on Twitter. <\/p>    <p>It&#8217;s fine if you&#8217;re not into <em>Elden Ring<\/em>. The only takeaway you need from his build is that you could say it was hastily made by a random build generator \u2014 if not for the fact it somehow sucks more than anything you&#8217;d get out of a random build generator.<\/p>    <figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"><div   id="gqq8s83tkl"    class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/EnoughMuskSpam\/comments\/1bldf3y\/i_still_think_about_the_elon_musk_elden_ring\/\" target=\"_blank\">I still think about the Elon Musk Elden Ring build from time to time. And mostly about how his fans tried to defend it.<\/a><br> by<a href=\"\"><\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/EnoughMuskSpam\/\" target=\"_blank\">EnoughMuskSpam<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script> <\/div><\/figure>    <p>I feel confident enough to say this was the moment when one of the world&#8217;s largest proponents of AI learned it was just best to pay off someone with actual game knowledge. Like, even if you&#8217;re not into <em>Elden Ring<\/em>, can you think of a game where having two shields equipped is a good idea?<\/p>    <p>And I don&#8217;t mean to say a man who absolutely sucks at one game can&#8217;t do well at another game. I do, however, mean to say that a man who sucks at one game and refuses to learn anything from non-sycophants just lacks what it takes to become the best in the world in one game, let alone at two.<\/p>    <p>Glad we were able to solve that very complicated mystery! Turns out the man known only for being very rich and annoying on the Internet was paying off someone to play POE2 and Diablo 4 and let Musk have the credit so he could be more annoying on the Internet. If you don't know exactly which instance of Musk being annoying on the Internet I'm talking about, let me give you a refresher. A couple of months ago, a very tiny but disproportionately vocal part of the Internet began raving about very busy billionaire Elon Musk being the top-ranked Diablo 4 player in the world. Then, in yet more proof that this truly was a Renaissance Man 2.0, Musk revealed he was also one of the best Path Of Exile 2 players in the world via streaming the game as a ridiculously high-ranked character. That proved an enormous mistake, as expert players \u2014 and people with just the basic amount of knowledge of the game, really \u2014 immediately noticed Musk lacked even the most basic amount of understanding of the game. For many days, players have been accusing Musk of account boosting, but all they had was their word and all the insurmountable video evidence. It all came to a halt not long ago, when Musk \u2014 possibly feeling safe in hiding under the shadow of an even larger controversy \u2014 admitted to doing a little account boosting. It should come as no surprise, however, that Musk did it not out of a newfound sense of decency, but because \"his\" account was caught in-game while Musk was at the Trump inauguration. Musk himself answered some of YouTuber NikoWrex's questions, though he naturally didn't admit to any fault of his own. You can read the short interview at Windows Central, but the most important takeaway was that Musk never claimed he was the one behind the creation of the account. \"No. Never claimed that. The top accounts in Diablo or PoE require multiple people playing the account to win a leveling race.\" This is hilarious, as Musk is at least considering himself as an essential part of the team behind one of the best characters in the game. He also assured players that the streams where you saw him playing, that was definitely him. \"But when I post a video of a game or am streaming. that's 100% me.\" So yeah, glad to know he was at least 100% responsible for getting his 97-level hardcore character killed like a chump. Let's be honest, Musk sucks at games Look, I'm no video game sleuth, and I don't even know much about Diablo or POE, but I knew right away that Musk's claims were bunk. Why? Well, because even if I were to ignore the man's hardcore rivalry with honesty, I could not forget the cursed knowledge I'd acquired over many years of playing Dark Souls. That puts me in a place where I will randomly be haunted by the memories of when Musk boasted about his Elden Ring build on Twitter. It's fine if you're not into Elden Ring. The only takeaway you need from his build is that you could say it was hastily made by a random build generator \u2014 if not for the fact it somehow sucks more than anything you'd get out of a random build generator. I feel confident enough to say this was the moment when one of the world's largest proponents of AI learned it was just best to pay off someone with actual game knowledge. Like, even if you're not into Elden Ring, can you think of a game where having two shields equipped is a good idea? And I don't mean to say a man who absolutely sucks at one game can't do well at another game. I do, however, mean to say that a man who sucks at one game and refuses to learn anything from non-sycophants just lacks what it takes to become the best in the world in one game, let alone at two.
