CrossfireX

CrossfireX, Ark, Infernax and more hit Xbox Game Pass this month

Days are running out to play Control on Game Pass, though

It’s a new month, and a new slate of games are with it. The headliners for the start of February are a motley crew of neat games, ones that might have passed you by so far. But with a Game Pass spot, it might be worth your time to check a few out.

CrossfireX is one of the notable entries on here. The single-player campaign Operation: Catalyst was developed in partnership with Remedy, and might fill in if you’re looking for a Modern Warfare-adjacent FPS campaign. Ark: Ultimate Survival Edition also comes to cloud, console, and PC, if you’ve missed the dino-survival adventure.

Telling Lies is one of my standouts from this month. The FMV thriller from Sam Barlow and Half Mermaid expands on the mechanics of Her Story, having you dive through a hard drive to uncover the secrets of four apparent strangers. It’s a good one to sit down with for an evening. And Jordan really seemed to dig Infernax, a very Simon’s Quest-style game.

Of course, while some arrive, others leave. This month, Remedy’s Control will be leaving Game Pass, so better get on with finishing that out. The Medium and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age also leave the Pass.

Here’s the full lineup of what’s coming and going on Game Pass at the start of this month.
