Is a Sega Super game on the way?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As spotted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/sega-announces-new-sega-account-sparking-speculation-over-super-game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Eurogamer,<\/a> Sega has just launched the &#8220;Sega Account,&#8221; which links together all of Sega&#8217;s games and services and adds some extra goodies for your convenience.<\/p>    <p>You can have this account even if you don&#8217;t own anything by Sega yet, and it&#8217;s free to use. &#8220;SEGA Account is a profile that lets you maximize SEGA&#8217;s online services and offers a ton of benefits. Anyone can sign up, and it&#8217;s free to use!&#8221; It also applies to Atlus titles, and it &#8220;gives you access to a host of benefits when playing Sega and Atlus titles and using their online services.&#8221;<\/p>    <p>The service will also provide users with bonuses and news about Sega-related games, promotions, and events.<\/p><\/iframe>    <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-is-the-sega-super-game\">What is the Sega Super Game?<\/h2>    <p>The most interesting part of the Sega Account, however, is that fans are positing it to be related to a bigger move by the company. Back in 2022, Sega&#8217;s financial reports mentioned a mysterious &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/jbsgame.com\/crazy-taxi-jet-set-radio-reboot-sega-super-game-nft-rumor-blooberg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Super Game<\/a>&#8221; project, which this could be related to. From Bloomberg&#8217;s report from back in 2022, we learned that this super game was targeting a release date by March 2026, so the Sega Account could serve as a launching pad for this Super Game.<\/p>    <p>An alternative to this theory is that the &#8220;Super Game&#8221; is an access point to revived and improved versions of some of Sega&#8217;s most beloved games from the company&#8217;s golden past. <\/p>    <figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div   id="gqq8s83tkl"    class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Here\u2019s a little speculation: Remember the \u201cSuper Game\u201d that Sega was hyping up a while back?
